Rating is 5/5 because the product came out really well, but the overall rating would honestly be 3/5. I didn’t have an appointment and was seated right away after I chose the color. I was seen by 3 different people, one prepped my nails and then I had 2 other people come, no biggie. I had a guy who’s name I didn’t get, that Id never been seen by before. He was a bit aggressive and seemed annoyed at times. People have bad days, I get it. and he was teaching another guy beside him different nail techniques and was just aggressive with my hands. Then he asked me how I liked the shape, I told him it wasn’t really what I asked for but I wasn’t upset because it didn’t look bad, he told me what he did was better because it makes my fingers seem slimmer. It wasn’t a bad visit but it wasn’t the best visit. Still recommend though! Everyone is great.

This place does a great job and Elaine the manager/owner is what made it for me. She is funny, thoughtful when it comes to your overall experience, and professional. Highly recommend!

I tried this salon for the first time on April 10th, (Saturday) and arrived around 3 pm. I was greeted immediately. I was a “walk in” and there was no wait for service. The staff were friendly and attentive to my needs such as turning the massage chair on, increasing my water temperature, and offering me water. My nail tech Hana was pleasant to talk to and gentle during the process.I got a deluxe pedicure. It came with a 10 minute massage. Hana set a timer and showed me to ensure I received the full 10 minutes.The salon was clean. Hana took tools out of packages in front of me so I know they were sanitized.The paint job wasn’t perfect. One of my toe nails (small baby toe) was only painted on half the nail which I didn’t notice until I got home. But overall it was a good experience.Fair pricing. Nice people. Clean salon. COVID precautions were in place. Good customer service. I recommend and will go back.

Last week was my first time visiting Houston, and I had one of the best dip powder manicures I have ever had, done by Kate! Being someone who is quite a perfectionist when it comes to getting my nails done, Kate was extremely patient, kind, and understanding when I asked her for specific details! She had a smile on her face the entire time and was more than happy to please me to make my nails turn out exactly as I wanted! I would highly recommend anyone coming here to see Kate, and I myself, will definitely be back to see her the next time that I am in Houston!!

I had the pleasure of stopping by for the first time today to get my nails done! I am always skeptical about changing nail salons but heard so many good things about it I decided to give them a try. I am so happy I did! I am obsessed with my burgundy coffin nails! My nail tech was Tammy! She did such an amazing job and was the absolute sweetest! This nail spa provides all types of drinks and of course I helped myself to the wine. The place is so gorgeous and chic! It is extremely well organized and very clean; which is a huge plus! Highly Highly Highly recommend!

Unprofessional business. They were all over the place with no real management. I was told “just one minute” for 40 minutes while 4 different nail techs sat down to do my nails. I asked for very thin dip powder and received thick & wide nails even after asking multiple times while getting them done to be thinned. My cuticles were not touched at all and my nails were barely filed. It was poor work. They also did not finish them, I was told to wait 3 minutes, put oil on my hands and go. No clean up around the nails. I left and had to do my own nails again and clean up the product left under the nail. It was messy and I do not recommend.

I’ve visited this place for the first time today and I most say that it was a pleasant experience. My nails were cute as well. Shape could of been better but over all Ana done a great job!

There’s new mangament here now and everything is changed especially the staff. The guy who’s so supposed to be the receptionist/front desk is so rude and extremely unwelcoming, makes the women feel uncomfortable. I’ve been coming here for 2 years and it WAS my favorite nail salon in uptown, I liked the old post oak nail before new management came in, going to find a new place to go to now.

I am sad to write this review.ive gone here about 4/5 times. Never really had a terrible experience but they did an alright job. This was an alternative salon to my main one as the main salon I go to was under construction for a while. Because it was close to my house and convenient, I gave them 4/5 chances.This is the last place I got my nails done and I noticed my nails were starting to get super thin to the point where they hurt (never happened to me before and ive been getting shellac on my nails for 5 years on and off). So, I decided to take a break. well thank god I took a break because I found out that I actually have a fungal infection on my fingernails.I am super disappointed. They used peel packaged nail clippers but the tool that they used to take my previous shellac off & the nail file was not new the last time I was there. They grabbed them off the cart and not out of the package; didnt think anything of it, thought they pulled them out of the bag. Well, turns out they must have been used on someone else before me because now I am battling a fungal infection that is super hard to treat.I will not be coming back.

I absolutely love this place. Not only is the facility nice but so are the employees! On top of that they do awesome nails!! And Ive shopped around.

