Heidi and Stephanie are the BEST! They are so polite and helpful! The apartments are in a great location for the price as well!

Office staff is very nice! Heidi and Stephanie made my move in transition easy. Maintenance is also very attentive. Being by the lake is so nice it’s such a beautiful area to live by, I personally love it.

Pros: close to lake, trails, and airport. Decent value apartments for a lower budget. Heidi is very friendly and does what she can to help.Cons: Phyllis was the rudest office staff I’ve ever encountered at any place I’ve lived. The way she talks to residents is very disrespectful. Apartments are really old with old single pane windows so high ac bill and generally noisy (can hear every single time a car drives over the speed bump from inside the apt). The water wouldn’t get hot, only warm. Water was shut off often to repair the old pipes. Most of the time notice was given ahead of time before shut off but not always. Water pressure is weak. Shower head is way too low for average person. The layout online showed washer and dryer connections but my specific apartment didn’t have them, only a second closet. Lastly they allow residents to smoke cigs inside and the smell goes into neighboring apartments which was a health concern and generally unpleasant.

I have been here for two years and still love it. The people are friendly, my daughter and I feel safe and it is a quiet and a smaller complex. Those are the main things I would look for in a community. The location is perfect and the price is affordable. I would give five stars ⭐️ if the pool and fitness room were open all the time. 🙂

Had to call three times just fix the AC of a newly pregnant couple, submitted two work order requests. Called the emergency line and the maintenance man answered saying he lives 45 minutes away and basically he’s not coming. Lived here for a year now and the maintenance guys are all condescending to say the least, I’m not calling because i want too but because i pay rent here.

Mostly quiet apartments right by the lake. One of the few affordable apartments in Grapevine.

If I could give this place 1/2 a star I would. The only reason they are getting one star is because it’s next to the grapevine lake and has a beautiful trail. The location is pretty terrible as everything closes at 10 pm or sooner and this is before Covid. The parking lot is terrible there’s never any parking spots available and the parking is so small people ding your cars all the time. They have broken down cars all the time. The pool was not maintained during non season. I’m talking nasty green and debris. The office staff is rude and unprofessional. Not a friendly community staff and no events for the family. The balcony size fits 2 people in foldable chairs with no space for anything else. The kitchen storage is extremely limited with no room for 2 people in there at a time and extremely limited cabinet space. Prepare to buy a shelf for the living room for cabinet space. The pantry and fridge are small and is not big enough for 3 people. The ac units are old and do not pump cold air through. The ac went out 3 times in 6 months and don’t get me started on the hot water. That was practically non existent and went out more than I can count. The building is extremely old so you can hear your neighbors take a shower so you have to close the door to block the sound. The dog park area is filled with stickers and the nature is awful if you like a ton of wasps on your balcony that go in ALL THE HOLES of the foundation and if you like mocking jays and birds squealing at 3 am than this is the place for you. Absolutely terrible.

The management here is really terrible, not even sure how they are employed still. Valiant Residential, please investigate. Our parking lot has been torn up for months now, limiting the already minimal parking. There are constant hot water shutoffs. Bunch of dirt and rocks everywhere that will hit your car when they run the leaf blowers instead of them planting grass. Someone needs to report this place to the city.

For the price you pay for a 2 bedroom you can get a much nicer apartment, this apartment was built in the 80s and its shows. Hot water is constantly going out, in the summer time the a/c goes out constantly because the units are old af! Parking is horrendous, barely any space to get out of the car, if you like to reverse into the parking spot the bar will be in the way for either you or your passenger. Kitchen appliances are old, if you get an apartment that has a fireplace you balcony spacing will be limited (very small). Another thing is that the water literally takes about five min to warm up and when it does there is no in between, its either super hot or cold. Didnt really have too much contact with the management, but when I did it was short and the black lady who sits up front is rude and short tempered, not very friendly at all. Heide was nice but seems like she has a lot going on due to poor support. About the only thing that is nice about this apartment is the location, five min walk to the lake and there is a really nice bike trail. All in all I would not recommend this place. Most of the 5 star reviews are from 3 years ago so take those with a grain of salt. I did not enjoy my time at that apartment and only looked forward to the time I could move out.

Living at Marina Del Rey is the best part of city/country living. Heidi and Maurice are very thoughtful and engaged managers. Cruz and all of the maintenance men are very knowledgeable and conscientious and good guys. The residents are really nice and friendly and happy to be here like me. Absolutely loved living in these apartments!!!! Michelle and Heidi in the office are the sweetest and were always very helpful and accommodating. Beautiful location near Main St. Grapevine and very close to the lake. Neighbors were great; I loved the atmosphere of the community. Great price for comfortable and well kept apartment. Parking can be tight sometimes, but other than that, I had a wonderful experience living here. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for apartments in the area!

