If you want to over pay for an apartment having them do anything other than taking your money, then you have found the place you are looking for! They continuously disregard enforcing any “policies” about anything. Pets, pool regulations/hours, and maintenance is a joke. They might shut down a loud obnoxious pool gathering after hours if you can find a way to contact them. But, who really cares because it’ll happen the next week. Plus they don’t maintain the pool. They might clean it once a month at best. I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to anyone.

I moved here a few months ago and was hoping for a great experience at this facility. The apartments are beautiful, the pool is beautiful, and the prices are rather steep at $1200. I figured paying more would be worth it because its a gated community and should be rather safe. I was wrong! Anybody can drive into this facility and utilize the pool as they please and they take full advantage of this. The most they will get is a slap on the hand and sent back out the door...sometimes they wont even get that much. Residents frequently complain that they are unable to utilize the pool because it is full of nonresidents. The facility has been notified multiple times about the problem and absolutely nothing has been done about it. Plus, the nonresidents vandalize the parking lots with trash, smoke marijuana at the pool, and smear feces on the wall in the bathroom at the pool. If you want an apartment complex that takes the residents safety and privacy seriously, you need to pick another one. Im ready for my lease to be over because this is absolutely ridiculous!

I have lived at The Lakes at Turtle Creek for almost three years. I honestly could not have had a better experience. The staff is second to none and the apartment complex is gorgeous. I toured many apartments before touring here and none of them could compare.This is a great and safe location. I love being so close to The University of Southern Mississippi, Walmart, the mall, and anywhere else I could want to go. I never have to worry about parking and all of my neighbors are friendly. The office staff are always in a wonderful mood and the maintenance staff are always on top of everything. I do not have a single negative thing to say about The Lakes at Turtle Creek.I highly recommend living here!

I just took a tour of the apartment, although I loved the apartment, I’m not too sure about the woman who took me on the tour. It was somewhat uncomfortable, she was almost insinuating that I would not be able to afford the apartment and if I were lying about who all would live in the apartment. I toured a one bedroom with my 11 month old daughter and my bestfriend, I told her that it would just be for me and my daughter old but I also wanted to view a 2 bedroom just incase. She mentioned fees not so much as an informing way but in a this might be out of your price range kind of way. She asked me several times who all would be in the apartment and mentioned other things several times in the same way. She also made a comment to my friend about my daughter which I felt was inappropriate. I’ve been on bad tours before but I’ve never experienced anything like this. I will not let this one negative experience affect my decision because there did seem to be more welcoming staff in the office. Overall the apartment was beautiful and if I do choose this as my home for the next year and everything goes well, I will be sure to leave an updated comment for the better.P.S. I don’t want to paint her out as someone bad, maybe her delivery was just off.

I went to visit these apartments today and I really liked these apartments! They had everything that I have been looking for! Everything is so new! The kitchen is open and the tub is a nice size. The hard wood floors are my favorite and the security of the gate is great for me. I love how close the stores are located.

I lived at the lakes for over a year and have nothing but positive things to say about it. The office staff is great, the maintenance staff is great and it was just overall an amazing experience. I live in a different state currently and now realize how good I had it at the lakes! Thanks!

Excellent staff, service. I am pleasantly surprised at how quiet the community is when compared to the size of the complex. I love the convenience of this place and the area shopping/restaurants. Kenya, Jesse, and Callie were great at welcoming me to the Lakes! I recommend this place 100%!!!!!

Visiting family here from out of state. This would definately be a Wonderful place to call home!! The gated community gives you a safe & secure environment. Beautiful, peaceful, comfortable & very convienent to a variety of shopping. Amazing amenities! A++

I have lived at The Lakes for over a year now and it is by far the best complex in Hattiesburg, Ms. Very friendly and helpful staff, amazing units, and beautiful landscaping! Speedy maintenance, not that I have very much, but anything I call about is done immediately! I would highly recommend this complex! It also has beautiful amenities that you will not find anywhere else in Hattiesburg! I was even able to rent the clubhouse for my babys first birthday and it was perfect!

Very nice apartments. The community is quiet and there are some amenities but they arent always available. Management changed some time ago and things went downhill a bit.

I have never seen any apartment homes as nice as The Lakes At Turtle Creek. On top of the wonderful floor plan designs, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Some have said that staff is too strict, but I love living where the rules are enforced. The grounds look perfect and you can tell the staff takes good care of the community. I will rent from Southgate Realty as long as Im living in Hattiesburg.

I have lived here at The Lakes of Turtle Creek in Hattiesburg for about 3 years, and in writing a review I want it to be explicitly clear that Im a white girl diva with champagne taste on a beer budget.This is the only apartment complex that I have found in the area where the staff is as professional as they are responsible, and they really do seem to care about the quality of life they provide for all the tenants. There is no feelings of pretentiousness among the staff. All my neighbors have been fantastic, I know most of them by name and I feel so comfortable and safe living here alone as a young female. The Lakes are the only apartments in Hattiesburg to live for families and the best place for anyone to live with a high standard for living.Lastly, its the only place where you can literally walk to the mall, target, or bed bath and beyond. Theres a walking trail that Ill sometimes use when the weather is nice.

Ive lived at The Lakes for several months, the atmosphere, the staff, the amenities all make me feel like Im on VACATION!! I love The Lakes and would not consider living at any other apartment complex!

The Lakes at Turtle Creek apartments are the absolute best that Hattiesburg has to offer!!!! I have really enjoyed living here. The Lakes apartments are conviently located to shopping centers, Walmart, Target, and theTurtle Creek Mall. I really love the theater room, fitness center, and pool! Its amazing and I reccommend everyone to check these apartments out!!!!

The apartments are beautiful and I love the location but the new staff is sub par and rude when you need help fixing a problem. So long as you avoid them the place is awesome!!!
