First the cigarette lighter fuse was blown so I didnt know until my phone died. Then my windshield was covered in bugs and I turned on the wipers to wash the windshield and it had no window wash in it so the bugs was smeared all over the window in the middle of the night and I couldnt see. To top it all off I was going to rent the car one more day and they wanted to charge me a additional 300 dollars deposit.

First and foremost, the folks helping me were very professional! Only reason you got 2.The process deserves a 1 star.I arrived to pick up my vehicle at the time on my rental agreement only to wait nearly 45 minutes before I was told a car in the class I reserved was unavailable and only large SUVs were available, but I would incur the upgrade cost of $44 additional per day.We had a rental agreement that was NOT fulfilled as promised.Side note on this location.Sketchy to say the least.I observed a young man with what appeared to be a large hand gun hanging out of his saggy pants, and the accompanying older female with what again appeared to be, a semi automatic rifle in her lap.They appeared to be exchanging rental vehicles.UPDATE: Customer service responded wanting more information. I provided more information directly = no response. Tisk.

This place is horrible. I left work at for a rental I reserved and called to confirm it was ready before I arrived. The car wasnt ready and they had me wait 2 hours to tell me that they dont have any cars. Then I was informed to come back at 4:35 p.m. only to wait another hour. Their attitudes were horrible. Nonchalant responses to simple questions. The were very unprofessional. Upon returning the car I was accused of dropping a car off while it was running. The young lady pulls up in a car aggressive with her co-workers and ask, did you drop off the car while it was running? I said, no the lights are on automatic they cut off on their own she says, I know. and speeds off. This is horrible

This location on State Street is horrible. I made reservations back in February to pick up for today. I even showed the guy my confirmation with my email and phone number. Only to get here and they tell me they gave my rental to someone else because they called a number that no longer works. I have never had this experience before. They even texted me Monday on the number thats on my reservation. I am scheduled to go out of town tomorrow morning. I wish I could give them zero stars

This place is very bad. You will be waiting for over an hour just to get your vehicle. My reservation was for 12pm. I stood outside for over 2 hrs. The employees didnt ask how we were doing and didnt give any notice. Once I finally go off...they tell me my car never arrived!!! WHY YOU DIDNT TELL ME AT 1200 SO I CAN HAVE THE CHOICE TO STAY OR LEAVE. So they took it upon themselves to leave me outside and wasnt going to say nothing!!!! DO NOT RENT FROM ENTERPRISE!! I have used enterprise for the past several years. My last booking and pick up was not pleasant. I know things are very trying right now but I had reservations and confirmed everything by phone. My pick up time was for 11:30. I received the car at 12:30. There were only 2 other people there ahead of me. I assume that they are working out a lot of kinks with the covid 19 but an hour wait is too long. The people that were working there were very nice but they may need to work out a better system. The car was very nice and clean. I hope my experience will be better next time.

They just rented last van I could give them 300.00 for a suv or wait hours for another location. Reason given AARP gives them no phone no.Very very rude unprofessional “mam if you had put down phone no this would not have happen”AARP does not ask us for no’s.-Totally affected out trip. I had a reservation at thestate street enterprises. They tell me that the car i reserved for that they dont have any many car. So they charge me extra for a upgradebecause they gave my reservation away and charge me more for a upgrade. That shouldhave been free. It wasnt my fault they didnt have any more car left i reserved it a weekhead of time. I dont think that how it goes.If reserved its not fair that I had to pay for upgrade when it wasnt my fault.

Beware. ?!Beware! of that. location. Fraudulent people working there. If you make a decision to get a rental there make sure that you make 360 video. And take a lot of pictures. Otherwise you will be charged for previous damaged caused by somebody else. Them employees over there are not honest and trustworthy. They go out of the way of enterprise way. SoBEWARE

Great costumer service as usual and no problems extending my rental days as needed.Only problem I had is that I wasn’t aware I could drop keys off in drop box on Saturday when I needed to return the car. We usually rent from Byram, MS office and they removed their drop box months before Covid 19 causing me to think all locations had done this. This wound up costing me 2 extra days when I needed that deposit back to pay for repairs on my car plus wound up with car being double insured which I should have checked first.I had a reservation for 9:30 but had to sit outside in the heat for 3 hours which is my feeble excuse for not seeing drop box and people were standing/sitting in front of said box. Will I rent from them again??? Absolutely! They have awesome service and treat you like family!! I took off one star for darn drop box but I’ll know better next time!! No matter what time of day they are always EXTREMELY slow, unorganized, rarely answer the phones. I was given this location by Ford because my car was in the shop for repairs for 3 months and I called prior to arriving to make sure that the had a Ford they assured me that they did but when I arrived they tried to give me a vehicle other than Ford. That reservation took well over an hour to complete. I had to return to update my paperwork and once again an extremely long wait.

