I purchased a certified 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan. The car was sold to me on a context that the car is certified. The car has issues like leaking oil in my garage. The car stinks of cigarette every time I enter in the car in the morning. My 3 year old boy got sick and I still use my old car to drop my kid to daycare. I got it cleaned by them and still it has the bad stink.

Start to finish was the best car buying experience I have ever been through. I a going to be 69 years old and cant remember how many cars I have purchased. Paid full website price and offered me $4k less than what I actually sold my trade in for. Buyer beware they will not honor website price and the Volkswagens 0% financing. Its one or the other which is not stated on their website. It felt like bait and switch.The manager Mike was cocky and rude. Aaron was courteous and got me in and out without waiting around all day, thank you. Overall I would not send a friend here to buy a car because of the Manager Mike.

Came to Hawk on 6/7/2016 after a terrible time with Carmax of Tinley Park. My salesman was Alexander whom honestly took off everything he said and that we mentioned over the phone. He had the car fully ready and presentable for the road test once I got there. He streamlined the process so a ton of my time wasnt taken. And he also did not push too hard on options I didnt want. Bought a brand new car almost 2 months ago. The buying process was smooth and steady! Andrew was a great and insightful salesman! My family and I will be going through him for all of our car needs. My issue is the post buying process. I got the simonize package for my 2021 Tiguan, and they never once called to try and set up the appointment. Every time I call to try and set it up I keep getting told to call back at a later time or date. I’m paying on this package and I’ve had the car nearly two months so I am really let down that I haven’t been able to bring my car in yet. I guess the overly friendly and helpful staff that got me through the buying process outweighs the lack of support you get post sale. Overall a good place

I bought a 2020 Jetta r-line about a week ago and when I was purchasing it, I noticed a scratch near my windshield. When I asked them if there was anything they could do about it, they said they could try buffing it out, but the guy who does it wasn’t there and to come back another day. When I came back, I was told by the manager “we already tried buffing it out before you left and that’s all we could do” mind you, I don’t live close so it took about 3 hours to go there and back for nothing. They didn’t make any attempt to fix it. The manager brushed it off, and it felt like he was just pushing me out because the sale was already made. Also, I was told the previous owner would return the spare key and when I emailed about it, I got no response. It’s unfortunate because I brought my boyfriend to look at one of their cars since my experience with Aaron was great, but because of this incident, I don’t recommend.

During this pandemic, Hawk Volkswagen of Joliet took a step above the other dealerships in the area! Hawk VW is running an antibacterial detail special for VW vehicles for only $49.99! With that price, it showed that this dealership cared about their customers and their safety! With so many people losing their jobs, that price is just amazing! The employees did a great job with my Beetle! I have 2 Chihuahuas, one short-haired & one long-haired. Their hair is so hard to get off the seats and, the detailing team got 99% of the hair out! Also, They cleaned it so well I dont smell that Crayon smell that some older VW gets overtime! The employees are very nice! Tony was a great help! He broke down everything clearly to the questions I had and really helped me out! Overall, I give this dealership an A+ and will be bringing my car back for more services! I will be recommending this dealership to my friends!

I just purchased a 2018 certified pre-owned Tiguan with Aaron. He was extremely sensitive to my needs, my timing, and my budget. He did everything in his power to make sure I walked out of there with the car that I wanted! I appreciated how responsive he was via email and text when I had additional questions before purchasing. Im a huge VW fan from way back and have been a Hawk fan for many years. Why? Because their great customer service continues long after the sale. One day I was having trouble starting my car. Worried that it might not start while out shopping, I called the service department. Tony determined it was the battery. He had me come right in and in hardly no time I was on my way with a new battery! Thats the kind of service that keeps me coming back. Thank you, Tony and everyone at Hawk!

I purchased a new 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport from Hawk. We researched 8 dealers within a 100 mile radius and found that Hawk was unbeatable in price. Their staff are courteous and friendly and very easy to work with because they are fair and not out to get you. Our dealer was Aaron and we dealt with Sam who is the sales manager. They were the best. They gave us the price we asked for and treated us great. I will be a repeat customer and recommend Hawk to friends and family.

Service guy promises things and doesn’t deliver. “I’ll have this part in two days” takes two weeks. Mostly minor inconveniences, but consistently experienced. Get it serviced for warranty elsewhere, too much nonsense and rescheduling here.

Damage on brand new car. No other VW has done this. Do nOt Come AT ALL!
