V did a great job. I really like my nails and the price was reasonable. The shop needs a little make over but I was seen quickly & got what I asked for. I will be going back.

They use to be my favorite nail salon when I first moved to Houston. But the last time I went spent pretty good money and had to deal with the woman at the front so that is always rude and then my nails started coming off after a week. Deciding to take my business else where from now on.

0 STARS - I have gave this nail shop several chances. I don’t even know why I kept patronizing this business. They are extremely expensive with poor quality service and products. This is my nail set after a week and a half. And also I just discovered that they gave me a toe nail fungus. SMH!

We are told to sign in but not how long we’d be waiting, that was something I didn’t like. I got my nails done and they turned out great but what I didn’t like was that I was told I couldn’t get French Tip on short size nails with almond shape. I would have to pay $45 for a longer set that “can work with almond shape” PLUS an extra $25 for a French tip so $70 for a basic French tip that wouldn’t even be the length I wanted. Overpriced tbh and wasn’t able to get what I wanted, it was more so what they wanted to give me.

I seen the 3-star review and still gave them a chance. There is a sign up front that says “we will be taking payments before any services” I thought that was weird but said okay. Then I walk in and ask how much prices are to the lady up front. She looked at me and said price depends on nail length I said okay same size as the set I now have. She said something in a different language to her co-worker and walked off.Will definitely not recommend to anyone

Expensive 🥺. Was overcharged. Services was not informed or properly communicated. I paid $141 for nails and an additional $83 for a total of $224. I was told $141. When I got to the counter, I was given 2 bills. The nails were not worth it. The designs were very nice. Nails too thick

They were rough and damaged my nail beds, the nail tech didn’t care and seemed to hurt me on purpose because I told her I didn’t like my nail shape and had her correct it. Told the guy sitting up front and he didn’t care at all. Never going back. Their IG creates a different story. They are frauds!Took my daughter and she had a better experience that I did I must say.

I waited 30 minutes and was never even told I kept waiting because I was getting a shellac manicure. But everyone else that came after me was being helped first because they were getting fullsets. I left!

As someone who’s been getting fake nails for about 12 years or so, ever since I found this place 3/4 years back there hasn’t been any other nail salon I’d rather go to. Although this is not a fancy salon the quality of the work speaks for itself & in my opinion is better than the work of those who may go to a more upscale nail salon. It’s not only one time you go that you’ll love your nails but it’s EVERY TIME done by pretty much every nail tech (based on personal experience) ... Not to mention the nails last a long time due to the quality powder & products..

I’ve been here twice and love the quality of nails and diamonds they provide. I am very hard on my hands and always end up breaking my nails but ever since I’ve gone to them not one nail has broke or one diamond has fallen off. I wish they offered appointments because it’s hard to make time to go and then wait. But other than that good quality thank you!

I read the reviews and was quite skeptical about checking out Evon Nail Salon. I arrived 15 minutes after 9:00 a.m. and was seen within five (5) minutes. I have been looking for great nail designers for years. I found what I was looking for. I had my nails done prior to vacation and I am in love. My nails have withstood packing, moving and serious housework. Ive received so many compliments. Prior to visiting, I had gone to the same nail tech bi-weekly for 20 years. I wanted spectacular and thats what I received! I realized unhappy people tell 10 people. Happy people tell one person; so I was willing to check it out for myself and I am grateful I did. I think its a great idea that they do not take appointments after being a business owner myself for 15 years and working by appointments only. Im grateful that my schedule is flexible enough to pick a good day and time. People make appointments and do not always show up, or show up late, which can have a serious impact on the bottom line, especially when you have employees you have to pay. Thank you Mia (Mai)! Its been over two weeks and my nails are still going strong. My pedicure was very thorough as well. I dont mind paying for greatness and thats what I received. Thank you Evon Nail Salon. I look forward to visiting as soon as Im done remodeling. They may not offer champagne, but Im impressed with the cleanliness of the restroom and Im given a washcloth to dry my hands. Bad news!!! I waited for 2 hours!!!!! For them then to just tell me I had to wait for ANOTHER 2 hours. don’t even waste your time going, they should’ve just been upfront from the moment I got there and told me how long the wait was. If I cools give them 0 stars I would.

People don’t wear masks in store and customer service is Horrible! They do not care to make customers feel respected and appreciated despite the fact that without their customers there would be NO BUSINESS! Refrain from coming here as the manager does not care for their customers. They said “if you don’t like it, leave”. Very arrogant. Go down the road to Ann Nails the owner is the best and will make sure you leave with a smile!

