I am very satisfied with the work ICE performs.

Brandon the sales rep was easy to work with no issue there, the company stated he is the only sales person so he is extremely busy (caution 1). I agree upon to install two hvac system one for upstairs and one downstairs. I signed the contract and Brandon said he will pull the permit for the gas furnace and water heater (caution 2). First scheduled installation date, one of the crew got sick (no advance notification) and the permit was not approved by the county yet, so we rescheduled it two weeks later. I called the county the day before the second installation to check on the permit status and of course it was still not complete (cation 3). Talked to Brandon and he was busy with an emergency job, so I called the office hoping someone can assist Brandon, and the response from the office was Brandon is the only one with the details nothing we can do here (caution 4). Later that day Brandon called back and said himself I am not going to start the installation without a permit. Didnt hear back from him after that so I went to the office and spoke to the manager Doug. He said because I refuse to have the work installed without a permit, they will not do the job and all the equipment order was already returned (cation 5). Also found out they charged my Wells Fargo account already before the install (caution 6). If you read this review in all I don’t think I should say if I recommend to use them for a new install. The county rep also advice “do not allow contractors to install before the permits are approved.”

Extremely professional. They are there when you need them the most. They are reasonably priced for the service, parts, and and labor. Every service tech shows genuine care for their clients. The yearly maintenance service contract is worth the value received just knowing that your system is functioning properly.

Mike Crelia came out to service our HVAC. After having several other companies (over the past month) servicing our units unsuccessfully, I.C.E. was able to quickly diagnose the problem and get us back up and running. We appreciate their vast knowledge in our specialized field.

The original installation was great and the technicians kept me informed during the entire process. 3 years later, the system wasnt keeping the house warm at night. I called I.C.E. to come look at it and they diagnosed that the thermostat was going bad. The technician informed me that it was under warranty and that he would order it and schedule a time to replace it. Come to the day of replacement, I get a call from the office informing me of a time window when the technician would be at my house to replace the thermostat. He arrived and replaced it. Once it was done, he told me that the thermostat installation would cost $169 because it wasnt under warranty. I pulled out my documents from I.C.E. that showed the thermostat as being under warranty. I was informed that this was just a quote and not the actual service contract (which is not accurate). The tech called a supervisor who informed the tech that I would have to pay. I questioned this again based on the documents that I had FROM I.C.E. and the tech got aggressive and told me that he would just take out the new Thermostat and reinstall the old, bad one and leave it like that if I didnt want to pay. I called the I.C.E. office and asked to speak with the supervisor who was very rude and claimed at the end of the call that he would remember this in the future (a threat) if we needed this company for anything again. DO NOT use this company if there are any alternatives. UPDATE- Brett Miller reached out to me with a compassionate response and apology for this instance. I upped the stars because of this and truly appreciate his timely response.

Refuse to quote me a price or hourly rate to replace a fan motor, even though I provided all the specs on a 4 year old unit THEY INSTALLED. Dont do business with them, they are extremely dishonest.

As a landlord I tried to make my tenants vacation stay in my home as pleasurable as possible. so when I got a text from my wife saying that the tenants said the AC was blowing hot air, I jumped right on it and called I.C.E Heating and Cooling since they were a 24 hour company and the temperature in the house was in the 90s (hot). When I called I was please to get a person instead of a machine. Gave my info. (she was nice). The receptionist then stated that someone will be calling me (on call person). Brandon showed up in 10 minutes. Brandon diagnose that I needed a new coil. I ended up getting a whole new unit inside and out at reasonable price. Now my tenants went from a summer vacation with to a winter vacation.Quick response, Friendly personnel, quick and clean service

Very poor company put to small of a unit in my house and it cant keep up runs none stop 15-16 hours at time and they wont do anything about it do not use them for new construction the ruff in manger has no clue what he is doing

