I called last minute the day I needed a facial, the lady was very helpful Fitting me in same day, I went for the first time was a bit nervous thinking the service maybe not be what I hoped for, maybe just a scrub and few creams and done, but none the least it was AMAZING! They are so nice warm and excellent in listening to your concerns. I felt so Relaxed and clean after my facial. The lady was so nice explaining everything she used on my face. They are very honest when it comes to providing services please do visit I will For sure again!

I see a lot of negative reviews from people who used a Groupon. Well I went for my first time today and I had a great experience. My masseuse was respectful and he made me feel comfortable. The woman at the front desk was very sweet as well. When they talked to me on the phone when I had scheduled they did remind me of tipping the normal amount you would not having the discount which I find nothing wrong with that because some people may not think of that and just helps people understand. Especially people who are not used to receiving such services.

I’ve been going to Zinc Spa for about 10 years now. I now live in Boston, but I come all the way back to the Franklin area to get my eyebrows done at Zinc because they do such a good job. I’ve also gotten a few manicures and pedicures over the years and have been very happy. Zinc Spa is really clean, has great prices, and they do a wonderful job. I would highly recommend!

These guys were real life savers! I injured my back and needed a last minute massage to help with the pain and they were able to squeeze me in short notice. They even recommended breaking my appointment in 2 sessions to get the best treatment for my back pain. The massage was very relaxing and extremely helpful for my pain! After a horrible pedicure experience, which resulted in bad fungal infection, I had sworn off nail places. Then I was introduced to Zinc Spa and have not gone anywhere else since. The owner Roshni is fabulous and ensures that the spa maintains high standards of hygiene and she’s also a great resource for skincare advice.

I have now had three facials with Lisa and couldnt be happier. She took time to talk to me about what my concerns were and explained everything she thought should be done. I never felt pressured at all to purchase products or services. I have had several facials at very high end spas and I think Lisas facials are the best Ive ever had.

I was scheduled for the wrong day so I got squeezed in for a mani and pedi. The gel manicure was by far the worst one I have ever received. I had the gel all over my fingers and under my nails. Two of my nails chipped after just 6 days. My pedicure took a very long time because the woman kept messing up and getting nail polish all over my skin. Very disappointed because the place was beautiful and I would have liked to go back but it was a waste of money.

I wish I had read the Groupon reviews before going to this establishment. It is clear that Groupon customers are treated less kindly than regular customers and it is encouraged to buy a bigger package. I purchased laser hair removal for a medium area and was told that I should buy the large area to “get the results I wanted” without being asked what results I actually wanted. I was told that my hair grew too far past the area and was made to feel humiliated and embarrassed. When I said I didnt want to buy a bigger package and explained what I did want, the technician was not as kind as when she was trying to sell me more. I left the establishment in tears. When I called to speak to the owner to tell her what happened, she told me that I didn’t have to tell her what happened, she had already spoken to her technician. She dismissed my feelings and experience and didn’t seem to care at all at how humiliated I was. I’m asking Groupon for a refund and hoping I never have to return there.

I was very pleased with the service and manicure I received from Roshni! I needed a last-minute manicure for a wedding I was attending on Saturday and she stayed later than usual just to make sure she could accommodate me. I get my eyebrows waxed at Zinc Spa. I love the shape I get there, especially from Roshni. I have had massages and pedicures there as well and have always been happy with my service. I am impressed with the care and pride they take in what they do. Professional service with great customer service. I will continue to go back when I am in the area (frequently).

Where I should start.. first I went with my friend for first time , my friend wait 15 minutes while the lady how was going to do her facial was on the phone .. The lady how start my pedicure couldn’t do a French on my toes, she had a hard time because my toes are too little , oh boy... while my friend have her facial a male guy came to do her massage, we never got informed that a guy was going to do it, my friend felt uncomfortable and not enjoy her massage at all.... then went we where ready to pay, the owner ask if we want to put the tip included, we said yes ,our bill should be $69 for my pedicure/manicure and $89 for my friend facial/massage 69+89= 158 plus 20% tip $31.60 for a total of $189.60... we finished paying $220 and she took some money off , is vary confusing how she add the tip and the Groupon. Adding of that people where friendly. But we won’t be back.

Ive been a customer at Zinc Spa for over a year now and I just love how highly professional and organized they are. They treat you like family and the quality of service they provide is incomparable.. good luck finding a salon with better prices that offer the same quality care and products that they do.I havent seen such unique spa packages offered elsewhere thus far, and I do my research. The owner is so talented and the entire staff is friendly and accommodating. They always spend their time with me giving me advice and they give me tips and techniques that would work best for me. They arent out to make a quick dollar, they genuinely want whats in your best interest!!I would strongly recommend Zinc Spa and Nail Bar.. I cant imagine you would leave that place feeling anything less than 100% satisfied.

