I went to the spa for my birthday with some friends. We bought packages and spend a lot of money when we went. My package included a manicure. I upgraded my manicure to gel knowing there would be an additional cost. I ended up paying and extra $70 on top of my package. I spoke to the front staff that I shouldnt have to pay for a complete set of gel nails on top of my package but just what the additional cost was for gel instead of a manicure. I left paying only for the upgrade. I got a call from the front desk 10 minutes later saying their manager told them to charge my credit card for the extra amount. This is just bad business! None of us will be returning.

First time here. Got the El Bella pedicure with my daughter. Leg massage was good,but barely a foot massage at all :(. I have very minor caluses that she said they charge 5 dollars extra to do? My pedicure was a step up from the regular...it should have been automatic. Nice nail art though for 5 bucks. As a trained manicurist,my feet should have been soft and feet massaged.

The salon wouldnt accept a gift card that was purchased in 2019. I explained to them because of Covid-19 I didnt have any non essential services. I just recently was vaccinated and felt safe enough to go to the salon. The manager would not accept the spa certificate (which was a gift) because it had expired. She would not make an exception because of Covid-19 to provide the service now that I felt safe to go into a salon. She even was so rude she disconnected the call without even letting me finish reasoning with her.Absolutely not willing to help me. They were paid for services that were never provided.I would have given them zero stars but had to give them one just to be able to post this review.

One of the few places I will go to get my nails done. They look great and last a long time everytime.

I went to the higley and queen creek location to get my toes done and let me tell you I am VERY disappointed. They are so poorly done and not only are mine done terrible but I was with my mom and hers are also done VERY terribly. It’s all over my skin and honestly my little brother probably could’ve done a better job. Also to top it all off my massage chair didn’t even work. I wont be returning ever again cause that was just so embarrassing.

My name is Linda Thomas. I,have been going to this SPA for almost 11 yrs. David always does a great job on my hair. I Love that they are open 7 days a week and their pricing is reasonable. I moved from Gilbert to Apache Junction 3,5 yrs ago.and now travel 45 minutes just to have David do my hair. I also have pedicures done at this SPA. Out of almost 11 years, I only had 2 pedicures I wasnt pleased with.. The only reason i didnt give 5 stars is because several of their employees doing pedicures spend way too much time talking and giggling with each which increases the time it takes to finish with customers.

Stacey did a great cut and Kimberly did a wonderful job on microblading my eyebrows.

Me and my sister went there on 10/15/20 after 4:30pm to have some special time together since we do not have much things to do because of COVID and We had the worst experience. The receptionists were not professionals and I had to wait by the counter to pay,God knows for how long, while they were having their chitchat.we even had to cancel our massage appointment for the next day. The lady and the guy(Tom) who made our nails were awesome.

David gives a totally worthwhile haircut experience! Also a their mani/pedi combo is a great self care treat!

My sister and I had amazing facials here! The pricing was the most reasonable I could find and the whole thing was fantastic and my face is still glowing and so smooth! I was able to make us appts at the same time for the following day, which was so nice. We were taken back a few mins early - no wasted time filling out a bunch of paperwork or consulting other than a couple quick questions - so we got a full 60 min facial! I also appreciated that they didnt try to sell me any products afterwards. It was a very relaxing and therapeutic experience and we will be back! Vicky did mine and was amazing!! Also, the receptionist was very kind and called me back after placing me on hold. She greeted us by name when we entered, anticipating our appointments. Thank you!

Amazing deep tissue massage by Bradison!

I got my acrylic on Friday and the following Tuesday one had already broke. my nails are already lifting up and it hasn’t even been two weeks since i got my nails done. i’ll never come back. nice clean place but the price i paid wasn’t even close to the quality of the nails.

I recently booked the El Bella spa package and had the best experience. The atmosphere is light and friendly. The rooms and stations are clean. The only things it would have take to make this a 5 star review is clarity on up-charges and slightly faster nail service.