I have called ICE now twice with issues regarding my AC unit and I cannot be more PLEASED with the outcome. I called after hours and received a call back the very next morning. Logan came out, was incredibly helpful and answered all of our questions. Stayed longer to attempt to allow us to have AC until part came in. Unfortunately he was not able too but the attempt was appreciated. Part came in early and was here the next day to install. A million thank you’d to Logan!! My husband and I had gone through 3 or 4 companies before choosing I.C.E. Heating and Cooling. One of the companies my husband told to get out of our house. I had asked a question and the response I received was, I already answered that. So my hubby told him to leave. When BRANDON showed up from ICE, he was great. Answered all my questions, sometimes multiple times. He made me feel confident in the options I was considering. I didnt feel like he was pushing any particular brand of unit, which is not what I got from some of the other companies. Also, financing was easy and affordable. One of the other companies told us that wed only be able to get financing on one specific brand. Turns out, we were able to get financing on a unit that the other guys told us we wouldnt. With installation, the guys showed up on time and were quick, professional, and neat. I cant say enough good things about our overall experience with the work provided and the equipment purchased.

The Technician arrived on time and was knowledgeable about my system. He was able to do an inspection and made recommendation along with price estimates. Due to an older system he did not have the parts on his truck but was able to order them and have them available in a few days. The estimated price and the final price were exactly as quoted. I contacted ICE to come out and check the A/C system. The folks were very courteous and they set up an appointment for the next day. The technicians really know their craft, and were very professional, upfront, and honest, explaining exactly what was wrong with the system, as well as the price of the repair. They ordered the parts then came back the following week to make the repair. Im very happy with the outcome and would recommend ICE to anyone needing A/C service.

Recently had a great deal of work done - installation of tank less water heater due to issue with existing tank heater setup and had steam humidifier installed - a number of ancillary services took place as a result of these installations. Also had all ducts cleaned and sanitized. A situation arose and it was handled by Brandon with total professionalism. An air scrubber was installed and with the cleaning and sanitizing of the ducts, we are enjoying wonderfully clean air.TOTALLY recommend I.C.E. Heating & Cooling - they can do it all!

We called Sunday and spoke with a representative. Monday morning, we had a service representative who quickly evaluated the situation and fixed the issue. Lee was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He answered all of my questions. The cost of the service visit was reasonable, too. Tech who serviced our heating/cooling units was very professional, courteous and came prepared (complete with mask and shoe covers). During routine spring checkup, I asked the technician to drain my water heater. He found that the gate valve was not working, called another technician and they replaced the valve quickly and efficiently. I called and spoke with the lady in the front office and she scheduled Brandon to come to the house the next morning (Tuesday). Brandon showed up on time and instead of selling me their services and product he asked me what concerns I had with my current unit when it was working. We addressed those issues and he gave me 3 estimates. After the other estimates I had scheduled were done I gave Brandon a call back and he put me on the schedule for Thursday. Although it was not the best price I was given, the professionalism that Brandon had, how responsive and the turn around time had me sold on I.C.E.The techs showed up on time and were also very professional. They started at 9 and were done at 4:30 I highly recommend ICE to anyone. Again, you may find a better price somewhere BUT with ICE you are not only getting a good quality product in American Standard but you are also getting a very professional company. You get what you pay for!

I have always had a phenomenal experience. That is not to say everything has worked out as I desired but the experience with them has been phenomenal. I have worked with many of their techs and they have always been willing to look at different ways to fix a problem and have had several ways to fix problems I have had and wanted to deal with. Sometimes it has worked, sometimes it has not, but they are there helping doing the work and being good people while doing it. As much I we always want the solution to be exactly what we want it to be that isn’t reality, but they have had fixes and tweaks to the systems to get it operating how I desire the system to. To include repeated tweaks to get the airflow efficient. Their techs offer additional products the company sells, but they do not push them on you. They offer products that meet or exceed the needs of the client without offering products that are outside the bounds of anything someone would want. Case and point, I was talking with a tech about the humidity in the house. It had previously been explained to me that the systems operate to pull out humidity in the heat setting but not the cool. The tech advised me that when ready, I.C.E. has dehumidifiers that can be rolled into the system to create no need for emptying the catch bins, etc.

