It really is a nice place to live. Its super quiet. There isnt dog poo everywhere in the grass. I never had to worry about someone stealing things out of my truck. The property is well maintained. Parking isnt an issue. As far as the property goes its basically perfect. I left because the price of rent went way up to where its cheaper to live in a hotel, the month-to-month was $2400 when I current rent was $1183 going to $1400, and the options for rent were only 10 to 16 month leases, and only 18 days to decide before the 60 day notice was due.

This is a great place to live! Jenna & other staff are very friendly and responsive. There is plenty of parking, and the complex is mostly tucked away from road noise. Great walking areas around and a very nice, shaded dog park.

Had help with Smart City finding a one bedroom at the Marquis at Silver Oaks! Considering this is my first one bedroom, I have had an amazing experience so far!!! I had so much help with everything which was so nice since it was new to me. The staff is so kind and accommodating. The community is beautiful and I felt at home the minute I moved in!

Recently toured with my girlfriend, and she applied immediately. Sydney is very good at what she does. Toured multiple other properties in the area, but she is the reason we leased here. The property is great too, but the customer service we received stood out the most.

This was our first place we called home in Texas. I loved the trail that goes all the way to the mall. I loved their awesome swimming pools. It was nice having a little car wash in the complex. The ladies in the front, specially Ashley, Jenna, and Natalie always went beyond their duties and helped whenever they could. Maintenance always was prompt and courteous. I dealt with Felix and Arturo(?) often. Apartments were roomy. We were in the third floor and had vaulted ceilings that made the place feel enormous. There were some things Id wish they changed or improved however. Wouldve loved laminate no matter what floor. I understand noise issues with no carpet but I heard they made some noise canceling laminate. Also, I wouldve loved a kid park. There was a big dog park but no playground. Unfortunately, we had to move due to family financial issues but I wouldve loved to stay. If this is within your budget, I would definitely choose this place!

Great community, I lived here for about 7 years. The office staff, maintenance staff, and management are awesome. They have been very responsive and accomdating to our needs and requests. The community is well maintained.

Absolutely LOVE this place. The lady who let me tour was so nice and answered all of my questions. Once I moved in, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Very clean and put together, and they even make people accountable if they don’t pick up after their pets! What a wonderful place. Highly recommend to all of my friends and family.

I love these apartments because I dont have to worry about their safety, the maintenance people respond quickly & the manager is quick to answer any concerns I might have. I have really enjoyed living here. I know not everything can be perfect, but the staff really does do their best. Some things just cant be done right away but they address any issues very promptly and it gets taken care of. Ive had the best experience here compared to my previous apartments, when I tell you management matters- it matters.!!

I just spent 4 days watching my sons pets at his complex. Could not step 5 feet in any direction without finding animal Poo.Brought pet to my Marquis apartment for one day and during my walks, did not encounter any Poo. We have a wonderful pet run and plenty of green space to enjoy time with our pets.Thank you to the management who encourages residents to do the right thing and to my wonderful residences who clean up after their pets. Mgmt provides and stocks the Poo bags in many locations to make it convenient and not a burden.Simple things add so much happiness.

I am a visitor to this community. I am very impressed with the cleanliness and well manicured landscaping of the complex. The pool was immaculate and quiet to relax and swim in. My friends apartment was freshly painted and counters and hardware it contained was updated and in perfect condition. I would recommend this community to anyone looking for a new place to call home.

I came from out of state not really knowing what I was going into.. Sydney helped me a lot virtually, sending videos and photos even facetimed me! Its amazing how helpful the staff has been during these crazy times.

But, we are currently looking to move and although the rent is just a little out of our price range at the moment, my review is simply based off the website and how much they love pets! Lived here going on 5 years, maintenance is usually out same day or next day, never seen a single bug in my Apartment, and never hear the neighbors. They also crack down one people who dont pick up after their dogs. All in all a great place to live.