My Daughter and I had the best experience. We had Facials together and the ladies that did our facials were amazing. I had booked a Facial and Pedicure combination. Receptionist was very friendly and professional. Pedicures were not as enjoyable as the Facials. But it would be hard to match that experience. My Daughter and I are already planning our next Facial. Thank you for making our Mother/Daughter day so special.

Normally I have good experiences here, but this time around I got gel nails and four days later the paint started to pop up. As you can see the paint came completely off in one chunk. Ive taken gels off by peeling them, but never do they come off in one piece. I dont know what went wrong, but I do know that I will not be returning.

My friends and I enjoyed a spa package. It was truly a wonderful experience. We felt so relaxed and peaceful after our massage, facial, manicure and pedicure. The staff was amazing too. I look forward to my next visit.

I had a manicure with Mel and it was a complete disaster. She never soaked my hands didnt use nail polish remover to remove old polish just tried to file it off. She dry rammed my cuticles and never trimmed up loose dead skin. Then she kept filing her nails while trying to file mine. She did two fingers on each hand at a time kept messing them up with her own nails. It felt like she was going to rip my thumb off she was yanking it so much to try and paint it. Then she got gel polish all over my fingers and the French white tips were so thick it was awful. I couldnt get out of there fast enough.

The salon is clean, friendly and very reasonably priced! One stop shopping for all of your beauty needs. I highly recommend El Bella; your business is important to them!

Always a good experience. Mai did my mani and pedi and was great. And the girl who did my wax was great.

I got acrylic nails (Mon ). After 2 days I noticed they were lifting at the base (Tues). The next day I came back in and they placed nail glue (Wed). The next day I noticed they were lifting more so I bought nail glue to try and keep them on as I was on vacation. Today (Tuesday) I came back to the shop showed them my nails and got them removed. After expressing my disappointment the manager offered to only charge me $9 instead of $10. So I paid for nail glue, the acrylic nails w/gel, and now their removal. I would not suggest getting acrylics here.

I love this day spa! I just get my nails done, but all the girls are so nice!!! If you are thinking of going for a pedicure/manicure, I recommend Kim!! Shes terrific!! The receptionists are very kind and considerate. Its very clean...Ask for Kim!!!! You wont be disappointed. If Kim is busy, Vicky is also excellent.

Whether its nails, hair, massages, eyelashes or other services you seek, this salon/spa has it all! They have experienced employees who are friendly, considerate and, if by the off chance that theyve made a mistake, they will go above and beyond to make things right. Ive been fortunate in the fact that Ive been a client of theirs for years, which is why I find it strange that others on this site have posted not so friendly reviews. I would highly recommend this place and I also sincerely question anyone who has something negative to say.

I have been going here for a long time. I absolutely love this place. They always do my gel nails amazingly. Also when I tell then I want my eyebrows cleaned up, they always do it so perfect. My friends always ask me where I get my nails and eyebrows done, I say El Bella Day Spa an since then 2 of my friends have come here and said how great this place is.

Amy is the best. I get a Brazilian Blowout every few months and my hair turns out smooth and healthy. My bleach highlights are always amazing! She is good at talking me into new styles while keeping in mind that I still want long hair.

I went there to get my nails done here Jan 31, 2020. I had asked for regular acrylics. I had never gotten acrylics before so it was new to me and I was a bit nervous about it because I usually am not a fan of long nails so I always strayed away from acrylics. The guy who did my nails was face timing a girl with his earbuds in the entire time he was doing my nails. I tried to ignore it and focus more on how he was doing with my nails. When he was drilling my nails, he kept getting my fingers and it hurt so I kept flinching and tensing up. He just kept saying “relax, relax” and continued to get my fingers with the drill. He wasn’t gentle at all and kept hurting my hand and filing was awful because he was so rough with it and my nails were already so sensitive after all the drilling he had done. He also never once asked if I was okay, he just kept being rough with my nails. He took over an hour to do my nails and they looked awful. I was not happy with them and I got them removed today at a different salon and they said my nails were drilled so much that they were super thin and fragile and they looked so ugly! They did a deep manicure to save my natural nails. He ruined my natural nails.

