Camden has been a wonderful place to live. The management is top notch. They are very active with the residents and always making sure things are being taken care of. The maintenance team is amazing. During this snow storm we had and many buildings without water the management and maintenance teams worked non stop getting everyone taken care of. Also, many residents were offering help and water to whomever needed anything. I can’t say enough about how great they were and how quickly they had all the water and pipes back up. It’s truly a community here.

I thought I wanted to live here but I had to pay too much to move in, so I went elsewhere.... I was owed a refund for my deposit that I have yet to receive and its been almost 6 months. Everytime I call they tell me they sent it from corporate and verify my address. I would not recommend these apartments because they basically lie and are deceitful. It wasnt much but it was still money owed. If I really was not supposed to get it back then dont give me the run around, let me know because this has been going on too long. I dont receive follow ups, calls, emails, nothing.

Camden Riverwalk does an incredible job at being responsive and taking care of any problems that arise. During this winter storm several buildings lost water due to frozen pipes and they were able to make sure all buildings had water restored the first day it was above freezing! This team goes above and beyond to take care of their residents and maintain the property

Lived at Camden Riverwalk for almost a year and a half and honestly was the most peaceful, friendly, and cleanness apartment complex I have ever experience. Front office was also professional, maintenance crew were super responsive and knew on a first name basis. Great community pool area and gym, nice, reserved walking trail me and my dog would walk without any issues.Wish my apt unit weren’t located so close to the front office building due to early morning truck deliverys they would receive sometime but was nothing major. Few issues with the front gate at times would happen every now and then but they were usually on top on resolving the issue within the next 24- 48 hours.Overall great place, plus convenient to grocery store and other shopping locations. Hate I had to move due to job relocation and there is no Camden apt near but would recommend for someone that wants to be close to the city but love a quiet area.

This complex is completely dishonest about moving out policy. I cleaned my apartment like New expecting to get my deposit back and they charged me $165 cleaning, $50 for their cheap vertical blinds when 2 panels broke after two years living there and then they charged me a so called violation fee for not having renters insurance my last month there which is completely dishonest because I’ve had it automatically paid every month! It was ok living here but don’t count on getting your deposit back because they will LIE about every single charge!

Excellent community! Well maintained and clean. We moved from a previous Camden community, and it too was well maintained. A very positive experience. Riverwalk hit all of our tick boxes. Wonderful and attentive leasing staff, professional, and responsive. The manager stays on top of everything from what we see. Maintenance team is competent, timely responses, and very friendly. Fantastic location and easy to move in out of the DFW area. We would recommend this community to any of our friends looking for a top notch place to live. Camden corporate seems to be making sure the right people are in the right places!

We lived here for over three years and it was consistently excellent. Maintenance requests were resolved quickly and effectively. The office communicated well and often. The rent was reasonable and the grounds were maintained properly. All in all, just a great community. Were only leaving due to purchasing a house. The only thing Id improve is the location of the dog park - it is a decent walk to it over the trail (with bugs and critters). On hot days, with the lack of water fixtures, it was not always practical to go there and allow the dog to run around off-leash.

There are always community activities so you can socialize and get to know your neighbors (book club, pool events, breakfast etc.) The maintenance team is amazing should you need help with anything and the leasing staff is wonderful! Jen Bird is exceptional and always there when I need her for anything. I would highly recommend this complex community if you are looking for a safe, fun and peaceful place to make your new home!

