JD helped get me into my altima. I felt no pressure, I did not feel rushed, and this was the first time I didnt have anxiety or get irritable buying a car. It was quick and everything was explained well and was transparent. They didnt show me things I couldnt get into. We went based on my monthly payment, down payment, income, and what I was approved for. It came down to vehicles I could get into and I chose from there. They transported the car from houston and I was driving off a week later. If it was on site I wouldve probably left that same day with it. Very satisfied and will probably buy from them again.

The summer care buying experience is always a Challenge but they made it sp easy. We traded in a vehicle and purchased a new cat the paperwork was done in a quick and professional manner and though they were pretty busy, They still took the time to offer water and point us in the directions of snacks. At first the experience was great!! I found a car in Corpus Christi set everything up to leave after work to go pick up my new to me car… got delayed in traffic tried to call the store or even someone respond to the text number that they issue you and nothing so I get there right at 7 they close at 7 and was told I couldn’t test drive the car, I still took delivery and drove back to Houston with a few lights coming on and off and noises in the drivetrain called the next day everyone said take it to the nearest car max and that’s what I did to only be told they need an approval from corpus I said well trade me out they then said the car had to go back to corpus for that then get re approved for the new car.. in the middle of all This everyone tells me they will call em back did I get a call back? Heck no a bunch of broken promises.. if I broke the whole situation down I would need more space. That buy back is is not legit it’s just another hassle like Every other car dealership…

I purchased my Volvo from CarMax Corpus Christi last summer, but found after a few months during the pandemic I really had no use for it. I was told about the CarMax car purchase service, they will buy your used car. I filled out the estimate online and very quickly got a great quote - it was more than id originally paid for the car! I took the estimate in, and only an hour later i walked out with a check. No haggling, no one pressuring me to buy another car, no ridiculous car-lot delays. The staff were so nice, very friendly and organized, and the whole process was so much easier than I could have imagined. Ill definitely return to purchase my next car there - great customer service!

My experience at CarMax was really, really great! I HATE buying a car.. my husband dreads that I even walk into a dealership because the salesman attack like hungry sharks at a feeding tank.. and HATE the going back and forth and waiting and waiting and waiting..but this was amazing! I already knew what my down payment was... what payments were.. what my interest would be that I would need to pay... I literally walked in and 30 minutes later had keys in my hand to. new car..no pressure.. no sharks..no haggling! I loved it!! 😍

I needed a vehicle after a car accident and wanted a newer version of my car. Deni helped me find one and brought it to Corpus Christi at no charge. Loved the car and bought it. The car needed a few minor things fixed and made an appointment to take care of these. The service people working with me, Roger and Ray, are great. Every day one of them will call and give me an update. Big dealerships should do this. Overall my experience has been a 10!

They were super helpful when I was selling my car. I had a title loan on my car (Loan Star Title Loan in Alice) & they messed up the paperwork twice! They went above & beyond what they had to do. They called the DMV & the lien holder. Got my car sold! I will definitely be back to buy a car.Everyone has been so helpful. Deni & James were so nice & went above & beyond. My boyfriend and I bought a car here in April 2020 and they told us there were NO recalls on the car. We looked at the report and everything, NO RECALLS DISCLOSED AT ALL! A couple of months after having the car, the engine COMPLETELY FAILED in the middle of us driving!!!!! We were in the middle of nowhere! We’re lucky we made it home safe. Turns out there was a recall for our exact car from August 2019 and they DID NOT disclose it! They lied and said there were NO RECALLS, they signed the paper and everything!!! We trusted them and they completely screwed us over. Now, we don’t have a working car and we’re stuck with thousands of dollars worth of debt! Thanks for nothing. Never buying from CarMax again. I’ll be sure to let my friends know CarMax puts your safety at risk just to make money.

Only had one day to do it in told the dealer my situation ,Deni and the dealer his training got me into a car so quickly ,he understood that due to job I work all different hours and all days,they were amazing,I cannot imagine how I could have gotten a car at any other dealership with so much help,,I cannot say how much i recommended Deni ,,I am so thankful for his help ,,if you need a car go to CarMax you will be well taken care of !!!

