We placed a call for appliance service on our 13 year old electric dryer.The service tech arrived on time and repaired our squeaky dryer within an hour. Thanks to Brandon for the great work he did on a relatively minor problem. Jackson responded promptly to our request for service and got us scheduled for a next-day appointment. I was given this company’s information by my warranty company and I would NOT recommend them whatsoever. I opened my warranty claim with them in July of 2020 and it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. Theyve sent two different techs both of which did not understand or know the problem with my appliance. Theyve ordered multiple parts then fall off the face of the earth and don’t reply about the status of the part, continue to blame their techs, take zero accountability in their process, the part issue and frankly I just don’t think they care. I just called another warranty company here in Omaha and they have a tech coming this week, are overly communicative and extremely pleasant. Do not waste your time with Jackson. You’ll be waiting 6 months for resolution. They are unresponsive, do not give you updates whatsoever, and don’t seem to care about their customers experience. Highly recommend Nebraska Home Appliance instead!

Great experience from contacting them for a quote, all the way to completion of the job. Every employee I talked to during the whole process was very courteous and professional. They arrived on time as scheduled to appraise the site for a quote, and I received a courtesy call from the technician the day of the installation. The installation crew of 3 guys were willing to make a few changes due to some complications, and their quality of workmanship is excellent. They take pride and ownership in what they do. Ill gladly recommend Jackson in the future.

Ryan came to our home for a warranty call on a noisy dryer. He diagnosed the problem immediately, fixed it efficiently, educated us on preventative measures, and the icing in the cake was how friendly he was! He chatted with my toddler while he worked. The Ac is out at my apartment and the complex called Jackson to replace the unit. Everything is on the roof ready to be switched over. I told this to the tech and he said that he could not do that because he did not have an air conditioning unit to replace the broken one with. I again told him that the new unit and other parts were on the roof ready to be swapped over. The tech was on the roof for 5-10 minutes and left without saying a word.

GREAT GREAT SERVICE!! I had a furnace check and they found a crack in my heat exchanger. The technician showed me the crack and was very polite. They SAVED my family from possible CO poisoning. They had a crew at my home the same day to replace my system for a very reasonable price. The new Carrier system was installed absolutely brilliantly!! Haven’t had any problems since. I would recommend them to anyone!!

Jackson Home Appliance put me on their wait list this morning when I awoke to a furnace that would not start. Elmer, one of their employees, called me within a short time and came to my house. He diagnosed the initial problem and went and got the part for me. There were several other issues he had to figure out but did so pretty quick. He was very polite and smart and efficient. I would use Jackson again with any appliance issue.

The tech was nice on the phone but when we called him back to confirm an appointment we were greeted by a rude, business killing snip that started the conversation with ‘’ What’s you’re problem ‘’ and it went downhill from there . Employees can make or break a business. Don’t subject yourself to this kind of customer service. Please DO NOT USE THIS COMANY for your own piece of mind.

Horrible Horrible HORRIBLE. Was told by technician that it would take 3 to 5 business days for the fridge parts to arrive. A week later and nothing happened. I called to try to figure out what is going on and the lady on the phone couldnt be more rude. She wasnt trying to be helpful at all and was very short and not professional in any way. Will not hire them again and wouldnt recommend them to anyone I know. Couldnt select zero stars but thats what they deserve.

Jackson Heating & Cooling installed a new heat pump, air handler, electric heat and ductwork in my attic. The crew was very friendly and they kept the area clean and picked up each day. The installation was professional and, more importantly, works extremely well. The city inspector remarked that it was one of the better installations that hes seen. I look forward to working with Jackson H&C if I need maintenance in the future.

I live at Tara Heights in Papillion, managed by Lund Company. My air handler went on the fritz causing my apt to be 91° when it was only 80° outside. My apartments maintenance tech (the second one that came out) noticed that there was definitely some issues and did what he could but called Jackson since they are his preferred HVAC contractor. They came out quickly and worked just as fast to get the problem fixed. My apartment is now a comfortable 71°! Thanks much to the guys at Jackson!

I have a problem with my dryer and they came out late the next day. I was on my way home from work (which they knew) and a college child of mine was home. I wanted the tech to check on the loud noise from the dishwasher and the ice maker that they fixed 6 mos prior. I was charges $168 for the house call and not the quoted $65 since they looked at 3 appliances. I would have appreciated the heads up that its a per appliance service call. I truly feel it warranted a phone call esp since I was 5 minutes out. I was taken advantage of.