I had a good experience. I was able to pick up a vehicle before time because I arrived early due to the Covid-19 pick up policy. My only regret, I was not aware that my check out time would be the same return time. I returned the vehicle according to my original return time. The members were diligently working to get pick ups and returns handled in a timely manner.

I had reservations. I had to call four times to get through to someone. They refused to pick me up five miles away and then made me and others stand outside in the rain while they did the paperwork. I understand wanting to be safe, but at least get a tent or something. Would not rent from them.

Very unprofessional ask me what did I prefer and then give me something else. Overhearing another ask for what I preferred and I had been waiting and hour on insurance claim reserve.Called back on 10-27-2020 and young lady hung up in my face because she was not as helpful as needed her to be.Cause I asked to speak to someone elseShe just hung up in my face Thank God I dont have to return to that location. I had a reservation for 4pm. It was about 6pm before i received my vehicle. Not only did we had to wait outside of the building in which temperature was in the 90s and very humid. It appeared that overbooking had clearly taken place. The explanation i was giving was due to COVID19. Once i received my car marijuana odor was so strong inside the car. I have rented vehicles twice a month since COVID NEVER i had to wait this long for a vehicle. Totally dissatisfied with the service and readiness of the vehicle.

I got into an accident on 8/26 and the next day my insurance called Enterprise and made me a reservation. Its my first time renting a car and I didnt know the conditions. I went there, gave my license and debit card then the worker rudely tells me they cant use my debit card because I have an out of state license. So instead of explaining to me what I can do, she rudely walks away and slams the door in my face. Overall the employees were very rude

Ive had good experiences with Enterprise minus one incident of my returning their car after hours. I was called the next day of having a cracked windshield. This angered me. I inspect the vehicles each time they are turned in however I had no proof because I had no pictures and no one present to check the vehicle back in. Management effort to resolve my issue was compromised with my being listed as just a customer verses one with accountability and integrity. That hurt. This cost me money that I shouldnt have had to pay. I was not guilty of damaging this vehicle. Nevertheless, be certain you take pictures when you pick the vehicle up and drop it off after hours. Try to turn it in during business hours. Your accountability and integrity of being a weekly renter will mean absolutely nothing. I still rent from them because of the convenience and the staff is fabulous minus the Manager and Assist Manager who brushed me off and just wanted the damage paid for.

Worst experience EVER!!!! Trying to make it to my son’s basketball tournament, my pickup time was 11:30. We arrived 11:15 people sitting everywhere outside. After waiting what seemed like forever we asked if we could be given an estimated time we could be ready to go. We was then told that the car we was getting had just left to get an oil change 😳😡😡. It should be another 35-45. It’s been over an hour, they called us to get our information and restated to us about the oil change and to let us know before we can get the car there’s 3 people ahead of us. Never again in life will I come here again. 😡😡😡

Its straight, Ive had a hard time in the past renting from them, but it was mostly due to technicalities in their policies. As long as you know the rules around how to rent a car, like if you have a debit card you need a few months pay stubs and a PAID UP TO DATE utility bill, youll be fine. The staff are nice and the space is clean and comfortable.

I made reservations on 05/22/20 to pick up my rental car on 05/23/20 . I called and spoke with Erin the morning of pickup I advised her that my reservation was at 10 am and I needed to move the time until 12 due to being caught in a storm coming from texas. She said “ ok we will just see you whenever you get here “ very rudely rushing me off the phone . I arrive to the location where there is a line I get out the car and get at the end of the line. She comes outside at about 12:07 and rudely says “are you picking up” I told her yes she reply’s oh well we closed! I told her that I had been out here and she argued with me that I had not. WOW this lady Erin “the manger “ was so unprofessional and rude she didn’t service the customer.She wouldn’t even acknowledge that I was there. I explained that I’m now stranded in Mississippi from texas Trying to get to Alabama! Erin didn’t care not one bit about my situation. This type of representation is unacceptable for a corporation. One employee ruined the experience from renting with enterprise. I waited there an hour as she still serviced other customers but wouldn’t help me. She never acknowledged me once. Another team member said he will try and find me a car but then later came back and said their systems shut down at 12 so they can’t help me. I understand people are tired and may have had a busy day but try to help the customer. Overall it was a very negative experience and caused me to make other arrangement’s. Highly dissatisfied.