Im giving them 0 stars! I cant even get the words out how bad my experience was! I HAD long beautiful hair when I came in and now will have hair up to my ears! This place should not even be in business! If there was an option to post a pic of how bad my hair is I would! NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!

I got the most incredible massage by Sheila. She knows her stuff and she knew how to heal me rather than give a light massage that, yes, is relaxing but I needed a deep, therapeutic massage. She was knowledgeable about why I was in pain and helped steer me in the right direction in looking for permanent improvement. If you want a deep tissue, therapeutic massage Sheila is your girl!

Mindy has been highlighting and cutting my hair for several years now at El Bella Day Spa in Gilbert. She is very professional and caring but best of all, I always leave the salon looking fabulous. She is great at what she does and I am very dedicated to her! 😊 😉

The worst experience with my eyelash extensions. I had stopped going here for nails because of how unfriendly they were. I thought oh there extensions cant be as bad. I have been getting extensions for over a year and actually do eyelash extensions as a business. I know what is good and what is bad. They are completely glued to my skin and laying on top of my lashes. They are not glued to each individual lash like they are suppose to be. I paid $50 for a fill and called to get my money back after but they said the manager would call me later. I did not get a phone call, which is extremely rude, and probably wont get my money back either. I have been trying to get them off with my eyelash remover and they arent coming off. Big issue when my eyes are swelling and red. Do not get your lashes done here.

I have been going to El Bella for a decade but I am absolutely DONE! I had an appt. scheduled for a pedi recently, rushed over from work and they had me sitting for 30 minutes so I finally walked out. There was almost no one there, just two other people getting pedis. Ive seen it way busier. I was waiting for about 10-15 minutes in the lobby. I was finally called back to a (very dirty) chair. I had requested Hannah when I scheduled my appt.This was my first time seeing Hannah as someone else in my family had seen her before. We have been seeing Nancy for years, but she has supposedly been on vacation for the last 2 months and Im told every time I request her that no one knows when she returns from vacation.I was finally called back to a chair and was sitting there for another 15 minutes. The woman next to me doing another persons pedi repeatedly called Hannah from the back. Hannah came out twice, looked at me, then returned to the back, saying something in a nasty way to the other woman using another language. At that point, I could tell Hannah was not into doing her job and I was not going to sit there any longer and wait for her to come out a 3rd time in a bad mood. I dried my feet, went up front and told them what happened. I was halfway out the door when Hannah came running from the back begging me to get back into the chair. I would not. When the manager or owner was confronted with this situation, she would only say, sorry with nothing else to get us to return to her salon.There are way too many other salons around that would want my business. Salons that are beautiful, have been remodeled and upgraded. The first thing that went wrong even before this was how absolutely DIRTY the pedi chair was. I had to flick something off the arm rest and when I pulled the little attached table up it was so filthy I didnt put my phone on it. My last two times going here, the polish completely chipped in a week, and it used to always last for 3 weeks, until I removed it. This salon has been going downhill for years since the change in ownership several years ago and I will NEVER be returning because they obviously do not care about their customers or the cleanliness of their establishment. It is very sad as I have been frequenting this salon religiously for so many years.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They did a horrible job on my gel nails!!!! The next morning my nails were lifting and one of my nails wasnt even glued down all the way, there were bubbles in my nails and they were either flat or rounded. They dont give refunds so dont plan on paying for more than a pedi. Thats all theyre good at. But even then, Nancy, kept coughing all over me the whole time. Last time I had Nancy, she said she had allergies so I let it be, but when it happened again, I was appalled!! Very unprofessional and nails look horrible!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I cant believe this, full set with gel on Friday, one fell off Saturday. Cloudy and air pockets visible Sunday and another separation today. I was hoping this would last until my next pay day at least. Im not hard on my nails and wear gloves. Ill take my chances some place cheaper.

