Fantastic! I I took my sons 2001 4runner into Bobby at Complete Performance and they did a fantastic job.My son had blown a freeze plug and had an oil leak. Complete Performance replaced the freeze plug and discovered a loose oil filter and replaced it. (other shops could have embellished on the oil leak) I then had them do an overall inspection on the car. Found out the rear seal was leaking gear oil over the back brakes and the back breaks were not installed properly or for that matter working. Found the Rack and Pinion bushings were torn. Had them replace the seal and bearing on the rear seal and fix the brakes. Had them replace the Rack and Pinion Bushings, at a fraction of the cost another shop would have charged me. Also had them drain and flush the differentials and transmission.Truck runs great and best of all...TWO YEAR WARRANTY ON EVERYTHING THEY DID!I have had them replace a transmission on another sons car and have had them work on various cars over a 15 year period.If you want it fixed and fixed right take it to Bobby at Complete Performance. Thanks Bobby!Oh btw they took care of a bunch of other small stuff as well.

My Grandma has been a client or customer of Bobby the Owner of Complete Performance all the way back when He was the Lead Mechanic of Saturn of Elk Grove. When Saturn closed down Bobby the Owner of Complete Performance opened his own shop on Elk Grove Boulevard and my Grandma followed him there. Him and his shop are the only ones my Grandma will allow to work on her vehicles exclusively the 2005 Saturn Vue Redline that I purchased from her last year when she bought a 2021 Subaru Forester. Complete Performance has been the only shop that has done any mechanical work on this Saturn in the last 10 to 15 years, seeing as this Saturn is pushing 16 plus years of age. Plus I do have to day that my 2005 Saturn Vue Redline runs like a champ with no mechanical issues with almost 142 & a half thousand miles on it.

Bobby came through for us. He was able to diagnose my girlfriends car with an engine failure. He and his team ran a compression test and let us know the results werent good unfortunately.I had our car towed back home since the cost of the repair were greater than we expected. Bobby kept it honest and advised us to try and use the funds toward a new car instead (repair cost was greater than the cars value).I called Bobby today as I noticed our spark plugs and coils were left out. He answered promptly and remember us from a week ago. He still had the parts on him and said we could come by to grab them if we wished.We had an unfortunate and horrible situation but bonny was clear, go eat and timely in his responses. I appreciate his professionalism!

The service at Complete Performance is a cut above the big box shop. The owner himself will sit with you to carefully make a note and address of all of your vehicle concerns. The staff is 100% professional and extremely efficient . The many years of experience and knowledge is a plus. We were needing a new valve cover due to a leak. We received a complete vehicle inspection at no cost and a plan on how best to prepare for future vehicle needs. In the end, we also agreed to replace worn out spark plugs and the plenum gasket. The prices are extremely fair, and the labor time was within the estimate. We are happy customers, and we are repeat customers. I would highly recommend Complete Performance for all your vehicle needs.

They used poor quality parts and upcharged for premium parts late delivery and all around didnt do what they said they would. I am actually worse off than before I went there. I would NOT recomend this shop to fix my bicycle, let alone any auto you value.STAY AWAY FEOM THIS PLACE !!I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

Bobby is an amazing person and hes honest about everything, prices are reasonable and if you have more than 1 problems, he will let you know which is important first then you can do little by little until your rides sound freshly new and I would definitely goes back again and hes our regular person, and yall might want to avoid big names like brakes master, dealerships and Pep boys. Based on several recommendations, we took our vehicle into Bobby for an intermittent issue. After several quotes and misdiagnosis’s from five, yes, five other shops, the team at Complete performance identified the real issue, and gave us a great price to get the repairs done quickly, and done right! I cant recommend CP enough! I live near the shop and have worked with Bobby (the owner) at least 10 times on a variety of jobs for my car. Every time he has made an effort to take care of my car right. From oil changes to belts to steering hardware to electrical and AC issues he and his team have always been skillful and quick at diagnosing and repairing issues with my old 90s Volvo. Hes honest and direct, and Ive been very happy with work done at this shop.

Bobby is honest, upfront and easy to talk to. I appreciate him working with our budget and helping us prioritize the work on our GMC Acadia. We now have a three phase plan to get through all of the repairs. I appreciate that he listens to our situation and provides customer service that is above and beyond! A couple of years ago I brought my Ford to him and he took to the time to price out all the repairs and help me decide that it was a better investment to just go and buy another car. Since I dont know much about cars, I appreciate him taking the time to explain concepts and not take advantage of me by overselling. This place is a hidden gem!

