HORRIBLE! They give you specific dates and times for maintenance to fix certain issues in your home but NEVER fix those problems until months later. Even if it’s IMPORTANT! I emailed and called them countless of times regarding a current issue in my townhome(apartment). They barely answer or get back with me. And when they do, they give me a SPECIFIC date and time when maintenance would come and fix the discrepancy but they NEVER come. This pattern been going on consistently for nearly a month in a half. But still, they expect for the rent to be paid on time.. If you are one day late, you’ll get a late fee of nearly $100.. It’s basically their way or the highway. At least that’s how it feels. It’s completely unfair. I’m just being honest !

Had black mold in my apartment. Maintenance and front desk said it was from the ceiling collecting rain water. A year later when the lease was broke they were renovating apartments and all of the fixtures they tore out had black mold growing behind them. They did nothing for the complaints. It cost me many hospital and vet visits as it caused me and my dog both many breathing issues. Also got my car towed from my own designated spot when my parking pass was shown, and a visitor spot.

Terrible customer service. Over priced for what it is. If you have visitors come on a Friday night, they will be towed Saturday morning. We actually got towed from our DESIGNATED PARKING SPOT because our parking pass fell. Even though our tag number is registered to the parking spot. The Tow company the apartment complex has a contract with is very unprofessional & quite rude. Front office rarely answers phones. We got this apartment because we are military & it’s close to base. We would have been better off buying a house vs coming to this place. The neighbors are nice though! Minus the occasional parking spot stealers. They really need to fix their parking issue. Good luck to whoever chosen to stay here! I’m glad we’re getting out of here!

My family and I are coming up on 2 years living here at Dundale Square. We rent one of the 3bdrm town homes. Very spacious and comfortable. The complex is very nice and has a multi-cultural community. The staff at Dundale are very professional and nice people. Would definitely recommend others to check out!

I have been living in the apartment complex for 4 years longer than I had expected; however, its a quiet neighborhood with a mix community. Its peaceful, no loud music or any type of destruction around the complex. Everyone keeps to themselves and we are allow to have pets which is great. I will be honest the parking lot can be a hassle but hopefully in the future there will be a change in the community. But overall I enjoy living here :)

Management is fantastic and works with you no matter the problem. Parking is terrible but I heard that it will be fixed. The laundry situation is pretty bad and needs to be fixed. I liked living here but there needs to be a lot more amenities if they want to keep people.

Is the worst apartment complex in Norfolk Va. They have one parking place per apartment, and they tow all the cars that have no parking pass, even in the visitor parking and future resident parking. So if you are park in future resident and are becoming future resident expect to have your car towed by the time you come out of the office! If you have family coming to visit expect to park over half a mile away to walk to you families apartment. So if you like not having any were to park and plan on only having one vehicle and car pulling every day this is the perfect place for you.

Horrible experience. Literally the worst place I’ve EVER lived at. If you have a major problem they WILL turn around like nothing is going on but they are QUICK to charge you. Horrible parking, loud neighbors, HORRIBLE LAUNDRY ROOM. They spend all their money in marketing to get people in instead of spending it in things for the community like FIXING the issues. I CAN’T wait to get out of this place. I’m usually not the one who leaves reviews, but this time I believe it was appropriate after all the calls and no response given by them.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! NOT WORTH THE TIME, MONEY, OR HEADACHE..1. NO PARKING. (Assigned parking spots which will only allow for 1 assigned parking spot per apartment) Therefore, if you have more than ONE CAR THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. If you have guest and they park in a visitors parking spot without a parking pass THEY WILL BE TOWED..2. NO AMINITIES. No swimming pool, no fitness center..NOTHING TO OFFER RESIDENTS.3. EXPENSIVE. Rent prices don’t match what they have to offer. Apartments are small, no upgrades (outdated)When they find out you are moving they will start hitting your account for miscellaneous fees, they will look for any reason to charge a fee because you have decided to not renew your lease..If you don’t have money to give away, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU..