My friend was super excited to bring us here. She had nothing but positive things to say. The salon is beautiful and I was thrilled, at first. The receptionist was extremely rude. She did not greet us and acted very annoyed because we were there. My friend called in advanced to notify her of our group arriving, even my friend was embarrassed by the behavior of the receptionist. She made facial expressions and nasty comments and we were so uncomfortable that we left. The annoying fact is the place was not that busy and had enough staff and open chairs for each of us. Im very confident that if the owner and management knew of what occurred they would not be pleased.

I was treated so well and so quickly! The staff was so wonderful to me. I got the VIP mani and pedi. The paraffin wax part made me want to fall asleep and hot stones made my heart happy! I would recommend this place to anyone!

I will never go to this place ever again. I received a gift card for Christmas. I tried selling it but couldnt so I booked an appt for a massage. An hour before my appt they called to cancel and offered a complimentary facial for the inconvenience. I finally was able to reschedule for today, 5/12 as they didnt have anything sooner. After the massage and facial they told me the massage was $110 and the facial $75. At the time of booking the girl confirmed that the facial was complimentary and told me the value and the options I had for the value plus the massage was $90. I explained to them today that the facial was to be complimentary but they couldnt find the note in their system and wanted me to pay and still charged me $110 for the massage. I dont know if it was the owner or manager but she didnt care. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Find a better way to track what your staff promises customers. Facial was also terrible. I left with a pound of oil on my face and she screwed up my lashes and eyebrows (she waxed them).

As a former Hairstylist and business owner, if I had not been recommended to David to do my hair, I would have walked right out the first time I stepped in the door. The girls at the front desk were very unfriendly and curt when I came in to make my appointment. My hair stylist, David, was amazing. He is the only reason I will return to this establishment.

I would not recommend this establishment for a haircut. I had Tammi, whom i asked to cut my hair dry and she said no problem. All I wanted was a trim with some blended layers. She took about an inch off but it was visibly uneven. I told her that and she said it was because of how my hair was parted. I told her no its not, one side is longer, she combed it in front of my face and sure enough the one side was 1/2 longer, she then said are you sure you want me to cut that? She argued with me a few times about the eveness. I now have random longer pieces throughout my hair because she used thinning sheers to do layers. She didnt shampoo my hair (per my request), didnt style my hair after it was cut, I was in her chair a max of 15 min and she still charged me $35.

I was super excited to have a facial and left feeling very disappointedand frustrated with with the experience. I did not get my entire hour due to timers being set and excessive hand washing. No pampering for the money - had to ask for lip balm before I left...not a relaxing experience - will not be back.

One of the worst nail jobs I have ever gotten, the lady I had there was very inexperienced and asked ME if she has missed a step or not. Made my nails bleed, even though she knew it was hurting me she just kept doing it. The other technicians were being very rude to me and my friend like we were children. Overall DO NOT GO THERE!! I will never be going back there ever again.

My wife asked for medium brown hair color got VERY BLACK hair! Shes very upset! They told her we will try to fix it. She asked for a refund they said we never give refunds! So she let them try to fix it and now she looks like a brown and black zebra! We are beyond upset...so unprofessional not to give quality work and than not to stand behind their services.Shame on you! Your name should be UNBELLA!

