Wow. There is a major car shortage across the country and Thrifty is not prepared nor transparent. Scheduled my reservation for 12-1230 and have waited over an hour and still waiting for my car. Just say that you don’t have cars available next time before I waste half my day at the airport. Garbage customer service too

Horrible experience. I had reserved a car 2 weeks ago, only to arrive at a counter that was not staffed. Sign said to use Hertz counter so I did. After waiting for 2 hours, it was announced that Hertz was overbooked and not honoring any Thrifty reservations. I was stuck at the airport for 4 hours with no rental, as all the other rental agencies were overbooked.

Arrived at the airport went to pick up my car. Thrifty counter closed , says go to hertz counter. Hertz counter closed. There was no one there. Called Thrifty and said here to pick up my car rented weeks prior and no one here. His solution was to refund my money. Explained I’m at the airport with no means of travel and need the car.He said nothing he could do. How’s that for having a reservation.

Their handling of overflow from storm Ida was sometimes overwhelming for staff and clients . Patience and perseverance was greatly needed. Vehicle provided was exceptional.

Buyer beware! Deceptive practices are in play. If you value your money spend it elsewhere. I have just spent 4 days of my life on the phone with these idots. Thrifty overcharged me and I keep getting the same spiel. Their first tatctic is to convince the customer that they (the customer) overlooked a charge. Then they add an additional charge. Finally when you request to speak with a supervisor, the supervisors are busy and will return your call. Well no one has returned my call. It appears that Thrifty is running a scam! I will never rent from these thieves ever again.

Amazing customer service from the Hertz team. My reservation was for Thrifty and Ms Reneisha promptly greeted me as I approached the thrifty rental window she explained that they can assist the thrift reservation. Once I returned Gredda greeted with the dane enthusiasm, my transaction was concluded with positive conversation with Gredda and Mytoyios. Thank you all.

Wow! Had a rental reservation for 7pm, one hour before closing, and they had already closed shop when I walked in at 7:03pm. They are supposed to be open from 8am-8pm. Really Thrifty? Work ethic out the window.

I have been a blue-chip member for almost two years. I have never had a problem with thrifty rep before until last week. Rep Thamas swears she is the manager of thrifty. She is unprofessional. She has in her pretty little head that Thrifty belongs to her. On last week I rented a car and she had me waiting for over an hour on a car that I did not reserve. Then she says that Management just pass down that if you dont come and get the vehicle at a certain time then the customer has to wait. Then today I went to pick up a reservation again..her response today was they are only giving prepaid customers.I have been renting from Thrifty for over 2 years because I travel with my Mime Ministry. It is sad that Thamas makes Thrifty looks bad. The company is good but the worker Thamas needs to be replaced or retrained or go clean the cars out.I had problems with her before overcharging my card then when I walked back in she had the correct total wrote down with it circled. I have proof if that and have emails where customer service fixed it.I have no problem with any other of the Reps but Ms. Wannabe Thrfty Owner.And I will continue to use Thrifty despite of Thamas. Some people just doesnt have any people skills no matter how much training they receives.

They do a good job. The last car I rented had some superficial body damage. They made a note of it. Also one tire only had 12 lbs of air. They let me take it that way. I had to fill the tire up.

Hertz and its sister company, Thrifty, has some of the WORST customer service Ive ever seen!The location at JAN-EVERS AIRPORT doesnt even have a local phone number at the counter so you cant contact them for local questions including inventory and altered business hours.The service agent at the airport seemed annoyed to be doing a job that she applied for...just lazy and RUDE.

I picked up a car in Jackson Mississippi I was not happy with the first one. The personnel were more than happy to accommodate me with a better car for the same amount of money in the same class. I was local staying the first night so they told me that I could pick up another car tomorrow because they were low on vehicles. Thats a fair and reasonable deal as far as Im concerned . Like on Seinfeld they took the reservation and they actually held the reservation. Im a big guy so the first car wasnt a good fit however I asked for an economy. The girls behind the counter was so nice like they usually are in the south. I thank them. I went back when leaving after I drop the car off and neither of the girls were there because I wanted to thank them again for all their help.

We rented a vehicle from Thrifty for an employee in Jackson Ms in order for him to attend our training in Memphis Tn. We filled out all the paperwork and explained to Thrifty employee (James) at the service counter that the employee would need to be added to the car. However he was not there on the day we rented the car but he could bring the car back on the following day to be added. James said that would be fine.We brought the car back to Thrifty the next day for him to be added only to be told that I would need to be there to add him. Jamess information as a company representative was very inaccurate. We returned the car and have been charged for 1 day rental due to their mistake. The car would only have had 20 miles on it.When we called customer service the lady was not helpful at all. She listened to my story and responded with the fact we had the car for 1 day and would Thrifty not refund our money. I warned her that I would be leaving my side of the story on Google with a 1 star review. She did not seem to care at all.They have no idea what customer service is or how to achieve it at all. I will never use Thrifty or Hertz car rental for our business again in the future.

Worst experience ever!!! I rented a car and went out of town and upon returning back home the car stopped in the middle of traffic. The engine over heated and it locked and the car completed cut off. Road service was able to help and another Thrifty in LA was able to provide an exchange car (took 2 1/2 hours to get a tow truck and a LYFT driver to pick us up to get the exchange car. I made it to the airport to return the car and went to the counter. The associate at the counter was extremely rude! Her approach was strong. Stating it wasnt their fault that I have to contact someone us. She didnt apologize about giving me a car that could have possible injured us. I will never rent from them again and I hope you guys will not give them your service as well.

Thrifty Rental Booth in Jax, MS was so kind, & compassionate after a nightmare flight. Eazee Peezy car pick up & return. The car was very clean with no problems at all. Plus, loved your gas program that allows u to pay for gas up front, without having to find a station. Keep it rolling Thrifty.

I would give negative stars if I could for their dishonesty in treating my friend. I prepaid for a car for my friend, whose English is only conversational, and they ended charging my friend all the insurances and fuel which my friend declined in person. Basically lying their way through and taking advantage of someone that they knew could not read the whole contract. What a despicable way of conducting business.

Short story. Dropped car off at 1pm less than 5 min later returned because I left my wallet in car. Employee acted like he never saw us and asked for contract which he never gave back to us said he couldnt help. Had to get police involved because employees were not helpful at all and treated us like we were annoying them.Had to file a formal police report because I never got wallet back which had all my ids and cash.
