Heater checkup prior to the cold weather hits and to keep the warranty happy. Burton called to say the tech, Quentin, was about to finish an existing call and then Quentin called to tell me he was on his way. Thats very helpful when I work from home, to keep from having serious calls during the maintenance window. When finished, Quentin filled me in on what was found- its a new system so all was working properly. Fast and prompt service.

We called Burton for the first time today (after we compared pricing for an inspection call in which Burton was better) because our AC outdoor unit was making an unusual noise. We watched and learned a lot from Justin about our AC and furnace. He answered many questions and showed us areas of concern in our AC and furnace. He went above and beyond what we were expecting. My husband and I like Justin a lot and we hope we can have him back in the future. We were impressed with all the inspections and photos he took that will be stored on our new record. I asked him about the VIP Membership and we thought the price was excellent for all that is included. I (as an RN) also appreciated the Burton Covid safety measures that were clearly displayed and receiving a photo of Justin before he arrived. Dillon Nelson was so knowledgeable and explaining everything that he was looking at and providing me pictures to that I was confident I was making a good decision! I would like to request that he come back next time because I will plan on AC in the spring with Burton. This company was always very professional and Im starting to trust them more and more. Once again we found ourselves in trouble with a faucet that wont seal or turn off in our garage. Not to mention it being a weekend again. Searching around we ran into offers of help days out. We were overcharged $100 and told we needed a service that was not necessary. By the end of their services we were told we needed something completely separate done and that they apologized for wasting our time on something that wasn’t necessary. We were okay with it but we had originally asked to have someone come by with a snake and camera which they did not. It appears they wanted to add on extra services that were not needed and then charged an additional $100 to the price that was quoted. We were told by the manager Rich that we would receive a refund. It has been over two weeks. I called and was told there are more steps I need to take in order to get my money back that I was over priced. Will not use this company ever again

On Friday September 30th. I had a furnace inspection done by Frank Christiansen. He arrived promptly at 8:28, and after introductions and being shown access to the equipment, the conversation quickly diverged into a 30 minute dissertation about his love and experiences as a marathon runner, complete with pictures and detail, beyond my level of interest, as I had other things to attend to.After listening politely to his stories, he went on with to the, inspection. Everything about the inspection would lead me to believe failure was imminent, on multiple components. This is a 15 year-old system, and some wear and deterioration would be expected, however, nothing was shown to be dangerous or in dire need of repair. I am glad this did not happen to someone with no knowledge of the system and unsuspecting of the attempt to pressure an unnecessary replacement of a fully functioning serviceable system.The tech, did a through inspection, but I felt unnecessarily pointed to the need for a complete replacement of a fully functioning and serviceable system.

Derek M. Was very friendly, professional, and worked safely at all times. He explained every step of the process and gave us a better understanding of how the system works and how to properly maintain it. Will definitely request him again on future system maintenance. Steve from Burton was excellent to work with. He was very friendly and happily answered all our questions. He also gave us several different option depending on how much we wanted to fix today, and then explain everything in detail they would be doing once we chose. This afternoon, I called our regular plumbing service to request emergency assistance to repair a leaking pipe in the basement of my sons home. Unfortunately, the earliest appointment that company could offer was a week from today. I then called another plumbing service ... one that is part of a well known national chain ... that advertised 24-hour/7-days-a-week emergency response service. The operator took my information and promised to have a plumber to the house within two hours. About 45 minutes later, I received a called from that company informing me that they do not offer emergency 24-hour service, and they earliest they could respond was Monday.Then I called Burton AC Heating Plumbing & More. In less than an hour, I had 2 plumbers at the house working on the problem. They quickly identified the cause of the water in the basement and repaired the pipe and faucet. They then contacted a company that specializes in emergency clean-ups, and those folks will be on site shortly to begin the chore of pulling up carpeting and removing soggy drywall.The Burton plumbers -- Jason and Noah -- were professional, courteous, and kind. They explained exactly what they were going to do, then they did it. Great customer service and great quality of work. I will definitely be calling Burton in the future for any of our plumbing needs.

