This spring, I took a very special pearl pendant and matching earrings to Jewelry Doctors in hopes they could make the set into a ring. The pearls were a gift from someone I loved very much. I imagined a ring I could wear all of the time to remind me of him. The kind, talented Jewelry Doctors team created a swoon-worthy ring for me. I cherish this special gift from my loved one, beautifully remade into a gorgeous daily reminder of his love.

This place is great! Paul is a jewelry genius and Kathryn is joyful and helpful. I brought in three items which needed repair. The price for repairs was much more reasonable than a nearby jewelry store chain. I was able to drop off and pick up in about an hour. The selection of products is excellent. Ask about custom pieces. They also cleaned my ring for free.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff who took the time to listen to my request and explain my options. Will definitely be back if I have any other jewelry repairs needed!

I’m extremely happy with the services I received here. I needed a chain repaired as well as to resize my wedding rings and both were done by next day. All of the staff I interacted with were great and they even cleaned up my rings. I will definitely be recommending this place to others. It may have been a 40 minute drive for me but it was well worth the visit. Also located in the mall so you can take care of other shopping.

I visited the store this morning to see about getting a loose clamp on my necklace tightened. The man who worked there fixed my necklace in two seconds and didn’t charge me a dime. That is what I call SERVICE! I’m a customer for life now, and will come here for all of my jewelry repair needs!

I took two rings here today. One that just needed the settings tightened. The second ring Id let soak in the wrong cleaner so it had become badly discolored and I was worried it would need replated. The first ring was finished and cleaned right away. The second one was cleaned, reshaped and given back to me looking like nothing had ever happened to it. When my husband and I asked how much we owed, they said we owed nothing. They just needed a thorough cleaning and settings tightened. Amazing, honest team and amazing customer service.

I went in to see if they could resize my ring, it was purchased off Etsy as a gift from my boyfriend. Its silver and with the designs on the sides other jewelry stores couldnt do. But Jewelry Doctors could. As you can see in the photo, it looks like its part of the ring. They added in the texture and some of the antiquing. The designs were hardly touched. Im absolutely amazed at the work and the quality is superb. I would recommend them for any silver work that needs to be done.

This place has been in business for years. I used to go to their stand by the food court for all my watches, bracelets, and necklaces that needed fixing. Been in Colorado for a long time and came back hoping they were still there. They have a nice new store in the mall and once again helped me fix my watch. The only place I go in KC. The employees were super nice and professional. I will keep my business with just them. All I need.One other thing.... years ago I brought in a pocket watch and had it fixed. When I picked it up there was an important piece missing. All these years later they still have every little piece left behind from their old stand and said they probably still have the piece or will order me the right one to get the watch correct again. Very impressed by that. These are good, responsible, professional people that seem to truly care about their customers. They do a great job and fix any problems for you that might happen (once in all the years Ive been a customer of theirs).

Hello, my fiance purchase an engagement ring from you guys at the beginning of the year. He proposed on Super Bowl night. I wore the ring that night but took it off at bedtime because it was too big and I never put it back on again until it got sized. A few days later after I got it sized I wore my ring out the store and that night my ring turned BLACK. I called you guys the next morning and I was told to bring it in and youll fix it (It probably was the chemicals that was use when the ring was sized that made it turn BLACK) I couldnt make it the next day but I did make it the following day and you guys made my ring back to the most prettiest ring Ive ever seen. Now I wake up today and my ring is BLACK once again😢 about thirty days after you guys fix it from being BLACK the first time. This is becoming to be a headache! This is supposed to be a symbolization of LOVE and a New Start for myself and my family but every time I look down at my ring Im not sure if my union is going to fade to black like my ring does every 30 days. My fiance paid his hard earned money to build a sturdy foundation for his family but yet and still the foundation that I was promised with this ring seems to keep fading to Black

Highly recommend this shop. I am military and had a ring made for my wife in Afghanistan. She accidently cracked a few emeralds on it by mistake. I took the ring to Tivol in KC and was quoted $1000+ to repair it. I was at Overland Park Mall and happened to speak to the jeweler named Paul. He is fantastic. He was able to fix the ring for $100. Paul is honest and the work is amazing. Also, he was able to complete the repair that day. I highly recommend this shop for all your jewelry repair needs and especially Paul.

I took my diamond ring in to have the prongs completely redone on my ring & the jeweler looked at the ring & said all it needed was the prongs needed to realigned & set & he did just that he reset the diamond & tightened the diamond & cleaned the ring all for free. He did an absolutely amazing job & would recommend this guy for everyone. Thank you.