The 2 stars is for whoever answers the business phone line. So incredibly rude and unprofessional I am still baffled by our conversation as I write this review. I was trying to explain my situation and how long we had been waiting for a part (vs how long we were told the part would be in), I was interrupted, yelled at, and basically made to feel like I was stupid. There has been absolutely no communication from Jackson to us the customers, we have had to call multiple times to figure out when we will get our service done. I was told when I called that we were on the schedule for tomorrow, and I said I was never told we were on the schedule tomorrow thats what I was calling to figure out to which he replied, well yeah, now you know. I am still fuming from this absolute rude employee. If we werent stuck using this company due to our appliance warranty, I would NEVER use this company. Take your money to a place with better customer service. This place SUCKS.

Two and a half months and then over 14 trips in the last three weeks to TRY and repair. EVERY trip they blame it on the last technician. They even left a note on my thermostat saying that unit is bad and need a new unit. They didnt have the courtesy to call anyone. Owner of Jackson has promised to fix, but promise was never kept. They have spent more time in my apartment than I have. Rental property management is paying for the motel rooms.Good luck with poor workmanship and no pride in customer service.

My Jenn Aire refrigerator quit working. While Jackson Appliance could not come the same day, they were here the next. 10 minutes the problem was identified, part replaced, removed and cleaned the ice maker, billed and out the door. Some of the reviews are not good, maybe it depends on the tech. Jim F was the tech and he was excellent.

Mediocre at best, scheduled a routine service call they were supposed to call between 0730 and 8, I finally called at 10. Oh the guy that was supposed to to do your work called in. We could get u in latter this week.This place is a joke, obviously theyve bitten off more than they can chew. And certainly there is something to be said for we can make a lot of money replacing a unit certainly a lot more than than providing service.So if ur looking for dependable quality service Jackson heating is not the place to go.

Were it possible to assign zero stars, I would do so. While it is true that the appliance in question was finally fixed, it took much longer than it should have and the woman who answers the phone was rude beyond belief or acceptability. Work hard to find another alternative for your appliance service needs in the Omaha area.

They dont deserve any stars. They showed up quickly for a.c. service and left quickly after charging me 530+$ to fill a.c. never looked for a Leak. A.c. lasted 12 hours then shut off. They returned two days later to fill again and still refused to look for LEAK. That time the tech left and the ac was not even blowing cold air. Now the entire system is making noises and is unusable. Jackson is crooks! On phone a different person answers every time and acts like I am being unreasonable. What is the point of trying to get to as many jobs as possible if you dont do the job well. Crooks. I want my money back.

They dont give you much options as to appointment times, kind of tell you one thing and then dont deliver. Had to plan on being home four different days to get one issue resolved. The last appointment they informed me that it would be first call (8:30 am), some how that turned out to not be on site until the afternoon? Imagine if all places were like this.... I wish that NFM warrant wasnt through them so that i could go somewhere else.When talking with the main reception, she understood my situation but didnt provide any solutions to resolve the issue Im Sorry was all that she offered.Peoples times are not important to this company, i would suggest working with someone else or finding another provider.I did give them a two stars as they were able to resolve the issue; the techs are great just the scheduling is horrible.

The team at Jackson was very responsive to our request for service on our frontloading dryer. Called Monday AM and by Tuesday afternoon, Brandon had problem diagnosed, part ordered and dryer up and running again.We will certainly ask for Brandon next time we need assistance.

Extremely poor customer service! While repairing my washer the servicemen cut the linoleum in the bathroom. When I called to ask them to have someone come look at the damage they said would have office manager call. No one called. A week later I called and got the same response. No response from them. .

HORRIBLE service. Unfortunately this is the company you are stuck with when you purchase a dishwasher service contract through NFM. The tech has been out 4 times, and yet the dishwasher is not fixed! Today was the 5th appointment. Scheduled for 8:00. At 8:10 I get a call that they overbooked and will have to re-schedule.Unacceptable service and similar customer service.

Recently I witnessed one of Jacksons HAH&C (JHAH&C) drivers/techs speeding and driving erratically on N. 90th. He had to slam on the brakes to avoid plunging into the back of a car moving into the left turn lane. I pulled to the side and confronted the driver, asking why he was driving so erratically. He looked wired as he began swearing at me profusely. I told him to watch his mouth--that I would not be disrespected by him. I reminded him that hes supposed to represent the company he works for and think about its brand. Needless to say, that conversation ended poorly.I later called JHAH&C a few times to report the matter--but no one returned my call. My last conversation was with Barb, who asked me what happened. I relayed the story and asked to speak to the owner, Mr. Claborn. Barb angrily replied, Mr. Claborn has no time for this and he doesnt want to hear it! My driver said someone hit him, so YOURE not telling the truth!Bad manners, foul, blame-shifters, unable to accept feedback and unwilling to properly demonstrate behaviors that would draw new customers...thats the makeup of JHAH&C. It would be in their best interest to go back to the drawing board and find ways to retool how they do business and treat people.