The equipment installers were here bright and early letting me know they were on their way about 30 minutes before they got here. That was a great courtesy. Each of the men greeted me and looked me in the eye. VIP confidence builder. They got right to work getting to their skill and before I knew it I had A/C. Scott taught me how to run the thermostat. Walked me around to all the areas where they worked. You all are blessed to have these strong team members.

Steve was fantastic with explaining all aspects of his findings during our plumbing and drain inspection. He gave us options for how to fix a problem we were having in our master bathroom regarding a sewer smell, with the findings being as simple as making sure the drain in our shower has water in it after flushing the toilet multiple times. He was very honest with how simple it was to fix the issue we were having (flushing toilet was causing a vaccum issue in the drain) after doing a thorough inspection, pulling our toilet and sending a camera down our line. He was very thoughtful and respectful of our home, wore booties over his shoes, cleaned each area he workedin, cleaned faucet heads to achieve better water flow and took great care to leave things just like they were after working in each area! Everything from communication from Burton about who would be coming to our home, Steve (the worker) calling to say he was 15 minutes away and then being on time, to the service provided was phenomenal!

Had a recruiter Renee call me from Burton she was VERY rude and unprofessional. Just “HUNG” up at the end after I got done thanking her for her time despite her VERY dry and rude behavior. I would not recommend working for this company. Think about it, if they are rude to you in the interview just think about how they will treat you as an employee.

When it rains it pours but Burton was here for all my issues!!Michael came out to assess the situation after my AC went out in the blaze of summer. Even though he didn’t have fantastic news for me he helped call my home warranty company and then when that too failed he had a customer service rep come out.Cody was sent same day to give me options. Despite all the “bad”news we were able to get my AC prepared for install in a few short days. He even got me set up to fix my toilet.Derek and his teammate came out and they were fantastic putting in the AC and humidifier. They explained it all to me and how to help do the annual filter maintenance.Finally, Steve came out and help with my toilet issue. He was amazing explained so many things about what I needed to do. What I could and should do and advised get scheduled for some inspections!I will definitely be utilizing all their services again. All the members were super personal and did not judge when I asked some pretty ridiculous questions to understand what was/ should / or will be done.

Absolutely top-notch! I could not be more pleased with Burton. From the service tech to the comfort specialist to the install crew, to the concierge… these guys were fabulous. Our AC was starting to be less and less effective and finally kicked the bucket on the first of the two hottest days of the year. Burton got us to the top of the list for a brand new unit the very next morning. I was prepared to have to wait until next month, with all the shortages and delays of 2021. But the stars aligned and we now have a beautiful new, efficient HVAC and don’t have to endure 90 degrees inside. A banana on the counter essentially melted from the inside out. My floors were even sweating. 😂I’m around a lot of service companies that are less than impressive… but I could not be happier! I will be referring my clients to these guys without hesitation. HUGE thank you to these folks!

We used Burton to install a Level 2 charging station and new wiring for an electric vehicle in our detached garage. The electricians were easy to work with, showed up on time and very clear in communication and handling expectations. The work was done in a high quality manner. Modern approaches like signing the contract and paying via their iPad were nice touches as well.

Scheduling through Burton has been a bit of a pain these past few months but once here, the service has been great.He identified issues with our system and promptly supplied estimates and fixes. Knowledgeable, he answered my questions with ease. Friendly too.

Burton took care of my home! They installed new circuits so my appliances weren’t all working on just one! Gave me a bigger and more upgraded circuit box! Shawn was super helpful. We lost water pressure in the house due to a water softener fail. He came after hours and did a minor fix to get us through the night. I had a WONDERFUL experience with JJ Williams & Derek Martin. They came out and did a thorough inspection of our stuff for us, inside and out. They were polite, upbeat, and very easy to communicate with. They did a great job representing Burton and I hope next time we make a service call we can expect to have them again!

