Hans was so great! Our AC went out during the Summer… Hans made it to our house that same day for a quote, wrote up various proposals/options for us to consider, and they replaced both our AC and furnace within a week! Everyone we worked with were beyond kind.

Very satisfied with our choice of Hans to service our equipment. The technician called us before coming to our home and arrived in a timely manner. Tanner did an excellent job taking care of us and wasn’t afraid to share his existing knowledge on our unit. The technician explained some preventive maintenance that could extend the time between repairs that we could do ourselves. It’s almost impossible to find a company that puts the customer first instead of revenue and we were pleasantly surprised. We will continue to use Hans for all of our needs

I Called Hans for yearly service on Heat and Air Conditioning that they installed. The Techs were on time. Before they began work I explained that the AC unit has been loud from the time their company installed it and would like for them to investigate and provide me an answer as to why it is so loud. After their work was complete he said the reason that the AC is so loud is because it is only a SEER 13 and that the control board to the AC’s compressor caused it to ramp up. I called BS and said if that was the case and it was a slow start on the compressor motor it would quite down after it got to full speed. I then asked to talk to his service manager and his reply was that he was on another job and would call me back. I waited till the end of the work day for a call and did not receive one. While waiting for a call back I did some investigating and found that he was either making stuff up or did not know what he was talking about when he made the claim that the control board was causing the compressor to be loud. I also went down to my utility room to look at the furnace and noticed the front cover on the furnace was not correctly reinstalled after they serviced it, so I removed the cover and noticed the transformer for the humidifier was wire tied and hanging onto a group of wires that are connected to the control board. This didn’t appear to be more than a sloppy install except the two wire contacts on the transformer were facing the front cover that has a foil face on it. This can cause a short resulting in damage. I ended up repairing this myself since the Hans service manager refused to do it.At the end of the work day around 5pm I called the Hans company back and got the service manager Steve on the phone. I explained all of my concerns about the noisy AC compressor and the way the humidifier transformer was installed. He had no response as to why the AC was loud and he said that all new construction humidifier transformers are hung from the control board wires and that it is OK if the open wire connectors come into contact with the foil on the front cover. When I disagreed he got angry and told ME to calm down and said that his boss would call me back. Before I could say anything else he hung up and I haven’t heard from anyone since. I’m at a loss as to why they are refusing to help with an AC unit that they installed. In my humble opinion the service manager and his crew need some serious training in HVAC and how to communicate with customers. As a person with almost 40 years of industrial maintenance experience I learned long ago that it is OK to admit when you don’t know or are unsure of something. Those moments present learning experiences where you can then research and find the correct answer to the question.

Phillip showed up quickly Friday afternoon after I was told they may not be able to make it until the following Monday. He diagnosed the issue swiftly, was helpful in getting me up and running at a more than fair rate, and advised me on a few things i did not know to help my systems run more efficiently with the hopes to space out the repair calls. Their driver that takes the interstate from about maybe dodge street to get off at the sapp brothers exit 144th street needs to not be driving for them. Speeding on the interstate and cutting people off including me. Then getting off the interstate turns super sharply and fast where he coulda rolled and cut lanes of traffic and cut me off and about hit me. Some people should MAYBE either leave for work on time and also be more cautious driving a company vehicle.

Their contact process for scheduling appointments works very well. Their technicians are courteous and knowledgeable. All the work we have had done was completed in a professional and timely manner. We recently purchased a new heating and air system from Hans. We are so glad we chose them. After obtaining estimates from 6 reputable companies, Hans was the most knowledgable. They werent the lowest or the highest bid. Quality was more important to us than going with the lowest price and cheapest equipment. The new Trane system is beyond our expectations. Both the furnace and ac are so quiet compared to our old ones. The ac does a great job of keeping humidity levels down in the summer. We just started using the heat with the humidifier option and it is working to keep the static electricity down. If anyone in your house has allergies or sinus issues we recommend going with the Air Scrubber Plus option. Since having it installed, my chronic cough and phlegm issues are gone! It also cuts out dog odors and helps bad cooking odors dissipate more quickly. It was totally worth the price for the add-on. Jamie was great to work with and gave us many options in different price ranges, explaining the pros and cons of each. The installers were very professional and Jamie was patient about explaining how we should operate the new system for maximum comfort and efficiency.

I can not say enough nice things about this company. The day my husband leaves to go out of town the AC stops working. Go figure. I had a another company (standard heating and air) come out and give me an estimate. They told me it was going to be $1,100 to repair! I could a new system for that!! So I thought I should get a second opinion. The Hans people were able to come out the next day. This awesome guy Brad was able to repair my AC that day and it only cost $140!!! That is a big difference in price! Brad was super nice and so knowledgeable. Thank you so much for such wonderfull customer service and fixing my AC. I will forever be using and recommending this company!

