My apartment here was my first experience living away from my parents. I lived here with my girlfriend and our two cats. The community is lovely, the location is great (about 5 minutes away from SIUE campus and near town), and management is always willing to help! We’re moving out of state now, but otherwise we would absolutely stay here! The only problem is that online maps don’t help to get to specific buildings, so sometimes deliveries end up in at the wrong buildings. I would recommend Silver Oaks and Silver Oaks II apartments to anyone!

If you want to be your own maintenance person, live here! Maintenance requests are only taken seriously if you report it frequently and insist they take a look, otherwise, it is forgotten and dropped. Need to do your laundry? They machines will usually work, but if they don’t, don’t count on them fixing them.

Wonderful place to live. Management is great. Everybody is very nice to live around. Nice place to live with a dog. Would love to live here longer if we were not moving out of state!

My husband and I have been here about 4 months and have an 8 month lease. The apartments are fairly large, excellent storage space, very secure, only place in town with a fitness center, its great. Yes, its a little more expensive than everything else around, but with all that youre getting, Silver Oaks II is fairly worth it. The landlords are super nice and usually take care of things quickly. My only complaint is that the kitchen could use a little more storage room and counter space.