I have used Jewelry Doctors over the years for repair and design work... I went to Oak Park Mall recently and was disappointed to find their kiosk was not by the food court... I thought they were gone. Thankfully, they just moved to a store front on the top level by ladies Dillard’s! The jeweler there is the BEST and now they have more space for retail (and a larger retail selection, as well). Don’t even think twice about using these folks, they are the best.

Best place for jewelry repair. I had gone to another jeweler repair and they told me it would be a few weeks to repair. I then went to Designs By Jewelry Doctors and they had told me my necklace chain would be a hour to fix and cheaper than what the other place had told me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My experience was great and I for sure would recommend this place to a friend!

Was looking for a gift for my wife and Jody and her staff were super helpful. They took the time to show me a variety of items and help me narrow down to something that she’ll really like. Location was easy to find I’ll definitely be back.

I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I called many jewelry stores in the area and they refused to work on my ring as it’s pure gold. I called Paul and he told me to come on by and he’ll bend my ring back in place and he did great. I will be coming back to see him in the future.

This is a very good jeweler that is missed or passed up because they are a Kiosk in a mall. They have over 20 years of experience and they were recommended to me by a friend who knows their Jewelry. I just picked up a ring from my local jeweler and the time it would take to size a ring through them would be 10 days. I knew I could come to the jewelry doctors and they would do it the same day, not only did they do it the same day they did it in an hour and a half. Ive been waiting a long time to get this ring and because of them I got to wear it the same day I picked it up! Im very happy with the service. Also my ring had a special shank and the jeweler was able to seamlessly size my ring. You would have no idea that its been modified at all.

My first visit to the Jewelry Doctor was back in 2000. Ive had everything from watch batteries, band adjustments, ring sizing, and stone purchases all done through them. I have experienced great customer service and have found that the repair work is what you expect from a mom and pop store. Great experiences every time and NO LINES OUT THE DOOR! Who wants to wait 3 hours for a watch battery? Not me. Drop it off, do some shopping or have lunch, and by then my stuff is ready. I will continue going to the JD for as many years as they are open.

Just had a great experience with Devin and Jewelry Doctors. Took in a bag of jewelry for repair. Devin was pleasant and professional. Repairs were reasonable and done in a half hour, including a clasp for which there was no charge!

First time in the store to replace a battery in a complicated watch. Several different options to choose from and they were extremely helpful when other stores could not accomplish this. Talked to other customers in the store who are very high on them also.

I was a little hesitant due to the bad reviews, but I needed engraving done on 5 pocket watches before my wedding next week. I figured Id be fairly safe trying the engraving services as there are no bad reviews about that yet.The workers were professional and courteous and engraved all 5 pocket watches in less than an hour. The estimated wait time was approx. 2-2/2 hours due to expected interruptions, however luckily there were no other customers, so the trip to the mall was a lot quicker than expected :) .The only thing I am not a fan of is the cost, it is normally $35 to engrave the watches, but I was charged $20 since I had so many, which helped a lot! But, it is still pricey for 2 initials and a period. But, I am very happy with the engraving and font choice.If I need something engraved, I would most likely go back to these people.

Wife took her ring there to get it re-sized and the guy completely ruined her $2,500 ring!! He said he couldnt get the ring small enough, so now it looks like an egg. You would think that he should have known that going into the re-size, but apparently he didnt care and had no clue what he was doing. The ring looks like crap and I will never go to this place again, nor will I allow anyone I know to ever go to this horrible place. Best part is, he still charged her for the ring!! Guy was a complete joke! DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR JEWELRY TO THE JEWELRY DOCTORS!

I have attempted to be helped on numerous visits to Oak Park Mall, The employees seem pre-occupied with their cell phones or just not caring. I finally made and effort and was greeted after 5 minutes by some rude hipster named Devin. Their was another young Lady named Ashley working helping another customer that seemed very nice and polite. I told him I would wait for her. She helped with a necklace and answered all my questions and concerns which led to my purchase. Honestly if this company doesnt get rid of the rude riff raff that doesnt care and hire more happy helpful employees they will soon be out of business.

On two occasions I have gone here, I only repeated my visit because I like to give people second chances.On my fist visit the necklace my boyfriend was getting fixed looked like crap when it was returned to us, the girl who was dealing with us was rude, and wouldnt give him his money back or even replace the part that she screwed up completely. Thankfully her supervisor was listening in and fixed the shotty worksmanship.On the second and final visit, I went to get a brand new, $300 watch resized. They sized it to fit my wrist well. However, 6 hours later it completely falls apart. Links on both sides had screws fall out, I assume from where they took off the links to begin with and just didnt use any care in putting the watch back together.Sure they are reasonably priced, but they take no care in the handling of your jewelry, and your items will more than likely comeback to you in worse condition than before.
