There really good about scheduling and getting your car in and out when you get it serviced. But also they are super dog friendly I bring my dog with me when I get my car serviced and she always has a good time because all the employees like to come by to give her a pet.

Called on a whim mid roadtrip, in need of an oil change and hoping for a windshield repair. Mike jumped right to my call, got the repair guy into the shop, and I was in and out in just a few hours. They even let my dog cool off inside. Everyone was lovely and the service was great.

Joe in sales is the cliche sleezy car salesman. I went back and forth with him for over a week trying to get them to price match Roseville Subaru, which he said he couldnt because they car they had in stock would sell in the next day or so. Fine.Cut to a week later, the car is still available, Joe calls me at 11am and says hell sell it to me at the price I want if I came that day. I agreed and said I would be there at 3pm, he said he would hold the car.Joe calls me back at 1:30pm and says there is someone on the lot buying the car, and that he is going to sell it to him.Do yourself a favor and just go to Roseville Subaru, their prices are lower and the customer service is by far superior.

This is way overdue. My credit wasnt really good but they went through many options to fit my budget and price range. I was skeptical if I can afford a 0 mileage car and Elk Grove Subaru gave me that confidence. From now on, Im never going to look for a car at a used dealer unless I truly need a beater car. Love my WRX. The only regret I have is not coming here earlier.

I can’t express enough how great Elk Grove Subaru was to me. First off, Rachel was my sales person. She was incredible! I couldn’t have imagined a better person to help me find my new car. If you are talking to any sales people whether it be at Subaru or any other dealership, please go see Rachel at some point. She’s just amazing!! In general, Elk Grove is great but I have one complaint---I was waiting for my car to be serviced, for awhile, when I looked up to see my car sitting outside, obviously having been done, but no one came to tell me it was ready...?! I had to go ask what was happening, the rep who started my service had gone to lunch, no one seemed to know what was happening. They finally figured it out, got my paperwork and key, but this shouldnt happen.

Most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had!! I did my application online the night before. Showed up at 9:30 the next morning they had the car started up and ready to test drive when I showed up. I was out the door by 11:30 with my new car. My mom had a flat tire and got the spare put on. The following day we dropped the car off at the dealership to get inspected. An hour later we got a voicemail from service advisor Paul Mills. I still have the voicemail saved. He said that the tire was slashed and unrepairable. He luckily had only one in stock for a total of $211.33. What a great, helpful guy! I refused the repair and picked the car up to get a cheaper tire somewhere else. When I went to another shop they said it was only a nail and they fixed it for $40.I called the dealership and spoke to Paul. I asked for an explanation and he couldnt provide one initially, then, of course, he passed the blame onto the tech in the back. I said I needed to speak to someone who can fix this so it doesnt happen again. He said sure, let me transfer you to the manager, then immediately hung up.This is unethical and the whole operation needs to be investigated. I have attached photos of both, their estimate and the tire shop repair order. Buyers beware, especially buyers who all they know about cars is driving them. I filed a complaint with BAR.

I came in with my partner to purchase a car and realized it surpassed our budget. We kept trying to leave and say No. We cant because we truly couldnt proceed. We even offered to take their cards and let them know the next day if wed changed our minds. They kept insisting we could afford the car- and I mean INSISTING. Earlier that day, we made small talk with the salesmen about our upcoming wedding and he tried to reason that city hall would be cheaper TO CONVINCE US TO BUY A CAR! The store manager, or the boss, made me so uncomfortable. He pushed the price down into our budget, way down actually. But he was literally pleading with us to stay and buy it. They couldnt take no for answer. As someone with high levels of anxiety, Im shocked I didnt have a panic attack then and there. Very unprofessional. They even texted us after we managed to sneak away! Guys, this is my first negative review ever. Please find a better place for your hard earned money- especially the young, tight-budgeted couples out there.TLDR; Car salesmen couldnt take No for an answer and practically harassed us and almost gave me an anxiety attack.