First of all, Burton was able to send a tech out much faster than other businesses I contacted. The tech I met, Frank Christensen, was knowledgeable, professional and very honest. I was told by Frank that I needed a new system installed because mine was outdated and going out. He set up a salesman, Ken Horton, to come out within the hour. Ken is a stand up guy and I trusted him quickly. He worked with me and explained everything to a T. We came to an agreement and he set up an install team to come out the very next day. The install team, Dillon, Travis, and the team leads name escapes me and I’m sorry for that but he was awesome. They were in and out in a day, which was amazing. They left my property as clean as they found it. From start to finish, the whole process was easy and worth every penny. Thanks Burton team!

Jake did an outstanding job in opening a very stubborn kitchen drain. I believe he went above and beyond his duties to get the job done. Jake is polite and likeable and I would recommend him for his thoroughness in his job.

I suppose my experience was alright for the first 30 minutes after the tech left. Just a whopping $5000 bill for a water heater replacement. A swift kick in the teeth but I hadn’t showered in several days and Burton had the earliest available appointment I could find.But 30 minutes after the tech left, I joined a Zoom call for work where a coworker of mine coincidentally was having his water heater replaced at the exact same time by a competing company. For $3200 less than what I paid. No joke. $1800 for the exact same model of water heater. Had I not been so desperate for a shower, I might have Googled around to find out that a typical 50 gallon water heater goes for like $800 retail and paused before forking over 5 grand.Every person in the conference call started sharing their Burton horror stories of being raked over the coals financially or being lied to about the severity of their repair just so the tech could pad the bill. I started asking around and literally every person I know who has called Burton has had an awful experience.Many spoofed their jingle: “Wallet’s hurtin? Don’t call Burton.”And I don’t think I could say it any better than that.

Brian and Justin installed an air conditioner and furnace in about 6 hours. They were polite, courteous, and professional. But the best thing was they knew the system very well. Definitely appreciate the level of knowledge and professionalism from these two and everyone else I’ve had contact with at Burton!

While the first techs to arrive and open main sewer line drain were fast and friendly, and the actual repair team seemed to do a good job replacing the drain line under the street. I was told that the crew that put the new concrete back in the street to finish the repair job might be a few day away as they were behind on some other jobs. It was over a month later before the they put down the new concrete to finish the job. I had to make several phone calls to Steve each week and was told the same thing each time , that the crew would be out in the next couple of days or the first part of next week. Then Steve tells me that the city inspector wants 2 feet of dirt removed, I asked why 2 feet, Steve did not know. I checked with the city inspector and he said no, only 2 inch of dirt to be removed. That is a huge difference. I had to call Steves boss, Bruce to get things moving. One last thing Steve would not give his bosss phone number, I had to call the main office and then they would not give me his number either . They said they would let him know , and that he would call me.

Johnny was awesome. He was fast but thorough. He showed me how to clean my outside unit. Since I hadn’t had it serviced in a couple of years, I asked him to do the cleaning. He was willing to show me how to do it, when I asked, but I realized I didn’t want to risk hooking the wires up wrong.

Justin arrived promptly and did a thorough evaluation of system. Provided photos of system and trouble spots requiring cleaning/attention. Very efficient and thorough as well as personable! Very satisfied with service provided!!

Have (now had) a VIP membership with Burton. Part of the VIP program they offer a free plumbing inspection. There were a few things that I wanted done so I was able to get a free estimate by doing the inspection. The cost for the plumbing work I wanted was nearly $1,800.00. Before deciding, I wanted to compare prices with other plumbing companies but most require a $50-$70 fee just to come out and do an estimate. Companies like this do this so they deter customers getting a second estimate and therefore jack the price up. I found another plumbing company in Omaha that had 5 star rating and offered free estimates without any VIP membership and the cost of the same repairs was about 1/3 the cost of Burton’s. In addition, every time Burton has schedule a day and time frame to come out they have yet to come out the day or time that was originally scheduled and always had to reschedule to another day.

Dereck was very personable, professional and let us know what was going on during the entire A/C yearly check. He advised I was using the most expensive filters that were actually not beneficial to my unit, allergies or wallet. He found an issue that he was able to corrected the same day (and a day that was extremely hot) and helped to resolve a noise issue with the unit. I would request him to come out in the winter to check the furnace.

