This review is about this Columbus airport location. The heavy set dude was not very polite. He tried to get me to pay for additional driver for 2 weeks rental(!), which should be free for Blue Chip members. Does he get a commission or something?I had to call Thrifty corporate line. The phone agent (who was very helpful) had to take a lot of time to get this guy to accept the discount. The guy went to talk to the manager then tersely relented. What a waste of time!

This location is very rude and will do anything to get money out of their customers. When picking the car up,, they were extremely rude.. nonetheless I rented a vehicle here that had very minor damage on the windshield. I noticed after having the vehicle so it was past time to inform them. Upon returning the vehicle I let them know the damage was there as a courtesy and it was so minor that they would not have noticed otherwise.I told them it was not from me. Regardless they still sent me a bill for over 300 dollars saying I was responsible and referred it to purco fleet services to try and collect the debt and now purco is harassing me in reference to it. I highly discourage you to rent from them. Give another business your money.

Do not rent from this location. As a perso. Who does not own a car, I rent vehicles so that I can travel on some weekends. I do not own auto insurance because it would make no sense with not having a car. I always use the extra insurance from the agency. This location said that they are independently owned and dont rent to people without insurance. It does not state this one their website. It does not state this on my email confirmation. Do not use this location.

Recently rented a car from Thrifty car rental. Declined all upsells, Insurance, advanced toll pay, etc. get home and there is a $300 charge for insurance after I specifically declined it. I have insurance, didn’t need any additional coverage. Now they are telling me contract included insurance. Point is they get you with the fine print that no one takes the time to read because they just are in a hurry and want to get in a car and go. I Will NEVER rent from this company again!!! Be careful what you sign in a rush!!!!

Our personal vehicle broke down on the side of the highway so we called ahead to this place to see if we could rent a car so that we could get to our vacation destination. The guys said they had a vehicle for us and asked how we were paying so we told him debit. so the tow truck driver takes us to this car rental place 1/2 an hour away from where we broke down. When we got there they told us we couldnt rent their vehicle without a credit card even though the guy over the phone said we could use our debit card. Since we dont own any credit cards they told us sorry there is nothing they can do. Now we are getting towed three hours back home so we can get a different vehicle and restart our 13 hour drive to our vacation destination.

I stood at the counter with my friend when the person at the counter offered extended coverage- which we both said no thanks. she then asked if we wanted a toll pass, again after discussing where we were headed, it was determined there were no tolls- so again we declined! We were told they were going to put a hold on the credit card for any potential issues, which there were none! They did end up charging for insurance which was rejected- when my friend signed on the pad, it was for the credit card hold- NOT INSURANCE!!! They ended billing $301.15 and refuse to remove it! No one is willing to help! The worse customer service ever!!! DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE

We rented a car at this Columbus Airport location April 1st for the Easter weekend. We returned it on time Monday morning. No one was there to check the car in and we have been charged $65 a day for 2 weeks now because the car was never processed returned. We have called many many times but cant get to a person that can actually do anything about it. So frustrating. Thrifty, if you see this, please contact me.

One of the worst rental experiences ever,rented a car, lady working (Augusta airport) was wonderful,storm hits next day, flooding roads hurricanes blowing trucks over on the highway,I keep the car immobile rather than risk damage,take the vehicle back to the nearest location Columbia airport,lady is nice enough to give me the regional manager jenners Thomas business card,said she s only one able to adjust the cost of rental due to the extenuating circumstances. Jennifer says no discount s even death will not warranty a discount.Dont know why this person works here.and they have crazy fees.Please rent from Hertz not this guys.look at the rest of the reviews

Worst experience ever. I made a reservation through my airline to pick up a car at 730pm, the time my plane landed. I make my way to the desk and was told by a representative from another car rental that thrifty closes at 730 but that they may still be someone at the desk where the cars are picked up. I make my way up there and that desk was closed too but an employee was there and I asked about getting the car I reserved. The employee yelled at me and rudely told me that they close at 730pm. Then why make my reservation for 730 if it wasn’t going to be honored. Needless to say I was livid and extremely upset. I ended up renting a car from Hertz instead. More expensive, maybe but they were nice, open and had plenty of cars available.I will never ever rent from this company again. In fact this company shouldn’t be in business or they need to hire better employees who are appreciative of having a job when so many others are currently unemployed.I wish I had read the other reviews before going through this experience. Lesson learned. Do yourself a favor and spend your time and money elsewhere, you will have a much better experience.

