Never had a problem while renting from them

They replaced the refrigerator when the pungent smell wouldn’t go away. Leslie has been real helpful. Most apartments wouldn’t rent to us because my son wasn’t 21. He was the sole income. These guys did.

All of the valuables from my childrens fathers apartment were stolen after he died. Much of the stuff was found in the maintenance guys house. The manager tried to pay us off to make us go away. They stole a $1000 ring that was supposed to go to his children and his visa debit card and used it all over town. Couldnt even respect a person after he died. Did not bother to call his family after they found him dead. My kids had to find out from the social security office. Police say they have had problems with this owner before.

Same experience. Office staff does want owner to know how they talk to people. Mr. Stafford is a fine man but employees........????? watch what you do. I paid 15 days in advance for a year but when I asked for a receipt to be mailed and told mr. Stafford I didnt appreciate how employees talked to me the workers opened the letter and put me out. 30 day notice. I suggest you really consider dealing with the office.

I have been with this company for the last ten years and have never been a problem-tenant. I keep the rent paid and mind my business. The few times that I have contacted them in the past concerning maintenance work that was of no fault of my own (just things that would malfunction as a result of normal usage) it would almost always take 1-2 weeks and one case, it took about a year. The doors/trimming that they started painting about 2-3 yrs ago are still incomplete. I called them a couple times about it and nothing was ever done. I’ve been waiting about a week now for them to come fix my toilet. All of these things, not to mention the unprofessional office staff, were all mostly nuisances more than anything as the community as a whole was still an okay place to live. I just learned to have as little contact with them as possible. Well, things have taken a turn for the worst as the community has been on a rapid downward spiral over recent months. There is trash in my front door and in the parking lot. I’ve talked with the office mgr., Maya several times over the last few months. She has done nothing but lie. She told me each time that she would take care of it and even went so far as to take down my number, stating that she would call me once it was done- No call and no solution! The trash is still strewn all over the place. I called on 11/27/17 and 11/28/17 for the owner and was repeatedly told that he was not in the office. So, I asked for the mgr. (Maya). She basically is telling me that there is nothing they can do about the trash and I explained to her that I’m still required to pay full rent when my numerous requests for the trash to be removed are being ignored. Making a point that they should require tenants to keep the property decent and clean. As I’m talking to her, the owner-Stafford- grabs the phone and yells at me (guess he wasn’t out of the office after all). Telling me that I can just move and went on without allowing me to say one word to him. When he was finished, he hung up the phone on me! I was so shocked that I sat there holding the phone in disbelief at what had just happened! My request is not unreasonable and as a paying customer/tenant, I should never have been talked to the way he talked to me. So VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Btw, the trash is still here! I would not recommend that anyone move here! Just as soon as I can get out of here....I’m kickin’ rocks!

Tenant of one of their apartment complexes called me because their ac guy was unavailable went and and fixed issue have not been paid called the owners and they did not care now im out over 200 dollars and will never work at their complexes again
