On top of that this boat tour is owned and operated by Pam herself and nothing is better then supporting local!! February 4, 2021Today was filled with many blessings...the most memorable is experiencing real sailing, watching the dolphins coming up for air, jumping out of the water and swimming directly under me as I was laying down in a net. They were so close, I felt like I could touch them. Absolute perfection!Sailing with Captain Pam abroad her new Trimaran, Nice Tri. What an AMAZING sailboat and I have missed how she makes me laugh!!Together, we remembered the passing of her father 24 years ago. He would be so proud of her if he were here on earth. But I know he is smiling down on his daughter!We celebrated life with Morris (Pops) who is 84 years young. He loved the sailing and easily walked around on the deck.Today, I completed round 16 of cancer treatments which is an absolute miracle.Finally, our Heavenly Father gifted us with an escort of 🐬 dolphins as we sailed back home.With so many blessings and smiles from sailing and the dolphins, I had to learn more about dolphins and started with scriptures.DolphinsChristian symbolism expresses the dolphin as an aspect of Christ. Dolphins seen in Christian art are a symbol of the resurrection.Dolphins and the exodus:There is a rather lovely story based on the appearance of the dolphin in the Exodus story. It begins with the charming description of the Isrealites, fleeing Egypt and being chased by Pharaoh’s army, coming to the Red Sea:When our ancestors, the children of Israel, escaped from Egypt, they found the dolphins of the Red Sea waiting for them, chirping their happy dolphin-chirping sounds and splashing the blue waters of the Red Sea with their flat tails.It then goes on to describe how, when the waters had been parted, the dolphins acted as marine shepherds, attempting to keep the fish from swimming into midair and dying on the land. Likewise, they by using their noses to nudge all the goats, sheep and cows away from the walls of water (where they were apt to stray), they prevented them from drowning! They also used their tales to keep at bay the Egyptian army. Unfortunately, some of the dolphins were so busy with their humanitarian efforts that they did not here God’s warning and were caught as the walls of water broke and were killed by the weapons of the drowning Egyptian soldiers. To mark their efforts, they were instructed by God to collect the skins of the dead dolphin heroes and to use them to help cover the tabernacle.But God commanded Moses and Moses told the people to gather up the dolphins, prepare their skins, and sew them together to make a tent covering that would be the top tent for the great golden box that would hold the words of God written on the stone tablets by Moses on Mount Sinai. Moses said, “When you see this tent of dolphin skins, I want you to remember that we did not leave Egypt and become a free people without a lot of help.”Pam, thank you for today’s blessings!!

My family of 4 did the 2 hour sailing trip. It was one of the highlights of our week in Destin! Captain Pam is knowledgeable and skilled. My husband sails and she let him take over the helm for quite a bit of our sail-- much to his delight! Our kids LOVED the hammock that Pam strung up for them. We saw a bunch of dolphins, but it wouldve been just as fun if we hadnt seen any. Would definitely recommend this tour and would do it again on a future visit to the area.

What an amazing experience we had to end our trip. We wanted to surprise our parents for their anniversary and what a perfect activity to do. Capt. My family an I took a sunset Cruise Thursday night March 4, 2021. The weather was great and the wind was just right. Captain Pam sailed us out into the Gulf and we watched the dolphins play in front of the boat. Sailed back into the bay and watched the sun set, what a great sun set. Captain Pam is great, very informative and will answer any questions. I would recommend a sail with her any time. Online booking was super easy! The sail was a great time, and we will do it again.

I thought the lady that I spoke on the phone was kind and friendly to book our reservation a day in advance, later i found out, the person that answered my call was not only the captain, but also the owner of the business. Captain Pam is apparently loved by all the other vessel captains, as information on weather, dolphin sightings, idiots on sea-doos, is shared readily with her by all of the other ships. You want to see dolphins? Captain Pam can make it happen. You want to gather sea shells? Captain Pam shows you the place she went when she was in high school. You wanna fish? Captain Pam grew up in the gulf dipping water out of her dads bass boat while he fished. You need inside information on where to eat, where to parasail, where to snorkel. . . well, you get the idea. Her vessel is well taken care of, clean, and has everything you need for a 3 hour tour. She loves what she does, and I felt safe and relaxed the entire trip. Cant wait to go book the next time we are down on vacation, the kids have already put this on the must do list. Awesome experience sailing, dolphin watching, and snorkeling!

After searching for an excursion we decided to go with Smile and Wave Sailing and so glad that we did. Captain Pam was awesome! We got to see dolphins leap out of the water. We went snorkeling and Found lots of shells that we got to take home. I have an 8 year old son who can talk your ear off and Captain Pam Let him sit right next to her and was awesome with him! This excursion was well worth it!!

We went on a sailing trip with Captain Pam for my babys 1st birthday and we had the best time!! Ee saw dolphins 🐬 and sailed beyond the jetties into beautiful crystal clear water and Captain Pam took a ton of AMAZING group pictures and she showed my baby how to be a boat Captain and my baby LOVED it!! This was the best part of our trip!! She was awesome and felt like family after the short few hours we spent with her! She made sure we saw dolphins, she showed us starfish and picked up a jellyfish! Jellyfish were all over crab island and she even got out in it and helped us all return to the boat safely!! She was the absolute best! Will definitely have her take us out again when we go back!!

Second year in a row going out with Capt. Pam. Awesome job!Unfortunately. A super strong microburst hit the catamaran with sails fully up. Mast broke off with sails, ropes everywhere. We had the best experience of a boat tour with Captain Pam. From finding dolphins to snorkelling, she exactly knows all the sweet spots in the water that made our day. In addition, she has an awwwessoommmeee boat. We loved her boat, along with the sound system on it, we had loads of fun. AMAZING! This boat was amazing. It was fast and fun. I even felt very safe with my kid aboard. We went to the rock jetties and went snorkeling where we saw tons of little fish. After getting wore out in the water we took a nice long sail out in the Gulf of Mexico. Capt. Pam knew what she was doing tweaking the sails out for top speed. The water was beautiful and Capt. Pam was too. I can not wait to go out sailing with Pam again. I think we talk to her every other week about when we are going to go out with her again. Highly recommended to do when in Destin!
