Christian Brothers Cascade consistently does a phenomenal job. They always go above and beyond and their staff is incredibly kind and helpful! I cannot recommend this place enough. They always find room in their schedule to get me in, even on short notice. If I could give them more than just 5/5 stars, I would!! Absolutely stellar!!

I found a nail in my tire and I stopped in on a coworkers recommendation. Everyone was extremely friendly and had tire repaired quickly and efficiently. Not to mention they were kind enough to offer a shuttle service to bring me to and from work once it was ready. Will definitely be returning for any and all tire issues/purchases in the future.

I brought my vehicle in the other day for an oil change, tire rotation, and general inspection. The front desk staff were friendly and the waiting room couch/chairs are very comfy. I really liked the electronic inspection report they include. It is sent to your email/phone and includes details of everything that was done/looked over as well as any service recommendations - they even include photos. I was a little surprised by the price - I paid almost $90 just for an oil change. They wanted $25 just for an engine air filter - I declined. Even for a full synthetic change, thats quite a bit more than Ive paid in the past. Its not even that much at the Mazda dealer service center down the road. I appreciated the friendly service and thorough inspection but I think I will take my vehicle elsewhere next time.

I felt like I was a part of the family from the start. I was welcomed and walked through exactly what was wrong with my car. Doug and Brooke kept in contact with me and Pam was a joy to talk to on the courtesy ride to work. You can tell everyone there has pride in their company and making the customer experience top notch. Very professional and knowledgeable. I had my tires rotated and they walked me through some things they saw. Not being as versed in vehicles as I should be, I found this comforting and extremely helpful. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

I called for same day service, they worked my vehicle into their schedule. The alignment was still off, contacted Brooke and she asked one question how soon could I bring the vehicle back for a test drive and reinspection.Immediately upon my arrival, the tech Matt came out and we took off for a test drive. He observed the drifting off center and offered a couple of reasons hed check into. The issue was resolved.Now, I know there will be those who take the position, it should have been taken care of on the initial visit. BUT I discovered the problem while using cruise control and I dont know whether ANY shop when performing a test drive turns on the cruise control.Weve won my future business and I will recommend them to everyone!

Will they fix your car? Probably. Do they charge way too much? Yes! Do they take longer then they tell you? Yes. They told me it would be done early in the morning and I got call that it was done around 3pm. Kinda hard to plan your day around their inconsistent time frame. Also they left oil and grease on my seat, steering wheel, and center console. Not fun to clean up your car interior when you just paid them $1500 for an $800 job. The workers were fine but go somewhere cheaper that will actually do an alignment properly.

I called ahead to schedule an oil change, battery check, and brake check on my 2000 GMC Savana 3500 box truck. The gentleman I spoke to (Kirk or Kurt) was very polite and said he wasnt sure my truck would fit in their bay, but if Id come over theyd check and let me know. He asked several questions about the trucks size and specifications. He did not, however, ask about the weight or back wheels.When I walked in, a different man asked what I needed and I said hi my names ____, I called this morning and made an appointment to see about my box truck. He said well what are we doing to it? I said the gentleman on the phone took down lots of details already. Can you look up my appointment?He grudgingly looked it up and then asked me if its a 1-ton and whether it has dual sets of wheels on the back. I said yes to both. He said well my hoist cant lift that and left it at that.So if my truck being a 1-ton and having dual back wheels is an automatic No, why not ask me by phone instead of waiting until I got there? I was fine coming by to see if the bay was big enough, but nobody mentioned the weight issue. This was a silly waste of time and effort.

When I first started bringing my vehicle here, they put the service in service station. The last time, not so much. I had to call them to find out what was going on with my van. After two days, they didn’t find out what the problem was.When it broke down a few days after I got it back, I tested and replaced the battery. Problem solved.This bad experience, and the fact that their charges are on the high side, will cause me to look for a new mechanic.

7/22 UPDATE: CB takes customer service seriously. Brooke reached out and discussed our concerns and did everything in her power to get the part back in time. Success! Brooke also made sure we were kept in the loop on the repair timeline. Although the repair took longer than expected, CB held up their end of the bargain.*********************My husband took in our van for an oil change on Tues July 13th. The shop recommended a repair and said the vehicle would be finished Wed July 21st at the latest. Unfortunately, the timeline keeps shifting and our vehicle is not finished on the expected date.

Had a great experience with Christian Brothers. Brooke took the time to show me the issue I had with my tire and offered a few potential solutions. I have been here a few times with various vehicles and have always had a positive experience. Would highly recommend for any vehicle issues.