After our a/c went out and we began looking for a new HVAC system, we were immediately impressed by Jamies compassion and knowledge. Since my husband was at the initial appointment, I had many questions regarding efficiency and environmental impact Jamie took the time to help me navigate what would be best for our home. This meant many phone calls!The installation crew was great and we felt comfortable leaving them while we tended to our other commitments. Because we were not around when they were leaving, another crew came to install the humidifier dial. They did that but also noticed our rather large dehumidifier in our basement. They took the time to investigate our systems and help us troubleshoot for better air quality/control. They definitely went above and beyond each and every time. Thank you!

Great experience all around from Hans! They were prompt, knowledgeable and fair, they got our capacitor fixed in no time and he even took the time to clean up the outside of our unit, and show me some extra controls on the ductwork! I’ll definitely be calling them next time we have an issue.

Jamie was very knowledgeable about the equipment. We up graded our furnace, AC. and air filter. The work was done in timely manner, they keep the house clean with their tarps over the carpet and walk ways. My home has 4 HVAC units (11 years old) with 5 Zones. I scheduled my spring checkup for 1300 6/18. Randy arrived at 1243 to clean, evaluate and service my units. One of the 4 (most used) has a slow gas leak. Randy topped off the supply with 2 lbs ($95) with advice to live with the leak as repairs would likely be more costly than unit replacement. We are pleased with the service and that Randy took the time to answer all our questions. He finished the service call at 1447. The service ($450) was expensive but I have 4 systems. Ill use Hans for my next HVAC Spring Check.

I inquired with 3 of the major Trane dealers here in omaha and Hans was the only dealer that replied. Jamie Fitzgerald I hope the company you work for knows what an asset you are to them. You are very knowledgeable and professional!!! My system is not quite ready for replacement yet, but I can tell you that Hans is the only number I will be calling when the time comes.Sorry Burton and Freds you had your chance. At least a phone from them would of been nice.

The bid blew my mind. Twice as high as the next closest bid. I had to ask twice if the bid was correct since I had no idea how two t-stats and zone controller could cost $2500 to replace. Ended up buying the equipment myself and paying $400 for the install and $600 for equipment. The gouging that goes on in the HVAC business makes healthcare blush.

Had them come after my air conditioner went out. Service tech came and the AC had kicked back in. Said everything look good. Ok fine...Two days later AC goes out again. I have a service tech come back and they determine the motor is bad. Have them replace the motor for about $400 bucks. Great everythings working again and Im good to go. (btw my tech was good no complaints there)Few weeks go by and I receive a bill for $90 from the first service call?! I could understand this IF I didnt have to have them come back because it turned out there was actually something wrong and everything didnt look good!I then called and spoke with someone about my issue with this. She didnt seem to care, even after I told her I was referred by someone to them that even has an ongoing maintenance agreement. Didnt care...I know I wont work with them again...

Normally, we have received great, and reasonable service from Hans. However, one of their field Supervisors, Steve is as unprofessional and rude as anyone I have ever spoken with in a customer service capacity. I am tempted to not work with them again. Our AC has been out twice this week and the tech on Friday afternoon failed to leave a voicemail when the call didnt come through to me at work. Steve finally called back after I reached the after hours service to find out what the status was on our service call and he yelled at me on the phone saying they had tried several times to reach me. I tried to tell him that I received NO voicemail from them to indicate that they tried to even call. He said Its YOUR fault and were booked! and that now I will have to wait till monday or call someone else! Pretty disappointed based on our past experiences. I wouldnt leave this kind of review after a one-off, but technicians havent taken the time to make sure everything is right before leaving our house.

!!!!!SCAM!!!!!! SERVICE MANAGER STEVE SHOULD BE FIRED!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! They charged me $180 to diagnose an issue with my A/C unit, which turned out to be a bad compressor, ok great. Most companies have a service fee but dont charge you for labor untill they figure out the issue. That way you dont have some inexperienced tech lolly gagging around racking up the bill. I was ok with paying the bill that wasnt the issue. Just wanted to know exactly what I was gettig charged for. The service manager (Steve) left me a nasty voicemail demanding money a day later but I hadnt even got an itemized bill yet. I called him and he was completely rude and unprofessional ended up hanging up on me. Called front office again today to ask why I havent got a bill yet and the receptionist said she emailed it to me. I still dont have it. She repeted the wrong email realized her mistake but still havent seen a bill?? She was quick to ask to hold my credit card # though. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!!
