I go here every time i get my nails done and i love them so much. they do an amazing job and are pretty good with time. a bit expensive as most nails are but def worth the price. 100% reccomend

I hadnt gotten a pedicure in foreverrrr and this was a great reintroduction. Took me as a walk in right away, even for the cheapest service option it came with so much, definitely worth the price!! Super clean and relaxing, offered me water and a pillow and everything. Even painted my super tiny pinkie toe!! Great place, couldn’t be happier.

I been with my nails for 3 days and they are already cracking. Really bad service for the price. I would not recommend going there, looks somewhere else.

I asked for the length I wanted three times she still messed them up two she miss shaped half of them three why did four of them break a day later this place is horrible it’s just pretty the work is trash

I came here with my mom and sister and it was my first time getting a pedicure. It was an interesting experience having my toenails cut and filed and the package I chose (#2 i think) included a lower leg/calf massage. It was affordable and the staff were courteous and friendly as well. I will definitely return in the future.

I have been coming here for years and have always had a wonderful experience. I live further out of town now and still come here. I have only used their mani-pedi services and Im always happy with my results. Their prices are a bit higher, but it is worth the relaxing ambience and great service.

They do an amazing job! You get what you pay for here. I love how they did them. This is my second time here. They don’t buff down my natural nails, which I love because they are so thin. They are very careful as well. I fell in love with this place.

I started going because they shaped my nails beautifully each manicure, so the price was worth it. I did realize if I made an appointment with my regular tech I was pleased with my service. Anytime I walked in I was charged differently and increasingly more for the same service but I never complained. Friday I went in for my normal dip and my nail snapped while folding clothes. I went back in the same and it was repaired but the Saturday morning a different nail had broken off. Later in the evening I reached out to open the car door and I hear another nail snap and fall to the ground. I have had breaks from being rough but never with a fresh manicure and certainly not from doing normal everyday things. These aren’t acrylic tips these are my nails. The tech clearly filed my nail so thin that my nail will break with the smallest amount of pressure. The price I pay and the money I tip is not worth the risk of having 3 nails break within two days of a fresh dip.

Nice place, but waited 20 min when I had an appointment and that made me stress about being late to meet friends so I downgraded to the basic pedicure + basic manicure and it was still $70!

This is my favorite nail place a dance has been for several years now. Its never been convenient as I used to live in Katy and now I live in Upper Kirby. Thought that now Im inside the loop Id try out some places here, but already been royally disappointed. Bora Bora is big with a lot of technicians and theyre all equally skilled. I have never committed to one person since every person has always been great - which makes this place so much more convenient not having to schedule around one person. Shellac is on point and the massage chairs are bomb. Also, if you have a lot of callus like me, theyre really thorough about getting it off!

Only place I EVER go to get nails done and have EVER gone in the last 5+ years. Doesnt matter who you see there, they ALL know what theyre doing. Ive never had a specific lady Ive had to see when I go. They are all so good! My nails are 💯every single time. Picture shown is after a week but they still look legit.

Very nice and professional salon. Tons of pedicure chairs. The manicure area is a bit tight in space. Didnt like that I had to wait over 30 minutes for a manicure when I had an appointment. A little on the pricey side too.

Usually, I would give them a 5 star rating but today the lady literally cut mu daughters cuticles 4 times. She even just let the blood dry into her dipped nails.I do not like to see my sweet girl cry over being in pain. This salon is so much better than that. My nails turned out lovely but this was for her birthday & her brothers graduation 💅🎓😢

I was soooo excited to know this salon, any salon was open for business their social distancing started out appropriate when getting a pedicure however when moving to the chairs for manicuring they had each seat filled to the max and did NOT social distance they did have the plexiglass safety shields on their stations and should have had every other seat empty....I proceeded to get my nails dipped my technician dropped the brush from the nail solution ON THE FLOOR proceeded to pick up and continue using on my nail until I said NO that is NOT going on my nails so she put the brush back in that bottle I asked her what she was going to do with that bottle she said clean the brush yet she already contaminated the entire bottle.....to top it off she then put the bottle in her bin and back into the cabinet .......How can we feel safe when common sense sanitation is NOT being followed apart from this a Pandemic? Will NEVER be back!

Excellant service. Wife and I walked in on a recent Sunday 1230. Packed already. Took us right away. We just had refresher pedicures. They are enlarging their space soon to accommodate the large volume of business thats non stop. Well be back. Give them a try.😉

Have been coming here for a year or so now and have only had 1 bad experience where my dip manicure only lasted 2 weeks before cracking. I now only let Helen do my nails and she is AWESOME! my manicure could easily last a month each time. She takes her time and is very consistent. Book Helen!

This is my go-to place to have my nails done. I usually get a gel manicure and normal pedicure. Lots of chairs so I rarely have to wait long. The ladies are super nice and always do an excellent job. I have never had a bad manicure or pedicure here. It is clean and well maintained. I highly recommend.