I took my truck to complete performance a Triple A approved auto shop the people there at 1st word generally concerned made me feel welcome after them having my vehicle for 2 months nothing done I was gonna take my vehicle away from them at that point they DE stroyed the inside of my vehicle Guarded it it the whole thing so that they thought that be able to keep the job I have missing parts damage to my anterior to my dashboard to my face of my truck the owner is a cocky arrogant man that was offering to do insurance fraud for the job on my truck I have it and recordings that that man was willing to high deductibles overcharge for parts to put money and other peoples pockets I had to have a tow truck come and take my vehicle non running I took my vehicle theyre driving operable had to have it pulled out on skids have 3 months later do not take your vehicle to the shop

Bobby has been taking care of my family vehicles for over 10 years. My Toyota Highlander is going on 295, 100 miles thanks to Complete Performance staying on top of regular maintenance and taking care of needed repairs as soon as trouble shows up. Great service! Great people!

Spent $5,000 on fixing a vehicle & the struts went bad after 20,000 miles & Bobby said there’s nothing he can do about it. I said only 20,000 miles & they go bad & there’s nothing you can do about it he said and I quote when you’re done crying about it you can call me back then hung up.This is a prime example of someone who gives the term to a bad business mechanic shop!

I was referred to Complete Performance by a trusted friend when I was in need of an affordable transmission. That was a few terms ago and Bobby has always made sure that my auto needs were met in a timely and fair manner. I take my car here for any and all issues and have left satisfied and not broke, which for me is exactly what I need.

My car did not pass the smog test and it was recommended that I go to Complete Performance in Elk Grove. They were very professional and friendly. Bobby and Jeff were respectful and honest and they kept me posted on the progress of the work. Everything got taken care of and my car passed smog! I am very happy with the job they did.

$135.00 for a diagnostic. I took my truck there to find out what was wrong. They plugged it into their OBDII scanner and found I didnt have a check engine light on. They couldnt tell me whats wrong.One of the mechanics drove my vehicle and came back and said something is wrong with Drive and Reverse but couldnt give specifics.In the end they recommend a throttle cleaning for 270 dollars.And a transmission flush for 599 dollars.Ridiculous pricing for absolute guess work.Bunch of charlatans work here.I feel like my money had no value here, I would advise everyone to steer clear.

The owner Bobby is straight forward and doesn’t try to take advantage of you, and being a woman that is important to me. Tired of other mechanic shops trying to take advantage me 😖I can trust to get fair and accurate pricing that is comparable to others in the area. His work doesn’t have to be redone by another shop. Ive been coming here ever since I moved to Elk Grove in 2012 when I got out of the military. Bobby has serviced multiple vehicles for me over the years and has always been incredibly friendly and professional in his work. Ive been to shops before where they spit jargon and replace a bunch of unnecessary parts just for some extra bucks, but thats definitely not the case here. He told me I might need another nonessential part replaced sometime down the road but not to worry about it right now and get the most life out of it as I can. Very honest and caring folks! I recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality service.

I brought my car here for a break and light inspection AFTER being completely taken advantage of at a different shop. I was in a bind and had to get my car retested before the dmv closed so that I could get it registered. The owner was really sympathetic and did his best to get me in and out as quickly as possible. I really don’t think any other shop would have rushed just to meet a customer’s timeline and I really appreciateed it. A great little shop focused on the customers rather than scamming people for money like the shop I went to first. If your car needs a little love I would definitely recommend this shop.

After reading reviews of this shop, I was a little hesitant in going in for a smog check. I called ahead to see if they could have me in and out in an hour and they said they could accommodate me in that time frame. Once I arrived I was greeted by Amy with a friendly smile and great customer service. Chris in the service dept was extremely knowledgeable and pointed me in the right direction as my vehicle had some mods that were questionable.Overall, they had me in and out in the time frame promised, customer service was great and I will definitely see them in the future if I need any further repairs or service. I had my brakes and routers done, was able to bring in my own parts. They also performed a diognosis of my oil system and were able to get rid of a bad leak I had. Great work!

I cant rate it too badly, as I didnt end up getting my car fixed here, but I told them that my car just had a rattle I was concerned with, but was pretty sure there was nothing really wrong with the car. They were still going to charge me $100 as a diagnostic fee because they had to put it up on the rack, etc. So I left and took it to Dans Auto Repair about 2 miles away instead. They said they dont charge for putting it up and taking a look, and sure enough, he found it was just a piece of metal that had come loose and was rattling against the muffler. He said it wasnt needed at all, so he removed it and didnt charge my wife a dime to look at it and fix it. Im glad I suggested she not stay at Complete Performance.