Evon’s used to be my go-to. However, since they’ve gotten instagram famous their prices have skyrocketed. A simple design may cost $100 if you want long nails. This place used to be my favorite, but with their constant price changes (and it only ever goes up) and their workspace is so dirty!I went for a pedicure and they do not clean those chairs AT ALL! They’re sooo dirty! and they won’t bother to try to make it look nice at all!!They also don’t have any licenses posted anywhere. If you ask to see it, your question will be ignored.

I used to get my nails done at Evon. I didnt return because the last time, because of the pedicure they made me get fungus. Four toenails fell off and its the date that my nails havent yet recovered. I dont recommend anyone to go there, they do beautiful work but they arent clean, they also treat you as if they were giving you things and theyre very rude. A very bad experience for me

They are blocking comments on Instagram, i wanted to share my experience as well, they gave sophiology nail fungus and the same happened to me guys these people reuse their things. They should learn to apologize to customers instead of being petty on Intagram, GROW UP!

I found this place on Intagram 2 years ago , they first few times were okay i guess, the pics on intagram isnt really how they do the nail, but recently people have been complaining about them getting nail fungus from this place place be careful guys this is serious youre better off somewherr else , not worth the price

Very dirty. The nail tech picked her nose in the middle of my manicure, and then continued working on my nails. I was so disgusted. Evon used to be my go to place, but this was really the last straw. It is also extremely INCONSISTENT. Your nails really depend on who’s doing it there. It’s literally only about 3 people who are good and their work is the ones that are posted on IG. The other techs are usually really rough and try to hurry as much as possible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone anymore. As their popularity grows, the quality of their nail techs go down.

My nails are always on point. But when it come to pedicures theyre always accidentally cutting my toes and bleeding. Thats my past experiences. This last visit I didnt experience that, Thank God. But I still get skeptical.

I use to love EVON however they have stopped caring about customer service. me & my mom waited 2 hours for our name to be called okay that’s fine. we got our toes done & then patiently waited to get our nails done another two hours passed no one called us yet we see other people being serviced, they move extremely slow.

I have to be honest I lived my nails but 2 days later my pinky mail on right hand popped up at the cuticle. Now I sometimes expect this after 2 weeks but not 2 days and 3 more days after that one of the stones came off!! This is not ok!

I just had the worst experience. I wrote down my mom & my name to get a pedicure. We waited for over 2 hrs just 5 min away. When they called I expressed to them that we were exactly 5 min away. When we get there they already had taken somebody else. What a waste of my time. I absolutely hate this inconsiderate place. And they were ridiculously rude about it. One lady said they waited 15 min.... like ma’am, I was literally counting the minutes it wasn’t a second past 4 minutes🙄. Last time I ever go there.

Love them amazing work if you get the right person because it look ok but my nails got jacked up. My nails broke down so low that they just barely got over the quick about a month and half ago, with the help of vitamins.

When I signed in I asked how long the wait was and the gentleman at the front desk said about 1-2 hours and that they would call me. After waiting for the 2 hours I went back inside to ask them how much longer I had to wait, another lady said I had to wait for another 2 hours so I decided to leave. They then called me 3 minutes later to ask if I was outside and when I said no she hung up on me. Honestly not worth to go and have them waste your time. Very veryyyyyyy Rude.

This place is crazy expensive, paid $70 for a set of nails and they were simple and short they weren’t even all that . The lady who did my nails kept trying to force me to get a color SHE wanted so I could pay $40 more and after I repeatedly told her no she kept insisting that was very annoying! Bad customer service by the person running this business. There is obviously a language barrier and on top of that,a lack of communication from the people who are suppose to tend to the customer. Sadly, I will not continue to give this place my business and I would only suggest that you dont either. I’m am please with the work she did exactly what I wanted I think I was a chair 19.when I came in she greeted me and ask what I wanted. I told her a full set I sat down for a min. Then I proceed to ask how long do I have to wait and she told me she have some one available to go to chair 19. And I showed her a picture and she did a great job I must say I love my nails I hope they stay on long.

Do yourself a favor and take your coins elsewhere. This place is a sweat shop. No customer service whatsoever. They are not consistent with their work. The first time I went, she did a good job, not worth $60 but it was decent and my nails lasted a long time. The second time was horrible. She literally ripped the nails off for a new set. The set she did was ugly and sloppy. The thing about this place is every time you go someone different will do your nails. I do not think they all have the same skill level. Their IG account shows all these good looking nails, however the odds of you getting a set like those pictures are extremely slim. My advice is go elsewhere. I would never come back here again.

They are amazing here. They have so many workers, its not a long wait. They do exactly what you want & how you want it. Being a nail tech myself, they have done a great job here!

Will you be offered wine here? No. Is it a luxury experience? Also no. Would your Mom get her nails done here? No again. Professional environment? Nope. Do these women know how to bust out the best nails in Houston? Absolutely.