Honestly I use to really like this place and come biweekly for manicures and pedicures. For some reason they changed management and I can’t even describe how poorly managed this place is now. Since this is my go to I tried to give them 3 chances and they’ve failed every single time especially today. I tried to set a 5:30 appointment knowing they close at 6:00 that’s why I set an appointment and the lady basically scolded me on the phone saying I needed to come in no later than 5:20 since being down the road I agreed to that time. I come in at 5:20, when there is a lady behind me with a 5:30 appointment and she gets seated before for after stating I have a 5:20. 2nd there were 5 walk ins after me with no reservation at all, get seated and started getting their services done before me. I sat in my chair for 25 minutes, didnt get offered any water or any bev, or get updated on my service time, while having to watch walk ins get their services done before me on top of being scolded on the phone how I couldn’t come in later than 5:20. You bet I walked out and this was their last chance with me. I’ll never come here again after coming here for 2 years.

I have been going to PON since they opened 3 yrs ago every 2 weeks like clock work. I love it here. I get the Dip mani and the pedi with the neck and shoulder massage at the end. I am so relaxed and ready for a nap! They all take such good care of you and the quality is fantastic. Please give Trixie and her team an opportunity as I believe you will be so happy you did!

I went to this nail shop on last Saturday with other people overall good experience and very nice people and clean salon. On the flip side my one of my nails chipped two days later and I haven’t had my nails done in years so I looked closely to the details and it’s not good. I paid $55 for a pink and white ombré and it doesn’t look like an ombré at all the pink is faded two different colors... one light and one dark. There is acrylic around my finger where it’s not supposed to be. Annie did my both my nails and pedicure. She was very nice and did an excellent pedicure but nails are not right.

I had the worst service ever from Annie , she removed my nails with a fake nail and i felt so much pain also she broke 2 of my natural nails. And she did a bad job at applying the new color for regular manicure .

Prices change everytime I’ve gone. There is no consistency. If you’re just wanting a basic manicure they do a fine job , but for long nails, THE MEN ARE TERRIBLE. DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS DONE BY THE MEN. I was charged $40 for a polish change .

Staff were so kind to my grandma and I. She hadn’t had a manicure in a year (thank you COVID), and staff were especially sweet and attentive.

Always a good experience here. They do a good job. It can get busy during peak times but minimal wait time during the week or late in the day.

Do not recommend. Having the same price for refills and full sets with no change in the nail color or design doesn’t make sense. Which is $45! When I asked for an official price listing for refills on acrylic nails, they didn’t have one. Seems like they made up the price on the spot.

My favorite nail place in Houston! They always do a wonderful job and the staff is so friendly. Recently one of my nails broke (first time that had ever happened after going there) and they fixed it for free and were very kind about fitting me in.

The staff was super nice and welcoming, the fact that I am a man getting my nails done at a salon I felt at ease and super comfortable. They were clean and checked my temperature and the prices were great!

They paid attention to each and every detail! They even went back and cut my cuticles because they were soooo dry. They never do that at my salon in La!

I have spent years looking for a nail shop that has nice people, a good atmosphere, and quality nail work; and post oak has all 3. I don’t feel judged when I walk in and all the employees are truly kind. I would definitely recommend Ben. He recently did my nails and I absolutely fell in love with them. He took his time to make sure that I would be happy with the end results. And I am. Y’all should absolutely come here!!!

From out of town and was looking for a affordable pedicure. Walk ins welcome and got us in right away. Decent pricing and girls were very sweet, attentive and professional. Nice clean place. We had walked through some muddy area from a rain in our flip flops making our way over to shop and they were so sweet to rinse our sandals off for us. Would definitely recommend this shop.

I received a manicure from a manager at this salon. The service was completely terrible.Some of my nails were underpainted, some were overpainted and overall, the quality was lacking. The bad service included a rude provider who grabbed at my hands like I was an animal. I have at least one finger that looks infected this evening. I think the health department should check this place out. My home manicure looked much better than this $52.00 service, and I would never treat myself so badly. Stay. Away.

I was nervous about going to a new nail shop because I am extremely picky; but figured I would try it out based on the great reviews. My nails look amazing! The shape is perfect, and the shellac coat was evenly applied. Lisa was my nail tech and she recommended my nail shape based on my hands. I have small hands, so sometimes with acrylics my nails look too big and square. The lounge is well kept, clean, and modern. I will definitely be back!!

I was at a conference nearby and wanted a gel manicure last minute. They got me in at the time I requested, were very accommodating and welcoming and I got the best gel manicure by Helen that I have had in a long time! Highly recommend!

Kate (Khanh)always does a phenomenal job with my dipping powder. She takes her time to make sure my nails are picture perfect. Also she always picks out my nail color and tries new French combinations when I ask. If you want shellac or dipping powder that is neat and perfect, ask for Kate!

This place always does great work! The technicians are friendly, the massage chairs are great, there isn’t that crazy chemical smell (felt safe coming while pregnant), and the prices are fantastic!

My husband and I were in Houston for a wedding. While staying at the nearby Hilton Houston - Post Oak I found this nail salon. They were spectacular. I got a deluxe pedicure and dip nail polish. This is the best dip manicure I have ever received. They did wonderfully. My husband truly enjoyed the heavenly pedicure, and they even helped feed my 3.5 month old baby boy when he started to get fussy while they were finishing up my husband and I’s service. I recommended this place to my friends who live in Houston. If I were local I would be a very loyal customer!!