I moved in 6 months ago and I love it. The apartment is comfy and cozy and the staff is very responsive if theres ever a problem--of which there have been very few! The neighborhood is great and its close to Lake Grapevine and hiking/running/riding trails. It is also close to every store or restaurant you could imagine. Great place to live!

Dont fall for all the current positive reviews! Look at the previous low star ratings. Awhile back, management sent our fliers that they were giving away money off rent for positive reviews online. Notice all the positive reviews are posted around the same time. BTW, my apartment had black mold, roaches coming up the drains, dogs barking and loud music long into the night, and no parking. There are broken down cars in the lot and some of these apartments have about a dozen people living there, and they all have cars. Location is the only thing this complex has going for it. Oh, and dont even get me start on Heidi in the office. She knows what to say as any other greasy-slick-used-car-type-salesperson does. When you have been through the ringer, remember that I told ya so!

My other half and I love these apartments in beautiful Grapevine that is located just a short distance from the lake! Neighbors are friendly and we love how close it is to Main Street shops. This was our first apartment together as a couple and it has plenty of space even for a 1 bedroom and the price was just right! Michelle and Heidi in the office are always super helpful!

Great price in a beautiful area! Office staff and maintenance are very friendly and they take care of requests quickly.The only complaint I have is that a lot of people who live here dont pick up after their pets. There are signs posted and poop bags are provided in the complex, but residents dont seem to care/be responsible for their pets. I know the apartment staff is doing what they can to prevent this, so I have nothing against them, but as for PET OWNERS: BE RESPONSIBLE AND PICK UP YOUR DOGS POO!

Although there is a small issue, they got it fixed quick. It may take me few days to validate but their attitude I was quite satisfied, so I change it to 5 stars. The apartment I think it is good comparing to the price.

I really dont understand all the bad reviews written for this property. Been living here since February and never had an issue.The ladies in the office are great. Maintenance is good too. So i really dont see the issue. If you see a roach, pest control is there every wednesday. CALL THAT IN and they will spray your unit. Anyways, I love living here. Will continue to live here for a very long time. Location is GREAT. Close to the school, parks, lake, restaurants, mall, etc.

I have been a resident for about an year here and I really liked the place. I recently paid a deposit to move into a 1bhk apartment and I have been told now that they wont be able to accommodate on the said move in date after having my application and deposit for 2 months. They have a different apartment available but they are refusing to shift me to it as I think they are holding out to rent it to someone else for a higher price. This is turning out to be extremely unprofessional and a nightmare.Update:Heidi and Maurice worked on my situation and were really helpful in resolving it by finding a different apartment. I look forward to staying here for a long time.

I gave Marina Del Rey 5 stars!! Me and my boyfriend decided to give it another year lease. Michelle and Hedi are great managers, and the working staff, Safe area, youre near by a lot good restaurants and other goodies.

I havent started living here yet but so far its been frustrating, the ladies in the office dont seem very organized and i feel like the information im getting is all over the placr betwern the two of them. Stay posted.

It was a nice apartment complex although it had its issues. The leasing office was very professional and very nice especially during my tough times. My only complaint would be the regular weekly water shut off for repairs.

Was trying to lease here. I submitted my application fee and deposit when they told me they had an apartment available on the 1st floor. Then all went downhill.Next week they said its no longer available and tried to pressure me into an apartment that I did not apply for.Look, some people have back problems and cannot afford this dishonesty. In fact I dont know anyone who goes around submitting application fees because they can simply afford it.DO NOT TRY TO LEASE AN APARTMENT THAT STILL HAS PEOPLE LIVING INSIDE, JESUS CHRIST. I thought this was a no-brainer but apparently this complex does not plan on cleaning between tenants????? GROSS.How about you put it up for rent when its empty and cleaned like normal folks.Edit: to the owners response: above in capital letters was what made my experience awful. Also, see the leasing agents about removing apartment 1308 from the list of available apartments because apparently there is a debate about the existing tenants citizenship. There shouldnt be anyone there period if the apartment is supposedly availableUpdate: 9 months later, no follow-up from this establishment. Good riddance. Your reputation with me is beyond tarnished.