Me and my now fiancé lived here for about two years. John & and Matchen always helped us and they were always so polite even when I had difficult questions. We did not have any issues until we moved out and honestly, I have never been so frustrated with a facility.During the tornado that happened in Richardson earlier this year we took in some of our family who had just lost everything and has an autistic daughter, which Camden knew about. We received SO many noise complaints and they just kept calling us like there was something we can do to get her to calm down, she was two. I even tried to go down stairs and explain to the family below us they didn’t seem to care either but just kept calling to complain. So that was the start of this lovely story. Then when the Pandimic happened my fiancé lost his job. We weren’t able to sign up for either reliefs that Camden held because they went way to quickly and I worked full time. I explained many times to Sharla that due to buying a home I did not want to have any unexpected fees when moving out because it’s just one income now. That and we also had to extend the lease to a month to month because the house wasn’t done yet. If you think buying a house is already hectic try building one. Plus all of our money is now tied up with one less income coming in. On top of the builders ask for you to make sure nothing goes on your credit. So please tell me what made you think I didn’t want to settle with y’all??? It really upset me when you said “I figured you didn’t want to pay it” after paying an extra 600 dollars over the rent to make sure we are covered to move out!I’m not even mad about the patch of carpet that could have been cleaned but needed to be replaced. I paid everything I had in the last statement which was 600 dollars over the bill JUST so we wouldn’t have this issue! MY BAD I COULDN’T DISH OUT ANOTHER 600 dollars. Me telling you before we even moved out that I can’t make another payment arrangement does not make it okay for you to think that I don’t want to pay the outstanding bill? Whether it be day one or day 30.I understand as an apartment complex you don’t have to give a notice that you are sending anything to collections but you don’t just get to figure that I’m not paying my own bills. I have never had anything go to collections or on my credit for that matter (which I told you) that’s the sad part we were in contact. What happens to the last bill being mailed to the address we give y’all? There was no mail or email courtesy after we moved out to the new address which y’all asked us for so I know you all have it or to the old address that was already on file to either one of us and Camden has both of our contact information. So apparently this is what I get for being honest to a person that doesn’t care about the pandimic or our hardships as residents that live on the property.I should take legal action with that response alone. It just upsets me that at 25 years old and clearly trying to be honest with someone older than you in this case got me no where. You just get a call from collection agency multiple times a day when you finally get all moved into your new home. We both know you did this intentionally but it’s okay it’s been taken care of and we don’t have to speak again.

I just finished reviewing these beautiful apartments with Leasing agent John. He made this experience superb for me. At first when I walked in. I felt that I was in the wrong place. However, John graced me with his joyful and welcoming spirit. I rooms here were much smaller than what we were looking for considering the price. But I must say John would have been one of the reasons my husband and I felt good about choosing this place.

Great apartment (had lovely dual sinks and a corner patio with garage included), fast and friendly maintenance team, HOWEVER... I wouldn’t be doing my due diligence for others if I didn’t mention the hidden closing costs in our early lease termination process. The manager and other leasing agents were friendly, but just like any other corporate apartment entity, they will nickel-and-dime you when you leave and it sucks. You pay for services like trash and utilities like water on days you don’t even use them(we moved out and moved into our home earlier than the move-out date.) We could’ve used that money toward our new home, but them’s the breaks. I doubt they’ll reach out since I’m not their problem any more, but just beware. Read your lease carefully - it’ll say there “may” be other fees alongside the exorbitant fees they ask for. They need to change it to say there “WILL” be other fees with closing. Don’t expect your deposit back and expect a $50 “pet treatment” fee alongside the $90 cleaning fee, even if your dog didn’t have any accidents on the carpet. It’s for the “smell and hair on the carpet.” HUH?! That’s not under the cleaning fee? What about the nonrefundable pet deposit at the beginning of our lease? never heard of this and I’ve lived in several apartment complexes. So glad we’re done with the apartment life to say the least!