Its been a great place to live so far. I just re-upped my lease and was able to move into a different apartment within the complex that offered a garage and more patio space. The staff is very personable- many of the maintenance guys know my dog by name. The apartment is warm. The appliances and countertops are convenient and modern. The price is par for the course- we picked living here over some of the other complexes in the area based on a combination of price, comfort and amenities, and we just resigned... I probably couldve just typed that last sentence and been done with it 😉. -Happy tenant

I loveeee my homeeee! These apartments have huge balconies you can access through your room or the living room! Its a huge huge property, everything is spaced out. The crazy part is the staff knows like everyone. They are always putting little gifts together and they send it to our door for holidays and stuff! they really took care of us during the pandemic! I feel safe and wanted here

Been living here for almost a year, and I really enjoy the amenities, that the staff are always pleasant and accommodating, and that the grounds are well kept. Our apartment is beautiful, and we have had our maintenance issues (mostly minor things) taken care of immediately. Parking can be a little tight sometimes, but 9 times out of 10, Im able to find a spot right by my staircase. Really for the price and the way youre taken care of, you cant ask for better.

Marquis Silver Oaks has been my home for15.5 years. I have chosen Silver Oaks because it is conveniently located to freeways, airport and local areas like Flower Mound and Grapevine. I feel completely safe and the ambiance is like no other complex. The staff is always wanting to help and any maintenance needed is taken care of immediately.

We have lived here for a year and a half. We have been extremely happy with the complex and staff. Any time weve needed anything, they are very prompt. Our apartment is spacious with a great kitchen. Management doesnt tolerate people not picking up after dogs or letting them run off leash. The few times we have needed something repaired or replaced, they have fixed within 24 hours. We love the dog park and appreciate the updates theyve made with grass and a dog water fountain. They are consistently updating things around the complex. The pools are kept clean, the grounds always look great. The trash compactor does overflow on the weekends, but thats really not the fault of management. I see them out taking care of it first thing on Monday morning. We fee; very safe here and its generally very quiet. We love the proximity to the walking path behind. Overall, we have no complaints and plan to stay longer!

I lived here last year and just moved out. This has by far been my most pleasurable living experience. The staff are professional and care about the tenants.The facilities are up to date, well manicured, and clean. Service requests are answered in 24 hours and the amenities are a great perk. The neighbors are friendly and its a nice quiet area. Had it not been for unforseen circumstances with my family I would not be moving. Typically I dont write reviews but I loved this place so much I had to let others know that this is the place to be.

I was very impressed with this community from the very first phone conversation I had with the office staff. My husband and I looked at about 10 other places before leasing here, and our experience here has exceeded the any experience weve had elsewhere. The office staff is professional and prompt at responding to our needs. The maintenance staff is also very friendly and they respond quickly to every little request weve had. Its in a great location, close to the mall and the highway, but not too noisy. And the scenery is breathtaking, especially in spring. Theres a gorgeous walking path with a dog park and a lazy creek I often see people fishing in.This place is amazing. If youre thinking of moving here, youre moving in the right direction.

Really nice staff and excellent maintenance. We lived there for 2 years in a quiet, nice atmosphere. Our neighbors were nice and were mostly quiet. Maintenance will fix everything, if not in an hour or less, within 24 hours. The trails and nature views were a huge plus for us. We would have stayed here if the prices were suitable for us in a 3 bedroom.Main issues are parking, trash and the pool. Parking is really just a nightmare, especially after 530 pm on any day. The trash company doesnt always pick up and tenants dont use the garbage bins/follow the rules. The pools are more often than not dirty.

We have lived here for a little over 4 months in corporate housing. Love the location the pools are awesome along with the outdoor grills. The trails and dog park are great if you have pets. I would certainly recommend this place to friends.

Quiet apartments with respectful neighbors. The maintenance staff are always working hard to keeping the grounds looking great. These apartments have a great workout facility albeit a little small, but great equipment. The apartments also have a great walking trail and dog park, my wife and I love it here.

Lived here for three years. Clean apartments, pools, gym, and green areas (doggy park as well). Kind staff and good, prompt maintenance workers. Location is a bit difficult coming down from 2499 to the entrance but plus side its walking distance to grapevine mills park via a lovely walking trail. 5-10 min drive to Dallas ft worth airport going south and 10 min drive north to flower mound/highland village shops and restaurants.

