I’ve lived here for just over 4 months and couldn’t have had a better experience so far. I do hear my neighbors occasionally, but it has never bothered me as I’ve always expected it as part of apartment living. The patios are massive, rooms spacious as well, and the amenities/appliances/etc feel high-end. It feels safe and homey 😊

Worst experience I have ever had with an apartment complex in my entire life. I have never in my life dealt with people who genuinely are running a circus. It took us over 2 weeks to just fill out the application because of questions that were not relevant and they did not answer the phone more than half the time we would call to ask for help. And when they did answer the phone they couldn’t even guide us through it. And after we finished it took another week or so to do our screening because of signing multiple forms that they would forget to tell you that you had to hand sign before screening. And half the questions you would ask they wouldn’t even have an answer to. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Trust me.

We rented this apartment for my son and 2 of his college roommates. The walls are paper thin. You could hear the kids upstairs above them running around. It would rattle their apartment. They had multiple complaints as well even just listening to the TV or radio was too loud. We are thankful they moved out. But, now we continue to keep getting bills. I call and you cant get anyone to answer. It always goes to voicemail. I am ready to be done with this complex.

When I moved out I took pictures of the whole apartment. They charge me $250 for carpet cleaning and the picture they sent me were of one room. But try to explain to me that it was of two rooms. Aint any way you can have identical stains in two different rooms. I ask how is it so, she said it $250 if it one room or all three. But she didnt say it when I ask. Make sure you take pictures of all rooms and every thing.

No one ever answers the phone! They are too expensive for the walls to be as thin as they are! The management is horrible! They tow vehicles and then lie and say they put notes on the door when they don’t! They don’t look at the lease to see if the vehicle is part of the lease! They need people/management who actually care about the tenants and their concerns!

I wrote a previous review on how it took months for our washer to be repaired(2 and half), how we have had multiple people walk through our apartment on short notice doing inspections all throughout the pandemic, and how the walls are paper thin. Now if you thought it couldnt get worse... WAIT theres more! Since writing that 3 more people have come by to inspect the same things(even though they were more interested in talking about my computer), the parking lot is still flooded with trash, AND now I guess the rules about not running a auto repair shop in the parking lot no longer exist because wouldnt you know someone has been running one for about a month now. Do yourself a huge favor and steer clear of this train wreck!

A nice looking place and cheaper than a lot of other places but in the 10 months we have lived here, my car had been broken into, bike stolen, loud neighbors and loud people at night. The walls are so thin I can hear almost every conversation of the people beside me. Cameras are not placed in every parking lot which is why they couldn’t see who broke into my car, and then left it at that and no other words about it. I hope their new management over tremont will help it be better but as of now I’m counting down my days to leave. I’m usually not a review type of person but this experience has not been the best for me nor my boyfriend.EDIT: After the owner responded to this review I proceeded to email them hoping they’d make it up to us. No response.

If you love;Having 10+ people walk through your house unannounced during covid, appliances randomly going down and having someone refuse to fix them when they are a included amenity, or being given the general run around about any issue THIS MIGHT BE THE SPOT FOR YOU!If it were possible to give less than a star to a company who refuses to fix issues or even communicate with the tenants then I most certainly would!

This has been the best place me and my boyfriend have lived in in Hattiesburg. The management team and office staff have been so helpful and friendly. Maintenance has always come over on the same day and been so understanding. I always see the workers walking and cleaning the property and they are so nice. My boyfriend and i love going to the pool. If youre looking for a great place to live I highly recommend Treemont.

The place looks nice on the outside and inside but the walls are super thin. If your AC goes out they say they have 24 hr maintenance But that’s not true. They wouldn’t come fix my air because it wasn’t 84 degrees or more outside it was 82. You can’t let you windows up for more air because they do not have a screen on them. Also my air went out on a Sunday at about 3 and today is Monday at noon and still no one has fixed my air. So yes it looks nice but I would only suggest it if you don’t mind thin walls and your request not being made. If that’s your preference then tremont At 22 would be great for you.

I have never lived here, but my boyfriend and I had multiple apartment tours before moving to the city from out of state. When I called to set up a tour the girl who answered, Priscilla I believe, was extrememly rude and short with me. This was the last place I set up a tour for so we had to fit it in at 10 am on a Saturday which is what time they open. We were early of course, but no one ever opened the door or answered the phone. I had called multiple times after 10 am and received nothing. I left a voicemail and told them we were no longer interested and then I read the other reviews. I know we dodged a bullet by not living here and everyone else should do the same.

Dont believe the reviews at all. We were hesitant because of them, but we are SO glad we moved here. This place is amazing. Beautiful, updated apartments, great pool, sauna, arcade room. For a very reasonable price. Walls are indeed slightly thin, but that is literally the only con weve found, and it never actually causes us any issues since our neighbors are never unreasonably loud. Definitely give it a shot. (And no, Im not paid to say this nor a bot!)

