House of Diamonds owner, Gene, very professional and personable. He works at building relationships that are not possible with the more familiar store names. I felt that the interactions with him (and his family while at the store) were those of a good and trusted neighbor.

JP is excellent to work with and walks you through everything you need to know when buying while customer designing the ring you want in a timely manner! They will not try and oversell you on anything and work to keep you within your set budget you give them! The owners are also first class and get to know their customers when they enter the store. Bought my wifes ring here in 2005. I have never been treated better in any jewelry store, or any store at all for that matter. I stopped in right after work as a delivery driver, still in my work clothes. You would have thought I was the president by the treatment I received. They knew I would be financing and had a modest budget, but that didnt matter to them. As it turns out I was able to get her an amazing ring for less cost than a lesser ring with an inferior diamond from a chain. The care after the sale is equally amazing.

I went to buy a custom engagement ring and the experience was seamless. JP, Karen and Gene were all very nice and professional. They made sure my ring was exactly as I wanted it and it came out perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a custom ring.

I just didnt know my exact ring size!) and they had it done SO quickly and made sure it fit perfectly before I left. The. Best. Jewelry. In. Town. We’ve known Gene & Karen for years and enjoy the friendly and impeccable service every time we walk in the store. Gene helped us pick out the settings and stones for my wedding set almost 20 years ago. He ordered the stones, showed them to us before putting them in the setting and the rings look just as spectacular as they were the first day I put them on. It’s true, you become a part of the family and they will take care of you and your jewelry!

My fiance purchased my engagement ring from House of Diamonds. The morning after he proposed he called about coming in to get it resized. When we arrived, they called my fiance by name the moment we walked in the door; the resizing took maybe 10 minutes to complete, during which time they helped us size his finger to be able to start looking for wedding bands. When Ive gone back for cleanings for my ring theyre extremely nice and carry a conversation while youre waiting (again, maybe 10 minutes).As a small town kid, its pleasant to find business in a large city who genuinely care to know who you are.

My husband and I have only amazing reviews for Karen and House of Diamonds. We were referred to House of Diamonds after we had a horrible experience with a jeweler down the street whom we had trusted with engagement ring purchase. After being mislead on authenticity of the initial diamond and losing the replacement diamond after just 8 weeks of wear we chose to use House of Diamonds to handle our insurance claim. Karen made an absolute horrible experience that gave me zero faith in the diamond industry to now having confidence that the business they do at House of Diamonds reflects their true character as honest business people that strive on customer service and expert knowledge of precious stones. I wanted a right-hand ring that did not look like an engagement ring. Karen suggested that I might want to consider a custom-designed, one-of-a-kind ring. I decided that was an idea I wanted to pursue.Working with Karen to create the ring was an awesome experience!After showing Karen several styles I liked, she created CAD renderings which she e-mailed to me. Once I chose the final design, she used a 3-D printer to make a resin model. I was able to try on the model with mother’s stone before the ring was cast.The entire process only took a few short weeks. I am beyond thrilled with my ring and think it is absolutely beautiful.Karen is delightful to work with. She is passionate, professional, friendly and helpful. She eagerly showed me through the back of the shop to explain the steps involved in casting my ring, very interesting. We had the team at House of Diamonds create a custom piece of jewelry for us for our 40th anniversary, and from the moment we entered their store they were a delight to work with. They had suggestions to make this piece even more special by placing a hidden design into the girdle of the ring. The finished piece gave me goosebumps and turned out even prettier than we had imagined. I was able to work with them throughout the process, from the initial sketches, the CAD, the wax and their explanation of the process using 3D printers to create the wax.Your stones never leave the store from the time you walk into the store with your jewelry pieces until the time you walk out with the door with the new piece. This was a huge determining factor in trusting them to design a piece that would truly be an heirloom to pass on.Gene, Karen and their staff make you feel welcome from the moment you enter their establishment. They care about their customers and it is obvious.Whether you are looking for an engagement ring, a special piece of jewelry or to design a custom piece, you will not be disappointed. It has been 14 years since I started doing business with Gene. I knew what I wanted my wifes ring to look like, just couldnt find it anywhere. After shopping both chain stores and other local experts, Gene had the best looking stone, exactly what I wanted from and design perspective and was almost a thousand dollars less than the other lowest quote. They still do not hesitate to clean my wifes ring whenever we take it in there. Very satisfied to have been treated so well with my first large investment in jewelry.

Karen, JP and the rest of the team were extremely helpful in helping us design/pick out an engagement ring and wedding band that fit our look yet stayed within our budget. They also spent time to educate us in the differences and qualities of the diamonds, and made sure we got the best stones for the best price. One of the most amazing customer service oriented jewelry and Diamond stores I have ever been to, Gene and Karen go above and beyond expectations and do everything in their power to satisfy all customers. You can get anniversary rings, wedding rings, engagement rings, any kind of custom jewelry, and I believe one of the only in the United States to make exactly their own jewelry.

The owner Gene gave a price 1/2 the cost Kay Jewelers quoted me for a repair. He had to send it off out of state for the repair got it back extremely fast. Kay Jewelers said it would take 4 weeks. HOD only took maybe 10 days. My ring is 7 years old, but looks brand new now. Ill recommend my friends and family to House of Diamonds. The owner really does care about customer satisfaction whether youre spending a few hundred dollars or thousands.