These guys are awesome. Ill keep coming back. They send you a fantastic email report with all of the findings and recommendations and you can approve them and pay all online. They seek out ways to make your bill cheaper even after you have approved the larger amount. And even when they make a mistake they own up to it and make it right. I love having a shop I can trust.

I was having one of those days. I was in Meijer cascade when I came out I realized that I locked my keys in my truck. My battery was dead. I tried for an hour to unlock the doors but wasnt happening. I was to the point where Im going to just smash out my small side window. As a last resort before that I walked to Christian brothers. When I walked in Dave greeted me. He was a nice man asked how he could help. I explained what happened. Without hesitation he said Ill help you with that. We went to my truck with in a minute my door was unlocked. Dave was great he said I didnt owe him anything we shook hands and I was on my way. THANK YOU DAVE!! Glad to know there is still great people willing to help people out. I will be using this business if I need any repairs.

Honest and friendly people who do everything they can for you. Theyre up front and thorough, detailed and quick. They dont push extra repairs on you. And theyll drive you home and pick you up if you dont have a ride!

They took good care of us .. Shuttled us back and forth from the mall while our truck was worked on. Then when something unexpected happen to our truck they went above and beyond to fix the problem. My scrape plate was hanging off of my car and this was my first time going to this auto repair. They had me back on the road in less than a half hour! The facility was comfortable to wait in and they were very accommodating and friendly. Would 100% recommend this place. I have never been this impressed with an auto repair shop like the Cascade Christian Brothers!

I received wonderful service from Brooke at Christian Brothers in Cascade. I needed my brakes repaired on my Hyundai and they gave informative and fast service. I also had them look at my Chevy Silverado and they gave me a detailed diagnostic with great recommendations based on urgency. I definitely will be using them again!

The lady up front was great! & everything was done almost to the minute of her approximation! The atmosphere was homey and they made sure the wait was pleasant! Will use them again!

Would not recommend anyone going here! Would give ZERO stars if it was an option. I only went because my job is close, so I could drop off and go to work. I told them what the issue was, just needed a sensor reset., they charged me 150$ for “diagnosing the problem” I already knew and told them what the problem was. Then the guy tells me I need 1,700$ worth of parts and labor. I declined and went to “Mason Street Garage” who reset the sensor for FREE. Christian Brothers more like Scam artists! How dare they claim to be Christian!

If I could give them a 10/5 stars I would! I was in a pinch to get my car fixed - they took me in less than an hour before closing - it was done by lunch time the next morning. Brooke is such a sweetheart and the staff really do take care of you (including accommodating to a hectic schedule). As a female you just don’t get that kind of assurance at other auto repair shops. I will be coming here for all my car needs in the future. Thank you again!

I’m very impressed with the customer service at Christian Brothers Automotive! I was nine months pregnant and locked my keys in the car during the cold Michigan winter! I made a quick call to Christian Brothers Automotive and Dave didn’t hesitate to help me out even though they were about to close for the day! He showed up within 10 minutes and was able to unlock my car and send me on my way! I will be bringing my car here in the future based upon the awesome customer service and professionalism!

They helped me right away when I came in with a tire with very low air pressure. They were so kind and inspected my tire at no cost!

They didnt tighten my passenger side caliper after they worked on my vehicle. My brakes went out and I was stuck on the side of the highway for 3 hours. Luckily, I was at a place where I was able to allow the grass to stop me, or me and my children, who were in the car at the time, could have been seriously injured.The service was over-priced, incredibly slow (they had my car for 4 days for 3 hours worth of work.) I changed my 4-star rating as they put my life at risk because of sheer neglecence. I will, personally, NEVER bring my car here again.

Gave them a call around 5:30p to let them know my car was being towed in. The staff who answered was very friendly and said they can look at the car first thing in the morning. I got a call around 9a that everything looked okay. The staff did a full inspection and they see no issues. I asked if they could double check as I’m almost full term in my pregnancy and would hate for an accident to happen. After another look behind the tires and a test drive they assured me that there is no issue and it was likely just a rock stuck in the tire. Around 4p I picked up the car, expecting to pay for the service but they waived the fee since there wasn’t anything wrong and said “congratulations on the baby.” Highly recommend and will keep them in mind for future automotive issues.

