Not sure if management changed in the last year or so but really going under as of late. Been here for a year and I unfortunately won’t be resigning my lease. The property itself is pretty well kept but management is pretty rude when listening to concerns.

We had to re-clean the bathrooms and the only thing we have found that does not work correctly is the detergent door in the dishwasher does not close and lock.

I lived here for 2 years, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made! AMAZING management, responsive maintenance, great amenities, clean and SAFE apartments. I don’t have a negative comment to say and will always recommend!

Worst apartments ever. Flies and termites every where. The manager herself said there are cracks in all the apartments. Catherine is insanely rude and awful at her job.

Great place to live, probably the best in Hattiesburg. Maintenance was fast, the property was well-kept, and I had great neighbors. The community was gated and I never had any safety concerns.The pros definitely outweigh the cons of living here. I had a great year here and I would live here again if I had to return to Hattiesburg. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Lived here for 4.5 years. My mother moved into the complex eventually too and was there for a year— only left due to job opp elsewhere. The staff are what make it great. Truly. Maintenance who actually care and an office team who know you (and your pets) by name. It’s a community more than a complex. That’s what I loved most.

I truly enjoyed living at the Crowne, I lived there for about a year and a half. The apartments are kept up well and have a nice open and airy feel to them, moving in was a breeze, moving out was no problem, and I always felt safe when walking around the complex. They have many events throughout the year at the clubhouse for residents which make you feel included and welcome, and everyone I met was always friendly! Management is great there as well! I never had any issues when communicating with people at the front office, everyone was always very accommodating and genuine and if any maintenance issues ever came up they were handled in a timely manner. Parking was never an issue either as they have plenty of designated guest spots for visitors to use that are separate from resident spots! There is also an entrance to the trace from the apartment complex which is convenient, a pool with plenty of lounge chairs to relax in, and the grounds were always well kept and pleasant. I highly recommend the Crowne!

I am so glad that I found the Crowne. They make living here a blast. There is always something going on. I love the gym and the pool, its very convenient. They keep the grounds looking nice. And maintenance is great if you have any problems! -Alexis Van Winkle

ABSOLUTELY the best apartments in Hattiesburg. You wont find a better staff than here, they are 100% pro tenant. Fantastic maintenance service, the grounds are spotless and great neighbors. My wife and I love living here. Thank you.

I absolutely love living here. Very accessible to USM and all of Hattiesburg. The staff in the office is always accommodating and eager to help. Glad I chose to live here!

I have thoroughly enjoyed living at the Crowne! I moved in this past August and can not imagine living anywhere else! I moved from the Loveliest Village on the Plains and the management has made Hattiesburg just as lovely! I truly feel at home and very safe. The grounds are kept very nice and there are so many fun things to do throughout the year! They have Waffle Wednesdays, Easter Egg hunts, Friendsgiving and so much more! Can you beat that?! The pool area was just resurfaced and there are plenty of resident and guest parking. It truly is a luxury apartment community! Also.... we have gated and locked access to The Trace which is wonderfully convenient. 10/10 would recommend :)

The staff is rude and unjust. The apartments arent that nice and the charges after the fact of moving out are ridiculous. Toilet charges will be sent to you if you move out 3 weeks before the lease is up because the toilet is just sitting there. Everyone knows when a toilet has not been flushed in a couple of days to a week then it will get dirty. The manager has an attitude and a chip on her shoulder. Very unprofessional.

I moved here from out of state for a job four years ago.During my time here I met amazing people! They helped me feel welcomed and the staff went out there way to help me with my apartment needs. Bear and Tom you are the BEST!The staff also held community events such as easter egg hunts, raffles to win prizes, and halloween movies by the pool for the kids. Every year or 6 months. While leaving for work I thought it was cute that they would stand by the gates giving away donuts/breakfast sandwiches with a drink as you are heading out to work.The community is a mixture but mostly USM students. You may hear the typical college music after hours. Community Security is offered to help if you have any concerns.I enjoyed my stay here and would like to thank the staff!! Just a FYI. Im leaving because I received another job offer out of state.

The Crowne at the Trace was bought by HPI, LLC shortly after I moved here. I found out in the past few days that HPI has renamed The Crowne “The Reserve at Long Point.” The new name is absurd, as there is no place called Long Point in this area and there is already another apartment community less than a mile away also named “The Reserve.” Therefore, should anyone inquire as to where I reside, I will respond by saying “I live at what was once known as “The Crowne at Long Leaf Trace.”That name is well known in Hattiesburg and the surrounding area and everyone knows the location. No one has ever heard of Long Point, since it doesn’t exist. Not a very well thought out process. Makes me wonder what other absurdities are in store from the new ownership at HPI, LLC. I have absolutely loved my first two months living in this community, and my only complaint is that parking is extremely inconvenient. I have parking spaces directly in front of my private entrance, and yet I rarely am able to park any where near my entrance. The grounds are kept immaculate, the staff is amazing and the maintenance people are top notch. I love that we are located directly on the Trace, as I frequently ride the Trace. That is one of the main points that draw potential residents to this community. Why you would name the community at Long Point versus at Long Leaf Trace is beyond reasoning. Again, not well thought out. Amazing pool and fitness center. I highly recommend this apartment community, but with a bit of trepidation, due to the uncertainty of the new ownership and their initial action in putting little thought into renaming this community. I’m hoping that future changes will exhibit more intelligent reasoning.

If you have visitors, the apartment will have their cars towed with no warning. Be prepared to never have guests. Princeton NJ pricing for nowhere near the quality.

Probably the most stuck up apartments in Hattiesburg. They will tow your guests car without warning in under two hours of them being them being there.