I showed them a picture of how I wanted my nails done and the exact shape and I asked if they had someone that was able to do the exact look and they told me yes however, the finished product was nothing like the picture. When I soaked my nails off they are down to my skin, they ripped my natural nails off ripping the acrylic off to apply a new set. These people do not care about anything but money.

This place is great but they need more ventilation in there. The smell of the polishes are strong to the 100th power. Other than that they are awesome my nail go to for the most part.

Excellent nail artistry. My nails lasted 4 weeks and only new growth was the difference between day 1 and day 28. Beautiful nails. Only minus is the crowdedness of the salon. However, they are efficient and very good at their craft.

Just left this place and will never return. While there an inspector came in and the techs began hiding nail files, nail equipment and other items. After the inspector finished she spoke with them about the things that they needed to correct including the one time use of nail files and buffers that they use on the machines. Also, sweeping up the nails and trash from the floor. You would think that theyd listen nope they pulled the files out of their pockets and continued on as if she had just said nothing. When I questioned the tech about this and asked her not to use the used file on my nails she refused. Finally, she gave in when I mentioned that I heard the inspector telling her that she has to use a new file every time. They were also told to clean up after every customer and that didnt happen either. I watched a customer leave and they sat another customer in the pedicure chair without sanitizing the chair or bowl. Then it ended when I went to pay and was told that I must use my debit card instead of credit because of their new system and that the machine doesnt take credit cards. I understand that you have fees associated with credit card usages;however, a customer should not feel bullied to use their debit card. Upon leaving the owner said thanks for your last visit here. Yea, this is definitely my last visit especially seeing how you treat your customers and the disregard that you had for the state rules and regulations that you refuse to follow as well.

Wait time is horrific & they will never hold themselves accountable for their obvious errors. A full set of nails should never last you only 2 days. Disrespectful ladies, whom talk negative about their clients whom don’t understand their language. She said my services weren’t needed here that I could leave with my broken nail. I was a loyal customer for years but I’ve cut my ties with this place.

Long wait but it is worth it!!!! My nails are beautiful I will be coming back. Only reason I have 4 stars is because they dont have the polish that matches the powders or shellac.

If I could post 0 stars I would. To say the service is awful would be an understatement. Of a handful of techs there are about 2 or 3 who arent rude. They care not about customer service at all! They have w different price every week and in some cases 3 days later. Whatever they feel like charging at the time is what they charge. Ive tried giving them a chance 4 times now and it has not gotten better. Each time Im there other customers complain about the same. The work is good but the service will prevent me from further business.

I’ve gotten my nails done by them three times already and it has been a great experience FOR ME. The longest I’ve waited is about 30 mins. My nails stay on for about a month and they do just the design if you show a picture. Price is no problem for me.

Extremely hurt today I been coming here for over 2 years now never had a bad experience well today I went in to get my full set short powder nails usual simple routine every two weeks and as long as I can remember I paid the same price so someone I never seen before had started my nails she went and put my tips which I kept telling her I wanted short nails because I work in the medical field so they have to be short she kept saying YEP as to say I understand when she got ready to put my powder she told me 40 dollars I told her excuse me I never pay 40 dollars when I come here and these are short nails I told her I’m sorry let me get someone else another tech got really aggressive grab the hand that shows the length and said your nails is 40 dollars everybody charge the same and threw the hand down I got up and ask the lady that was sitting in chair 19 to do my nails because she done them before I waited until she finished her customers and she called me over so as I proceed to sit down I asked her nicely did y’all go up on your prices she said with an attitude yes so you’re nails is 40 dollars and grab one of those hand nails and try to convince me that this the length that I had which was the 40 dollars length I told her if you think that’s the 40 length please cut them down because I can’t work with my nails that long she got mad threw the hand down and said No it’s 40 dollars I got up and walked out I feel if Evon herself are the husband was there they would’ve carried on the way they did with me BUT I’m no Longer a customer please before you go there make sure you explain the length you want and then they expected a tip guess today was RIP OFF SATURDAY!!!

My nails are always done perfect and whatever design I choose they can do it. Expensive but worth the price. No nail salon does my nails like evons been with them for 4 yrs.

Was going to Evon’s for the last 6 months and just recently, the manager was extremely rude and disrespectful. After exchanging words, the manager told me to shut up, then proceeded to curse and carry on with threats and all. After trying to pay, the manager would not accept my payment and held me hostage for over an hour, i left the card that i was paying with on the counter and he still chose not to accept the payment. Police were called and now there is a court date set. I’ve never experienced that type of disrespect at any other nail shop I’ve ever been to. If i could give this place a zero i would.