This is very bad place , the managment office they very mean and they treat us very bad , I hate marina del Rey Apartments because of the managment office, and they do mistakes and we had to pay for them mistake, please I need to talk to somebody own this property , I dont recommend this place for anybody because of the managment office, haidy and the other lady

Ive lived here about 3 months now and Ive enjoyed it very much. The management is helpful when I have a maintenance request and the pool and workout facility are very nice and well-kept. We have an apartment with washer/dryer hookups in the unit (we have our own washer and dryer) so laundry is nice and easy!My only complaint is the children in the workout facility. Its only happened a few times but since there are so few machines when a kid is just playing around on the machine its inconvenient to have to wait for them to get off. Its not a playplace, and Ive seen very young children there (younger than 5) and I know that some people dont have daycare but I dont want to have to worry about a small child getting in the way when Im working out.All in all its been a great experience so far! Very nice place to live!

Stayed here for about a year until i found out i had to relocate. Very quiet place to live , my neighbors were friendly. But when I got ready to move thats when everything switched . I asked about my deposit back which he stated my deposit was going to take care of my last month water bill . So then i asked about the remainder of the deposit he stated give him 3 weeks than check my email. 3 weeks came i didnt hear back from them so i called, She picked up the phone and stated im not getting my deposit back because it looked like heavy traffic was coming in and out my house due to the carpet remind you i stayed by myself i am a nursing college kid and my home town is 3 hours away. Then i explained to her that i do not even know anyone in this area i went from school to work then she also stated well it also looks like you had a pet in the home. First of all i am allergic to cats and afriad of dogs. I just didn’t understand where she was coming up with all these lies to not give me back my deposit. Then on top of that they just had remodeled the apartment before i moved in. With that being said 3 months later I received a phone call from her stated she need current address because i had a water bill i need to pay. He already told me my 200 deposit that i did not get back was going to cover my last water bill. What in the devil did yall use my 200 dollars deposit on the heavy traffic carpet that you lied about because nothing was wrong with the carpet!!!!!!!

Staff-Office staff are polite and very responsive. Maintenance is fast about completing work orders.Apartments-I live in the 600sqft 1 bedroom. Its small, but its enough for me and my husband. The rent here is cheaper than anywhere in Grapevine and we get a 10% rent discount for working in customer service. The apartment complex is upkept by the groundskeeper. The laundry facilities are clean and small. Some of the washers dont work, but there are 3 different laundry facilities on the complex. The pool is not overcrowded usually and goes to 7ft in the deepest part. Parking is hard because the slots are tight. Neighbors are quiet and keep to themselves. Kids play in the summer and after school but are done playing by dark. Pests are virtually none existent if you keep your home clean.Overall great experience!

These apartments are disgusting! The only reason we moved here was because it was cheap, close to the lake and we didnt know how long we would be in the area. The drains are always clogged so bad, that water bubbles up on its own and worms come out of the drain. There are roaches everywhere. Its worse if you ask them to treat it because they use all natural crap that doesnt kill the roaches. The best way to keep them out is to keep both sinks in the kitchen plugged at all times. There have been animals in the chimney. There are fireplaces and the smell was so bad when we moved in, we went to lowes and had a piece of sheet rock made to close the fireplace. Also, when we moved in, we were told that the person before us lived here for 21 years. They said they replace the carpets every time someone moves out, but when we would walk around barefoot, our feet would be black from the fireplace dust everywhere. They insisted that they were new carpets, but we made them clean them twice before our feet werent turning black anymore. There are unsupervised kids running all over the parking lot barefoot all day every day and some of them are like one year old. The manager, Heidi is a professional BSer and very rude. If you still think you want to save a couple hundred bucks a month by living here, then more power to ya.

Nothing but an incredible experience here. Management is great, the leasing office is helpful and the staff is nice, the place is kept up to perfection, and its just a nice, quiet place to live.

Do not move here!!!!! I had to complain to management 6 time befor they fixed the hot water to get hotter than 96F!!!! I had accidently spelt an ice chest of water in my dinning room and my nabors down stairs told me it flooded their dinning room too!!!! The dumpsters are always full!!!! I was almost robed in the parking lot!!! My dishwash does not work well at all and on top of that the water shuts off on a weekly basis!!!! i turn my water on when its of and AIR shoots out!!! If there is air in the pipes so is bacteria the water does not get hot enough to kill it!!!! The Laundry rooms should just be closed down NONE of the machines are clean inside!!!!!! Poo is everywhere and management doesnt care to say pick up ur poo or leave!!! Anytime you complain to management it take days to be fixed!!! I signed a 13 month lease after 3 months me and my husband left!!! Parking perment???? Hahaha whats the point, they dont give you a sticker so just anyone park in the covered area (residents friends). The cabnets in the kitchen are rotted wood they painted sever really thick coats of paint on them!!! There is only ONE cable connect in the living room. The living room has NO light at all!!! DO NOT move here it is called the A**hole of grapevine by everyone!! Grapevine, Texas is a great place to live so just make sure you chose a better apt.
