They used to be way better. Recently they jacked up the prices and the last few times I visited, the results were somewhat sloppy. Ill start exploring other places in the area.

I love the atmosphere and the experience. Ive been coming to Tic Tac for years and have never had a bad experience or been dissatisfied. Emily does a great job and meets my expectations every time. I never go in with a design in mind, I just sit down and let her do her thing... Tic Tac is where its at. Not to mention, complimentary drinks, which is always a plus....

On my first and last visit I wasn’t impressed. Unfriendly and unprofessional greeting. Instead of suggesting a time frame for service I was told they are busy.

So even after being a loyal customer, my appointment was cancelled today. I had called them first thing this morning and made an appt to arrive after work at 5:15 pm for a re-fill, only to be called at 4:12 to see if I could come earlier. I explained to them, yet again, that I had to work and could not come earlier, the same I expressed to them when I initially made the appt this morning! I felt I was treated like I was second-class! The ONLY reason they wanted me to come earlier was because there were no other customers and so I guess they wanted to go home early! I work sales and in customer service - this is NOT how you treat your customers!

Ill give Tic Tax two stars because my wife loves the place. However, I think the service could be a lot better. During my annual birthday pedicure, my tech (Jessica) a young lady, was not very personable, she rushed and did not buff my toenails or offer any clear polish!!! Yes, Im a guy! Mind you, with any service I receive, I always provide a tip ($10 or $20) before the service begins to ease the attendants conscience about cheap customers. However, in return I expect their better service. I did not receive that from her and therefore will not return next year. Do yourself a favor a visit Discount Nails on W. Airport and Gessner.

I got my original set on here and the nails weren’t evenly filed and some looked lopsided... went back to get a fill Saturday 25th of November and I have literally had a nail break EVERY SINGLE DAY SINCE THEN!... Doing nothing strenuous at all... I don’t even feel it happen so it’s not like I’m stubbing my fingers places... I went to another salon to get the second one fixed and had to get new polish bc they didn’t have the same polish... but then another nail from here broke... total of 5 broken nails from them I’ve had to get repaired!!!! Went by to have wotk done and the entire time she was talking in my face. She act like the virus doesnt exist. I was the only client in the place 12:30 pm 10/28/20. Never again..EVERYONE PLEASE BE AWARE. I wore a mask, but caution should be taken.

The previous shop I was going to for 10+ years, the nail technician was retiring to take care of her new grandchild. I was referred to this nail salon before the Pandemic and I received the same level of professionalism, care for my nails, and Emily, ny new Nail Technician was ON POINT! I am very picky about the shape and thickness of my nails but I didnt have to say much and fell in love. I have found a new home and Emily was by far SUPERB! As I looked over the shop, the other nail technicians were just as professional. I will be going back and referring the place of business.

I really like this nail shop. I have left and come back several times after seeing what else was out there. The only problem is this is a small shop so dont try to go on a Saturday or Sunday unless you want to be there a long time. On Sundays they open at 11 and there may be one technician there. The others saunter in at their leisure. I went today at opening and there were 4 people with one technician. The place started filling up quickly. By 11:45 there were only 4 nail techs there with about 8 customers waiting. They are going to have to do better in this aspect.

I called these people before driving all the way from Sugarland over here they did not say anything to me about wearing a mask of course they have been wearing masks ever since the day they opened their should have been requiring customers to wear a mask because of the toxic chemicals that they use ButtBut were protecting themselves but they were not protecting their customers. due to the covid-19 they didnt tell me this over the phone Ive been coming to this place everysince this place opened up Ive been coming up here since 2017 this place is nasty there unprofessional they talk about you in their own language laugh at you in their own language the doors are nasty the restroom was nasty the floors are nasty massage chairs are nasty , the remote to the massage chairs nasty they need to be inspected for violation of sanitation practices

I like that they offer drinks while you are getting your services

Professional, they offer you wine or any other beverage. They dont rush and they take their time. Affordable. Helen does the BEST pedicures.

The first time I went here there was a long wait, I was treated rudely, and I was not satisfied with the outcome. I got the chrome polish and it was dull the next day. A nail broke within a week. I didn’t go back for a couple months, but ended up trying them out again. Again, super long wait. The person who did my nails was fine, but I had 3 nails break off within 4 days. It has been only 1.5 week and 7 of my nails have broken and I’ve had to just file them down since I haven’t had time to go to another nail shop. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Lin did a great job on my nails today. Went turning lunch thinking I was only gonna be there an hour or so but ended up being an hour and 40 min; again didn’t mind it too much cause my nails are super cute. Anyways there’s only 4 nail techs I’d let do my nails here I guess that more than most places !

They dont monitor sanitation. So many customers come in and some are impatient, so I understand why it is difficult to keep up with cleaning after each customer. Plus, they dont have a stock of top coats, bonder etc. for each of them. They have to share amongst each other.

If no stars was an option I would give them zero! I come here regularly and today I came way from Humble Texas got here at 6:30pm for them to tell me to come back tomorrow! Mind you they close at 7:30pm! Then I said I wouldn’t come back I’ll go somewhere else and all the workers busted out laughing as if it was a joke! I’ll keep my money and go where my business is appreciated!