I got my nails done on Thursday 11/08/18. My thumbnail broke on Friday 11/09/18. I advised the nail tech prior to my departure, that the nail was thin but he stated that it should be fine. I went in to get the broken nail fixed and was advised that I had to pay for the fix because obviously, I was doing heavy lifting and broke the nail. I work at an office on a computer where theres absolutely no lifting whatsoever. I paid $70 for a fullset and they didnt had the decency to repair the nail as a courtesy. I have been patronizing their business for 2 years and this issue has caused them to lose a loyal customer. They only care about quantity not quality. I strongly suggest that you not believe them your business because if something goes wrong, you will be blamed for their mistake.

So I have seen their pictures on Instagram and seen the amazing work they did and thought I’d give them a call and see if they did gel bullied which is another method of applying nails if someone is allergic to the acrylic or monomer. So I called and asked him do they have it and he started off by saying what when he answered the phone but I pushed passed and when I started explaining to him what it was, and he made it seem like I was dumb for asking if they had it, I really just felt as if he was being rude the entire time and didn’t appreciate him talking to me as if I was a child....... I’ve always read that the customer service here is horrible and I can tell that it is and I have never been to the shop . just horrible

Waited 45 minutes my spot was given away so I had to wait another 20 minutes... Naiks were not worth the price , she did not want to fix my nail when i told her it wasn’t straight . She told me it’ll be fixed once she filed it . Coffin shape some are slim others are thick . She put one thin layer or powder I can see through my nail . On top of all that you have to pay an extra $1 for the shiny clear coat that should automatically come with powder .Pros: any shape is free

Of course theres a long wait here, but the nail cosmetologists here are rude as can be. The lady had the most rude attitude only because I wanted a different color, causing a big scene and embarrassing me in front of the other customers nearby. She also filed my nail so hard that it ripped my skin and it began to bleed and she kept at it without making sure I was okay or wiping it so I dont get infected with their un-sanitized tools. In the end, the nails turned out nice, but there are other options of places to go that will give nice nail results as well as good/decent politeness.

This Is the worse place I have Ever been to, I spent $56 on a new set of nails and I visited the place for the first time and it breaks in under two weeks. Went back there for them for fix it, and they refused to. That is the worse service I have Ever received in ma life.

I had my nails done here when they were at their other location. Their pictures online looked very nice and I decided to give it a try. The price is fair but my issue was with them filing my nails with the drill too much. When my nails eventually came off my natural nail was horrible it was so weak and had alot of marks on them. It took weeks for my nails to grow back out normal. Their nails more than likely last so long due to the filing they do on the nail bed with the drill. Design was pretty and price was good but its not worth the damage it does to the nails.

Never disappointed with my nails. Any picture I show, they get it done. I do wish they had wine though lol

For starters this place is dirty and violating health department rules using dirty towels and dirty containers to soak nails. The lady burned my cuticle repeatedly and also jacked up my nail design. When I returned for her to fix it the design was still incorrect and the manager is also rude and speaks to customers poorly. I was not offered discount for the inconvenience or bad service. Will not be returning.

This place deserves 0 stars. First time here and I regret coming to do my nails. I now have painted nails and fingers. VERY poor customer service. After I told the guy behind the counter about it he called the lady and she yanked my arm up like an object in front of everyone, I felt man handled. He called her after I politely told him that it was ok and I would fix it once I got home. I was not rude and I was just trying to pay so I could leave. This man made a scene! Which is what I did not want to do and why I told him I would fix it myself at home. Very rude place.

So everything the reviews said is correct. Definitely don’t expect costumer service or to be pampered. The work is JUST OK. if you ever seen the insurance commercial). I picked a set off their instagram page with a set price, that was a mistake. If whoever did the design isn’t who you get (insta doesn’t tell you) then it won’t come out the same. For the price I paid ($145) because they were intricate. Not worth it. Also pay close attention to what they are doing, they will try and finesse little imperfections. There was a whole in my nails and I showed it to her. She then said “I will put this (too coat) and it will look fine” I said “how does a top coat fix a whole?” She didn’t have an answer so she patched it up instead. So speak up for what you are paying for. I went there because I’m new in town and it’s my bday wkd so the price didn’t bother me much but I would have liked for it to be worth it. I won’t be returning.

The customer service and wait is horrible. The check in system is so unorganized and if you don’t pay attention they will skip you. They also upcharge for everything and try to upsell the entire time. However, everyone there does nails really well. I continue to come only because it’s a guarantee my nails will come out nice, good shape, and lasting fill no matter which tech does them. People always compliment my nails, and I will refer them to Evon but with warnings. They also have a wide variety of pedicures to choose from, at least 10-15. It’s a love hate relationship.

My nails turned out pretty they used a glitter powder. But when it came time to soak them off it literally took forever to get them off. So thats the catch you pay a little less for low quality product thats not good for your nails.
