We live right at the Cross-Roads of 70 & 75 and you do not hear any noise from the highway nor were we affected in my building from the Memorial Day Tornados (15 of them) But right down the street & everyone else was.😇 Angels are watching over us 🇺🇸

I was denied an application, because the office manager Ava Turner is prejudice. In her exact words she’s “the only employee that works here”. She had me stand outside her office while she finished a personal phone conversation, just to tell me that I didn’t make enough when she didn’t check my stubs to begin with.

I’ve been here since 2018 and I still love it here. There’s plenty of parking, and the neighborhood is superb. Our apartment (like any apartment duh) has had its few and far share of issues and those same issues were IMMEDIATELY addressed. Eva and her maintenance man CARE and you can feel it! I feel completely safe and sound here. I’ve recommended this apartment complex to many people and I will continue to recommend in the future!! ❤️

Had to find a place to live very quickly due to a bad living situation and on top of that the pandemic was going on, needless to say it was stressful as hell. Lucky for me a great person like Eva works here! She is wonderful! Ive had my share of landlords and let me tell ya.. they can be really...difficult people... lol. But Eva is the total opposite. Ive lived here since November and she has been so kind and helpful to me and my wife. I texted her about the ice out front our entrance and they were out there not 5 minuets later salting EVERYTHING DOWN. If you move here, atleast know coming in that the office personnel (and not just Eva even though she is so great) really seem to be about helping people. Curt and Kaitlyn have also been very kind and a pleasure to talk to.

I have lived here for over 5 years and still love it. If you are looking for an affordable, clean place to live, I would highly recommend Timberlake. Also, the way a place is managed is important to me. Eva is really friendly and has always treated me fairly and politely. The same goes for Kurt, the maintenance man. Overall, Timberlake is a great place to call home.

Ive lived at Timberlake for a little over 6 years and by far the best part is the people. The manager is one of the best people Ive ever met. She truly cares for her tenants and does her best within her power to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. The maintenance man is as cool as the other side of the pillow and fixes what needs fixed very quickly. Its one of the best places for the price. Anyone who is looking for a place to live I always jump at the chance to suggest Timberlake.

I feel like if you’re looking for affordable, safe housing this community would be a good fit for you. The people are friendly and I’ve never felt concerned when coming in the building, even late a night. Also, the staff in the office handles any issue or repair you might have very quickly! An added bonus would be the deck off the back for sure!

These people writing these reviews dont live in building 4. It is awful. If you dont live on the 3rd floor you are in for a living hell. The noise is horrible from people who live above you. In the back of building 4 forget the nice patios like you see in the front. We have had 3 sets people above us throw grease over their patio onto the grass killing it and twice onto our patio. Not a place to live if you dont have a bunch of kids or an income over $45,000. You will pay $200.00 more a month for rent and you will also have to pay for water. It isnt a great place to live if you see bldg. 4. Patios have dirt in between and no concrete all across. They dont get the leaves, or pick up trash. It looks worse than Northland projects except no violence yet.

Walls are paper thin so everyone knows everyone problems and will call to make complaints on you even if they dont know for sure its you or not. Been here since March and already planing on moving next tax time. I love the lady at the office Eva. Shes super nice and my kids love her.

I have been living here for almost 3 years now and I couldnt ask for a better place to live with my family! Everyone at the front office is very friendly and very accommodating and my neighbors are such sweet people! There isnt any drama and it is pretty quiet except for kids laughing or neighbors gathering for afternoon chats. We all look out for one another and really help each other out when something is needed. No Im not getting paid to place this comment. This is truelly a great place to live! And the apartment manager is pretty much the best person you will ever meet!!!

Timberlake apartments has several pros and cons. I was so excited when we moved into the complex nearly two and a half years ago. It was quiet, well kept, and lovely. It does have an excellent location directly between downtown Vandalia and Miller lane. The complex allows pets and allows you to paint whatever colors you like so long as they are painted back. This adds to the homey touch significantly! The units are affordable and fairly roomy. The community manager Eva is very nice and does well communicating with tenants. On the other hand, the clientele has become more and more unsavory, and we frequently have teenagers and thuggish young people hanging out in front of our door way. We have called the cops because it makes us uncomfortable. Were not really sure if all of them live in the building. The entire building also received a notice because some of them have been smoking cigarettes in the hallway and common areas. The hallways pretty constantly smells like marijuana and you can almost always hear people screaming at each other or their children in multiple other units. Groups of people tend to hang out in the parking lot at night as well. I work late hours, so it makes me nervous walking into the building alone. While there are laundry facilities on site, the washers and dryers in our building were nearly always broken, but there is a laundromat a short drive away. The fixtures and carpeting the complex is cheap--even with taking off shoes upon entering and carpet cleaning, the carpets stain easily and look unappealing. The laminate floor is scuff resistant but pulls up easily. Perhaps my least favorite part about Timberlake is their heinous 60 day notice policy for lease termination. You must know at least two months in advance if you want to renew your lease and even if you go month to month, must provide 60 days notice before vacating. It proved quite the struggle to find housing willing to wait two months for new tenants to move in, meaning simultaneous rents must be paid. Overall, Timberlake could be a good choice if youre on a budget and plan on staying for an extended period of time. Based on my experiences, I would not recommend for families with small children, or those seeking to lease another property after residing at Timberlake.

I dont know where the people who wrote these reviews live or lived but it certainally isnt the same Timberlake Apartments I live in the staff is very friendly an address your concerns in a polite an professional manner, when I have a problem with anything at all in my apartment Barbara has it fixed usually within 24 hours no manner how minor the problem is, she is a very friendly an outgoing person who takes her job seriously. As for bugs the most I have seen is a fly, maybe the roach picture is due to poor housekeeping. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone its a great place to live, friendly an well maintained.