I have been coming to this place for many years now. And my last experience i was dissatisfied. 2 weeks ago I came to get my hair done and eyelashes. My hair stylist is great! Her name is Tammy, I recommend her. And the tech that did my lashes was Kimberly. She carelessly rushed through the process to get me out of there, not to mention she had me waiting after my appointment time. Immediately, when I opened my eyes after she was done, my eyes were bloodshot. She said it will go away. She showed no concern. Well I got my hair done and it just got worst. I mentioned that it could be the glue. Kimberly said that she uses it on everyone and this has never happened. Well, Im not everyone. I went to the eye doctor the next day and it wasnt the glue that was the problem it was her work. There were globs of dried glue in between my lashes. She glued the extensions TO my eyelids, when theyre supposed to be 1-2 mm away from the eyelid ON the real lash. This caused my cornea to get scratched. It happened right when she applied them cause my eyes were bad when I opened them. They had me sign a paper stating they are not liable to any damages. Well, damage was already done the second I opened my eyes. So I asked to remove them the next day. She was so snooty and offended cause I called her out on her sloppy work. My eyes healed after a week later and I went back to set an appointment with Kimberly again assuming she will get it right this time. The receptionist asked what time I can come in tomorrow and all of a sudden Kimberly comes from behind without acknowledging me and she got on the computer and manually blocked every day but the following Wednesday. Didnt speak at all. Then she says she wants a dr.s note from my eye doctor. What are we, in grade school? She caused my scratched cornea and will not take responsibility for it. I was livid! She can easily be reported along with the business. I said I want my money back and she refused. Then she gave up and gave it to me. HORRIBLE customer service and she treats her clients like s*it. I dont recommend Kimberly due to her attitude and unprofessionalism. She shouldnt be servicing customers.

I came in to get my hair fixed because the previous girl who did my hair butchered it and it was all sorts of uneven. Well I got the stylist Tammi from here and was hoping she would be better than the last girl I had. Im a cosmetology student and definetely need to look the part. I let tammi know that I just want a blunt cut and go fix the uneven parts. Well this morning I styled my hair and the right side of my hair was 2 inches shorter than the other side and my hair still was all choppy. Im pretty pissed. I did go back and got another lady, Mindy, whos very great and did an amazing job on my hair but now because of these two incidents, my hair is now 6 inches shorter than what I wanted it to be.

My mom and I went here last weekend to get pedicures. This has to be the worst pedicures we have ever had! The cuticles were not trimmed well at all, and the Polish job haha I could have done a better job in the dark. Save your money ladies and go somewhere else.

I am so happy with new management, complimentary wifi is great! previous owners were terrible and less than friendly. That is why I didn’t worry when I used it. I was trying to explain this to the Kim/owner but she was partially laughing in my face shaking her head NO! I will be submitting a complaint to the BBB. I suggest anyone that has issues do the same. Very unprofessional staff and owner. When I pull up the business in the BBB it shows Mr. Tony Phan as the Owner not Kim like stated in the website.

Have been several times for pedi and gel manis. They always do a great job.

They are about business.. They do a great job with eyebrow waxing, pedis, and manicures. As far as asking the ladies about worker recommendations forget it. There is a communication barrier but they ladies do a nice job. They get you in pretty fast theres hardly any wait. I usually show up as a walkin but you can schedule too.As for hair go on Fridays or Saturdays. Debbie will be working and she is amazing! She has a rockin picture of her family on her station and she knows about hair! Making it voluminousness and beautiful! I felt like a new person after she was done w my hair and she only trimmed up my layers and blow dried it. When she cuts your hair she also educates you on technique an quality. She is a really honest hair stylist. If youre shooting for a specific look.. bring in a picture that way she know exactly what your picturing in your head. Next time I go in Im going to give my self a whole spa treatment! haha..She is experienced with thick hair and knows how to cut my thick wavy hair! I won my gamble soo happy to have found her!Dont be shy start up the convo w her shes great!

****WARNING TOO ALL***** I was told on Friday by Bella (new owner and a very rude person at the front desk) that there is a new owner of this establishment and they aren’t honoring the gift certificates issued by the prior owner. I still had $50.00 left on my certificate that my son bought me. This is NOT the kind of business we want in our neighborhood. Spread the news to everyone in the area and I will certainly be filling a complaint to the BBB.

The milieu is just ok, nothing great, but the customer service and follow through could really use some improvement. We wont be returning.