My AC started buzzing loudly, so my husband unplugged what he believed to be the problem until he could get the part in to fix it himself. Ordering it online was going to take 7-14 days and they don’t carry the part in Lowe’s/Home Depot. It was Father’s Day, so we weren’t too worried about the AC being the priority... until bedtime came, everyone was sweating bullets, the children were whining, & nobody could sleep. My husband & I agreed to call someone out & fix it ASAP. I called Monday morning, & they ended up at my front door about 2 hours later. Of course I was inappropriately dressed for company, but too hot to care. My family was a miserable, soaking mess as it was 91 degrees and humid outside (83 inside). Lee was fast, efficient, & very courteous. He picked up on my sense of urgency, fixed the problem right away, & was totally fair about the cost & his services. 5 star service for sure! Normally I look everything up on Yelp & didn’t find these guys on there (??). I only called I.C.E. because I had a coupon that came in the mail recently. So glad I did!!

I normally give 5 stars. This service checkup could not be completed as fully as previously service checkups. Due to physical limitations of the serviceman, the attic air handler was not checked. Due to the outdoor air temperature, refrigerant pressure was not checked. Also, I did not receive documentation of the results of the service checkup. The serviceman was cordial and informative.

I’ve had some minor issues w/the system they installed from the jump but they were minor & they worked to correct the problem. Usually always someone different that comes for the seasonal servicings. They’re all very nice & helpful.

Very pleased with the service provided. After I took advantage of the tune up promotion it was determined that the coils needed a serious chemical cleansing. HVAC Technician Mike and assistant Daniel were instrumental in troubleshooting this issue and provided great service in a very professional and courteous manner. We had our HVAC system replaced and got a few quotes. I.C.E. gave us a quote after we were referred to them through a friend. I was given a cost breakdown of 3 tiers of options and an itemized price of every optional add-on. We agreed upon a date, time, and price. I felt that they were honest with me, at least more so than other companies.The installers ran about an hour late but they called to let me know. The installation was completed in the amount of time stated. I.C.E. handled all the warranty documentation so I didnt have to mail anything in. The system seems to be working well so far and is covered by a warranty. I would have had to pay much more through another company.A minor gripe with the installers was the clean-up after the job. Part of it is my fault because I signed the paperwork agreeing that they cleaned up the job site without checking. They left cement blocks in my back yard (from my old heat pump), and left my basement floor a mess with dirt, leaves, screws, wire casings, etc. Also, one of the installers tried to close my French door on an extension cord. I had to ask him politely to stop trying to force it so the door would not get damaged. Luckily I stopped it before anything bad happened.Overall I am very happy with the service and products that were provided. I would call I.C.E. again.

Joel was absolutely amazing. We had an after hours service call due to a mouse getting into our air handler fan, country living 🤷‍♀️. Well I had gotten the mouse out but wires had came undone. Joel called me and after me looking at a few things I decided I needed him to come out. He was here in no time at all considering he lives so far away. He fixed the problem, helped with a couple other things to keep our system running well, and informed us of the companys great maintenance package. The cost was reasonable. Joels work was great, he was polite, and response time was quick. Thank you for saving me from a miserably hot week!

I needed a tune-up on two systems. Service was scheduled quickly. Repair to one unit was needed. That service was also scheduled very quickly. The prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. Mike, the technician assigned to my repair, was friendly, courteous, and professional. I called this morning at 9:15 because my downstairs unit was not turning on. It was almost 80 degrees in my house. By 10:00 am I had a technician at my house. The GREATEST! So much to say about these guys. First off I thought my consultant Brandon was the owner of the company because what he promised he delivered on, his professional manners, and the way he took charge. It was shocking to find out later that he was not the owner. These guys put my 5 lb (biggest there is) system in in no time. And the team that did it was so respectful, knocked on the door each time they went in and out of the house, did not leave a mess, did extra, replace extra old wiring, pipes etc and my price did not go up. But bigger than that, before I could get approve to finance the unit, they came out and got my dead unit working, cleaned it, changed some of my coils and did it all with no commitment from just a handshake and didnt charge me a dime. Meanwhile the company my Insurance referred who were under monthly maintenance told me there was nothing they could do, that I had to either get a new unit now or sit in the house with no AC. Thanks Ice, thanks Brandon.

Technician was prompt, and very knowledgeable. This was a regular maintenance call on our HVAC. He answered all of our air conditioning questions and was very professional and courteous.