They usually do a pretty good job with my nails however I can’t get over how distasteful the employees are. I’ve read over the other reviews and they seem to have a similar experience. Youre here to do a service and if customer service isn’t your passion then don’t run a business. Customers come to your establishment to relax and to feel beautiful, however I do not appreciate a crowd hovering over the tech doing my nails or over my shoulder talking and making fun of me in another language. I love my nails long, short, etc. I do not expect to be judged for how I choose to appear. What topped it all is how they advertise discounts yet they seem to never be able to apply them unless the boss is there. Today was definitely my last day coming to this shop.

Even before the pandemic came about the entire staff were always super sweet nice and professional. Me and my girls go there at least 2-3 times a month.

This nail lounge takes you to another place...your happy place! Its relaxing and everyone was warm and welcoming. I got a full set with dip and tips, my technician was Mimi and she did a good job! Plus it was pretty quick, which I personally prefer because I hate sitting down too long lol. They serve wine, coffee, tea, and soft drinks which is always a plus too. Ill come back!

Horrible Service! I usually go and get my nails done here every couple of weeks and the service is ok but today I went to go get my Shellac nail polish removed and it took them a whole hour to take care of me. At the end I was so irritated and thats when they finally came to help me.They didnt even file properly or clean up my nails. The manager wasnt even sorry when I was getting upset, she went to go take care of other customers. I just needed my polish removed which was a 15 minute job! Never going back there again.

I had my first visit today at the Post Oak Nail Lounge. It was GREAT! Hana did my pedicure, and Helen did my manicure. They were awesome! Ive had mani/pedis before, but todays experience with Hana and Helen was wonderful. I cant say that enough. The Lounge is beautiful, clean/sanitary, the employees are nice, and they offer you a beverage while you get your manicure/pedicure done. Hana and Helen are my new Dynamic Duo lol. Yes, I know that sounds corny, but thats how good they are, and I will be requesting them each time I go in for my mani/pedi, even if I have to wait. Thank you to the Post Oak Nail Lounge for making my experience so nice. I will be back very soon. Oh, I forgot to mention that their prices are very reasonable. I got the Post Oak Manicure, and the Classic Pedicure.

This was my 3rd visit. They do a great job here. I gave them three stars because of the constant barrage of co-workers who came up to my tech, Lisa, speaking loudly in vietnamese, talking over customers that are sitting around and I guess gossiping about the customers that are coming in. I dont mind that someone speaks their native language but do you have to stand over customers, who dont speak the language and hold a conversation. The owner must get this under control.

I’ve only been a Texas resident since late 2017, so I’m really exploring when it comes to beauty and nail salons. This is about the 6th or 7th nail salon I’ve been to and I enjoyed my experience! I went in this afternoon at around 11am for a Classic Pedi which’ll run you $30. There was hardly any foot traffic considering it’s the middle of the week, so I got to enjoy my session without the sense of the nail tech having to rush the process. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning. I will be coming back 😊

I have been to this nail salon about 4 times since it’s been open and I’ve always been pleased with the service and quality. Today however was probably my last visit here. I had Sarah do my pedicure and the polish on my nails is awful. Two of my nails were messed up while I was still in the chair...she fixed them but one messed up again as I walked to the fan so they could dry. They added dry drops to my nails, I waited a few minutes and left thinking it was ok, but it’s messed up again. Also as I look at my other nails, I noticed that the polish job was not good at all. Very sad abt my experience today as everyone is very nice and polite...but I pay for quality and that’s not what I got at all today.

I have some mixed feelings about this location.. let me start off with the good ones. First, the were really nice and welcoming, they honored my student discount even though I did not have my student ID at the moment( I did have to verify my enrollment as a student of course). The service was great. I loved how my feet and hands came out so I won’t complain about that. They also offered me some wine which was very lovely and I felt sooo relaxed.now here are the deal breakers and why I won’t come back to this location.... while the lady was doing my feet and another was doing my hands, a third lady came in to observe the process. I did not have an issue with this. What I did have an issue with was the fact that the lady doing my feet was looking at me funny, would turn around to her other coworker and start talking in their language and than both would then turn to look at me and start laughing. I found that extremely rude and disrespectful as a paying customer. They did this Atleast twice... after that, I wanted to get my eyebrows and get my upper lip waxed. The lady seemed to be in a real hurry and did not fully go into much detail after waxing. They usually go back in and tweeze the hairs that were left behind. I understand she had an appointment but I was already being tended to and she could’ve taken her time. Especially since the eyebrow wax was $12. Other places charge $6-$8 and take their time to get EVERY unwanted hair.Overall, the full set and pedicure was great but the customer service was lacking.

My husband and I love this place. We live in South Tx but stop here everytime we are in town. The owner and staff are very nice, always seem to have a smile and very courtes. Highly recommended.
