Services were Radiator Flush and a brake check: I had a wonderful experience at Meineke in Elk Grove, Ca. My car came back better than expected, the service was superb and the staff have wonderful soft skills. I will be returning to use them :) Dario was wonderful and thorough when I dropped my car off. Then Kenny was very fun to talk to when I returned to pick up my car as well as thorough when reviewing my car and the services. I say this was 5 star service keep up the good work!

Kenny was great when I called about my AC and me in right away, then I brought in my sons car and Jason was also great they were both kind and understanding. The work the did on my vehicles was outstanding!! I recommend this shop, it is definitely the top of my list and I will be bringing them in for all the work needed.

The staff was super nice towards my family and me. We truly appreciated theyre honesty and help. My family and I were on the way to go swimming until my car over heated. We stopped at the shop to see if they could fit us in although they were really backed up they squeezed us in and we were able to get home safely. Made an appointment to take my truck in to have the Air Conditioner repaired after a full day no updates. The second day still no cost of an estimate after the third day of being without a vehicle I called them and they said they haven’t had time to look at my truck. A/c does not have issues when it’s 70 degrees as I informed them when I dropped the truck off I specifically waited for 106 degree days so it would be easy to diagnose THATS WHEN IT DOES NOT WORK! Everything I explained fell on deaf ears. Very disappointed with this company and I was without a vehicle for three days. Could have just told me you can’t look at it for a week and I would have went somewhere else. Now I need too be without a vehicle again to actually have someone who’s willing to do the work, fix it. Never again Mienakee. You will not get an opportunity to keep my vehicle for three days and tell me you didn’t have time to fix it!Rick!UPDATE! Received a call from the corporate office person on the other end asked me what a good resolution for me would be? I explained repair my vehicle and do not tell me it will be a 24 hour diagnostic turnaround if your not going to look at it for three days. Also let me go to a different meineke for the completion of the repairs. She explained that would not be possible. I said why did you ask me for a resolution what would be your resolution she ended up hanging up on me. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL I WILL NOT DEAL WITH THIS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION!

Beware of their assumptive sale tactics. I have been here several times and previously had decent experiences with getting my oil changed with standard oil the previous 2 times. To be fair when I asked they told me that apparently I had also been bamboozled into a synthetic oil change on a previous visit, though I do not recall it. However, when my wife took the car down yesterday she had a different experience. When she checked in the person was rude, made her feel uncomfortable, and they told her the appointment was for a full synthetic oil change (that cost twice as much) without giving her any other options. She assumed that is what I requested when I set up the appointment and approved it. When I called and spoke to Jason, the manager, he indicated the vehicle was supposed to use full synthetic oil according to the GM website. That would explain things except they have never told me that on my previous visits, so I find that explanation of their actions suspect. I don’t know if this situation arose because my wife is a woman or because they thought she wouldn’t realize that their were other options. In addition to all of this she was charged over $90 after all of the “additional” charges. Needless to say we will no longer be taking our vehicles here for service.

Jason was very sweet and helpful, however I was quoted a $60 to $150 Mac in diagnosing the issue. It took 48 hours to have them diagnose and quote a price on repairs only to learn that they started a repair without talking to me first. After getting the quote and talking to my husband we decided to NOT do the repairs and instead get a new car. I was frustrated to learn that my total was almost $350 when we picked up the car rather than the max of $150 I was quoted. This was because they had replaced a wire, again without verification that I wanted to proceed first. Because of that I would not recommend this place as I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

I had to get my suspension repaired and had a check engine light. I was surprised to hear them tell me that they would fix the car that day, and did just that. Jason behind the counter was super knowledgeable and explained all my questions thoroughly. When they did the inspection of the car they took pictures with very detailed explanations. Not just a few times. Nearly every part of the car was documented and shown. They raised the bar and it was very refreshing to see. Was also told by my uber randomly that they had a good mechanic there. Car feels brand new. 10/10 would go to them for any repairs.

Good service and communication. We were travelling thru to Washington when our sprinter van serpentine belt broke! They were close to the highway. They went out of their way to help us and order parts and work with our situation. We could not have broke down by a better place. They were light hearted and a good atmosphere with fair prices.