I have lived here for over a year now. I love this complex. Everything about it! They are kind and considerate - the apartment is safe and well lit. The staff has always been so awesome - they dont knit pick over things but they hold strong when an issue occurs that you are concerned about. Overall just had such a wonderful experience. Small issue where my renters insurance wasnt sent to the office the day it expired, I sent it the following day, and they charged me a $75 fee that couldnt be removed but even with that issue (only this one issue since Ive been living there) I would refer this apartment complex to any of my friends and family! Ive been living at CWS properties for several years and have always been happy with the customer service and teams. Marquis at Silver Oaks is no exception! The manager is one of my favorites Ive worked with and she has put together a great team. Maintenance has been quick to service my requests and efficient in their resolutions. The unit upgrades being offered give me the interior comforts I want but at a more garden style property. Living near the creek with the walking trails was a huge bonus as we have 2 dogs. Another plus of living here is that they are SO pet friendly. All in all I am really happy we made the move.

Amazing property and staff!

When i first moved in, I thought it was a good deal for the space you get for an apartment in Grapevine. It has definitely gone down hill very fast for the past 2-3 years. Theres all new workers and new management. The old team was much better. Theres a very huge pest problem as we were swarmed with wasps for the majority of the year every year. Im talking about a ton of nests everywhere. 2 wasps got inside my apartment, I cant even believe it. Theres also a huge spider problem and since living here I have seen an immense amount of strange bugs Ive never seen before and theyre huge. Theres a bunch of mud-dobbers as well that just make huge nests on your doors or the ceiling entrances in the halls. The complex is old, falling apart, and there are stains everywhere, its very gross. They used to have good Saturday breakfast, but its gone from catered to cereal. The new trash service they have now has a stupid lid that makes no sense so people just leave the top off their trashcans when they put their trash out now. They come into your apartment to do inspection or whatnot during the holidays when people are gone, thats just great. Got charged a hefty fine after move out for who knows what. There was a ton of dust in my apartment and gave me severe allergies for the years I lived in it and I even bought new air filters to replace their useless ones and there was still tons of dust everywhere. You dont know what youre getting yourself into until you live there.

I had a horrible experience with the leasing office today. They lack in customer service and aren’t concerned with their residents at all. My roommate and I resigned with them, however we regret doing so. As I am on a business trip, I was 1 day late on my prorated rent for April. I called today to see if they would kindly remove the fee and they said “it was against policy” and “they don’t do that here”. We’ve never been late before, and even resigned on with them for another 7 months. If I could , I’d break my lease today. Right after you sign, it all goes downhill. They don’t care about any of your concerns or requests. My old apartment had a horrible roach issue and it took calling the office 5 times and doing service requests for them to do anything about it.. they kept saying “it’s texas there are roaches.” Stay far far away from this place if you care at all about how the leasing office treats their residents.Thanks,Madeline

Nice place to live. Overall quiet apartment with a good gym and friendly staff. Parking is definitely the worst part about it. If you don’t have a garage or pay for covered parking you won’t find anything. If you’re handicapped, good luck and hope you have someone to help you make it to your apartment. People who don’t have any decal or tags are parked in the handicap spots too and management does nothing about it. Aside from that the complex is not terrible but it would be great to have SOMEWHERE to park. Especially if you’re handicapped

The staff is VERY friendly and helpful; our leasing agent went above and beyond whenever we had questions leading up to our leasing period, and we had a lot of questions. The complex itself is very large, but nicely taken care of with many useful amenities and a general sense of community. Management hosts weekly breakfasts on Saturdays for the entire community, plus extra activities. There are two swimming pools to accommodate a large number of tenants, a car wash bay, a tennis court, a basketball court, a long walking trail...Its great! I only gave 4 stars because our apartment didnt feel move-in ready. The carpets had been cleaned, but were still very dirty as if they hadnt been vacuumed first. But, again, the management staff was very helpful.