Let me start off by saying that we enjoyed our time at Camden, but we had to work really hard to do that. In the first couple months we were on the phone and trying to get the management to take a look into something more than we could even keep track of. Our water bill was wayyyyy too high. About $100 for a 1 bedroom. We initially just thought to ask about it at the front office, they shrugged it off and said that happens sometimes so we paid it. Then it happens again and we figured okay this is just gonna be the price and it’s normal. Then I left to get married in California. I was gonna for a month. The water wasn’t run, no dishes were washed and a toilet wasn’t even flushed and our bill came back to be $110. We finally knew something was off so we called and asked for someone to come check it out. They shrugged it off again and WOULD NOT LISTEN. So we called everyone that we could think of and they kept pointing us back to Camden so finally we talked to one of our neighbors who told us his water bill for a 2 bedroom was $40....when we told management that they couldn’t fight or ignore us anymore. They sent maintenance to check it out. Turns out there was a leak and they had to reimburse us for every gallon that we didn’t use. Then it took more than 3 months to get all of my money back.Fast forward 10 months and it’s time to renew our lease... we would have loved to stay there, but not when they raise the rent by $229. In my 10 years of leasing I’ve never seen a raise that expensive in 1 year. Absolutely ridiculous.

Coming from a college apartment complex mindset, Camden has been a great choice so far. I have lived her for a little over a month. I live in a 800 sq ft apartment with a garage attached. I love the lay out and the rent out beats apartments in the area. I love that the washer and dryer was included. The only issues I would have to say is that I wish our appliances were stainless steel - which I knew going into the lease, our washer goes out of control when washing a light load, and the pet deposit was a little high compared to other complexes. Other than that, the complex is kept up and I LOVE the trail. So far, I have enjoyed living here and really happy choosing Camden.

Dont know y these apartments charge so much for rent. For 2B/2B its 2000+ and on top of it , you have to take Att cable no matter what u have that goes for 100+. Just rent and cable comes around 2100. Ok now comes apartments, these are built may be in 2010s and are renting for 2020 rents. Even the modern apartments with all the facilities with new equipment in home doesnt charge so much. I was shocked to see those apartments and see the rent package. I wish who have money and dont know where to waste will live in these apartments (Old , aged , basic equipment , ok amenities for 2000+). I saw 15 apartments none of them were charging so for such kind of low apartments. I hope they change they charge for the falling apartments. The only thing I gave 3 star is for the front desk folks

**Continuously Updated Review Post**I plan on using this review to document my total experience with Camden Riverwalk, and will update as my time here progresses.Mar 3 ‘21 - The past two years here ended up being pretty exceptional. I still can’t find a single complaint about this complex. When COVID hit, they started a fund for financially impacted residents to apply to and receive aid. My lease renewal also approached during COVID and they agreed to not raise my rent. These are two things that they really didn’t have to do. Fast forward to 2021 when the deadly Texas Winter storm hit in February, electricity luckily stayed on the entire time. We never lost power or water even though some buildings did have pipes burst. They initially said it could be a while to fix them, but they ended up getting everyone fixed by a couple days later. This complex really cares about their residents and take care of us very well. I am really sad to be moving out of state in two days for a new job opportunity, and can only hope my new home will be just as amazing as this complex has been. Thank you Camden!Mar 26 19- I applied for the unit I wanted on the 25th and today I received correspondence on moving forward with getting everything set up for move in. All of the instructions are laid out for you and easy to understand, and they also keep fees and payments super up front to you, so thats nice. And they use DocuSign for the lease and other documents, which is convenient for someone lives out of town and cannot do the app process in person. Also all payments appear to be online which is nice. Paying via checking account wont accrue a service fee, but if you use a debit or other type of card, be aware youll get a $38+ service fee so its not worth it.I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Camden so far, and look forward to my experiences here when I move to the area from Galveston for a new job.Mar 25 19 - I sat down with Jen Bird and discussed what I was looking for in an apartment, and she was very nice and helpful and had a sense of humor which I enjoyed. She did a great job giving my mother and I a tour of the property and all amenities. I was able to see a floor plan of a similar unit that I will be getting since that one was ready to see, and the quality of that apartment was excellent. Also couldnt really hear the planes from DFW airport unless you really tried. All updated cabinets and appliances and finishes. Very pleased, and hope my unit turns out the same upon move in. I applied for the 800 SQ FT floor plan on the 3rd floor and it is marketed as being updated so I will follow up on this upon move in April 25. When I did the tour of the property, everything was well kept and not trashy. Didnt smell dog poo while on the grounds, and I enjoyed the size of the pool and the protected nature trail and catch and release fish pond. Each apartment comes with AT&T U-200 cable and fiber internet, where the internet is per unit and not a shared internet. I look forward to seeing how good it is, and if I will still have to get my own internet. My unit also comes with a washer and dryer which is a plus. Carpet in living areas and bedroom on 3rd floor, and tile/wood in kitchen/bathroom areas. The sliding door to the patio also has a sliding screen door so you will be able to open the door and let the wind flow in without bugs being an issue.

