I’d like to start out by saying, I’ve stayed in many apartment complexes, and this has, by far, been the worst experience I’ve had thus far.The a/c hasn’t been working properly for over 2 months. Maintenance has come in multiple times claiming the underperformance is “due to the weather” and my power bill has been nearly $400 for the past three months because the a/c can never catch up. I have NEVER , EVER had this issue at any other apartment complex no matter the weather. This is beyond ridiculous!! Paying over $1100 a month in rent plus a $400 power bill because they refuse to replace ill performing appliances.Please do not waste your money with this apartment complex. I’ve stayed at cheaper places who stayed on top of maintenance and actually cared about their tenants.The front office has used the same excuse multiple times that it’s “due to the weather”. No matter the weather, if the unit was in tip top shape, it would be pushing out cold air. They do not want to put the money getting a new unit and will clearly give any excuse not to replace appliances.

We have lived here for 1 year in February. The amenities are Great! The front office staff especially Micayla and Macy are always super helpful with whatever questions I have had. Would definitely recommend living here!

Application processing is too slow if you are from another state and they will never follow-up with your application. Dont waste your time and money by filling the application with Parkwest apartment. I wasted my 100$ and i am still waiting for them to reply or follow-up with my application!! I applied to other apartment and they approved my application within 24 hours and i moved in.

Lived here for 6 months. Leasing process was hard only because we were three girls and three co-signers but Ms. Michaela at the front desk constantly answered our 100 questions every day multiple times a day with a happy and great attitude.Pros-Gated, Nice neighbors, A lot of parking, Fast maintenance, Really nice kitchen you can’t find anywhere else with this price. Lots of square footage. Quiet at night despite 3 boys living above us. Super nice brand new pool! Lots of doggy bag stations everywhere. Nice manager always eager to help.Cons- really loud construction very early in the morning (but the pool was definitely worth it) it is beautiful. Water bill was incorrect so just make sure you double check it with their billing company. Small pests here and there but the pest company they use are SOOO nice and kind people.Overall. Great place to live despite some small problems that were fixed very fast. Just voice your concerns, they listen! Only leaving due to financial reasons while downsizing to a one bedroom.

Staff was extremely helpful! They worked with me better than any other apartment complex when I had an issue arise. One of the better apartments in Hattiesburg

Staff all great but really appreciated my interaction with Michaela. She helped expedite our application as we needed to move in soon. She never made me feel like I was bothering her and always happy to help. Haven’t moved in yet but if the service is anything like what we experienced with Michaela then it will be great.

I want to give a huge thank you to Courtney our property manager. Shes the best. Always kind, has a pleasant attitude and whatever you need she makes it a priority. I would also like to thank John in maintenance hes always professional and courteous. I really appreciate yall.

Parkwest is the best apartment complex in Hattiesburg! The office staff are very friendly, always wildlings to help, and remember you by name! The maintenance crew responds very quickly and are really respectful! This complex is perfect for a starting out family, it’s very safe and quiet.

Someone is always in the office to answer your questions and maintenance requests! They care about their residents and their application process is easy! Glad they are remodeling not only the apartments and landscaping but the pool as well! Maintenance may take a few days at most to come but they always fixed any issues I had within a weeks time.

I am a current resident at Parkwest and I can honestly say that I absolutely love this apartment complex. I have nothing but positive things to say about the grounds itself and even the wonderful women who work in the front office. They have answered all of my questions to the best of their abilities and I have kept a smile on their face every time. They truly are wonderful people and I am glad I found the unit I did.

This has been a very disappointing living experience since day one. Maintenance takes weeks to come, if they even come. They turn the water off twice a week, often without notice, and apparently forget to turn it back on. At least the apartments are nice...

I love Parkwest! Me and my roommates have never had any complaints. Great neighborhood and friendly office managers! Been living here for almost a year now and we love it!

I have gone to the office, and told them twice about a constantly leaking shower head, and they have not even had a person come look at it. Broken gate on a gated apartment complex meaning anyone can come in. Gate has been broken a week. Nice people in front office just wish maintenance would do their job.

Visited daughter & roommate! Place is very nice! Clean, and very quiet! My only complaint is the cost of rent!!!

I have not lived here myself and think I ever will. The property management has rules way to strict and I find it annoying having to enter through a gate all the time. I mean, what do they think residents bed to be protected from?

The maintenance personnel were rude, and the ac in my apartment that I was in had to get fixed multiple times since day one, and in the end it still didnt work correctly. It kept freezing making the apartment unbearable during the day. This place is not worth what the rent is.

The apartments are very nice and clean. The ladies in the office are very nice and always very accommodating to all of our needs!

I lived there 2 years. The apartments are in a great location to get anywhere in Hattiesburg quickly or to get out of Hattiesburg quickly. As other reviews have stated, maintenance is lacking. The facility is in decent condition. Theres a couple of nice pools, a playground and a nice gym. The tenants are mostly college and recent grads, so it gets loud on the weekend. I think the complex would be better served and would see vast improvement if there were more stringent screening of tenants. Management/Leasing staff are great and know how to treat people.

I have stayed in Hattiesburg for over four years and this by far the WORST experience Ive had with maintenance and consistent lead ons of our things being fixed and it hasnt been done. Usually most apartment complexes have things ready before their tenants move in. This was not case and still not the case. I have experienced waiting over a month for a washer and dryer and when it is installed it doesnt work. Although the office staff are friendly, this experience is DISAPPOINTING!

Although the apartment complex itself was nice, the staff was less than ideal. I lived there for a Year about 2 years ago and I’m still dealing with bs to this day. When me and my two roommates moved out, we cleaned the apartment top to bottom and we never damaged anything while living there. The apartment had several issues such as molding loose ,paint chipped off and the fridge leaked water but these weren’t big issues. Also, we had to get parking passes for our cars bc they said they towed people who didn’t live there, but I never saw one car get towed and routinely had to park far away and walk to my apartment because of the lack of parking space availability. When we decided to move out, we contacted someone in the office and let them know and they didn’t inform us of any notice (all of our past apartment landlords took verbal notices). After about a month of being moved out, we start getting calls from a collector saying we owed $2000 for unpaid stuff. The list contained stuff such as us paying for a brand new fridge, when we didn’t break the first one, a $200 cleaning job when we already thoroughly cleaned the apartment, a month of unpaid rent bc we didn’t leave a written notice and all the late fees that went along with not paying. Needless to say, they screwed us. Nobody I know will ever stay in this apartment conplex, ever. Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had. Oh and nobody in the office ever contacted us to ask about the charges before they sent it to collections. So 🖕🏻To y’all Parkwest.

Let me begin by saying, I have lived in the Carolinas, Georgia, Alabama, and now Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Due to my occupation, Ive been required to move with a certain amount of regularity, thus renting has always been my best option. Needless to say, I could write a book about Leasing Woes.My experience at Parkwest has been nothing short of exemplary. Kim, Sandy, and staff are incredibly professional, amiable, knowledgeable, and hospitable. They insist on treating every resident with a high level of respect and are always available to assist with any issues that may arise. In addition, the gentlemen in the maintenance department are responsive and friendly!If you are in the market to rent an apartment home in the Greater Hattiesburg Area, I highly recommend starting with Parkwest. Youll be happy you did :)