Just moved here, and my wife and i are loving it. Had to make a choice between camden and Enclave!! Just the car wash that do not work;which was an unpleasant surprise. But we expect that to be fix as soon as possible

I lived there for a couple of years. The office staff was ok. They were all really nice. The maintenance was great. They fixed things really promptly. I rarely had maintenance issues. In fact, one even offered to help me with car trouble. The apartment was really quiet. I only heard my neighbor once the entire time I lived there. The neighbors were awesome and made the place a wonderful community. Everyone was really nice and looked out for each other. The downsides were the traffic and parking. The construction was just starting when I moved away. The construction and location made rush hour traffic pretty slow. If you get home after about 8pm, make sure you are not wearing heels. You will have to park a pretty good distance away, unless you have a garage. Personally, it was one of my favorite communities. I would totally move back if I was ever in the market for an apartment again.

We are about to sign a lease for our 3rd year here. Staff is friendly and accommodating, same day maintenance usually if needed at all and very pet friendly! We live toward the back and it is quiet and has a parklike setting by Denton Creek.

Ive lived here for almost 3 years now, hoping, like a fool, that each year would be different than the last.When I first moved in, they royally messed up my lease. They put me down as wanting a 9 month lease, when I wanted a 12, so I ended up having to pay the higher price while they attempted to sort it out over the course of 3 months.That was just the tip of the iceberg. Theres a certain expectation of things you may encounter when you move into an apartment. Loud neighbors every once in a while, finding a parking spot close to the building, or maybe the mail got mixed up with your neighbors. Everything I experienced was worse.From the month of April till the month of September, its raccoon season. Every night, after dusk, you can expect one or more of these fury critters to ascend to all three levels searching for food. Especially during breeding season. From a distance, they look cuddly but when you open your door to throw out the trash around 7 pm, head down to the gym around 6 am, or head back home late on a Friday night, youll find theyre much more hostile. No joke, weve had neighbors that have been bitten! Oh, and just in case you were wondering, the City of Grapevine doesnt trap raccoons in the summer because its inhumane. If you leave your home between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm, dont worry. You just have to tip-toe around the raccoon feces they leave on the landings. If youre interested, you should google health dangers of raccoon feces.It’s also wasp, snake & bat season! Yep! Building 23 had bat problem when I lived there and every building Ive lived in has had issues with wasps. I guess they cant help that one, even though you pay for pest control. Head over to building six and youll find slithery aggressive copper heads- Why? you may ask. Oh yeah, did I mention we had a flood?!Sure as anything, we had to vacate our apartment for a week due to flooding. Dont worry, I plan on posting pictures. It was a grand addition to the road construction on 2499. Our driveway is totally inaccessible, and we now have to navigate our way through the neighboring Mustang Ridge, just to get home. Whats really awesome is if theres someone moving in and blocking the way for all of traffic to get in. No joke, what once took me 10 minutes to get to work, now takes 45. It’s a mess.For five months straight, I rented two car ports at $45 apiece. Every night we went to use them, we undoubtedly had one or both being occupied by residents. We were assured that if we called the after-hours service line, that they would tow the vehicle- after all, there are signs posted. When the maintenance staff would call me back, however, they told me they would tag the vehicle with a warning but not tow it. They didnt want to upset the resident- REALLY!?! What about upsetting me?! Let me tell you how awesome that was when Texas hail storms would blow in, my cars got dinged, but the other guy- he was fine. I was told if I really wanted to pursue it, all I had to do was contact the Grapevine police. Guess what, they dont tow from private property. So there I was out $90 each month until I finally got wise and stopped paying.Really, though, that’s an unfair assessment of the maintenance team. Once I had this leaky faucet in my kitchen, and they came right over to look at it and tell me “sometimes faucets just do that”. Little did they know I grew up with a contractor for a dad who taught me better. By the way, no, faucets sometimes just do that if something needs to be replaced or tightened. But they are generally responsive. I just wish they hadn’t broken my window & screen in the attempt to get a wasp nest out.With so many problems, you would think the half-whited staff would be somewhat helpful but dont let them fool you; theyre basically just there for show.