We just moved in for 7 days. Below is what happened.First, the sink in the bathroom is moving, and there is a gap between the sink and the counter top. If there is water, it will drain down to the cabinet underneath.Second the bathtub was clogged, and when I take a shower for 5 minutes, my feet will be submerged in the water. The depth of the water is about 10 cm.Third the stove is not working. Electricity is on, but the burners are not.I called the leasing office to report the problem, and they (people from contact center in Houston) submitted the service order with high priority.4 days later, I was told the service order is completed. But actually nothing was done. The sink is still moving around, and the bath tub is still not draining. The stove is functioning, but not fully. The burner goes on and off and on again. It took me to cook the dinner for 90 minutes which typically took 30 minutes.Below is what I complain about. It was a high priority service order, but it took more than 4 days for someone to come over. Then they left a service complete notice and reported that problems were resolved, but actually they did nothing. The reason I knew why they did nothing is as follows. An electrician came over to fix the stove and helped me to take a look at the bath tub. He found that there was a lot of hair there and that caused the slow draining problem. Apparently the one who left the service complete notice did not take the hair out and not even try to solve the problem.I called the leasing office a lot of times during their working hours and not a single call was picked up and all the calls are rerouted to Houston contact center. I did an experiment when I went to the leasing office and called them. They are at their desk and but they just dont pick up the phone.I suggest the management team take some actions on this.

My opinion is that they have been nothing but excellent! Staff is excellent! They are busy yes, but arent we all! Everywhere I go in DFW is a wait... These are worth waiting for these very nice staff members who work their behinds off for us! I see how hard they work and this pllace is worth coming home to!

Where is the property Manager he is never in the office for questions about my rent? The assistant manager is great and very helpful. Taylor only speaks to me when she wants to but will push you out the way if a new face walks in the door. I do miss the old staff they were really friendly but it looks like they got rid of all the ones who actually help. My rent is close to 2,000 so when I give a service request to Taylor I expect her to submit it.....I WAS WRONG.. Terrawood here I come. This place is going down hill

Camden is an awesome place to Live. Nicely located in the Heart of the DFW Metroplex just north of DFW airport. You can be in Dallas in 20 minutes or in Fort Worth in 20 minutes. Makes it ideal for maximizing your entertainment needs but still have the old town feel of Down Town Grapevine. One might say the best of all worlds.ThanksGus