I came to get my oil changed on 11/14/20. When I got the bill it was about 70 dollars for premium service. My complaint is that I wasnt given a price estimate on the oil change before hand. They assumed I wanted the premium package. As I was paying for the bill, I looked at the counter at the yellow pad displaying a lower 35 dollar price for oil change (probably not premium). I wish they would have given me the option to pay for the lower quality oil change instead of assuming I wanted the premium and get a price estimate before hand. I had a coupon so I didnt pay the 70 dollars, but I was told early on the cost would be whatever the synthetic oil cost minus the coupon discount. If I had knew ahead of time about the 70 dollar charge I would have looked for service elsewhere. I been there for few years and service has been good, but this time I felt like I got cheated or tricked into paying the highest possible service. The price may have been correct for synthetic oil, but at least Id like to know my options.

My 2013 gmc acadia has some miles on it. Needed new plugs, found misfires in a couple of bad coils, replaced front axle and had them do brakes and rotors while at it.I like how jason communicated and treated with me with the respect that I understood what needed to be done and could wait in regards to the maintenance of my suv.

Ive never had an auto shop provide photos and descriptions of work needed to be done on my car before. Its really refreshing to see a company do something so simple but effective, to guide me to get certain repairs done. Photos and transparency go a long way. Aside from that, they did the work outlined. Good customer service. I will go back again for future repairs.

The most affordable place and 5 star quality service.I went there to have my oil change, unlike jiffylube they dont come up with numbers and force client to fix this and that. They are very particular on explaining what needs to be done and the best part is they even send you a confirmation email describing the condition of your vehicle with pictures and videos.This is going to be my goto place if I need to fix anything in my car.Keep up the good work!!

I just found this place by chance with a few broken axle bolts on my SUV, and I am over the top happy that I found this shop for future work on my aging vehicle. A special shout-out to the manager Jason who goes above and beyond to explain every mechanical problem and have Solutions ready. I highly recommend this shop.

They charge over 100 dollars for inspection and then if you choose to do the repairs at their location, they do not deduct the amount for inspection from the repairs. My local dealership offers this incentive when I do an inspection with repairs.

These guys really saved me! Im from Grass Valley and was driving down near Yosemite to pick up my new puppy. Unfortunately it was during a major heatwave and and while driving thru Elk Grove my SUV started running really hot. I pulled over and called AAA, but they couldnt help. I was stranded and I knew I wouldnt make it there or back home. I saw Meineke across the street and called. It was a friday late afternoon and they were booked up. I explained my situation and they said they would take a look for me after my engined cooled. They did an inspection and tested for all possibilities. Dario totally saved the day for me and I was able to get back on the road, and I did make it back home with my new puppy and my car ran great all the way! And the most surprising thing was they didnt charge me for their time or work! They just wanted me back on the road safe! And safe for the puppy,... now I ask,Who does that these days! THANK YOU MEINEKE!!! You guys are the BEST!!!

This place is really clean and neat. The staff is polite and friendly. Due to COVID they close a little earlier and tend to take slightly longer than expected. So just in case if you have an appt for an oil change expect them to possibly have the car for about 3 hours incase they get backed up

Very satisfied with this Meineke. They completed major car repair in just a few day. Their customer service was excellent, as was their workmanship. They were fair, did not go over the estimate given, and anything extra (I knew I needed tires) was just given as an estimate for when I was ready to make a purchase, in the future, no sales pressure at all. I had noticed a small adjustment that needed to be made and they took me right in, and made the adjustment. I will continue to go there for all my car maintenance needs!

My cars front breaks almost completely stopped working & Meineke was the closest shop on google maps. They were booked but accommodated me. My car had rust build up from a harsh winter in the east that it ate at my brake pads. Meineke not only changed my front brakes but took the rust off free of charge so it wouldn’t ruin my brakes further. I’d definitely recommend this place since they actual care about their customers well being and doing a great job. Everyone working there were also nice and welcoming.

My regular place to do the oil change on my cars. Yesterday went there had an oil change and asked if the tire rotation was done with oil change and they said yes. Came home and noticed i had the tires on same previous positions. Did not expected this from this place.