Where do I begin? I got a Groupon for a therapeutic massage...well let me start by saying that was by far the WORST massage I’ve ever experienced and I only allowed it to go on for 10 minutes....therapist began by PETTING my head..don’t know what massage school taught him that technique? I was the complete OPPOSITE of relaxed from the start. The building was gross-rooms looked dirty, there was insulation hanging out of the wall ac unit. I never write google reviews but I urge you to please not use your hard earned money to go to a dive such as this. Spend a little more and get a quality experience instead. I will never be back here again, nor will I ever purchase a Groupon to a spa.

I am not someone who is a compulsive complainer, however I cant hesitate to post this. I had a groupon for gel manicure. I have called several times for the last week to make an appointment and even left an email. They have not answered once. I understand that you cant always get to the phone because you have a single line and other things that are out of your control, but when I try to call at least 5-6 times and even leave an email and still do not get a response is unacceptable especially when I do not have a lot of free time to call in between two jobs. Therefore I have traded in my groupon and bought one for another salon who were able to take my call right away and schedule me for an appointment for this weekend.

Been coming here for years. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in the area. They care a lot about the clients.

Groupon clearly states 60 minute massage not a 50 min massage with 10 minute consultation. Room was too bright and couldnt hear relaxation music over A/C. Wont go back. No its not standard protocol. Ive had many massages and yours was the first to be less than an hour. Rip off

Horrible. I went in for a $60 DOLLAR, 60 minute deluxe pedicure. What I got was..- 2 minutes of massaging..yes thats it- the lotion smelled awful (I cant wait to wash my feet)- waited while she took calls- waited while she took a customer DURING my pedicure- no professionalism- old and dated ambiance- she was so slow to do everything and wanted time just so the clock would reach the 60 minutesI will not be coming back.

I’ve been extremely reluctant to post a review as the doctor is quite nice.. but after going to another spa and and being thoroughly educated on Botox I feel like I just need to write something. I will start out by saying that I am positive this review is not going to be taken well by the owner and there will be a novel written back about it by her. That is why I am writing this anonymously. However the thing I do hope will ultimately happen is bring is better practices within the spa.To start, I received Botox at Zinc at least half a dozen times. It should’ve been a huge red flag to me when the doctor did not use gloves. That is a huge OSHA sanitation red flag!! You’ll read on here often by the owner “that the doctor has 40 years plus experience in the medical field..” Then why on earth were gloves never worn once?! A needle is used, injections are done. No matter how small the amount, there is blood. I should have questioned this and insisted gloves were worn.Another huge red flag to me that I should’ve been more persistent about was they have absolutely no before and afters of customers. I was told something about “this goes against peoples privacy.” Well that’s why businesses have disclaimers and ask permission first. Pretty much every spa are there out there has before and afters. So huge flag to anyone going to a practice, not just this Zinc- make sure you seen actual before and afters! You want to see actual results on actual people of the injector you use. Do your research!I was not educated on how the injections are done. I didn’t realize that the injection sites on someone’s face should be mapped out every time. The Injector who does a thorough job is going to have a face map and is going to know where each injection is done- so they know what works and what doesn’t. As everybody’s results are completely individual. The doctor said to me that some people make these notes but he doesn’t “because he’s been doing it for so long he just knows where to inject the Botox.” False!!that’s ridiculous now that I think back about it. I always went for a touchup because I always ended up looking a bit “Spock-ish.” My eyebrows would raise more on the far outside because the muscles were not evenly relaxed. Had proper mapping of the injections on my face been done this would’ve been able to be pinpointed. But again each time I went my injections were just eyeballed. I fully admit I put a lot of this on the back burner and was very tolerant of it because the pricing at zinc is so inexpensive. I’m learning now that what you get is what you pay for.I ended up going to another spa for a consult. The Injector there showed me a face map. She then put dots on my face of where she was going to do the injections, and all this was noted on the face map so she’d know for next time. She also took thorough before pictures. Which I signed a consent form for. All zinc needs to do is have consent forms and then they can have pictures to show customers.Again the doctor was nothing but very nice but unfortunately my results were not the nicest. I really hope that this spa uses this information and starts using more thorough practices. I really hope that men and women read this and make sure that these things are being done, but particularly gloves in the least!!!