Terrible experience. The CSR was terrible in attitude in solving a billing issue.They were running a special gas furnace inspection, however, they didnt tell you it was only for 1 unit. The technician then added additional charge to the 2nd unit. That was OK to me although they should have been more honest on this in their promotion description. I complained to their CSR of this practice and she rebutted why I didnt ask how many furnaces it was for when making appointment. On the other hand the technician charged the first and second furnaces but the total was $10 more than the sum of 1st and 2nd unit, which I didnt spotted in the first place. I found out later and called to ask for refund and they started to say they did something additional. But in fact that was all nonsense. $10 is perhaps nothing but the dishonest is disgusting. You must take a close look at your bill because they will add a small amount to careless customers.

We called Jackson because they had come out before to fix our washer. The guy was nice that time but didnt put the shell on properly which caused water to leak out around the drum. We thought, oh well cuz the guy seemed nice enough. This time our microwave, dishwasher and frig needed repair. The microwave stopped working back in May, then the dishwasher started leaking a little in June and then just this last weekend the frig stopped cooling. We called Jackson on Monday and they said they couldnt send anyone out until Wednesday. I asked the guy if there would be just one $55 service charge or one for each of the appliances. He said just one for $55. and I thought great.The guy gets out here to do the repairs and says there will be a charge for each appliance where upon my daughter calls me because she knew the guy had only quoted one because she was listening when I made the appointment and the phone was on speaker. We told him we talked to Todd and he didnt argue and began working. I told the guy the rubber seal on the dishwasher was lose and it only leaked sometimes because we had put it back in. He trims the rubber seal, pushes it back in and calls it fixed (what we had done minus the trimming). Turns a screw on the defrost timer and the frig starts working. Then he takes the overhead microwave down and says he is not sure what is wrong as it might be the transformer or the magnatron or both. The transformer alone is over $120 and he recommends I just get a new one and I agreed!!!!I was pretty sure that the service charge came with an hour of repair time but he says no but I know that is what I got when the washer was fixed. He leaves to get a defrost timer for the fridge and comes back and tells me I will have to pay a service charge on each of the apppliances, so a $165.00 service charge. So he wants to charge me for an hour of labor at $60, plus $165.00 service charge and $25.00 for the defrost timer. Bear in mind he has not fixed the microwave and even now it is sitting on my diningroom table. I find that it is typical for the service charge to be waived if in fact a repair is madeFirst off he didnt seem very knowledgable and kept refering to manuals. Only fixed one of the three appliances and left one on the diningroom table. I went ballistic. I told him he knew from the get go we expected only 1 service charge, so if it is in debate that should be dealt with prior to repairs. So in the end he only charged me for one service charged but raised the time for the repairs and other charges to compensate. I really hate dishonesty and being played and with them today I got both! Not happy!!!

I was sold a 1yr contract by a customer of mine who worked for Jackson appliance. However, the office seemed to have a hard time keeping up with the details, I had to keep reminding them. The quality of services I was told I was going to get, I didnt. Poor quality of service, out of 3 visits, only one service tech knew his stuff. The service seems to be over priced for the quailty of service they give. The last vist, the service techs left the ceiling tile open, it is still open to this day after I notified the company in writting that the job was incomplete.

My microwave went out and called the warranty service and got these guys. Took almost seven months and finally gave up on them. I kept calling for an update on the part they supposedly ordering. Time was running out before the holidays were coming so I gave them a call back and they couldnt find anything about the part ordered. Called the service warranty back and got someone else to come out. It was fixed within a week. So much Failed on the part of Jackson Appliance. Wouldnt recommend them.

We are extremely disappointed in the service response time of the assigned tech, Kevin. He indicated he would call between 7AM and 8AM to set a window of appointment time and did not keep that time. This happened twice, finally arriving to make an assessment of the problem with our refrigerator past the appointed time. He indicated he would order parts on the following day and again call to set a time to return and complete the job. I had indicated on my original call to the office speaking with John , that I had an urgent request for service. Kevin requested a service call charge, which I paid, but was not told in my initial call. The job remains incomplete through 5 days with no followup call from the tech to indicate the status of parts and completion of the job. My call to the office to check on the status and report that Kevin has not called, followed up nor set a time to complete the job.

The person I spoke with on the phone is very rude. It seems as though I was a complete inconvenience to her. She lacks all customer service skills. She may be this way because she gets a lot of calls complaining about the kind of work they provide. The service they provided me was a mess. They were out twice to fix my washer and both times it was not done properly I went with another company in town, they adjusted the tilt on my washer and that fixed the problem. It was 5 minute fix that Jackson Appliance could not figure out. Not sure where these guys get their qualifications from but I think they need additional training.
