This is the place that Jiffy Lube claims to be but isnt. Friendly staff, they actually do the stuff they say they will on the wall, and very quick. Oil change takes less then 10 mins every time Ive gone there and thats been about 5 times now... love this place

I went here for an oil change and had a great experience. The guys were all really nice. My car was in and out within 30 minutes and they didnt try to upcharge me or suggest things that I didnt need. They also gave me a coupon for the next time. I recommended it to my son and he also went there and had a good experience. I love supporting local businesses.

Great mechanic. My parents have used them for years and I recently bought a car so I now use them as well. I just took my car in for an oil change and I was in and out of there in 15 minutes. They checked all fluids, topped off my windshield wash, topped off my tires and cleaned my windshield. It only cost about $40.

I will never go anywhere else. The guys are great, service is fast and efficient, and no one I know has ever had issues with their service. I never have to wait long, and I get good advice even when Im not going to have the work done right away - they take the time to explain what is going on and what I can expect down the road. I usually dont write reviews, but this place needs a standing ovation. Today I went to view used cars and I was looking at a 2006 P.T cruiser. When the dealership let me take it for a test drive, I took it to Sooper Lube to get it checked out to be sure it was a good deal. There, the mechanic not only told me the belt was bad, he also showed me why. He took me under the car and let me listen to the sound it was making, and he showed me a video about belts and what they should and shouldnt do! Their prices are beyond reasonable. I am going to bring my car back there for servicing simply based on the amazing customer service they showed me. I highly recommend this place.

I have never been treated with anything but friendliness and kindness by all the staff here. They joke around a lot, but they know their stuff. Any problem I have ever had with my car they have been able to fix quickly and for a reasonable price.

Honest and reliable. They gave me a quote which was under another companys estimate and when I picked up my car it was $60 less than the estimate they quoted me. How many places would do that? Chuck also does a good job of explaining everything...pleasant personlity, good staff.

I have been going to Sooper Lube as long as I can remember (around 20 years). Even when I moved to Buffalo Grove I would come back to Joliet to go to them. They never try to pressure sell things to you or tell you that you need things you dont. I have never had a bad experience and throughout the years all of their employees have been fantastic. The owner Chuck is a great guy who will work with you. I had problems with headlights shorting out and he changed the one so much (because the dealership kept saying there was nothing wrong) there was a time they didnt charge me for labor. I have also had my brakes done by them on cars many times. Great work on both sides of the shop!

Quick, friendly and knowledgeable.

Came to Sooper Lube for a basic oil change. I pulled my car into the garage got out of my vehicle and sat down inside the business about six feet away from my car. One of the men opend the hood of my car. While I was waiting three employees walking back and forth looking under the hood of my car I wasnt sure what was going on I figured if it was a problem they would tell me but no one said anything. then they all took turns trying to get something loose from underneath my hood. Thirty min later one employees came to me and said the cover of the oil filter had broking but they ordered another one he said it should be there soon I said ok.then 10 min later Another employee aproched me and told me I hade to pay 50.00 dollars to replace the top of the filter. He said the person who changed my oil befor put the cap on to tight. I told him I dont feel I should have to pay for it and he got upset and told me that I am going to pay for it. I called the police the cop agreed with the employee that I should pay to replace my cap, the cop said he also gets his oil change at Sooper lube and that rings like this happen sometime . They flushed my engineering twice because pieces of the broken cap feel into my engin. So I paid 79.70 for an oil cage and 54.36 for a filter cap. I feel that if they could not remove my cap why would you still keep trying. I dont feel like Im responsible for this repair. I was told to get my car towed or pay for a new filter by the guy who drives the big white truck with the big tires I have pictures on yelp
