Showed up 10 minutes early and was met in parking lot. Immediately started brake inspection on my truck. After inspection I was taken out to the shop and showed exactly what I needed. Work was completed in a timely manner. Very professional, honest and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Pete was very knowledgable about brakes. He took the time to explain everything about brakes and how they worked so I could understand what was going on with my brakes. He also took the time to explain what needed to be replaced and why it need to be done. I really appreciated that because it made sense. Adan was also a very nice and friendly person and made the customers feel comfortable while we were waiting for our cars to be serviced. I dont know the names of the other people who were servicing the cars, but they did a great job too.

Made an appointment to hav my wife Camry brakes inspected and front end alignment checked and aligned if needed. Took the car in and thee hour later went to check on it and found they had not check the brakes but the alignment was fine. Took the Camry to the other brake check in Corpus Christi and they said I need an front end alignment that I then paid for. I wasted three hour and got no service and a false report. I would not recommend this brake check.

I had a wonderful experience there today, everyone was so friendly and professional, they did a great job with my car and you CANNOT beat the prices. Will absolutely go back for more work if it’s ever needed.

For the last couple years it seems like the company is taking a turn for the worst when it comes to properly staffed, knowledge on problems with breaks and high turnover in management and employees. Im definitely not happy spending money for something that may or may not needed and the initially problem that I came in for is still there. Ill probably be looking for another brake mechanic in the near future.

I took my truck in because parking brake was sticking so I presume. tech advise me it was rear brakes, so we changed them out.Second vist 3 weeks later truck was not drivenBrakes still sticking. tech inform me it was front brake caliper went out? Replaced.Tech phone he found the problem brake booster leaking I explained to him thats why I took it In the first place he stated we didnt talk about that. What happen to the complete inspection before the start of the process.Now its the master cylinder. Will never use them again.

I drive around CC and the surrounding areas for my job. It was a Monday and our schedules were definitely not matching for an appointment that day. We set something up for Tuesday. Took it in at 9am and had it back in time to pick my kids up and keep a doctors appointment. Very professional and quick.

Changed oil quickly & efficiently, but forgot to reset oil usage gauge.

The service was excellent. The manager Pete explained as he showed me in detail the process of how the brake worked. He explained my options and the best way to go in replacing parts that were worn out or about to be worm out. kept me informed through the process. The brake tech David did an outstanding job. Im one happy and satisfied customer. I will definitely recommend brake check on spid and weber.

If I could give a 0 at this particular location, I would. I had made an appt. for Monday morning at 8 am. I arrived at 7:45 and there were several people waiting with appointments at also but there were no employees there. No one had been contacted that no one was going to be there. I cannot say about any other location except the one on SPID.

Came in for alignment they informed me on a ton of other issues during the free inspection. Manager gave me an estimate on what needs to be paid for and done before I can do the alignment also a much appreciated discount on oil change. Very helpful, professional and knowledgeable.

I went to get my rear brakes and rotors replaced. Not only did service take too long but they broke my wheel locks and didn’t even have the decency to tell me. Only found out about the broken and over torqued wheel locks when I took the vehicle for service at the dealership. Don’t use this place.

I will make hundreds of email accounts just to make hundreds of reviews on this business. I will never stop. This business is called BREAK check so I hear a noise when I step on my breaks, ohh look at that sign that says break check I’ll pull in there! I’ve been getting my oil changed there for 5 years. So I assumed by reading the sign they could fix my breaks. All over the walls multiple times there are posters that say we do breaks, oil, alignment RIGHT! So I walk in on and say hey my breaks are making a noise.... and apparently they don’t know what to do except quote me an outrageous price for new brake pads and rotars which was an incomplete job because I needed new sensors and calibers as well. Also it was an incomplete job because I have missing lugnuts that were replaced with nuts without covers.

Their negligence couldve killed my fiance and I. Went in and spent almost a grand fixing my roters and my brake pads and they failed to bolt my right caliper back on and while I was driving it fell off onto my rim. The manager wasnt very professional and tried to tell me that I could speak to corporate (so I did) Ive been in a rental car an entire month because they were waiting on a better price on a new rim (they are paying for the rental, the tow truck, and all repairs) and when I went to pick up my car and the guy practically threw the key in ny hand and didnt want to give me a receipt of what was done on my car and they had left my car completely unlocked with a window open. I hope nothing of value was in my car because if there was its definitely stolen. Will be recommending to stay away from brake check.

We called for an appointment for an alignment and arrived on time. They took the car in 45 minutes to 1 hour later than it was supposed to be taking in. Obviously they are not consistent and cant manage time. They forget to put the parts where they are supposed to go. I always have the necessity to go back and tell them but it never changes and spend 2 more hours there.

I called the day before to set a appointment cause I knew they had to order the part that I needed. My appointment was for today at three They didn’t get my truck into the bay till bout 3:20 and at 4:30 it was still in the bay nobody working on it I asked how much longer they said that had to order the parts and were waiting on them. They should have ordered the parts yesterday knowing I was bringing my truck in today . It is no 5:35 and they just got through putting parts on and I’m still waiting for alignment. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE!!! THE SERVICE IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Less than a week after spending nearly $500 for brake work, my brakes failed while in traffic. When I returned to the shop they refused to test anything and insisted my master cylinder had failed. When I demanded some type of tests be ran to determine the actual cause (bc I was already under the impression the root of the failure was something they had done wrong during the first repair) the technician began shouting at me that he was certified and I didn’t know what I was talking about. I asked to talk to a manager and he said “I am the manager!” So I asked to speak to his boss and he laughed and went into the back. I requested from the cashier to have the shop manager contact me, it’s been a week and still no one has contacted me. There were other customers in the shop at this time who told me less than a month earlier they were came in to have four pads replaced. They were told that they only needed rear pads replaced. They were in there that day to have the front pads replaced and the severely damaged front rotors also replaced. Seems like another chain shop willing to damage the customers vehicle in order to help there bottom line. The worst case of customer service I have ever experienced. Highly do not recommend. Find any other brake shop before going there.

Dont ever go to this place, I went in for a diagnostic and they stripped my lug bolt out, then gave it back to me. I went to remove my tire and couldnt, so I took it back. With help from their corporate employee George I was able to get it fixed at no charge. However I go in today to pick my car up and the front skirt on my bumper is coming off now, which had no damage at all before. Im done with these people. I appreciate people like George, but you cant depend on a company when the workmanship and utter lack of care for others property is so horrible.

Very bad experience the car was there for one whole day nothing was done to it one at a wheel alignment I was told that something else was wrong with it that the wheel alignment was done since they couldnt find the problem for something else they said free of charge the wheel alignment is worse will never go back to brake check again

If you didnt know breaks are expensive! Lol but these guys are friendly and helpful. Walked me threw what I needed and why. Even explained it to my husband when I called to let him know what was going on. I really appreciate it because I hate getting work done on my car. Mostly because I dont know anything about cars.