They take care of me every time. All of my Oil changes are done here but even when My car broke down they were flexible in assisting me immediately allowing the tow truck to drop it off and I went on with my day. They communicate every step of way. I feel like they are honest and go above and exceed expectations.

IF YOU VALUE THE APPEARANCE OF YOUR CAR, DO NOT TAKE IT HERE!!!!!!! SLOPPY AMATEUR TECHS!!!I have a nice vintage Integra Special Edition I am trying to restore.I took it here for a fluids systems clean and change. (brake, clutch, power steering and coolant.) Good deal for the services and the last time I was here for an oil change a year ago, they found everything I already knew was wrong with the car and quoted prices to fix. Ok, they seemed to know what they were doing so I bring it in to change the fluids. Different crew this time, different techs and service writer. I figured normal turnover for a small shop like this and went ahead with the work. I go to pick it up, the fluids look great, very clear, but they somehow sprayed brake fluid or something on the windshield wiper cowling (black TPO plastic) permanently spotting it. I bring this to their attention and they try to deny it! I had repainted the wiper arms 3 weeks prior and was so impressed at how new they looked I took a few pics. I show the pics to the service writer explaining they HAD to have done this. He begrudgingly agrees they did it, and wants an opportunity to try and fix it. I dont know why I agreed to this. but I bring it in the next day. They take less than an hour to completely destroy the wiper cowling. They sanded it with some kind of very abrasive pad or paper permanently scratching the edge of the windshield in the process. Then they spray some kind of solvent or de-greaser directly on the cowling, which turns it a powdery milky white and eats the pain off of the wiper arms I just restored 3 weeks prior!!They offer to replace the part, but new parts are not available so only a used part in about the same condition as mine was before they destroyed it. Ok, Ill take the part, but the shop is NOT TOUCHING THE CAR EVER AGAIN!!If this was a newer car or the parts they damaged had no prior damage Id be taking them to small claims court.The fluids are clear, but the damage they caused EACH TIME THEY TOUCHED THE CAR, is inexcusable.DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE UNLESS YOU DONT CARE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE.

I love this place. They have the best prices for oil changes and they always do an amazing job. They even have a link to view your cars evaluation that shows what needs to be addressed. Weve been meineke customers for years, and I dont see that ever changing.

Great service

Well Saturday got an oil change simple right you would think not so had to get it towed back started smoking and steaming bad nervous scared and up set found out they for whatever reason left the radiator top off and yet no oil was in my car😱 now no car until Monday to see what damage may have happened very very very dissatisfied customer and upset over simple supposedly oil changeto be continued😭.

Took my car in for some repairs & maintenance; they gave me honest status of the car down to the details. Good pricing both labor/parts and great work done on the car. No complains, work on it went smooth. Satisfied with the end result, car runs great. Will go there again

I really appreciate they the have appointments for oil changes. It gets me in and out quickly. However they always have a lot of things that they say my car needs. I guess it is because they need to upsell for business. But, HONESTY is very important! For example, they told me that I needed my transmission flushed. What they did not know is that I just had my transmission completely replaced eight weeks prior to this oil change.

They are a very busy shop. People at front desk are cordial, knowledgeable and take the time to explain what each problem was. Which one should be addressed first. The last time I looked under the hood, maybe a couple of weeks ago, it didnt look anything like it does now. They took a lot of time to inspect all the places they say in their ad. 23 point inspection. Im glad I chose that option. They gave me options of payment. I am already deeply in debt. I was treated like a person, not a dumb woman. Very polite. I am returning on Monday to get this startedSuggestions- give an AARP DISCOUNT. Its not much but its huge to some who live on ssi.

This shop will scam you!I had my AC system pressure tested and charged a few months ago at the Elk Grove location. The mechanics told me I would need to provide them a new high pressure switch to finish the job. So I purchased a new switch for the mechanics to install. Now a few months and only 1,000 miles later, my AC is not working. I took it back to the shop and the mechanics told me the high pressure switch and o-ring seal is defective and caused a leak. They told me that because I provided the new switch the warranty doesnt cover the repair.First, why was I required to purchase a part for the system that would void the warranty from future repair? Second, a high pressure switch doesnt have the capability of leaking. The leak would have to be caused from damage or improper installation of the o-ring seal.Im displeased at the lack of compromise from this shop. The only solution they offered was for me to again provide a new switch and pay full price for the system to be tested and recharged. I find it shady that this shop would intentionally orchestrate a plan to void themselves from any warranty repairs.