Both Sam and Mike were very helpful. I really appreciated their open and constant communication. The work was done in a timely fashion and with great care. Lastly, the pricing was fair and I didn’t feel like I was being pushed to buy anything that I didn’t actually need. Thanks for the great experience.

I stopped at the Meijer gas station because my tired needed air. By the time I got there my tire was almost flat. Of course the air pump didn’t work at the gas station. I called Christian Brothers and a wonderful young lady drove out to put air in my tire so I could make it to the shop. She got me right in to get it fixed! I can’t tell you how much that meant to me. They diagnosed the service engine light that came on in my vehicle. It ended up being ignition coils and spark plugs. They were honest and friendly from the start, were able to get me in immediately without scheduling an appointment, the turnaround time was very fast, and they had a shuttle service pick me up from work so I could get my car. It was a very good experience overall.

I locked myself out of my car and thankfully they were next door! Helped me so fast and had me on my way in no time! Great people there.

My car problems started with only one car and turned into both of my vehicles (mine and my husbands). They took the time to listen to what I thought the problem was before taking a look at it and finding the actual problem. I appreciate their honesty about what fixes are best and the prices they charged for each service. I am planning to get my husbands car fixed with them soon now that mine is all set. Good, friendly service, and trustworthy repairs.

I have never written a bad review (except that full disclosure I also posted this on yelp), but I am so disturbed by the situation I feel compelled to do so because I do not want anyone else to get swindled or ripped off by Christian Brothers Automotive. Please readI took my car in for an oil change, my second here within a coupe of months because I drive pretty far for work so I have frequent oil changes. I dropped off my car and went to find breakfast. About an hour later I received a call that there was a leak they would like to check ($50) and I needed an engine flush (I do not do engine flushes as I have been told by many people, including a mechanic, that this is bad for your car). I said no to the engine flush, but felt nervous that they found a leak and told them to go ahead and do it.I walked back to Christian Brothers and waiting for them to tell me the findings with the leak. They finally called me over to tell me their findings. They told me that “both front inner axle boots were torn and leaking grease” and recommended that I replace both front CV axles. They told me the cost for this was going to be $1,083.92. I don’t know about you, but I cannot just casually drop $1k so I said no and that I needed to consult my husband. I felt uncomfortable at that point because I felt a little pressured.I immediately called my brother-in-law (who owns a business so he does all the work on his many trucks) He informed me that first, the piece to fix this can be found for $100 so he didn’t understand how it would add up to $1k even with labor (the parts are listed as over $200 and my mechanic told me he could get the part for $80) and that second, for a car as nw as mine (2017) it would take a pretty dramatic hit to tear one axle let alone one. He told me to get a second opinion because at the very least someone else could do it for SIGNIFICANTLY less.I took my car to a one man shop in Lansing, MI who has maintained and repaired my parents cars for decades with zero issues (Shep’s Garage if you’re made this far in my story). Tony called me twice while he had my car to make sure that he completely understood what Christian Broths Automotive had told me was wrong with my car because he was so baffled. He stated that there was literally nothing wrong with my car and he could not even find any leaks. I left my car with him all day so that he could do a thorough inspection and he found nothing.I received a phone call a couple days later because I had rated Christian Brothers poorly in an email they had sent me. I explained what happened and I was first made to feel like I might not have explained it properly to my mechanic, which was insulting as I have the explanation of what is wrong and the price printed out from Christian Brothers. I can read off of a page so I definitely told my mechanic the correct information. She seemed to feel genuinely bad about the situation and apologized, however she also explained to me for probably 5 minutes that he could’ve been a miscommunication or a misunderstanding. Even so that is a $1,000 misunderstanding so that doesn’t make me feel better at all and makes me want to go back even less.I know not everyone has someone who knows a lot about cars that they can call so I wanted to write this to try to help someone who might be in the same situation and not know what to do.Anyway, that is my situation. I really hope it helps save someone from being ripped off and paying for a problem that is completely fictional.

I have been taking my vehicles to the Christian Brothers location at Eastern and 28th street for 3 years. Now using the Cascade location (Both locations owned by same owner) Very honest, dependable and fair. Highly recommend.

My first experience at CBA. Guys were very polite and knowledgable. Gave me a ride home and then picked me up when the car was done. They balanced tires, changed oil, some brake work and inspected the vehicle. I had some persistent issues with feeling like the tires were not properly balanced just 3,000 miles earlier. These guys nailed the tricky balancing issue and the car drives without any shimmy. I felt that the service they performed was fairly priced although not the cheapest, but Im confident that the work they did was required and expertly done.