Great customer service in the sales department. I havent use their car service yet, so I cant say. Most importantly, I wanted to thank you Curtis for doing his best for helping me with getting a good deal on the car I want. Before choosing what I like most, he let me test out 3 cars to see what I like most. He was very patient and respectful. I really appreciated that. He never once rush me, or give me any sign of not being happy. Elk Grove Subaru have such a hard-working man who loves his job. Keep him for a long time! Other than that, I love my car. I wish Elk Grove Subaru would gave me a full tank of gas and wash my car for the last time before taking it home, haha. Thank you all again for helping me!

We honesty being Honda and Toyota owners in the past went to those dealerships first and werent blown away by neither the vehicles nor the staff. Being in need of a second car and having many friends and family members rave about their Subaru we decided to give one a test drive.To set the scene when we drove into the lot at Elk Grove Subaru we were1) hot and tired2) apprehensive about incurring a monthly payment considering the current market3) tired of being sold on a vehicle that wasnt right for us - I understand this is a salesmans job and am not trying to knock them, just expressing our feeling.Thats where we were when approached by Nico - as his card states Dr Subaru. He listened, was personable and did not pressure! He was respectful, knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely easy to talk to. Lucky for us he set the bar for everyone we encountered throughout the process. We left the very satisfied new owners of an Outback.If youre in the market for a new vehicle I couldnt give a higher recommendation than Elk Grove Subaru.

Mixed experiences. Customer service is fine if the issues straightforward. I wouldnt recommend that anyone go in for a repair or replacement that isnt under warranty. Go to a small shop where the mechanics are thorough and actually explain whats wrong with your car. This place makes a big deal about offering a free overall check with each repair, but both of the surveys I got back had errors.

Just purchased a new car here. My experience was very mixed. I mostly dealt with Chris Kobus, and he was great. Very helpful, low pressure, easy to deal with. I recommend him. The issue was that throughout the purchasing process the sales manager would come into Chris office and apply very uncomfortable, high-pressure sales tactics. I was very clear going into it that I was not going to purchase anything that day, but he pressed VERY hard. Lots of guilt trips about how much money hes losing on this car. Constant threats that many other people are looking at this car and were going to buy it before me. Eventually I just left because it was so uncomfortable. The next day I got in touch with Chris to see if the offer was still on the table, which it was. When I arrived the sales manager popped back in and tried to reverse the offer, it was a slow day yesterday so I was willing to take the hit, I dont know about today.... Overall, a very sleazy car dealer. Chris I recommend. The sales manager (I do not have his name) I would strongly advise to avoid.

Before I speak directly about my purchase experience, I had already decided I would buy a Subaru. I was coming from and older vehicle that was having every increasing repair costs and everyone I know with a Subaru loves them for their reliability. I came to this dealer because I already knew folks that purchased vehicles from them and had reported positive experiences highlighting that the sales staff aren’t pushy, deals are relatively fair with reasonable room for negotiation and the staff make the experience as comfortable as possible. I can now say that I had the same experience. I was not bombarded by sales folks the second we arrived. While I was greeted, the staff member seemed to sense that I wanted to browse for a while and gave the appropriate amount of space for me to look around and consider my options. When I was ready, I asked to test drive and Outback 3.6r Touring edition. I was able to test the only one left on the lot and was immediately impressed with the vehicle. When I decided to move forward with the purchase the sales staff continued made sure the process was as comfortable and painless as possible. I don’t like haggling over price so that wasn’t much fun but that had nothing to do with the sales staff and after a fair amount of discussion and exploring different options, we arrived at what I thought was a fair price. While I did leave feeling bit overwhelmed at spending more than I wanted to spend, I will note that I got a much higher trim than I set out to get so the price I paid was a logical increase given what I chose to purchase; definitely not a statement of paying too much. The last step was financing which was on special for the Outback so I was happy with that and while signing papers was a bit of being reminded of going through a home purchase (ok, not that bad), the finance department made it as simple and streamlined as possible. Post sale Subaru has kept in contact post sale to make sure I have everything I need and has provided numerous tools to make sure I get the most out of the vehicle. Finally, a few days later I was back at the dealer to have what they call “the finishing touch” applied and the service staff was very professional and helpful given they have had numerous construction challenges with expanding their service department.