Sarah is the best! I have a couple of ugly toes and she makes them pretty. Fresh liners for the pedicure each time. Tools are cleaned and placed in autoclave then packaged for sterility. Classic pedicure includes shoulder and neck massage.

Very disappointed. The person doing my pedicure tortured my foot. I left with open wound. None of the utensils looked clean, and I saw her put a dirty file back in her kit. No one asked how it went, person taking my money didnt say a word. Ive been going here a few years and never had issues. Something drastically changed. I will be looking for a new place.

I needed to get a quick pedicure and wasnt close to my regular place. I asked for a basic pedicure and the service wasnt great at all. The pedicure was rushed through . I will never come back. If you want a better experience please go elsewhere. It seems like if youre not a regular or dont choose one of their premium options they will barely give you good service.

First time here but Ive been bouncing around Houston the last few years trying out different nail salons. Im not super picky but I like a tranquil/clean environment, kind staff, and clean, good work. These ladies do all of the above. The massage chairs were strong and not broken like some other salons and they didnt try to push extras on me. Will def be back

I came here because it was close. This place is so bad. The lady who was doing my pedicure kept falling asleep while rubbing my legs yawned probably 100 times, barely scrubbed my feet for the skin removing , then now I have an infection in my big toe!!!!The lady who was doing my nail constantly texting from her smart watch Then she finished my nails so quickly, after I left I noticed all of my nails are different lengths and sizes. I can see my nails underneath , all of nails are poking out around the corners , this place is very bad don’t go here very unsanitary I have a foot infection. Worst 91$ I ever spent.Go to grand lux nail lounge on Dunvale and WestheimerThey will never disappoint you and work on your nails for over an hour to make sure they’re perfect.

Horrible customer service! After paying for the service with a front desk woman. Another employee there that we haven’t seen inside comes out after us asking if we paid. I showed her the receipt and she apologized for coming out. It’s unprofessional to treat customers like they would just walk out and not pay for the service. Nonetheless, they should all communicate among each other and each person should focus on their own task instead of overlapping each other and coming across so very unprofessional. Never coming back!

Ive been going to Bora Bora for 3 years now, and they never disappoint. Ive had lots of their technicians, and they are all very good: thorough, detailed, and take their time. I love their shoulder massages at the end of the service - a great touch!Ambience: I especially love that they dont have TVs. If I wanted to listen to a blaring TV, Id have stayed home.

The lady filed my nail so much after 2 days 3 of my nails broke. Not to mention I got shellac nail polish which lasts weeks for me at my usual salon, but the shellac here came off my nails the next day and chipped. Super expensive for such low quality.

Im a repeat customer. Great massages with services. Big selection of nail and scrubs. Good atmosphere and relaxing not as much chatter. Waxing services also good; they pay attention to detail its why I keep coming back!

If I could give zero stars I would. I went in with my mother this weekend, I am recently engaged and was looking forward to a bit of time to just treat myself and spend time with family. I have been coming here for years and would consider myself a fairly loyal customer. Unfortunately my experience was horrid. I have one nail that doesnt grow back, usually I get a fake nail jut for aesthetics and considering I wanted my nails to look nice for pictures I didnt think this was a grand task. Not only did the woman doing my nails make a point to be judgmental, she acted as if it would be a problem and she was showed my hand to fellow coworkers as if I were a grand spectacle. Not only did I feel uncomfortable but I felt as if I was not being treated as a customer. The woman doing my nails also cut my hands three different times, my nail polish has already began to flake and for an establishment that aims to make women feel better than when they walked in, this was truly heartbreaking. Im not one to normally post but I just cant imagine other women going through such treatment.

This place is overly expensive and the quality of the nails I got were not what I paid. Which was $50 plus tip. I went and got my nails done on Saturday and by Monday the nails were lifting and werent shaped right. Please dont go here your paying only for the name. They didnt want to fix it, and gave me attitude after I came back to correct it.

I have been to Bora Bora for years, and I had such a bad experience a few weeks ago that I will never been going back. The person that did my toes was not paying attention and ruined my cuticles so bad that they were swollen red. After that they turned green and stuff started coming out. I’ve never been in worse pain. They had to have infected my toe. DO NOT GO TO BORA BORA.

After trying a multitude of nail salons, I will never go anywhere else. Yes, it is pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for: excellent service, great nails, & SUCH a relaxing atmosphere. Ive been a loyal customer here for 4+ years now & wont go anywhere else!

The nail techs are nice enough but that lady at the front is not friendly at allllll. I stopped coming here because she NEVER made me feel like a welcomed customer. They do good nails but nothing special for the inflated price they charge simply because they are on Bunker Hill. No Spa experience

Went in for a classic pedi and a shellac manicure... what a great experience! While one technician worked on my feet, another worked on my hands. Lots of massaging and pampering. They even rub your arms and shoulders! Great service and great price!!!