We never ended up moving in after signing a lease- please be aware that what you tour may not be what you end up leasing. I found out by chance that our apartment was one of the apartments that hadn’t been renovated, after we had selected it. We also had toured two weeks prior and were told to wait closer to our move-in date, and after the two weeks rent had increased $200 per unit. After finding out our apartment we had chosen wasn’t renovated, we were told that our rent would increase $200 if we wanted the amenities we had toured on top of the random increase in overall rent prices. We understood we had chosen this option, but having no idea we chose it in the first place thinking we would be paying for a renovated apartment felt like a bait and switch. After many phone calls with some very unhelpful staff, they ended up letting us leave the lease and refunded our application fees, which we greatly appreciated. There also have been past floods at the complex, pest control issues, and during our tour much of the overall complex grounds were not well kept.

I love the hiking trail, gym, quick maintenance and omelette brunches. The staff is friendly and helpful as well.

They do not enforce the trash policy per our lease agreements. Can compare to section 8 housing. Walking out of my apartment only to look at trash MOST EVERYDAY! Have spoken to the office about it for the last two plus months. Also asked to have the trash stained cement power washed. Never happens. They only make empty promises to have it happen.

The apartments here are okay, but nothing to write home about. You cant beat the location, but cell phone coverage is pretty poor.Only half of the two-car car wash has worked for the past 6-7 months. They have no intention of fixing it. The vacuum nozzle is busted and they dont bother to fix it and now the vacuum itself doesnt work. Pretty crappy maintenance in this joint. I cant wait to move out soon.

The staff at the Marquis at Silver Oak is extremely unprofessional and rude.They first forgot to post the rent for the month. Post that they slapped a 100 dollar late payment fee and sent an eviction notice before contacting the residents.The front office also makes it sound as its the residents problem and that reverting the late payment would be a favor to the residents.

Once that customer left, the staff member proceeded to look straight at me, then walked back into her office without ever asking if I needed anything. If I cant get help finding an apartment in your complex, whats supposed to make me think youll help when I actually live there? Needless to say I walked out.

***AVOID THIS POOR COMPLEX AT ALL COSTS*** There are many deplorable things to mention about this complex but first and foremost if you were even thinking about moving here please re-evaluate your options. -This complex is ALWAYS messy. Maintenance only bothers to maintain outer areas where visitors may see but within the stairwells there are massive cobwebs, bee hives, insects, trash, and stained concrete everywhere you turn. There was a very large COCKROACH in my apartment and I have never experienced this in the past anywhere else as I am a clean tenant. Staff just brushed this off as if it were nothing. I was highly disgusted. If you ask maintenance for assistance they will hardly make a difference. They arent worth the hassle. -The interior is very outdated and every fixture within the apartment is cheaply made. Cabinets are simply lined with some type of cheap paper material. Floors are not hardwood and can easily rise up. Carpets are dirty and old looking. The balcony concrete is unsightly and stained terribly. - The amenities are very basic. The gym is small and is lacking many features. The pool is dirty and green looking. The grills do not have gas most of the times so they are useless. -Management and office staff is full of rude and brainless people who are only friendly when trying to coerce you into signing a lease. -WORST OF ALL, there is extremely POOR reception. This is not only evident with my cell phone carrier and internet provider but all of my guests have experienced similar issues. My calls are always dropped mid conversation and sometimes I do not even receive several calls until notified days later from the person who was attempting to reach me. This is a huge problem that I suggest you avoid. -There are not any nearby grocery stores and there are very few gas stations. This many not seem to be a big deal but after a while it becomes a hassle to drive 15 minutes to the nearest grocery store. -WAY OVERPRICED! You will find a better value apartment complex elsewhere. DO NOT SIGN ANY LEASE AT THIS CROOKED AND MONEY HUNGRY ESTABLISHMENT. Positive reviews on this site are so blatantly written by staff so just ignore them. I am trying to save people from the mistake I made by leasing here. It is a trap. Please believe me!!

Disappointed with the way the office staff handles complaints regarding neighbors. You would think they would resolve it to avoid confrontation among the tenants but that does not seem to be the case. I guess they want matters to be resolved in other ways.

The apartments here is bed bugs, other residents need to be careful as well

Based on the rude phone conversation I had with an employee there I would never lease here.