Friendly and knowledgeable. Not pushy, not expensive. What more could you want?

I was visiting my elderly father after coming from out of town. I called Burton at the last minute after I noticed an issue at his house. They had an opening the same day and sent Shawn Nelson to fix the original issue and install a new water heater. He was very responsive, pleasant and professional. He was super patient with my 93 year old father’s constant questions. I felt good leaving the next morning knowing that everything was taken care of and Dad wouldn’t have to worry about any more issues.

These guys were awesome! They were super friendly and worked hard to get everything done that I asked. I got an appointment for a quote the day that I called and the work was done the next day! They didnt rush the job, they made sure everything was done right and done the best way that they could do it! They made a 4-way switch work that we couldnt figure out for months. They also installed the wiring and hookup for the hot tub were getting. I would 100% use them again and refer them to everyone I know! Four guys came to my house, Jesse for the quote and Alex and two other whos names I forgot 🤦. They all went above and beyond to make sure everything was done and I was happy with the work!

At the time of my meeting with Andy I was not ready to have work done, but I was impressed with the meeting and I will definitely call Burton/Andy to complete required work.

Bill was extremely professional and polite. Made sure he did a very thorough job.

Update: we use Burton’s VIP plan, and am happy with it. Our latest person doing the planned maintenance (Quintin O’Toole) was friendly, on time and professional. He did a good job of explaining recommended maintenance and giving costs & benefits.

James led the install of our new system and he and his partner made sure we were 100% comfortable and prepared to take care of and work with the new equipment. We were told the installation team would wear shoe booties and masks and they did not. The carbon monoxide detectors went off for about an hour during the installation and they didn’t come talk to us about it. My family had to leave the house because we started getting headaches. When the installation team left there was a dead patch of grass in our yard where they had thrown the old equipment out of the house. A humidifier was installed and the bypass vent for the hot water heater goes straight across the front so it is difficult to remove the cover and replace the filter in the humidifier. They quoted us an OPPD rebate amount but we received $100 less than what we were quoted. There were a lot of issues and it has now been over a month after our install and no one has reached out to us about the installation. We had called our salesperson a week and half after installation and shared this feedback and he said he would give us a $100 visa gift card since we were unsatisfied and he would follow up the next day. We have not received the gift card and still no one has contacted us about the installation. Very disappointed in the service we have received.

I had two outdoor outlets installed. They were quick to respond and get the job done. I was given time estimates of a month from other companies and Burton got it done in 2 days.They were more expensive than other quotes I got but they were alot quicker.Cons- the lady that answers the phone and initially sets up my initial visit could be nicer. I was told Id have to pay $80 for a diagnostic visit. The diagnosis was ... I needed outlets. She did waive the $80 after I told her No & Goodbye. Good choice or I would have spent my $$$ elsewhere.

The Burton Professional was very explanatory with what needed to be done. He showed great customer service. I would recommend him to anyone.

Our furnace was going out quick (and the AC was not looking great, either). We contacted them and set up replacements within a very short time. They arrived on-time, and left before the projected end-time. While here, they inquired about pets, they respected my desire for quieter work during a period that I had to work at home, they always wore their booties, and were very thorough in cleaning up and making sure I understood how everything worked. A+ people!

Brian and Herschel were totally professional. They hauled out the old system, replaced it with a new one, cleaned the place so it looked better than when they arrived, and were very courteous and friendly the whole time.Burton did all of this just a day after my old system died in me, just in time for Memorial Day. Couldnt be happier.Edit: Even after there were some issues getting my new thermostat connected to my Wifi, Eric let me turn it in for a refund and had a tech come out to install one that I purchased myself. The whole system runs great.

Ross was very professional! He shared the facts that he found the good, bad, and ugly with our unit! He worked with us to decide the best options to replace here and now and then helped us know what will likely be coming in the future as far as AC cost! Great experience!

Michael came out and did an inspection. He went above and beyond and gave us a clear picture of what was going on with our heater and air conditioning systems. He personally showed us what was wrong with both, and had great energy. Then Ryan came by to price things for us.
