I rented a car from the JAN airport. The associate was professional and courteous. However, I later discovered my car didnt have a car tag nordid my rental agreement associate me with the model car. To make matters worse, I had a one way rental to Texas so I was in a dilemma. I called into Alamo customer service at least 10 times, spoke with the Escalations and Roadside to no avail. I was blind-transferred, hung up on , and just shocked at the poor service. I hope this isnt the beginning of Alamo becoming too large and dis-jointed from its customers. I simply needed a rental agreement to tie my credentials to the vehicle and no one was able to help me. They finally offered me roadside assistance to switch out the car but they could only estimate it might be a 2 hour delay which would have made me miss the purpose of my travels. Hopefully this is a one-time situation.

The staff was kind. I rented in the Special class - meaning theyll surprise you. Well my surprise was a mini van. In a normal case this would have been a firm NO but it actually worked great as I was in town to visit family and wanted to spend time with the little ones. We were all able to pile into the luxury mini van and hit the road! It was a great experience.

The car I pick out was not filled op with gas, only having a quarter tank. The manager credited me for the gas so I was very pleased with the service. The Chrysler 300S was a great car with a smooth ride and super responsive engine. Didnt matter what speed I was doing if I mashed the gas pedal the car jumped in speed. Heated seats came in very handy given that temps were below 35 the whole week I had the car.

The service was excellent! I had a very different experience in a different city in the region (also different company) but the service provided at the Jackson MS, airport was awesome. Super courteous & accommodating staff and the process couldn’t have been easier! Very impressed!

I have the best times when pick up a car or truck with this company . It is truly the best no matter when I need a car. Thank you guys your the best

The selection of vehicles was great. The people working there were very helpful and friendly. The only problem I had was that the car smelled of smoke. Since it was only a one day rental we decided to just use the car but had it been more than one day we wouldnt have rented it.

I have rented from Alamo before with no problems. My most recent visit I was told that I could not use my credit card to cover insurance on the car. I had to purchase your insurance. I do have personal liability insurance but was told my insurance had to be full coverage. This would have been good to know before I arrived.

I feel I was completely “ripped off”. I did not have any experience in renting vehicles until I had to due to a emergency. For a week the car was 572.00. Now have a rental with Enterprise and have a great deal.*** they are the same company, so ridiculous. I do not recommend.

I always receive great customer service when ai rent from Alamo. The cars are always clean and ready for pick up.

It would be 5 stars but I dont like the fact that its a 200$ deposit now. Once I returned the car I had several different holds on my credit card. But overall there customer service is awesome and quick.

I had a very late arrival (actually, airline had several delays), the representative was very nice & pleasant. She made my tiring night full of energy. Next day, I went back for a request & spoke with a different representative on day shift. He was very accommodating & made my transaction with him sooo smooth. This was my first using this company. The cost to rent was reasonable plus, they gave me an option to what kind of car Id like to use once I got there ( since its so late & the company where I booked the car & flight didnt tie it together. The agent basically stayed over for late flight as its their policy. She has no idea that I have a booking with them). I would definitely use them again from now on & Ill do a direct booking next time.

Excellent customer service at the Alamo Jackson Mississippi car rental. The car was very clean and had lots of space. Easy drop off service when arriving early morning.

I was extremely pleased with my interaction with Alamo car rental. The rental cost was reasonable. The $200.00 deposit kinda threw me, but Jessica at the counter made that less painful. The Grand Cherokee I was given, was a joy to drive. Im over six feet, and I had enough legroom!Returning the vehicle was a breeze.As it stands, I will ALWAYS rent from Alamo.UPDATE: I have been VERY disappointed with the last times Ive rented from Alamo The last three rentals, my experience has been less the pleasant. The employees in the garage gave been unprofessional This last time was hortible. My rating now goes from 5 to 2 stars.

I cannot believe how much Alamo has changed since the last time I rented from them in 2010. When checking in, I was given a vehicle that had been washed, but not dried off afterward. As a result, there was dries soap residue all over the car. I pointed that out to the service attended who then told me to select another vehicle. I found 2 or 3 more in the same condition, though not as severe and asked if I could have one of those instead. I was told that I would have to upgrade since they were in a different class. What a scam!At check out, I was assigned a car with its fuel gauge barely registering 1/2 and when I return it at 3/4, I was charged for not returning it at 4/4. Geez Alamo...seriously?Also was charge a totally different amount other then what I was quoted Had to file a dispute with my credit card issuer in order to get the difference refunded. The only positive aspect of this rental was that I was given a brand new car with less that 800 miles on it and it performed accordingly...hence the one-star rating Even with that, I wont be returning to Alamo.

Upgrade made for a most enjoyable trip through Jackson, Vicksburg and Hattiesburg, Mississippi. We didnt find the fob in the car. When we returned, the agent efficiently found the fob and we were off on a wonderful trip. The car and Alamo agents were excellent.

I recently rented a midsize car with a free upgrade to standard. Options were Ford Fusion or Chysler 200.I choose the Ford Fusion. Best decision ever. It was a hybrid with all the bells and whistles. It was a joy to drive and very good on gas. Friendly people. Great price. Made my trip even better. I have rented several times. And will again.

I enjoy renting from alamo, however, my past 4 experiences they didnt have but one choice of car. I switched from enterprise to alamo because I would like to choose my car type. I am thinking of returning to enterprise if I cant have a selection at alamo, and also alamo has started charging a $200 deposit, would have been nice to receive an email on that change rather than finding out at the rental counter.

Rental of a vehicle is fine as long as you dont rent a car seat or need the bill fixed. Child seats are not safety compliant and any adjustment to your bill takes forever