Before you spend $12,000 on a new HVAC system (as I did) and before you spend 6 years and $2,400 on annual tune ups (as I did), keep in mind the people at I.C.E. do not care about customer loyalty and will treat you simply as a number to squeeze one more dollar out of you. Go somewhere else where customer loyalty means something.

Do not bother with this company. My wife called them on Wednesday morning, 4/12/17, between 8-9 am because our AC was not working. She was told that the technician would call (I was at the house waiting) after he finished the service call he was currently on. I get a phone call four hours later (just before 1 pm) from their office, letting me know the tech was on his way. Strike one.Strike two came on Thursday, 4/13/17. We were told on Wednesday that they would have to come back out to evaluate the issue further after the unit had thawed, since it was frozen over when he opened it. Okay, thats fine. We were told by the tech and the office that they could be here sometime Thursday afternoon and that theyd call ahead before coming. We explained that my wife would need a 30-minute notice so she could leave work to meet the tech and let him in. The ICE office contacted us just prior to 1 pm on Thursday, I told them my wife would be there within 30 mins and they said that was OK, as the tech was finishing/had just finished his last service call. My wife arrived home before 1:30 pm. and called their office by 1:40 to let them know she was here to let them in. The office tells her the tech was finishing up his previous service call and was on the way. Nearly 2 1/2 hours later, at approximately 4 pm, their service tech FINALLY arrives at the house!As if all of this wasnt unprofessional enough, after it was determined we had a serious leak and needed a new unit, my wife asked the tech for a quote on installing one with their in-house financing. The tech told her right then and there that the office would call her with a quote shortly. After waiting all the time she did just for the tech to come out and tell her this, she/we also never received any phone call the remainder of the afternoon/evening with any quote for a new unit. STRIKE THREE.Like I said, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with ICE.

Quick service and very helpful experience all throughout the process of getting my AC fixed in the middle of July. Dispatch was very nice on the phone setting up the service and the technician was diagnosed and fixed the problem!

Installed a new 18 seer heat pump, TAM 9 air handler, extra supply and return lines, and a new gas water heater. Staff was great to work —personable and friendly.

We just purchased our condo and Brandon DeLeon was very professional in suggesting what might be the best options along with giving us great customer service. He followed up after the installation. The crew were prompt and professional.

I inquired about a service call via their website on Saturday evening and received a phone call first thing Monday morning. The representative was super friendly and informative. She was willing to work with my crazy Monday schedule. Lee showed up exactly on time and patiently waited for me. He was the 1st contractor out of the 3 previous HVAC contractors to actually take his time to find the actual problem. He performed the fix efficiently and was a true professional. From start to finish, I.C.E. treated me with respect and I felt like I was in great hands!

This company goes above and beyond. I called to ask about out of pocket expense as my AC has been out for a couple of days. My home warranty was taking forever (is taking) forever to address the issue. When Mark called back he took the time to not only explain the expense but what the underlying issue might be. Turns out he was right about the problem and we are hoping to save money on replacing our unit through home warranty. I highly recommend this company and I really appreciated the time that was taken to talk to me about options. Definitely earned my business for any future needs.

Decided to replace our old HVAC system in July 2014. Called several contractors and decided on I.C.E. They gave the best warranty, along with a well known product. Installation was done on time and budget. Did have some problems with the system but every time we called they came out and took care of the problem. The office staff and all technicians have been very professional and courteous. Would recommend them to anyone. Will continue to do business with this company!

We had an older outside unit that was going to die, they replaced it with an inside ac unit and an iutsude heatpump. They originally installed the ac unit upside down and flipped it right side up and cut needless holes in my floor. After they had the unit installed they turned it on and i only had air flow in half of my home, with the outside unit i had air in the entire house. When they were told that it was not working properly, we were told we did not know what we were talking about. We had to have them come back out to fix the duct work to get air in the other half of our home... they said that since we had an inside unit to begin with that it was working properly. When we pressed the issue further, they said they would have someone come back out to fix the duct work. Its been 4 months and they still have not come out. Since they installed the new unit we have had humidity issues and mold constantly growing. We have cleaned the mold several times since the initial install. We tried to call them to come out and inspect the unit to make sure its working properly and that its not the issue. They are now telling us that its just our home thats dirty and that the unit is working fine, they have never come back out... can i rate it negative stars?