If you just want a vehicle and don’t care about color or options or any other particulars then just go to local car lot. CarMax is like ordering a car new- you can find exactly what you want and have it shipped to you. You pay for that but to me getting the exact car you want is worth it. You will enjoy the car long after that shipping cost has been forgotten.

Bought my new Cadillac here and the guys here were super nice. They did everything they said they would and I had a very pleasant experience.

My boyfriend sold his car to Carmax, and we were very happy with what he was offered. We decided to try to see what my car was worth, as it was newer and had great specs. Their offer was lower than what we had hoped for, but reasonable. We decided to look elsewhere. The only reason I deducted a star was because the entire time I was getting an appraisal on MY car, and looking to purchase a new one, the salesman kept addressing questions/concerns to my boyfriend. We both were a little taken aback as I am very capable of speaking for myself. Overall though, the staff is very nice and helpful. We just had that one issue.

We did most of the searching online and spoke to reps on the phone. Initially that was great. However I never received information o when or where to pick up the vehicle. Finally a week later we found out where it was and was able to go and just do everything in the store. The in store experience was great and they did a good job. It would have been a little nicer if we could have done 6 days sooner as we were without a reliable vehicle. But the staff did an excellent job. I would recommend them to anyone. However do it in person and not over the phone. That part of the communication was little off.

My experience was nice, easy, and smooth.... only thing was my actual pre-approval was different from what my actual walk in approval was, had to give a little more down payment and plus my monthly payment was higher than what we originally talked about. BUT great service and friendly all around... especially real patient!

My daughter and I bought a Audi from CarMax price was good and car was in great shape . He ac ac started blowing hot air on driver side and CarMax has sent car off to get fixed like the promised at sale if had any problems and they gave her a free loaner said car will be back in couple of days . We are very pleased with CarMax . The purchase was easy fast and salesman was very nice and professional . We recommend CarMax to anyone . Also she has no credit and mine isnt all that good so for that the 9 % interest rate and 218$ payments was good for us for her to have a better car to take away to collage . We did put 12000 down so financing would be easier . Thank you car max for getting her in newer car with no Hassel and for standing by your word . Also recommend the extended warranty at time of sale . She will be coved when in college if anything happens her car will be fixed and at hardly any cost to us 100 deductable but 50$ if take it to car max

Tried to sell them a car with official court documents from a divorce clearly stating that it was my car. My name was on the title as well.The car year, make, model, and vin were all in the document. It was a huge waste of my time. I sent the cover page of the decree and the page stating it was my car then a manager asked me to send the entire decree which was nine pages I had to attach individually containing personal information that has nothing to do with buying a car.

Went to get my vehicle appraised and even though we did not come to an agreement and I did not sell it to them I would still recommend stopping on by and checking them out. I understand when selling/trading to a dealership it’s rare to get what you could in a private sale. I feel their offer was fair I just ended up taking another route.Over all this is how it was when I was there:- Good experience was kindly greeted when I walked in not swarmed like some places.- People where very polite, professional, and friendly making small talk instead of just trying to close a deal.- Did not feel pressured at all, they gave me a written offer after the appraisal that was good for 7 days.- Lot and inside the building are very clean and organized.If I had to complain about one thing it would just be that they could use more inventory on the lot. I do know you can browse their site and get almost any car shipped to that location but would have been cool to have more to look at in person while I was there. I know they sell primarily used vehicles so I am sure over time their inventory will grow as people come in and trade/sell.

I bought my car back in Houston and it had some issues that they said they would fix down here in Corpus once the carmax opened. Easy process, brought it in and they fixed all that needed to be fixed and they gave me a rental during the time being. I was extremely pleased with everything, everyone was friendly and I received a phone all each day with updates on my car. Overall great service!

The only problem I had I did not test drive my vehicle when I bought it per my salesman everything was good in vehicle, well as soon as I drive out of carmax parking lot I felt braking was a little rough I waited a few days thinking it’s because it’s been parked n not driven for a while , well it happened to be the rotars on Front end we’re bad and the brakes but no worries ray at the service department took care of everything new rotars and brakes front and back I love my new car 2016 Buick Encore wouldn’t trade it for anything else good gas saver thanks Ray at Carmax service department well done