My husband and I moved here at the end of January. And we loved it..at first. About a month ago we got some new neighbors and they smoke cigarettes. And a lot of them! And I know that because we can smell it in our apartment. I have complained numerous times about it. They did a β€œroom inspection” after sending a forceful email quoting the contract where is states you aren’t allowed to smoke. But of course our neighbors are still smoking. I have continued to complain and they say they are β€œtaking steps towards fixing the problem” but it’s not doing any good. The office is RUDE when I speak to them. And they clearly do not have a care in the world for their tenants. I am BEYOND ready to leave this place.

The negative reviews are nothing but the TRUTH. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT TREMONT OR YOU WILL REGRET IT. I cannot wait for my lease to be up so I can be somewhere much nicer than this. This place might look nice on the outside but it is absolute trash! As a college student, having paper thin walls makes it so hard to study and concentrate. On top of that, the faculty members are just lazy and rude as hell.

The Tremont @ 22 is horrible! I have had several teammates ask me about living here and I immediately tell them don’t do it! It is a complete waste of money! Every single person that I’ve talked to has said the same thing. They are rude and disrespectful. The game room is shut down and it is one on the amenities we pay for. Living at the Tremont has been one of the most stressful things I’ve done in my life! It is terrible. Please don’t waste your time and money. I am disgusted at the way they manage! It is horrible!! All Maintenance did was tell me to put batteries in it , which I did already , and it still doesn’t come on ! I can literally hear everything from outside and the neighbors walking thru their apartment next door! And on top of that I’ve had problems with my garage disposal! I DO NOT RECOMMEND, too expensive to be having so many problems!

Pros:You have a roof over your headFully renovated apartmentsVery good appliancesPet FriendlyUnit Leasing in lieu of student living leasingGated Community that isnt so easy to break into this timeCons:You possibly will pay for amenities that you do not have access toRules of the complex will change without any notice despite leasing agreementManagement needs some internal reviewNow that I have paid my last months rent, I now feel comfortable writing my review of the complex. I have been a resident at this property during its time as Boardwalk at Dewberry Landing, Landmark Apts, and finally Tremont @ 22 and each time the complex passed hands, it seems to continuously decline in satisfaction given to the residents. I would not recommend this complex to anyone because upper management seem to have the idea that they want to be on the same level as The Reserve, The Crowne, and Cross Creek Village as a high end luxury apartment, however, they are missing the mark on SEVERAL points. What makes those other apartments as high end and exclusive as they are is not only the elegance of the complex, but also the understanding that if rules are broken, you will be either fined or evicted. There is no understanding with them if the rules are broken. Here at Tremont @ 22, instead of punishing those who break the rules, they just change them so it affects everyone as a whole, included those who are doing what is right. There are empty threats of fines, but usually when things get out of hand, we just hear from security a few days later that something that was perfectly okay a week ago is now against the rules. That is not fair to those who actually pay heed to the community rules, and is actually a violation of the Landmark lease to those who originally signed under Landmark Apartments. In another point, there are amenities that were sold to me under my lease, but I have no access to because they contribute to the student living environment, and they want to force on everyone that they are strictly conventional living. To round this out in all honesty, it sounds like management is just flailing around at this moment to try to regain some type of control over their complex. This place put a roof over my head for the last year before I prepare to move out of state, but if I had to make this decision all over again I would not have signed my lease with Landmark Apartments if I had known they were going to sell out to Tremont @ 22. Im happy that I will be leaving and I will never return.

The management is completely out-of-touch with how humans work. I left a pair of nice running shoes out by the pool deck by mistake. Maintenance picked them up, held them for lost and found, and threw them away after ONE DAY by managements orders. That is absurd, I have a job, a life, and other things to do. It took me an entire day to realize my shoes were even gone in the first place, and another day to get to the office during office hours to see if they had found my shoes. If you loose something like a wallet, a purse, a suitcase, your favorite running shoes, etc.; just go ahead and get a new one. Because it will be in the dumpster before you even miss it.

I was one of the first people to move into landmark and it was alright. Landmark was great, but Tremont is terrible. Landmark > Tremont. All I hear about are these policies and no one in the office seems to have an answer. My car was hit in the parking lot and when I went into the office to talk to them about it, they were very rude and continued to talk about these policies. The lady with the glasses seems to be the ring leader of this circus and she is absolutely no help except for reminding you not to have fun at the pool. The walls of these apartments are super thin and I can hear when my neighbors are talking on their phones. I’ve had the dishwasher back up and flood my kitchen a handful of times. The rooms are large and do look nice, but I will not be living here again

It is aggravating listening to fussing all day and television. The walls are EXTREMELY thin and my neighbors have dogs, so I hear them barking constantly. With that being said.... I have 10 more months to go and I am ready to move because the walls are too thin. HORRIBLE !!!

