We have used JFK for the past 4+ years, ever since we purchased our home. They have serviced all our heating and AC needs in addition to plumbing needs. They are friendly, honest and simply a great company to work with. We have a home warranty company and JFK always goes the extra mile to help us contact and warranty company and get our needs met. If you have not tried them I highly recommend you do. Good companies like this are hard to find.

Great service, revived my old A/C unit that was having some issues with no pressure to do an expensive unit replacement now — which I know I’ll need soon. Will definitely use them next year for the new A/C install.

Knowledgeable, friendly and they perform quick service! Jim was able to quickly diagnose the problem with our AC was in our vents. Jim and Bryce then fixed all our problems a couple days later. It has been over a month now, with a few scorchers and a recent heat wave, but we are cool and comfortable!

This company was dispatched to my home through American home shield warranty after numerous companies have come out for my heating and air that have continuously duct taped the problem. Finally a company that knows what they are doing along with their technicians. Zach was at our place to fix plumbing issues below kitchen sink and he did a marvelous job. He fixed it so well that in future if there is an issue the entire pipeline doesn’t needs to be opened. Wonderful and knowledgeable person. He thoroughly tested each and every connection and ensured to leave the place Spic and span.

My kitchen sink clogged one evening and wouldn’t drain. I called JFK and they sent someone out the following afternoon! The plumber was quick and professional, and the office staff was very nice. I will definitely be contacting JFK in the future for any plumbing/hvac needs!

Gary was the service technician It’s a sign to come to our house and look at our system. Very very professional, he was apologetic for coming early ( which we were very appreciative) and it was great great communication. We had an excellent experience with JFK. The water heater install was great, but I want to focus on the customer service. It is, in my opinion, unmatched. The technicians are very knowledgeable. They also had to stand up to my warranty company, who in contrast is very difficult to work with. JFK advocated for me the entire time. If you need work done on your AC, furnace, etc, CALL THESE GUYS!!! They saved our bacon for the summer. Our AC decided to die on us and we found out our furnace was also on its last leg. Luckily, the weather cooperated since we had to go without AC for a week or so with scheduling and getting all the parts needed for a whole new heating/cooling system. They offer flexible payment options on their site, which is great if youre like us and werent planning on any large project purchases. The technicians were super nice, answered all our questions, cleaned up, and were great with my large dogs needing breaks, (the area were they were working is right by our back door & I kept them in another part of the house so they werent underfoot). And again, thank you, thank you, thank you!!

All of the folks at JFK are great. Truly the mom and pop type service. Gray was extremely professional and more than willing to answer all of my questions. Hes one of those guys that you only want him to work on your stuff. If everyone at JFK is like Gary, they will make you a customer for life.

My home warranty company contracted them to fix a hot water tank. Well needless to say they have been here 2 times and have not fixed anything. My home warranty company is just as bad as they are. We will never use this company again. They nickel and dime the home warranty company to maximize their pockets. Been without hot water since Monday. They came Thursday and again today on Friday for not even an hour without the part to even fix the hot water tank. Why did they even come oh that is right to charge for labor for nothing. Warning pay attention to who you have to come to your house. So now we must pay out of pocket for a real professional plumbing company to come to our house and fix our hot water tank. Oh and apparently I have been blacklisted by this company because I cursed at them she (Ember)cusses back as well. Do your job you get paid for and send a technician that knows what they are doing that doesnt have to call someone else to troubleshoot the problem.

This review is long overdue...During a heat wave in summer of 2019, our A/C failed. I had experience with numerous HVAC contractors over the years patching our system, none of which stood out as stellar. I did my research and choose JFK Heating and Cooling when my system failed. I promptly had a gentleman out to assess the situation, and he gave me a full explanation of what had failed and what my options were. He did NOT immediately try to sell me on anything! Shortly after, I received a call from Jason Kirby, the owner. Jason took the time to fully explain what his recommendations were. Ironically, when I was thinking I should upgrade and actually pay more, Jason was genuine and told me that there were easier and less expensive ways to accomplish what I wanted. I asked a lot of other questions, and Jason answered everything for me thoroughly. He also told me what he uses at his own home. Jason assured me that his suggestions for how to improve the temperature disparities in my home would be exactly what I was trying to achieve. And it would be almost $1k less! Well, Jason was right, and I have perfect heating and cooling in my home, upstairs and downstairs. And the installers, both Bob and Nick were GREAT! They called me in the morning to update me about arrival. During installation, they explained everything to me, and happily did an extra adjustment to the installation that I requested. During the day, they kept me informed of the project and their timeline for completion. The final project was perfect, and I could not have been happier. When I get exceptional service, I make sure to acknowledge it. I am truly sorry for not providing my review sooner. Thanks JFK!

Having your A/C go out in the middle of the summer is not a great thing. Having a home warranty is helpful, but the timing can be tricky. Being honest, the last month has been brutal at times without air conditioning, but the fine people at JFK Heating and Cooling worked with the home warranty company and got us on the schedule as soon as possible.Jim and Nick were talented, quick, professional, and friendly technicians who ensured that the work was done correctly and in a time efficient manner.From phone conversations with office staff, to conversations with the technicians, it was a great experience from top to bottom. Would recommend them to anyone.