Complete Performance has been handling all my vehicle maintenance needs for years. They always do a super job. I use a funny name on google, but Im serious with this recommendation. These folks are excellent.

I was helped right when I arrived, I needed my side view mirror replaced and they got it down within 20 minutes. great customer service and very friendly people.

I needed a brake and lamp inspection (it costs them 7 dollars and 5 minutes) but they wanted 121 dollars and over a day. I asked why and he got pissed and hung up on me. Obviously some shady stuff going on at this business. I would recommend going anywhere else

I have had many german cars and I been to many german mechanics, this is the first time I was happy with BOTH the service and price. My regular BMW only mechanic quoted way more for a straight forward job (valve cover & gasket change, E39). Complete Performance was more thorough than my regular BMW mechanic both with my car and explaining what they did. If you have an Audi, BMW, or Volkswagen, I strongly recommend Complete Performance for German and European cars. They also fixed a steering fluid leak at no extra cost. I always brought in my all 3 cars for changes of my break pad, and to be fix if something wrong with my cars, I always brought in my cars during weekend (Saturday) and guys who work Saturday very nice guys, he help me a lot, I spent money for all of my 3 cars, and I dont mind because the charges that been charge for me is reasonable, but now now I decided not to bring any of my cars in this repair shop because of the guy name bobby, he is so arrogant and he treat like not a citizen of this country

Called, Bobby, the head guy, to have my car looked at. Talked a great talk on the phone to pull me in and I did, but it was also the good reviews online that made me came in. Promised me a 10% discount on the service and when it was time to pay, said he doesnt know anything about a 10% discount. Serious now Bobby. You advertise the 10% discount on your business card, Yelp and on the phone, but you act stupid when its time for your customer to pay. I told him if you dont remember, then let me just show you your 10% discount advertisement, then it all came back to him. Got my 10% discount and that will be the first and last time I will be back there. Its so hard to find an honest mechanic these days.

Run run run. Had my truck for over 3 months cuz it wouldnt pass smog kept doing things to my vehicle that did not need it. On top of that I had a brand new battery and it was completely dead when I went to pick up my vehicle. Broke my ashtray in my door in my backseat of my Tahoe and also I had a vape pen inside my glove box when I dropped it off it was all the way in the back melt it dont know what they were doing with my vape pen and why it was even taken out of my glove box. A very dishonest place and I will never send my worst enemy there. They took out my whole dashboard with the gas gauge in the thermometer and they were supposed to rebuild it well the only thing that working on it now is the gas gauge but my speed thermometer still is not working after I spend almost $1,800 and its still not fixed. stay away from there go somewhere else.

They fixed my truck after I took it to 3 different shops and they said it couldnt be fixed. But Bobby is the man and he did the impossible!

If I could give them no stars, I would. A while back, I had an oil change. The same day I notice an oil leak. They lost the gasket washer to the drain plug. I took it back and was told they would do it when a stall was free, then proceeded to put people in front of me since they had my money already. After 3 hours I gave up and took it home.

I always check out the local places first before I go to a namebrand places. I truly believe in keeping the money in town with local family owned businesses.Complete proformance is a place that I will always trust with all my vehicle needs. Not only are they knowledgeable with working on Volkswagons, Toyotas and dodges ( which is what I own) they are friendly and welcoming with all my questions that I have. Big or small the owner Bobby take the time and go through everything with me.I like how they are backed by AAA and they also give a discount if you are a member with them which is a big plus because every penny helps.I highly recommend this business for anybody who has a big job or small job on a vehicle Bobby and his staff are the people to see!

Car died, got it towed to Complete Performance. Mechanic said it was a bad fuel pump and needed spark plugs. He told her the cost would be $860!!!!! The problem was NOT the fuel pump, but if it was other places quoted $500. I told her to get the car towed elsewhere and fast as this guy was obviously trying to take advantage of a woman in a bad situation. Stay away from this place unless you enjoy being taken advantage of and being ripped off.

This place is horrible I’ve been here 3x and each time no ones here to do a smog ....like why have smog on a sign if you obviously are never open ...they don’t bother to get up and greet you ..I came one time for a second smog check due to fail to pass and when I came back it was not the normal owner (who also is very oblivious to his customers) the guy here on the weekend was rude ..didn’t acknowledge his customer (me) happen to tell me ooo you failed and that was it no come back will take care of you this and that ..never coming back
