I definitely enjoyed my time at Park Apartments (2 years)! Very nice, responsive staff, clean updated apartments, and good amenities (pool, gym, etc.). If I ever needed something done in the apartment, the staff was always responsive and timely. It was nice to be close to the large park (as the name implies), though there was not much else to walk to (my only complaint, besides it being a tad student-heavy).

I lived here for 2 years while in graduate school, and I loved it. Everyone who works there is so nice, and very responsive to any concerns. It is also very dog friendly. I would definitely recommend Park Apartments as a place to live😁

I have lived in the Park Apartments since 2019 and am only leaving because I am moving out of the region. I have enjoyed my time here, my apartment is spacious, leasing and maintenance staff professional and courteous, and the complex is located within an easy commute to work. The access to the paved cycling/jogging trail in Purcell Park is very convenient as well.

My husband was working on a temporary assignment around the Harrisonburg area, so we rented a corporate apartment. Theo worked with us from the beginning to help us get setup through our four months to the end of our lease. He was absolutely wonderful to work with through the process. While my husband was there during the week, the kids, dog, and I enjoyed visiting on weekends. We loved being able to bring our dog and often used the dog play area. The apartment was a nice size for the four of us (+ the pup) on the weekends, and it is accessible to some fun attractions. I would recommend Park apartments. Remember to ask for Theo for attentive and pleasant service!

Just moved into a Corporate Unit for a couple month stay. Nina, Housing Representative, has been extremely helpful throughout the process. I had a small problem just after move in and Nina came right over to help. She cared enough to make sure everything was right and I appreciate it. Great customer service is becoming a forgotten thing and to have Nina go above and beyond was wonderful to see.

I first rented at Park Apartments March 2020. In June I switched to a first floor apartment because of my disability. My lease was supposed to be up the end of May 2021. I called Theo Sharman in late April to inquire about another matter. He said nonchalantly “ O by the way you have to be out by 31 May because I rented your apartment. I do have other apartments available if you want to move into one” When I asked about the particulars he stated that he sent an email in February and that since I didn’t reply to the email he rented the apartment. I never received a phone call or on the door stating that my lease was up and I had to renew at that time. The policy of GreatEastern the management company states that I should have received a phone call.I have since fond out that I am one of 7 other tenants that Theo Sherman has done this too. The last one in the past few days.Theo Sherman’s actions have placed unnecessary financial ,as well as physical burden on me.

The staff is very kind and helpful. Rates are great for the area. Quiet community and I love going for walks in the park behind the apartment complex.

My husband and I lived at Park in a 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment for an extended period of time. The complex is conveniently located near JMU and downtown Harrisonburg. Its also in walking distance to Purcell Park and the Bluestone Trail. We could see Purcell Park from our dining room window. Our cat especially enjoyed watching squirrels and birds in the trees out of that window. Our neighbors were friendly and the leasing office did a great job of engaging residents through pool parties, social media contests, and other events. All three bedrooms were spacious and the master bedroom had a large walk-in closet. Another major plus was the giant swimming pool. The maintenance team was hardworking and very attentive to any repairs needed. The leasing office was flexible and worked with us to extend our lease for a short period of time.

I had rented one of the corporate units they offer and was waiting for it to become available when my work plans abruptly changed at the last minute. The staff worked with me to get the unit rented out so I was no longer under contract. The whole transaction was handled very professionally. Thanks for all your help Theo.

I stayed at Park Apartments for a year, however the year I stayed was only not more than that because I had to move for my girlfriend to find a job. While we stayed there, the staff & maintenance team were nothing but superb.Every time there was an issue with a dryer, or the a/c or the water heater having issues, the maintenance team was both fast & responsive. They would address your issues and fix it quickly.Not to mention the crew at the leasing office are great. I personally dealt with Theo Sherman, and he was wonderful. He always responded to emails in a timely manner, and was very informative and helpful with any questions I had. The space provided is super nice too, and I wish I couldve stayed longer.If youre looking for a place to stay in Harrisonburg, I would highly recommend Park Apartments!

My husband and I love living here. Even amidst the pandemic, Park Apartments staff is incredibly responsive and kind, ensuring that residents are well taken care of. Ive had nothing but phenomenal experiences with the staff and maintenance here. The apartments are spacious and have different living options depending on the size of your family. Rent is reasonable for the area and for what it includes! The location is about 4 minutes away from all the hot spots in downtown Harrisonburg and walkable to Purcell Park. We love living at Park Apartments!

The entire staff here was very helpful and responsive during my time in Harrisonburg and even after I moved. This complex is conveniently located to JMU, shopping plazas, and downtown Harrisonburg. The apartments are very spacious with upgraded appliances and a washer/dryer!! The grounds are well kept, quiet, and safe. Park apartments is phenomenal and I enjoyed living here.

The Park Apartments is a wonderful place to call home. Our beautiful apartment (2 bedroom 1 bath) had been recently updated. We were right across from the Leasing office, which was a prime location for us. The pool (which is huge and well maintained) was right across the parking lot. I have absolutely no complaints about the Park Apartments. The property is very clean and maintenance staff very friendly. Theo, the leasing manager, was very accommodating. We were relocating from another state, and he made the transition painless. Would recommend 100%!

Employees over the phone are very informative and sincere. They were able to work with a difficult situation with the utmost professionalism. The Park Apartments is much better from my previous experiences with renting, and I would urge people to give it a shot if you need a nice place to call home!

The staff is friendly, courteous & keep residents fully informed of everything- including time frames & dates of filter changes. The Maintenance guys Chris & Chris are both fast and thorough. They are so kind & go above & beyond! The pool & gym are awesome too! I highly recommend Park Apartments!

Great place to live. Rent is a little high for what you get but the dog park is amazing. The Staff is conscientiously changing ( going on 3rd property manager in less than a year) and neighbors are not great about picking up after their own pet. There are poop cans everywhere which is great, but they are not used as much as they should be. Maintenance men are amazing. They do great work, are respectful of your space, and will come back until the problem is fixed. Parking is sparse, but they are currently building a new parking lot. Currently, a lot of construction in the community so mud track everywhere.