We have lived here for five+ years and we LOVE it here!!!!! The property sits along a beautiful nature reserve where you can take breathtaking walks, jog or bike ride. Ideal for nature lovers, too. And, you get the best of both ......... COUNTRY LIVING in the CITY!!!! Its accessible to everything you want to explore that DFW has to offer ... conveniently located to DFW airport and just a short drive to Los Colinas and downtown Dallas, yet it is still just minutes away from that small town feeling and convenience of what you need ...... (i.e., grocery shopping - traditional and farmers market, doctor, banking, cute little unique shops, etc). Its nestled between the quaint downtown of Grapevine and the town of Flower Mound. Now, thats all great, but unless you like your home it doesnt mean THAT much. These apartment homes have unique floor plans with wraparound balconies, private balconies and patios. Plus, EVERY 1st and 2nd floor home has a direct access garage, which is such a nice added touch and hard to find!!! Our 2nd floor feels almost like a townehome. The are TWO pools. One that is a resort style pool with spa. The other pool/spa is located on the back part of the community with a fabulous clubhouse for resident use with a game room, movie theater, business ctr, etc. There are two very nicely equipped fitness centers and lets not forget that the nature reserve has a 1.2 mile jogging/walking trail throughout the gorgeous trees and natural vegetation.Inside the homes you will find beautiful granite counter tops with either dark walnut cabinets or cherry wood cabinets and some have a glass tile backsplash in the kitchen and simulated wood grain flooring with well thought out layouts. Its fabulous that they include washer/dryer in each unit. The grounds are well kept and all of the management are wonderful ........ very friendly, helpful and attentive. We have never had any issues with our place other than replacing light bulbs. One time our dishwasher was making a noise and it was b/c I put a plastic fork in it and it broke off and was causing that. Maintenance came the next day and found the piece and removed it ....... not a problem since!!!! We get a complimentary carpet cleaning once a year and for next to nothing we can have the company they use come anytime. I have lived at a few other places where that was not always the situation. They have resident activities once or twice per month and lots of other groups, i.e., book club and other interests that are a really nice way to meet and get to know your neighbors.Like I said we just love it here .... You cant beat the breathtaking sunsets on nearby Lake Grapevine ..... where country and city come together!!!!

Everyone that works there is very nice with the exception of one employee whom I will leave nameless and just say she is not very polite or helpful. The property is very nice and well-kept… But thats not my issue; the problem is communication or the lack thereof. I cant tell you how many times emails have gone unreplied, voicemail messages not returned, face-to-face conversations that are never followed up on and messages physically left on a desk discarded. This lack of communication is nothing short of poor property management and the following example clearly demonstrates that. To make a long story short, there was a miscommunication between the property manager who happened to leave on vacation and the assistant manager concerning my second car and two flat tires that had been flattened by what appeared to be cuts in the sidewall; this not only happened once but twice. The first time they were immediately repaired, the second time occurring about a month later during the heavy rain we had in May 2015. After a few rainday delays both tires were once again replaced and management was notifed via email and in person. The problem was the interim manager thought I had to move my car though she was copied on the correspondence concerning flat tires and copied on the email when they were repaired. Instead of calling me or replying to the email chain she was copied on or knocking on my door, she took the initiative to have the car towed thinking I had to have it moved which makes no sense since it had been parked in the same spot for the previous year, day after day. And in fact no one tried to back step fault or point blame anywhere else they fully acknowledged fault... so one would think they would take the initiative to get the car returned right? NO ! THIS NEVER HAPPENED. Instead any questions went unanswered and promises to get back with me never happened.I believe what happened to my car was mischief; but the fact is it did happen and it happened twice and its something to consider if safety is a factor; especially in light of another incident that occurred just outside my balcony. One evening 3 people got into an argument which resulted in two of the people being shot, isolated event or a matter of concern... that is up to you. I know other people have posted negative reviews concerning this property and you would think they would do their best to resolve problems but instead on two occasions I was asked by “STAFF” to post positive reviews on social media sites because they have had a recent wave of negative reviews. Correct me if Im wrong but the way to fix negative reviews is to figure out what youre doing wrong and apparently Im not the only one talking, theyre just not listening. What happened to me will probably never happen to you or most people but the fact remains at one point in time it was a small problem that couldve easily been fixed and it wasnt; this is something you may want to consider. There are a lot of properties in the area and you may want to take your time to read the reviews and do a little due diligence before making a big decision about where you want to live.

Worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived at!!!! First of all our apartment was broken into and there is no cameras that were able to help us figure out any suspects. Secondly the floors are paper thin and you will hear everything your neighbors do. When moving out they will nickel and dime you as much as possible.