I love this place. I get the nail dip and they do good. Pedicures are good. A little pricy. They always offer drinks and very professional. I had an issue with my nail dip breaking due to them changing products. They politely fix them free of charge with no attitude or issues.

My favorite place! Treated my 2 Granddaughters for Birthday Mani/Pedis. They were treated so well, and the girls really enjoyed themselves and loved the results.

Great pedicure, but a main problem arose when I found it impossible to communicate to the non-English speaking staff that there was a shard of glass in my foot and I wanted to know if that affected anything. They simply gave up and decided not to even bother to answer the questions, which would be fine after a few attempts, but they shrugged off my concerns immediately. Other than that, my feet feel nice and I removed the glass myself, so all I can say is bring an interpreter.

Emily is wonderful!!! She does my nails exactly how I want them every single time, from stellito to a pink and white flare...(and Im real picky) she takes care of all her customers, just tell her exactly what u want or show a pic and she replicas perfectly. this will be my new nail salon forever since recently moving to Houston. All her staff is wonderful as well. And not to mention they have a ton of services..eye lash extensions, paraffin, hot cold stones, threading, and like 15 pedicures to choose from. Love love love this place!!! Also water and wine

I am a regular customer and today their attitudes are ridiculous. They did not do a very good job on polishing my toes. After, coming back to get it fixed the customer service sucked. They didnt not want to fix. I asked for my money back or fix the problem. I WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS NAIL SHOP!

This place has a menu for girls 10 years old and younger called the Princess menu. If the workers dont think you are the correct age they want to charge you full price. My friends 10 year old daughter had a horrible experience at this place when the tech smeared nail polish remover on her painted on purpose because their was a dispute on pricing. Completely rude employees and no regard they were sabotaging a young girl. Do not go to this business!

The customer service upon my arrival should have been my first clue. The work is gotty and the prices are outrageous. For Solar nails white tip 40 bucks? No thank you I can go down the road and get it at for $20. I will never go back!

If I could rate this place a 0 I would it does not deserve any stars!!! I decided to come to this location because it was the one place that opened early enough on a Sunday. I had my engagement session that day and my friend who did my makeup lives close by so I thought why not?! The reviews were good. Here I am early at 10:50 am waiting outside their doors that say they open at 11am well guess what I should have realized this was not going to end up well when they decided to show up 15 mins late! Yes they open at 11 but didnt show till 11:15. Another lady and I didnt receive apologies for them arriving late nor did they acknowledge that we were standing outside waiting for them to open. They just said sit sit sit. Ummm excuse me what chair I asked the older lady with glasses just kept telling me to sit. Im guessing she doesnt speak enough English. Well once seated there was white stuff and skin peeling inside the tub, yes they added a plastic bag so I did not mind or so I thought. After being seated her and her 2 other co workers just kept speaking in their Language which frankly I find quite annoying and unprofessional. She pulled out the nail clipper and cuticle remover straight out of her bin clue 2 it was not a sanitized place then went and started to use a cheese grater thing on my feet! Every time I get a pedicure no one ever uses those things on my feet because they are smooth! I ignored and thought maybe Im just over exaggerating because I was going to be late to my session and was getting nervous. So I let her proceed once done with my toes she didnt really even clean the cheese grater thingy and put it back in her cart like seriously?!!! Im sure shes done this multiple times and uses it on the next customer. And excuse me but the person beside me had disgusting feet so I can only imagine whoever used it before me. The person who did my dip nails was quick and did a great job the only complain was I asked her for a blush color and she did a bubble gum color again I didnt have time to complain because I was going to be late for my session and it was my first time doing dip. I didnt think it was going to be so dark. So here I am 4 days later writing a review because my feet suddenly started itching at work I literally had to take my shoes off to scratch them and now underneath my big toe nail it is stinging!!!! I have been applying foot cream and hopefully it goes away! If it gets worse I will definitely be writing to the board so they can go and check their sanitizing routine. I definitely dont recommend this place!

Efficient; perfect for busy people! I never get these services because of how much time it usually takes to get a mani/pedi. They did a mani/pedi, massage (hot rock feet and shoulders), served me champagne and put me in a massage chair for the body ALL at the same time. I was in and out and feeling great within one hour. I am heading back there today+

09/08/2018 --Went in this evening around 5:15 pm. Wanted just a Mani & Pedi but decided to upgrade because I was going to attend a dinner party later. Everything went well, but when I asked to have my eyebrows waxed, the nail tech said 5 minutes. Which turned into 20 mins. Soo, ..... Not wanting to be lateI decided to just pay and leave.The gentleman which took care of my nails was literally yelling in their language, for either of them to assist me and the two women still didnt budge!....if Im spending money I deserve the same quality professionalism as the regular/repeating cliental received.Guess my money or skin color wasnt good enough for them.Although the pedicure was awesome, I will never go back again.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I’ve gotten a shellac manicure here twice. Both times my nails looked okay when I left. Less than 24 hours later they started to crack! I barely use my hands for anything and have never had a problem with shellac anywhere else. Terrible service, terrible manicure, and a terrible waste of $!!!

This is an unreliable shop. I don’t recommend coming here. Tried to get a basic pedicure, they claimed their water pipe was busted when I arrived, yet over the phone they told me I can come. The place is tiny and the workers don’t seem welcoming. Take your money else where.