Came in with and already loan and was a proved for a 2020 forester and then came a few days later and they had a 2016 ford explore. Future ford wanted 9k down with a 17% interest rate and payments of 700-800 a month. Subaru asked 4k down and 7% interest rate and only 411$ a month. Thank you Elk Grove subaru

During that warranty work, they found another warranty issue and were incredibly helpful accommodating my busy schedule and the family emergency I was dealing with at the time. Sales team was pleasant to deal with, were courteous and not too pushy. The finance guy got a little rude and flippant when I wouldnt purchase the extended warranty or maintenance plan. Took five hours. Felt like I got a good deal on the car. I would tell family and friends exactly this and add they could very well have a better experience at a different Subaru dealership - the experience wasnt outstanding to where Id recommend ONLY Elk Grove Subaru.

Elk Grove Subaru has been a good dealership for the past three years we’ve had our Forrester. I am very disappointed that they are not taking COVID 19 health precautions seriously in their facility. I dropped my car off today for service. While waiting in the showroom I saw several employees walking around without masks. I saw a customer service rep talking in close proximity with a customer with his mask half off his face-nose not covered. I also saw customers enter the service area without a mask - no employee said anything. This makes me feel that Lasher Subaru does not take the safety and health of its customers seriously. In my opinion, this lax attitude towards the state law requiring masks in most public settings is the reason the pandemic continues to be out of control in this country.

I called in with my problem and the guy helped me fix it over the phone. When my battery died, my front window controls stopped working correctly. He said they just needed to be reset and walked me through it on the phone. I wanted a very specific color and feature set for my Forester, and I ended up contacting Subaru dealerships all over Northern California. Alan and the team at Elk Grove were exceptional, and I would travel 100 miles to buy my next Subaru from them in a heartbeat. Their pricing and customer service blew everyone else out of the water. Alan was particularly helpful - the car I wanted was due to arrive when I was scheduled to be out of town. Unlike many other Subaru dealerships, Elk Grove doesnt currently allow customers to reserve/hold vehicles by putting down a $500 deposit, so this was of some concern as the vehicle I wanted was in very short supply. But, Alan stayed in communication with me and contacted me as soon as the car arrived on the lot. I was able to head up there the next day and purchase the vehicle before I left for my trip. He also arranged to have a missing luggage compartment cover shipped to me at no cost when I discovered it was missing the day after I got the car home. He didnt contest it or give me a hard time at all. Wonderful customer service. I have been, and will continue to recommend Elk Grove to anyone who is considering a Subaru purchase.

DISHONEST! I visited this past weekend looking for a Subaru, this dealership told me they did not have the color I was looking for in stock, but maybe they could do a dealer trade for me. They go on to tell me that since they would have to go out of their way to get it the price is less flexible. They also tell me that the trim level I want will not come with blind spot assist no matter what.I’m SO glad I decided to hold off and think about it. The same afternoon I see the exact color I was looking for on their website, I inquire about it and they tell me it’s available. Now I’ve also come to find out from another dealer that blind spot assist can come on any trim level, depending on the package you choose. At Elk Grove Subaru they were either ignorant or just trying to sell me the package they had. I will take my business elsewhere.UPDATE: I bought the exact car I wanted at Diablo Subaru in Walnut Creek and had a wonderful experience there.

I last bought a Subaru in 1999. 7/1/15 visit unexpectedly pleasant. Efficient, knowledgeable staff. No wasted time. Orientation quick,clear, concise. Im not sure what I expected but cars and at least one dealership have certainly changed and all for the better for the customer. Bruce Cunningham was prepared, courteous, friendly, and, most important knowledgeable and helpful.

The Subaru Brand cars are not advanced enough to meet todays new car competition, especially for a much higher than average price tag. Lower end car brands are much further advanced for far less $ and still very safe. For the price, I would purchase a luxury vehicle.

