Came here early in the morning today, trying to get my car aligned cuz I heard theyre known for aligning on lowered vehicles which is for my accord 2017. Said my car way too low to get on the lift, but my partner who has the same car and lowered than mines, they was able to do it for him. So kinda confused why they couldnt do mine smh

I called Elk Grove Tire & Brake up in the morning and asked how much for a wheel alignment for my 2014 Subaru Impreza, because mine was off pretty bad. They told me they were having a sell and gave me a price. I scheduled an appointment for that morning, drove over there and they got my car in and out of there fast. Sorin got my alignment done really fast, from the time he got the keys to the time he finished was about 15 minutes. They werent super misaligned but I thought I should get it done before I put 4 new tires on. Great service, great price.

These guys do quality work for a fair price. I had them replace my lower ball joints and after getting home and looking at what they did, they not only replaced what I asked them to, but they greased up the parts that I had just replaced as well. If youre looking for honest people that do solid work, this is your shop.

The best auto service experience I have ever had. Ive done limited car repairs with my father for most of my life but, these days, I prefer to take my car in to be worked on. I took my car, a 1998 Ford Taurus, in for a four wheel alignment and to inspect the front suspension as well as the brakes. The owner of the shop promptly greeted my father and me and since they had a lull in traffic, he took my car back immediately. We watched as he hooked these reflectors up to the four wheels and a computer showed the variance that each wheel was off. One of the things that impressed me was on an old car, he picked up only the wrenches he needed for the job and he grabbed the correct one he needed the first time, every time for the whole job. The entire job, including the inspections took under 10 minutes and he did the job by himself. The price was not the cheapest in town but, reasonable, especially for the skill level of work that he did. The owner stated that he had over 30 years of auto repair experience.TL;DR: By the end of the service appointment, we were so impressed that my father brought down his Honda CR-V and his Ford F-350 the same day to have them serviced as well. I would recommend them to anyone willing to spend a few extra dollars (still reasonable) for fast and reliable service.

After going to them a few times, I am glad to give them a good review. Each time, they provided me with a thorough explanation of what they were doing. They are very customer focused, and they do quality work. Sorin has been especially great to work with. He even gave me a break on the price - and I have compared.

Let me preface this by saying I am not a master mechanic, but I do perform all my own repair work on all my vehicles. However I do not own an alignment rack so naturally i had to bring my car into a repair shop.Ive owned the car since it was brand new and Ive never gotten an alignment. Ive never experienced any uneven tire wear or any suspension/steering issues.About 10k miles ago I got 4 brand new Bridgestone tires on my car. I figured I might as well get an alignment due to the fact that i plan on keeping the car for a long time and want the tires to last. I brought the car in to Elk Grove Tire & Brake got it aligned the same day i got my tires.Fast forward to present time, I took the car in to Costco to get the tires rotated and balanced. Costco informed me that they could not rotate the tires due to the front ones having uneven wear. They recommended that I get an alignment and have tires replaced.Since I had just gotten the car aligned earlier this year i brought it back to EG Tire & Brake to see if there was anything wrong. They could not find anything mechanically wrong with the car.Here is where it sketched me out. The tech told me the alignment was off. He then said they have a 6 month warranty and offered to realign the car for half price. (I assumed if they messed up the alignment, they would fix it at no cost).I refused and told him I wanted my car back. Later the other tech came out and offered to realign the car for free. At no point in time did they admit to poor alignment causing tire wear, they pointed to other possible causes.I just want to note that during the time after EG Tire & Brake aligned my car nothing was changed. I drive the same route, at the same speed, same time, etc.. that i have been doing for years. I do not jump the car like the Dukes of Hazzard, It spends 90% of its time on cruise control on the freeway. Now Im out two tires and have to get the car realigned at a reputable shop.