This place is a complete waste of money. The game room and computer room have been completely shut down for no apparent reason, you have to be out of the pool 30 min before sunset, and you can hear your neighbor rip a silent fart the walls are so thin. If I had a time machine I would go back in time, buy the land that this place is built on a put a landfill on it. The landfill would be much better than this dump.

I’ve been here about a month. Overall a great apartment complex. Newly renovated, quiet for the most park. There’s a lot of construction going on, so it can get pretty loud with banging and equipment moving through the parking lot. The only downfall is the fitness center and business center are not 24/7. They close at 5 and aren’t accessible on Sunday. It says online it’s 24/7, but it’s not. Hope this helps😊

My boyfriend and I currently live here and honestly it is awful. Ever since Landmark was bought out and became Tremont. The computer room, game room, and tanning bed that we used to have full access to has been shut down for months. We pay for those amenities and yet we can’t use them? The office staff is rude and does not know much about anything you ask. They do not listen to you when you have an issue. Also their β€œdog park” is NOT safe for small dogs. I took my morkie out to run around and get exercise trusting that the park was safe. She was able to slip through the fencing WHICH WAS BY THE ROAD where people speed. She got ran over. Well this happened when the apartment was Landmark. The office manager told us that since we paid 300+ for our dog and it was a non refundable deposit, we could just get another dog and not have to pay the deposit, just pay the monthly pet fee. Well, we later decided to get another dog. My boyfriend brought up to the office what was told to us and they basically told us heck no. They said we would have to pay another 300 THAT WE ALREADY PAID the first time.. plus the pet fee. Like are you serious? YOUR improper fencing was the reason my dog died plus y’all already took 300+ of our money and won’t give it back.. now we have to pay again when the 300+ we gave the first time basically went to waste? Plus the one bedrooms are so small. It’s not near enough space for a couple. We had just recently signed for a two bedroom. Well we decided that it is too expensive for us, changed our minds, haven’t paid anything on it yet and they refuse to let us out of the contract. These people will do you so wrong. It’s unbelievable. I can only pray we can get out of the 2 bedroom contract and get the heck out of here. Don’t move here unless you want to deal with rude people who basically rob you of your money.

This apartment was great when it was Landmark Apartments and not Tremont at 22. We used to have access to a computer room with a printer (perfect for college students) and a game room that was so much fun. The work out equipment was good for a few months but now most of it is broken. There is always trash and dog poop everywhere and nobody seems willing to clean it up. The walls are far too thin and I can hear everything that is going on around me and above me (awkward). There is construction everywhere and i have gotten nails in my tires multiple times. Also, their pet fees are astronomical and you do not get your deposit back when you move out even if your pet does no damage. I loved the apartment complex, the pool, computer room, and game room so much when I first moved in. But now it is just frustrating that I am paying the same amount I was before and i have to live in a noisy, dirty place without a lot of the amenities I was promised. Also, the staff does not know much about anything.

Ive been a resident here for approximately 10 days. A nice way to describe my stay so far is that there is a lot left to be desired; and in a frank statement the quality of this complex in regards to management, maintenance, and overall quality of the newly updated apartment has somehow made a Best Western look like a 4 star resort.... The bathroom door was not installed correctly and will not lock, the washer shakes so violently (with small and large loads) that the dryer which rest on top has come close to falling off, and the outlets in the bathroom do not work. Being the first resident since the apartment was updated I expected a few ineffencies but not this. I raised these concerns with management as well as the fact that I had not been given a P.O. box well over a week ago. Since that time, I have visited the office 3 more times before my washer was looked at by maintenance and deemed to be in proper working order. The other problems stated above have not yet been looked into by management or maintenance to my knowledge. While the outside if this complex looks upscale it simply hides the sherades and mediocre quality underneath.**Update - I have now been a resident for a year. It took management 6 MONTHS to replace my washer which was deemed faulty after I had to take a video in which the dryer DID fall on top of me for the third time..... I am a student at USM and left to go home due to the ongoing pandemic. I renewed my lease ONLY because I do not want to move again and it is my last year at Southern. Appearently when a lease is renewed your electronic key is deactivated. After driving 2 hours to get to my apartment to check on it I wasnt even able to get inside and had to find other accomodations for the night!!!!! Tremont 22 took NO action to inform me that I would need a new key and left me stranded. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACEA note to management:Address my concerns in a timely manner moving forward. I have been here since June 2018 and my dishwasher has clogged up 7 times causing my entire apartment to SMELL AWFULLY and I got told there is nothing we can do about this multiple times. I DONT EVEN USE IT, ITS FROM MY SINK NOT BEING PUT IN PROPERLY. It has even gotten worse since they fixed it pouring out into my apartment. You can hear EVERYTHING in your room as upstairs and to the sides of you. They remodeled but it is only for the eyes.. it still is bad. When I signed my lease they had game rooms and a computer lab FOR RESIDENTS and they have taken that away because they dont want to attract students now, yet I am paying for this in my lease.
