Rent pontoons only. I DO NOT recommend this place for renting jet skis. I booked or reserved on phone 2 days prior to the day of for 8 hours, I never received a confirmation text like the girl on phone would said. I get there the day of and they have me booked for the next day, THEIR fault. So they could only give me 4 hours, whatever. But these jet skis, their all beat up. Every corner is plastered, puttied, and either spray painted white or painted with a brush. The are completely unstable and tip over very easy. When I returned, on the left rear of jet ski, where you could OBVIOUSLY tell the area had been plastered, puttied, and painted over 30 times, some of the paint/plaster had come off. This did not match the video of it before I took it out. I never hit anything or anyone.I had it for 4 hours and 2 hours 45 minutes of that 4 hours it was tied off to a pontoon. When I docked the pontoon, I got off it about 10 feet away and pushed it towards pontoon and tied it off where it sat for hours. Later, brought it back. The paint or plaster or mold that came off was probably from the water hitting it and/or me stepping off and on to it. But they didn’t care, they wanted my $45 for the repair. Extortion. I’m sure it will get spray painted for 50 cents and the next guy that returns it will get treated as I did. I paid the stupid $45 because I had family waiting on me on a pontoon. But I very not pleased now 2 years in a row with jet ski rentals from that place. How about some new jet skis that don’t tip over and aren’t all damaged and wrecked up? Again, EXTORTION.

Most rental places are sticklers. But when you on the Emerald Coast you need a team that is flexible and understands that rain clouds come and go, kids make you late and sometimes things just don’t go as planned. BCWS is a great team and a family run business. Their boats are top notch and pricing is competitive. You will be very happy renting from these folks. My crew certainly had a great day!

Paddleboarding was by far my favorite part of my first beach vacation. Mallory was super nice in showing us how to use the board and giving us directions. Cant wait to do it again.

Every vacation we like to rent a pontoon and the last couple of times we added a couple of jet skis. The boat we rented was so nice and looked new. We were late getting to our rental time and they stayed late to let us make up the time. They didn’t have to do that. Highly recommend this place. They are very thorough and make sure you feel comfortable taking the boat or jet skis out. Thanks Blue Crab for a great day on the water.

Great customer service and good equipment! After a through briefing on the ski, the lay of the land (water in this case) and the local laws we spent a few hours on water and really enjoyed it. We did manage to loose an ignition key when we stopped/jumped off at crab island, totally our fault as they connect to the vest and they float so not sure how we didn’t notice it was gone. The owner came out and gave us a new one as soon as possible. Really nice, can’t recommend them enough.

Excellent equipment. Super super friendly staff. Flexible. We called in near the end of our rental to see if the boat was booked. It was not booked after us and we were able to buy more time. Crab Island is awesome

While on vacation me and my fiancé rented a jet ski for half the day. I had only been on a jet ski once in my life (Great Lake state) so I was pretty nervous to be on one. After getting past the wake zone the water was really rough with the amount of people out there that evening. It made me feel like we were going to flip it with our weight being pretty close to the max limit. I started to have a panic attack while riding on the back.(fear of falling off) I had to have my fiancé pull off to the shore just past the wake zone to get off. I’ve never been more terrified in my life. Lmao worst experience. I’m so glad I bought a water proof case for my phone & brought it with me. I had to call Mallory & let he know what happened and she came out there to get us on a boat & drove our jet ski back. Now we had paid upfront for half a day & only actually used the rental for about 45mins - 1hr. I was told they don’t do refunds. I felt like that was just a lot of money I had wasted & I ended getting in contact with David the owner, he was very nice & I explained the situation to him & he was able to refund me $86 which was better then nothing. Mallory and the owner David were very understanding & showed good customer service.

Very satisfied with everything about Blue Crab Water Sports!! We were very happy with our experience last year and we made sure to rent a pontoon boat for the second time from Blue Crab. The boat was in great condition, the customer service was exceptional and we had a fantastic time out of the water! The owners provided very good instructions and suggestions and and Cole went above and beyond to help us however he could. He carried our cooler up the stairs even when I told him I could get it... very high class customer service! We will definitely go back to Blue Crab Water Sports for our water fun in the future!!! There jet skis were awesome!! And they are seriously the nicest people ever. I liked that they cared for our safety and made sure we understood everything and the best ways to travel on the jet ski. Will definitely be going back!

We rented 2 boats over 4th of July and the staff and equipment was fantastic, shout out to Mallory(who was at the desk) and I cant remember the guys name that helped us with the boat but he had awesome jorts and curly hair.Highly recommend this place!