I have been to a lot of different nail places in Houston (probably tried at least 15 different ones over the years). There are several reasons why I love Bora Bora. First I love how consistent each mani or pedi is each time you come. All the women are well trained and it really doesnt matter which lady you get you always have a similar experience each time. I have never had a bad manicurist. Secondly I love that they do both your feet and hands at the same time. For a working woman who doesnt have hours to spend at the salon, they are very time efficient while still allowing you to enjoy the experience. And lastly, they give great service. They offer an amazing neck massage and foot massage with each pedicure. They have a wide range of colors available. They are detail oriented and do a great job with my Shellac, which always stays on longer when it is done by Bora Bora. Overall this is my favorite place to get my nails done in Houston.

This is my favorite spa ever. All of the staff are very polite and friendly. I cant say this for some of the customers some of who I noticed were behaving rudely and treating the young ladies like slaves. My mani, pedi and massages were wonderful. The owner is so calm and caring. She watches over all of the customers carefully. My sister hosted a wonderful family event here and the staff couldnt have been kinder. Thank you Bora Bora you will have my repeat business.

Clean salon, and they do a great job however when they are busy, they rush you out.Went with a friend to get pedis and I finished before my friend did. They made me get up and wait for her (less than 5min) so they could fill the seat. So much for a relaxing pedi with a friend 🙄 especially when you’re paying above average prices.

I get the SAME THING (nude color powder in an oval shape) every time I go, and it just looks worse and worse each time. I finally decided that Im never going back. What topped it off was that today the tech cut me! 😠😠😠😠😠😠 Oh....theyre also EXTREMELY overpriced. But I dont mind paying if the service is up to par. Too bad thats not the case.

I searched the net to find a salon specializing in spa pedicures for our trip to Houston. The reviews were pretty good for Bora Bora and it was close to our hotel near Memorial City Mall -- so I booked two Bora Bora Mini Vacation spa pedicures for me and my daughter. We were very pleased! My daughter had appt. with Lynn and I had appt. with Jennifer -- and they were great! Nice salon -- very clean. I highly recommend this top salon treatment - includes pedicure, leg and foot massage, leg massage with both scented sugar scrub and hot rocks, paraffin wax softening treatment, neck and shoulder massage, and choice of color. The scented hot pad used on our necks as soon as we sat in the massage chair was a nice touch. We visit Houston every year and from now on -- Bora Bora and Lynn and Jennifer are on our permanent agenda!

Its a really pretty place. Got charged 80 for a basic pedi and a full powdered coffin shaped set. Loved their color selection but felt a little uncomfortable. I disliked that the lady doing my nails would keep getting disturbed for not letting my hand get relaxed. But honestly how can I if Im getting the pedi done at the same time and both of them are trying to make me do something different. Because its not a well lit area, I think its the reason she left bulks on my nails and she missed some spots when doing the top coat. The lady doing my toes was very distracted with what she was doing. But the main reason I give 2 stars is because the lady doing my nails had the nerve to reach into my bag to look for my phone without asking permission, I understand she didnt want me to break my nails but I knew where my phone was, she didnt have dig all up in there. I dont plan of going there again

My new place for pedicures! I went on a late Sunday morning and was shocked that the place was so packed. It was a last minute decision to get my feet done since I had free time so I wasnt in a rush to be seen. I was surprised that they took me right away. The chairs are very comfortable and the neck wraps are a great touch. Dana was my tech. Shes great. I got the classic pedi for $36 which included a warm stone leg massage, scrub, neck wrap and a neck massage at the end! What a deal! Much cheaper than other places and good quality. What sealed the deal for me was after I got in my car, I changed into a pair of wedge sandals and completely smudged one of my toes! I dont like to sit and wait for polish to dry, lesson learned. I walked back in to get it fixed. Another one of the techs took me right away. I went to pay for the repair when she finished but they wouldnt let me. I insisted as it was my fault, I even offered to tip the young lady but they said it was fine and have a great day. Great customer service! Im telling everyone I know about this place. I dont even live in the area, but I will be back.

Worst experience at a nail salon Ive ever had. The people were very rude and when I was waiting I took a picture of their sign on their wall that had a number for complaints and the lady that worked there came up to me and said that I wasnt allowed to take pictures in there. I looked at her and laughed and said yes I was, that it was a picture of the number for complaints. They were soo rude to me that I just left without my service but not before asking for the owners number so I couild call and tell them about my horrible experience and they refused. The lady that works the front desk said she would not give it to me multiple times. I could not believe it. So unprofessional. Do NOT waste your time or money on this business.

My mani stayed on for 3 weeks with no chips! I only got them redone so they could be fresh for vacation! Go to Bora Bora...dont hesitate! They take the time to make sure it is done beautifully! PS. My shellac pedi is still holding strong. Expect it to last a month!