I didnt realize how easy it was to rent a car for over a month from Enterprise. I had been having car troubles but then I liked the rental that I got so much that I kept it longer. The staff was always very friendly, I was never put on any long holds either. One thing I did not like was that the cost of the rental went up while I had it.I felt like it could have remained the same since i was obvious that i was interested in keeping it longer and even inquired about purchasing the vehicle. The cost going up is the reason I returned it.

I had a car accident on 3/10/2020 and Enterprise called immediately to pick up a Rental Car. I was greeted by Pharyn-Alexis Thornton. When I say she was very professional, friendly and concerned about me receiving any injuries after my accident. Pharyn had everything ready all I had to do was initial and sign the paperwork and I was out of there in 15 minutes. The car was shiny, clean on the inside and full of gas. My experience was absolutely horrible. I rented from the one on State St. in Jackson, MS. I had to sit outside in the hot sun for 3 hours in a LONG line waiting to pick up my rental car. I have a very strict 1 hour lunch break and had to truly rush to drive and drop my car off at the shop and have enterprise pick me up, take me to their office and assign me a rental car asap- I wanted to take the time to say how friendly all employees were that I interacted with at the 110 south state st, Jackson, Ms site, but particularly i would like to point out Angela Brantley- She was professional, but friendly and handled my needs in lightening fast time and with precision... When it came time to return the car I was so happy to find she was there that day as well and she actually insisted I let her check me out , though another person who was not familiar with my case, could have done it... My experience with Enterprise was good as usual because I have been renting cars from Enterprise for the past 8 years. The State Street location is convenient for me because it is near my residence and work and the major Interstates I-55 and I-20. It was easy to book online and the cars are clean and new and equipped all the modern technology. My only complaint is the time it takes to get in and out. It can take up to an hour to complete your transaction and pick up your rental.

They are okay. They have great customer service. Their prices can often with research be beaten. They are quite high on themselves being the leading car rental business with the best service and such. Their prices often reflect this. When checked against a competitor on a recent last minute trip they were 300 to 500 dollars more and they did not honor their online price in store I was told. So I guess its good to be king.

I was beyond pleased with my March 12th experience at Enterprise. In the day -to-day living I did not remember to reserve my request for a vehicle for this particular day until the morning of the 11th. With that being said when I arrived with my reservation information to pick-up my vehicle there was an unusual line of people.It was the Monday of Spring break. The young lady explained ever so kindly that there were several people ahead of me and the location was waiting on more vehicles to arrive to accommodate our requests. Im happy to report that the wait was not long and I left that day with my vehicle. This was the best customer service under pressure that Ive seen and experience in a long time. I was very upset with my enterprise experience. The people working were very unprofessional. I called to order my rental a week in advance and they got all my information including my last name and phone number incorrect. The rate they quoted me on the phone was also not the rate received when I got there. I also scheduled to pick up my car at 11am and I didnt receive it till almost 4pm. While I was waiting on my car I listened to the male employees endless flirting with the ladies and everyone arguing over who was going to lunch first. I even had one guy look at me and then tell the girl he was working with say that it was past time for him to go on his lunch and walked to the back without addressing my arrival. Ive never been to a company so unorganized. I was very disappointed with the process of my rental. I did however love the car I was rented and I found the weekly rate to be very affordable. My mother, who recommended me to use Enterprise, has only had positive experiences from the one in Hattiesburg... But the one on State Street in Jackson is a joke.

Either nobody there knows what theyre talking about or they just like jerking your chain. Couldnt get the car we asked for so we had to get a more expensive one. Given one Price over the phone & charged a higher price when we got there. Ending up having to extend the rental & given one price. Of course, was charged overcharged when we returned it. Every time we talked to someone, whether on the phone or in person, it was a different person but considering all our information was the same, I dont see how we are constantly being charged more than what we were told. If at all possible, never using again.

I had to rent a car from Jackson recently due to the fact of all of the flooding in the New Orleans area. Not knowing when I would get there I made the pickup time for 12:00, then arrived at 9:00 a.m. I had to change car sizes, but they got me a car right after I got there, the service was excellent, and they were very courteous despite the changes they had to make to accommodate me. I hope that I dont have to go that far to get a car again. But if I do Ill go to the outlet on South State St.

I had a reservation for a car and when I arrived, I still had to wait 20 minutes for a vehicle. The agent said that the car that they had in my reserved class size was at a dealership getting an oil change, so we were offered a minivan. We declined bc we didnt want that large of a vehicle. I dont understand why they waited until time for pickup to get a car serviced. So we were offered the first car that was returned, so we just took that to avoid waiting any longer. After just traveling all day, we were just ready to get to our lodging and rest.
