Our neighbor has a system installed by Childress and they had nothing but a good experience so we contacted Miles. We bought a new water heater and complete heating and AC for our first floor. The guys were great and did an excellent job installing. Then I decided to have a split unit installed in my shed and have them service our downstairs unit. Come to find out there was a leak in that unit so we decided to have it replaced. We requested the same crew, Jimmy, John, and Kenny. Absolutely incredible guys. They were 100 % professional. They never had a problem answering any of my questions. Just an awesome company and would refer to anyone! Thank you for the great work!

In late October 2020, we phoned Childress Co. and spoke to Elizabeth regarding getting help with an HVAC problem. She was professional, courteous, and very helpful. As a result, we scheduled a future visit to our home by a Childress technician.

Great team at Childress from start to finish. This is the second time Ive used them the first being for a mini-split install in my sun room and this time for my Central HVAC replacement. Both times they have been the best price for the job. This installation, of my main HVAC, went off without a hitch. The guys were polite, on time and had me up and running before I expected. We came home from vacation to find our air conditioning unit not cooling. Childress Heating and Air Conditioning sent Derek out to diagnose the problem on Saturday evening and he quickly identified the repair needed and ordered parts. Basil came out to complete the repair once the part was available. Both technicians were very professional, courteous and friendly, as well as extremely competent. Weve come to rely on the professionals at Childress, because theyre reliable, efficient and always place the customers interests first.

Came out Sunday night to diagnose the problem. Shuffled schedule to get here in the morning. They started a test, hopped to another job, confirmed the fix and recharged the system. Pleasant, efficient and shared some knowledge to improve efficiency. As good as possible on a hot day. They have been our contractor since they installed the new unit a decade ago. Use them 😁

Justin came out to service our heat pump. He explained in detail what was wrong and showed us what he did to get it running. In the meantime, a part needs to be ordered and Justin will return next week when the part is available to install. He is courteous and very professional.

Miles Cooke is an exceptional representative of Childress Heating & AC and their dedication to honest, informed, polite, & timely customer service. He arrived on time for our quote visit, was thorough in his assessment of our HVAC system, and mindful of making sure he didnt track dirt and mud back in to the house. He explained everything as he made his notes, clarified all payment options for our new system, and explained the differences between the different systems available to us. He didnt try to up-sell unnecessary items or systems. The installation of our system was seamless and pain-free. Installation was scheduled quickly (and actually earlier than expected), the crew was efficient and left no trace of their visit (other than our new system!) Miles made himself available for questions, before, during, and after. It was a flawless, affordable experience all around!

A house with no heat mid-March is pretty cold! A call to Childress HVAC as soon as they opened resulted in the quick arrival of Mackey who quickly recognized the problem, left to pick up the new part, returned within the hour and got our heat turned back on in no time. I was prepared to have to wait for days but no, our heat was back on the same morning, thanks to his experience and commitment to service. Our whole family gives you a warm thanks!!

After enjoying AC for 27 yrs; ours finally died. Of course it came at the worst time of the yr. But, we were so thankful your company was able to install a new unit in only a few days! Jimmy and John were the two technicians sent to do the job. We couldnt have asked for two better guys. My husband had worked in HVAC for 40+ yrs before retiring. So, he knew what to look for in these two men and the equipment. He didnt want to get in their way or hover, but naturally; he watched from a distance. He was Very impressed! They were courteous, informative and truely professional. They got the job done in a timely manner, without making any mistakes (and believe me; my husband checked). Another thing I noticed; when Jimmy came into our home to intall the new thermostate, he covered his shoes. We hadnt had bad weather; he just didnt want to bring any bits of debris in with him.