I live in Sacramento and was looking for a Subaru, but was not happy with my local dealers, primarily Maita. After some exstensive research, I found that Elk Grove Subaru was very highly rated, and despite the distance and dealing with Hwy 99, I decided to try them. It was a fantastic decision. I was greeted right at the door by Art, one of the sales people. He was friendly, courteous, helpful, and most importantly he knew his cars. He spent hours with me making sure I found exactly the right vehicle for my needs - I was looking at new, but found a used low mileage 2017 Outback that had the same exact features of as the 2019, but was $1000s less. Mike and the finance dept. were also amazing, and I was surprised when they found a low interest loan that blew my mind. Everyone at that location is very helpful and friendly, and it was the best car buying experience of my life. I highly recommend them, and I would definitely ask for Art.

I bought Subaru Outback from Elk Grove, love their service. Dickson Yip did amazing job selling the car to me, did not push me to buy a car, very relaxed atmosphere. I was about to leave because they did not have the color that I wanted on-line, so I asked Dickson Yip if they have that color, so he check, and they had the color of the car that I wanted still wrapped nobody has test driven, so I was the first one. I bought a new 2018 Impreza with jet spray finishing touches. After waiting 2 days for car to be sprayed It came back with a large scratch in bumper and seats were not sprayed. Elk grove did a good job selling the car, but customer service lacked greatly due to not spraying entire car. Also I was told they did not scratch the car. Please go to gold rush subaru.

Are you one of the thousands and thousands of Subaru customers who have had your windshield randomly crack? The windshield on my sons 2016 Forester (which is still under warranty) had a long crack that mysteriously appeared overnight. We took the car to the Elk Grove dealership and the service technician actually dug a hold in the glass with a pen and then said the crack was the result of an impact. There was no impact site until he created it. I spoke to the service manager, Kurtis Klima, who was no help at all. He actually said it wasnt his problem, but was Subarus problem and we should contact Subaru. Not sure who he thinks he works for, but his business card has Subaru on it. There are thousands of complaints about all Subaru models with these windshield problems and this dealer wont take responsibility. Many people have had multiple windshields installed and the problem reappears. Its clearly a manufacturers defect. In May 2018 Subaru lost a case where they attempted to stop a class-action lawsuit related to these windshield problems for certain models. Maybe if we all file complaints in Small Claims Court, this dealership and Subaru will realize its cheaper to keep their customers happy than pay someone to appear in court over and over again.

I bought a 2012 legacy from these guys and was not a happy experience. I drove it home and wanted to bring it back the next day. Something is definitely wrong with the front end. Ive taken it back several times, they can hear it but they cant diagnose the problem. But they always found something wrong with it..I would not recommend these guys. I would not recommend paying cash out the door for a vehicle...dont purchase from these guys..they dont take the time to make it easy on you..its gonna cost me $2500 to get it repaired. When Ive tried to talk to them they ignore my emails..and arent taking me serious ..its been a year ago and Ive been back to them eight times and they dont want to make it right....they are not into satisfying customers! I felt pressured! Thats my experience. And I paid cash! SMH!

I had the most pleasant, and quickest experience at Elk Grove Subaru, specifically working with Bruce C via email. Bruce is very knowledgable and struck up a deal that made it worth our while to drive 2 hours to see him. I recommend Elk Grove very highly and could not have asked for an easier or more straight forward transaction. Bruce and the staff even went out of their way to make sure our 1-year old was entertained and had toys to play with. Would I go back/recommend? Yes in a heartbeat!Elk Grove Subaru was highly recommended from a friend who worked closely with Mike Kim. Mr. Kim greeted me in an expansive lobby filled with pristine examples of the finest that Subaru has to offer. Mike then explained that there were quite a few vehicles that would meet my expectations. Ironically the very first Subaru he showed me, the first car I actually looked at in person, ended up being the car I decided to purchase. Mike expedited the sale as I watched sports television in the comfortable waiting area. Jeremy finalized the details of the final sale, making every aspect of my visit to Elk Grove Subaru wonderful!The vehicle I bought had very low mileage and is extremely clean! It definitely beats out every other Subaru I researched before coming to Elk Grove Subaru.