My experience living here has been full of ups and downs. My husband is in the military and it was convenient finding somewhere affordable and not too far from base. However, before we moved in there were already issues. We made a mistake moving from one Lawson company apartment to the next; knowing their other complex was horrible when we stayed there. Our move in date was pushed back a few days due to the residents not wanting to move out although they said they would by a certain date, which I know that is not entirely the management offices fault but it was huge inconvenience and we still had to wait for them to fix the apartment. Our pushed back move in date finally came around and we were still almost not able to get in because of the weather, but it took forever to get ahold of them and we had all of our things with no place to go. The first week living here my car was towed because I was unaware/not informed of the parking situation. We didn’t receive our car stickers, so I had to pay for that, unexpectedly. Parking is one of the main reasons we want to move out, because almost every couple or roommates have more than one car and it is nearly impossible to find a second spot when you work past five p.m. or on weekends. The parallel parking overall needs to be thrown out, because it doesn’t work well. Water can be pretty high most months even though we barely use water unless we are showering or washing a few dishes. It’s ridiculous most months. If anything needs to be taken care of immediately or soon, it seems as if they put the notice on your door the day of or a few days too late, which screws people over.On the bright side, the office staff is nice and professional. The maintenance staff are great and work diligently. Most problems get fixed really fast. The neighborhood is very quiet. Rent was affordable. I say was because our lease is almost up and we received the notice about how rent would go up if we chose to stay. An up charge of around $100. Which is ridiculous considering the area and the circumstances of the apartment.I would recommend to live here if you live alone or have one car and have lots of patience. Onsite washer and dryers, which are very convenient. Also, there are storage units under or next to your apartment which saves us a lot of money because we have a lot of stuff. Everyone keeps to their self and they are polite. Large dumpsters conveniently located on all four corners of the neighborhood. You can pay your rent online or by check which is convenient. There are hardwood floors everywhere except the bedrooms (in the unit we have) which is great and easier to clean. Spacious kitchen also.

After Syreeta left earlier this year, the new property manager, Priscilla was terrible. She talked about my apartment balance and the pending eviction in front of other residents with an attitude. She also posted my rent to someone elses account. She was rude, constantly leaving work early or coming late and refused to talk about account issues with me. I was very ready to pack up and leave. The only reason I stayed was the great customer service of Melissa, the leasing agent and the maintenance staff. Im glad Priscilla left. In Priscillas absence, Melissa worked to correct the mistakes on my account and was very open to communication.

I lived here for 2 years and this is the worst place I lived in. There is never any parking, the front office will do absolutely nothing when neighbors hit cars and run away, even though they park right back next to you and they ask for everyones insurance info. The maintenance took 8 MONTHS to fix my stove, the front desk lady REFUSES TO TALK BY E-MAIL and i had to take off early from work to talk with her before 5pm. I guess she was about to lie about the issue i had and she didnt want any printed evidence. The rent is super high even though there are AR-15 shootings every weekend starting 8 pm (weektime you might hear only small guns) and there are no washer/drier dish washer microwave or sink grinder. After it snowes they never send anyone to clean the roads or sidewalks. The garbage truck got stuck in snow 5 DAYS after it snowed in 50 F weather. They promised me the place doesnt flood but IT FLOODS. The swear is not too bad, but they wont send anyone to reek the leaves blocking it.There are a couple of neighbors that run a from home babysitting and all that means is that they each take money to over watch 8 kids and just kick them outside without any supervision while they hit cars with bikes and soccer balls.LAST BUT NOT LEAST! be careful because they will try to show you an apartment with a nice view saying that the similar one you will get is not ready yet and after you sign the lease they will put you in the apartment with windows facing the highway wall and all youll see for a year is a gray wall. Plus the highway noise can be heard from the entire complex at night and mornings, in the day you cant hear it because of the unattended screaming kidsEdit: They replied to my review to make it look like they are trying to fix stuff, but my car is still damaged and my money still gone.