Very easy and cheap visit for an oil change. Staff was knowledgeable on my old Civic, and tool good care of it. Suggested fixes, but didnt push it on me. Quite good.

The tire pressure indicator went on while I was in Elk Grove. I told the staff I needed to pick up my granddaughter in Galt in an hour. They made it a priority to locate the problem and patch the tire so I could leave in time. Thanks so much. They were so professional and helpful and timely.

We have always had great service and vehicle care over the last 4 years. We took my pickup to have some work done. First off they couldn’t figure out the problem. They never called to update me. I finally had to call if I wanted any information. They said they had to check with Dodge about the problem. They told me they just reset the instrument panel and truck was ready to pick up!! I asked if they had done the oil change and replaced the dipstick tube ? They forgot . I finally got a call the next day saying they were slammed and they had to order the part. It should be done by Saturday morning. This had been 5 days since I brought it in.

Dont waste your time or money here. I certainly wont be coming here again. The technicians who work here are deceitful and careless. They either wont do everything they are being paid to do, or they will damage your vehicle and hope you wont notice.I came in for an oil change on 2/2/19 and had them replace the serpentine belt while I was there which took three hours. In the process they damaged one of the lift supports that holds up the hood of the car and didnt disclose it in the paperwork. The hood opened fine the day before and when I tried opening the hood not 10 minutes after I left, it wouldnt stay open. I went back to the location and they refused to accept any responsibility for it or try to fix it. The Meineke corporate office initially acted like they were going to help me but a week later they called me back to let me know that it wouldnt be fixed and that was their final determination. I will never go back to a Meineke location again.I will also mention that while I was there another customer came in and called them out on not rotating his tires. He said he checked the tire pressure in the front and rear tires and they were no different than what they were before they were supposedly rotated. Very sketchy. I should have gotten out of there when I heard this.Keep your vehicle far away from this place.

Excellent, helpful customer service! Had a check engine light that their tech Caleb diagnosed and was able to pinpoint when and where and how the issue was happening! Cheaper rates than most Elk Grove mechanics and always have coupons or promotions going on.

My A/C went out and I took it to a place and they said they fixed it. It went out again on a triple digit week. Took it to Mieneke and they found the real problem and fixed it fast and well. Then my brakes started grinding. Took it to Mieneke and they fixed it while I waited. Good prices too. Excellent results and fast service every time. Better than all other places.

So I gave this location a 3. I waited an hour and like 10 mins for an oil change. I paid $98 for an oil change and cabin air filter change, which, okay fine whatever. They didn’t let me know how much oil they replaced, if they filled my tires or if they replaced windshield washer fluid. Nothing. They just said okay your car is done, off you go. But while waiting I thought the front guy was a little rude, not in attitude at all, but mostly just manners. He was burping out loud and stuff. May or may not be going back. I’ve paid less else where and have received better service but wanted to give them a try.

The only thing I would recommend this place for is an oil change. I was pretty upset with my experience here. They will talk nice and act like they care but they just want your money. I took my car in to check out a weird whistling noise. And twice I paid them to have my car repaired and the person that was explaining the problem with my car did not even go on the car ride with me. They would change the part that they thought needed replacing and would send me on their way home and not to check to see if the problem was still their. If they didnt know what the problem I would rather they be honest about it. It was not until the 3rd time did they have their master tech go on a car ride with me and find the problem I was complaining about.

I thought the person behind the desk was very knowledgeable and helpful but as I was leaving I noticed whoever were service my car had hit the windshield wipers and did not clean out he left them all messed up plus my back window to he hit that and that was all messed up he didnt clean it and my car smells like burnt oil for about a couple of days so he must have spilled two other than that it was a good place but they need to have more respect for peoples cars