What a great experience I had with Blue Crab. I had called 3 months in advance to book 2 pontoon boats. When I called the week before David remembered my name and worked w/ me till the day of. He was so nice and helpful with all the questions and request I had made. Thank you David for being so patient w/ me. The boats were new, very clean, and up to date w/ technology (meaning one could sync their phone w/ their radio). They helped us with carrying our things on and off the boat. What a great company. This is the best place in Destin to take a jet ski dolphin tour or rent a pontoon boat! David was an outstanding guide and knows his way around. We took a dolphin tour in the morning and came back to rent a pontoon boat for the afternoon. All of the boats and skis looked very new and well cared for. The staff was super friendly! We will definitely be using them again when we are back in Destin!!

A nice little bonus was watching the hermit crabs crawling everywhere when we docked our boat at the end of the day! They have plastic bags for your phones and wallets. They will also keep your things for you until you get back. We left them with wallets and jewelry. They are very honest and trustworthy. I was very impressed with Blue Crab. You will not be disappointed!!!

Rented paddle boards for 2 hours for $40. Great prices and very accommodating staff! My only real complaint is location - they are pretty far into the marina. Paddling out to crab island only took 25 minutes but paddling back in a more active marina took nearly an hour. I also missed having a leg leash on the board. I would recommend renting from blue crab!

Brand new boats and great service. The employees were super nice and very helpful and informed. Easy location and easy to find. Bring lots of beer as the floating bars are crazy expensive and have long wait. I will for sure rent a boat here again.

We just rented paddle boards there and they were just the nicest people! Turns out our go pro was dead when we got there and they just let us use theres and put our sim card in it. Cant beat that kind of customer service. Its also very reasonably priced. Much better than two other places I called. It was a challenging paddle out to crab island from there, but really fun. We had a dolphin hang out with us for a bit...so cool. Definitely recommend this place!

Rented a pontoon boat and jet ski. Didnt have reservation but they were able to accommodate same day. Even called us while out that there was a cancellation and offered us to keep it longer. Ben is awesome! He was able to answer all of our questions and when we got into a bit of a mess he came out to rescue. Will definitely use them again when we return.

Wanted to rent a boat last minute, Blue Crab Water Sports was the only place on the peninsula able to come through. The boats were brand new and the service was excellent. I will rent from Blue Crab again.

Great service! They have 1 person and 2 person Kayaks and they open seven days a week! We had a great time.

Not bad, I usually rent from another place but they didnt have any boats available. Blue crab was cheaper and as always you get what you pay for. The boat was an older model, that had no radio, horn, and the fuel guage didnt work. However, it was still a good time and I would recommend.

If we could give this company more than 5 stars, we would! Blue Crab Watersports went above and beyond with their customer service. We had a reservation for a pontoon rental for July 4th weekend but the water quality was a bit of a concern at the time. They provided us updates and answered all of our questions. They even called us back multiple times with water quality information, without being asked. We decided to keep our reservation and were so glad we did! They met us in the parking lot to help with coolers and such. They were all very nice and professional. We would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a fun day on a boat!

The season has been superb!!! Brand new Yamaha Skis have been fantastic. Weather awesome.

The prices are fair and cheaper compared to companies nearby. Its downstairs from the marine cafe, took us sometime to find it lol. We called them because noone was at the booth and they showed up in a few minutes. Very nice, friendly, laidback and fast. We went to the crab island and had a blast. Really fun. One hour and halfpassed by so quickly so I recommend renting for 2 hours.

Back from the road and hidden a bit, but dont be fooled by the yacht club. Blue Crab has some of the best prices for waverunner rentals around, as well as being the most helpful and accomadating. Definitely give them your business, they deserve it.

The owner is an absolute crooked jerk. while we were out on the bay the waters were a little rough, we hit a wave while moving at about 8 - 10 knots. the anchor flew off of the front of the boat and the prop cut the anchor rope. I returned to the dock and explained what happened the young man tending the dock replaced the anchor and told me to spend some extra time out on the water since we lost about 45 min of or time. when we returned at the end of the day the young man told me his boss said we must pay for the lost anchor. I spoke with the owner over the and he told me we shouldnt have been out in such rough water! he was extremely rude and unwilling to listen to reason. I handed the phone back to his employee and left. when I checked my credit card moments later they had charged me $100 for the anchor!

The price was great, the service was outstanding, & the people were great! HIGHLY recommended!