I called for service through my homeowners warranty company and was fortunate to be connected to JFK. Rick called to say that he was running early which was great news since I had been without heat since the night before. He found two problems, one he easily fixed, and one that requires an installation. I had Bob & Nick come out to our home. They were on time which I appreciated and they were very thorough. A previous company had made some mistakes on my newly installed unit just a year ago and they were able to repair the unit within a couple hours, took photos of the repairs and emailed them to me for my records. I felt like they were very knowledgeable and affordable.

We got a new air conditioner put in. The guys were polite and professional. They were on time for the work. They explained what they were doing throughout the process. They were all around just nice guys and professional and they got the job done on time which we greatly appreciated.

There isnt nothing bad I can say about JFK. They are the best. They had to order a part and told us that they would be here on a certain day and they were here. We were have issues with our Nest thermostat. Gary came out and fixed it for us. He was super nice and very thorough with figuring out what the problem was! You could tell he really knew what he was doing! He even stayed after the heat cut back on to make sure it continued to work. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone! Great service!

This is a very good company work with. They were responsive, prompt, on-time, and reasonably priced. Rick was the HVAC expert that did my HVAC inspection and testing and he was thorough, took the time to explain what he was doing, and even offered advice for how to perform basic checks myself in the future. Bob is the man!!! He came over to my home and was able to salvage a botched HVAC installation initiated by a previous installer. He was very punctual and could very well articulate to me what was wrong with my HVAC and he got it up and running in record time. This guy is very knowledgeable and if I was in the HVAC business I would try to steal him for my own company. Bob is the kind of employee that most people are looking for but seldom receive. Absolutely phenomenal service. After a run around with the insurance company and other contractors I was desperate for help to get my furnace replaced. I was pointed in the direction of jfk by a family member and I wish Id have taken there advice a lot earlier. JFK was literally at my door the very next day and ready to roll. I felt so bad for the workers because my furnace is in a crawl space and difficult to get to but they kept reassuring me that its no big deal thats what there here for. They also kept me and my wife informed on every step of the process. These guys were amazing technicians. In and out in no time... not to mention they absolutely blew everyone out of the water on pricing. After the work they did for me I send my parents to them for help. I had a full furnace install. JFK was on-time, clean, meticulous, and best price overall. Highly recommend. I had JFK out again on 5/1/20 to replace a sump pump. Don was very professional, and thorough. It is such a relief to find a company you can rely on and trust.

I had Gary come out to determine why my 2004 Carrier AC unit was not cooling properly. In 30 mins he determined and fixed the problem: replaced a bad contactor and added some missing Freon. Appears to be working fine now. Another contractor I had look at it said the whole AC system needed replaced and wouldnt fix it, but Gary managed to squeeze more life out of my unit. Thanks!

This was a home warranty claim for our A/C unit. Received a call from JFK the same day as the claim was made. Wed never heard of this HVAC company before and weve had some bad experiences with some fly-by-night home warranty contractors before. However, scheduling was easy, the person who called was polite and professional (might have been the owner), and the tech who responded was very experienced in the field. Fixed our problem within a short time. Our experience with JFK was outstanding and we will use them in the future for both warranty and non-warranty issues.

JFK was the 3rd hvac company to come out and look at my issue. I already knew it needed to be replaced but Andrew my tech showed up at the exact time he told me he would. He was very knowledgeable and honest with me about the need to replace the unit.That very same night Jason the owner called me to talk and review everything and talk about proceeding with the replacement.They quoted me a very reasonable price and I gave them the green light to get started. Within 3 business days from me telling them to start they had the new equipment on site and installed.I cant say enough good things about this company and I went through 2 others before them just to get to JFK HEATING and COOLING.

Horrible, pathetic. First encounter with them was in winter, they fixed it and it worked for 4months. However, when summer came we had the same problem and the AC wouldnt cool the house. They came again and fixed it and it worked for 2days. Couldnt reach them for four days. Came back for the third time and didnt do anything when we called them they said they wouldnt be coming back because they cant handle criticism.

Had called them thrice: (a) preventive maintenance, (b) replacement of inducer motor, and (c) service call on Saturday as the heater did not come on as expected. Good experience each time.

Gary came and fixed our furnace immediately after weeks of being jerked around by our previous technicians. He was professional and friendly and saved my house from being frozen.

Called them around noon on Friday for emergency service because my furnance went out when it was 36 degrees and snowing. He said they wouldnt be able to come until Monday morning because he already sent his guys home for the day. I asked him if he seriously expected me to go 3 days without heat during the wintertime and he said yes. Apparently he doesnt care enough about human safety and dignity to make a service call on a Friday afternoon or recall his workers for an emergency service call? I told him I had a 6 yr old and 2 yr old in the house, he still wouldnt help me. Unbelievable, almost criminal level of negligence. Ill never be trusting him again with the safety of my family. I called Lifestyle Comfort Solutions instead, they were at my house in under 2 hours and fixed the problem, even gave me a discounted price.