Overall - these guys will bend over backwards to get things right for you. I was so impressed. This is now the only place we will take my wifes ring.My (now) wife and I took her engagement ring (it was her grandmothers heirloom ring) here to be worked on before we got married. It needed quite a bit of work. The guys at House of Diamonds fixed it up just the way it must have looked when her grandmother first got it. There was just one problem - it was so worn that my wife had never seen it in its original state, and it turns out she didnt actually like it that way! This is where the real review starts. We came back to house of diamonds and explained (we were also under a time crunch to get it fixed up for her before she left on a long trip). I talked with the owner (Gene) and he was so understanding. He scheduled a time for us to come in outside of normal hours to sit down with one of their jewelers to figure out just the way she wanted it to look. We worked with them for a while while the jeweler worked on the ring right in front of us, going back and forth until we had figured it out. Then they finished it up after we left. I was SO IMPRESSED! Who does that in this day in age? Not only do they have jewelers on site (no mailing out) but they took the time to sit down with us and work directly with the jeweler. They did an absolutely phenomenal job and the ring looks amazing. My wife loves it. We also bought my wedding ring here as well and the service was amazing. This is the only place we will bring my wifes ring in the future and I cant recommend them enough.

House of Diamonds has unbelievable jewelry and customer service to match. I had some Tahitian pearl earrings made a year or two ago. I rarely wore them because the gauge of the wire was too thick for my ear lobes and hurt like crazy when I put them in. I thought the opening of the hook needed to be adjusted but after they adjusted it the earrings they still hurt so badly going in. I very rarely wore them. Since so much time had gone by, I didnt think they would do any more work on them for me but THEY DID (without charging). The wire is now thinner allowing the gorgeous Tahitian pearl to dangle freely without hurting my ears. I cannot imagine using any other jeweler because they have taken such good care of me!

He is always very professional and one of the nicest guys! I explained what was going on and he told me hed be over in just a moment. There are only a handful of jewelry stores that have the tools available to make your special piece.I have referred many friends and family members to House of Diamonds. My wife and I bought her engagement ring and our wedding rings from Gene and Karen. Both of my wifes bands were custom platinum bands, and the engagement ring I designed myself. Both of my wifes rings incorporated stones that had been passed down through my family for 4 generations. Needless to say I was a bit apprehensive, but after meeting Karen and Gene, seeing their facility, and seeing the work theyve done in the past, I felt safe leaving them in Gene and Karens hands. My gut certainly served me well. Karen worked with me throughout the design process of the engagement ring, and did an AMAZING job bringing my design thoughts to reality. My wife absolutely loved it, her wedding band, as well as the platinum band she picked out for me...as did I. We unfortunately hadnt been able to go in since just after we were married in Oct. 08...I walked in this fall (Sept. 11) and Karen and Gene BOTH knew my first name, what I did for a living, my wifes name, the rings we had done, EVERYTHING...and this was a COMPLETELY unannounced visit. THAT is what I call customer service. Karen and Gene if you read this, I will NEVER go anywhere else. I would suggest those of you reading this do the same.

Patient staff, quick repairs and reasonable price for repair of my 50 year old wedding ring that has been worn constantly and only been repaired 3 times. Twice in 25 years at House of Diamonds!

I went to House of Diamonds because they were highly recommended by a friend who is in the jewelry supply business. I was in need of having my wedding rings re-sized, and they have a jeweler on site, which means that my rings would stay right there in the store and the work would be done in the shop. I was very, very pleased with the service I received. Karen took great care of me, made sure I knew my diamond, mapped it, and had me look at it with the loupe. She explained the style, the cut, everything about it. I asked her about the condition of the ring, since another jeweler had said that one of the prongs was damaged and would need to be rebuilt. She said there is nothing wrong with the prongs, and had me look at them thru the loupe for verification. She laid out the costs, explained exactly what would be done. In the meantime she cleaned another ring for me that I would wear until my ring was ready. She told me how long it would take for the work to be done. I felt very strongly that my ring was in the right hands. I received a call much sooner than expected that my ring was ready. I went to pick it up and was so very pleased with the quality of the work that had been done. My ring is beautiful. I think they actually fit it together with the bands around it better than when it was originally made. The jeweler who had done the work even came out to see it on my finger, and make sure that I was happy with it. They told me to come back as often as I wanted to have my rings cleaned. I wish I had more reason to visit them again! They are a professional, welcoming, and wonderful group. I will be back for regular cleanings and will enjoy looking around to see whats new! If you need to visit a jeweler for any reason, House of Diamonds is wonderful!!

I am surprised and offended that I was treated so poorly at House of Diamonds. Gene was very rude and actually hurt my feelings when I asked him to reset my stone.I went to Joslins right after and was told that I could have the setting set for way more then half the price in the same amount of time without being minimized or treated rudely.I understand that jewelry is an expensive commodity right now but I am extremely offend when someone is so rude to someone that can not afford at least $3000 +.

My fiancé could not stop talking about how great everyone was when he picked out my ring. He had taken my daughter with him to help pick out the ring, and they went above and beyond to make her feel included. I had my first experience with them today when I took my ring in to be resized. Before I even told the young lady the name on the account, she recognized me just by the ring. She asked about details of the proposal, as my fiancé had told her how he had it planned. There is truly something to be said about the mom and pop shops. Makes everything so much more personal.