Worst nail salon. I went here only because my nail salon was closed today. I called and asked if they do nail dip they said yes. When I got there the women explained they dont have colors for dip and she dips your nails in clear then adds gel color. They soaked your nails in acetone to take off the previous dip and then started to scrap it off too soon, I believe that is what caused my nail to break and crack. She then used the worst dip Ive ever seen making me dip my own finger and when I wasnt doing the way she liked it she quickly dipped my finger in twice. She never smoothed down the nail, only with a file by hand. She made me wash off the powder around my nails. The counter top was a mess and it looks like they use the same supplies from a draw, so not sanitize. My mom got a manicure and the lady filing her nails also used the same file to file off the sticky dip on her hands and then proceeded to file my moms nails. I just wanted to leave but didnt know how too. I wasted 63 dollars because now tomorrow I need to go get them done again. I am so afraid of getting a fungus under my nails. I also have never seen a manicure done without soaking your nails in soapy water. All they did was file the nails and paint them. The dip nails had nail polish missing on the sides. The only good thing about this place is the pretty nail polish colors they have. I couldnt wait to get out of there.Update: my moms nails already are peeling in less than 24 hours done. The lady said they would last 7 to 10 days. When I went to my nail salon they were shocked how bad my nails looked and had a hard time getting the nasty goop off my nails.Just reading the response now from the salon. I love how you fight back with customers. You should be ashamed of your business approach. I should call the board of health and have you shut down. You never defended that your worker used the same nail file she was filing my moms nails with and started filing her own in the middle of my Mothers manicure. That is absolutely disgusting. 100% not sanitized and the table was not clean at all. CUSTOMERS BE WARE.....We went the next day to a real nail salon and had your nasty gels/dip taken off before I got infection. The other salon couldnt believe how bad our nails were.

I cant even begin to express how much i loved my experience at the Zinc spa! It was my first time, along with two of my friends, getting a brazilian wax and i dont even know why i was nervous! I believe Roshni was her name and she made me feel so comfortable and reassured i was in the right place. She explained everything she was doing and was never awkward even though youre half naked in front of her. The prices are pretty much unbeatable and the atmosphere is so calm and relaxing. I will definitely be back here! If you are thinking about getting a wax just do it! Its not as bad as you think. And go to Zinc spa!!

BEWARE!!! We bought 2 groupons for this salon and they demanded a $17 service fee EACH prior to the service. They claimed it was a Groupon policy but we called Groupon and they said this is not allowed. This has happened to multiple other customers. No salon should determine how much you tip or charge you for using coupons unless in the fine print, which it is NOT. I would leave 0 stars if I could. Staff was unhelpful and rude on the phone. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

I got shellacs here. The woman how did me globbed on so much product and then set it under the light. Once I realized I asked if their was anything she could do. ( it got all over the skin around the nails) she used a electric file and buzzed it off of my skin. Soo painful! I left with at least 5 cuts and the nail started to peal within 2 days on 3 of them. I forget her name but she was bragging that she was one of the 2 best nail techs they have. The eye brow wax I got was awesome (from a different woman.)

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I wanted a nice spa manicure so I figured I would come to this place, however, it was anything but relaxing. The whole place was dirty right off the bat. The woman who did my nails, Lisa, forgot to give me the scrub for the spa manicure. Instead she scraped my cuticles on my dry hands(didnt use cuticle soaker that was right behind her in a big bottle!), made them BLEED, and continued to say I just had sensitive cuticles… Tried to make small talk and basically insulted me... The woman who checked me out (also answers the phones today) was extremely rude for not letting them know ahead of time I had a Groupon. I was polite and said Im sorry and didnt know. I wanted to just get out of there. The woman said my total is $18 and told me I OWED Lisa 20% gratuity because thats not included in Groupon. I told her I paid $25 for my Groupon and received an $18 service and I do not owe anything. She was like Fine your all set but you owe Lisa 20%! So thats 3.50 for Lisa. Gratuity should be optional first of all, and she did not deserve anything at all as my nails came out terrible. She was very mean and said, Okay well I will write in the system no more Groupons for you! I said thats not a problem I will not be back! TERRIBLE, RUDE AND DIRTY service, they will gloat about how good they are but they are truly the worst place I have ever been to. I had to redo my nails when I got home because they looked like a 5 year old painted them. Will not be back. I recommend going anywhere else in Franklin just not this place.

One lady is very nice, which is why I am giving 2 stars. HOWEVER, VERY unorganized. I made an appointment for a pedicure and sat there for a half hour. As I went to leave they said they forgot about me... unprofessional. I also got iLipo from there, it was okay but I went to my appointment at 1:52, my appointment was at 2. When I came in the lady said I was very early.... I was only 8 minutes. And I had to sit there for almost a hour. Once my Groupon is done, i will NOT be back. Yes the place is very cheap, but thats because they are VERY unorganized, unexpirenced, and unprofessional!

Zinc Spa in Franklin - massages from Stephan are a real treat. 2 week old Nagging shoulder pain gone. Stephan said its a compliment when his clients fall asleep during massage.