I would not advise ANYONE to rent a car from this company. There are certain credit cards that are not accepted and it is not written on the contract. Once you realize that they dont accept your major credit card, you WILL NOT receive a complete refund. Seems like they are in the business of charging unsuspected consumers 18.00 for nothing.

Scheduled reservation here 2 hours in advance online. When I arrived the individual who took 5 minutes to even wait on me told me that they were out of cars - that I was just out of luck. he then proceeded to ask me if I had a credit card or a debit card. He asked this question mobile times and it was unclear as to why you were even asking me this if you were out of cars. To be honest, I felt like had I whipped out a lot of cash, this individual would have been more than happy to assist me. I would highly question the ethics of this company and certainly the individual who attempted to assist me. save the few extra bucks a day that you might with this company and go to somebody else different. whether thrifty likes it or not, I walked down to Hertz, Hertz assisted me immediately and I was out the door in under 10 minutes.

This place is a savage place.i left my necklace inside the car and called the next day to see if they got my necklace and I was told the car was getting a oil change and never heard back from them yet.so I no the worker didn’t report it to lost and found like a honest company worker would do.and this place doesn’t have a direct phone line.well should one just payed there rent for the year with a stolen necklace.good luck with the type of workers you have working here.getting reviews like this bout ur company is not a good sign that you are going be around long

I paid to pick up a vehicle yesterday. When I arrived thrifty was closed, although the sign said they were open. I arrived at 7am and was told I would have to upgrade to vehicle for an extra 20 dollars. The lady was very rude and would not tell me why my vehicle wasn’t ready last night, or why she wouldn’t accept my card. She then stated she would not take my debit card (the one I already paid the initial fee with). Now, I’m not able to take my vehicle to the shop, and out 30 dollars

Very unprofessional and unprepared. Booked my vehicle directly through them 3 days in advance but the vehicle wasn’t ready. They made me stand outside in the cold for 45 mins waiting my vehicle. When asked about the vehicle they dismissed me and said they will let me know when it would be ready. Pay the extra $$ with the other companies then try and save a couple dollars with this one.

Rented a car here for my trip in Ohio. Tire psi notification came on as soon as left the parking garage. Had to go back to get it checked. Service guy filled it with air and told me it was fine and had no holes or nails. I drove to my destination 18 miles away and the next morning the tire psi was at a 4. I had to change it to the donut and take it in to have it switched out. My dad noticed a huge nail in it when switching it to the donut. The service guy did not appear to have done a thorough safety check of my car. Took it back and they wanted to charge me for gas which after complaining decided not to charge me. The car they gave me in exchange smelled of smoke.

Outrageous...I have never been so livid in my life. I made a reservation online, followed up with 2 phone calls to make sure the agency would still be open at 11pm when my plane landed and there was still no car, no one working...nothing. When I called to ask, the lady assured me they were open until 2am and when I assured her the lights were out and it was empty...she told me to come back tomorrow! I just landed at the airport and needed the car to get to my destination...how was I going to come back tomorrow? I may be mad about this for the rest of my life.

Horrible service, I would give them a 0 star if it was possible. let me tell you the story. My mom and I were visiting Kenyon college to visit in September as we arrived in John Glenn and we rented a car a few weeks prior through thrifty as it was cheap and we only needed the car one day. when we arrived there were people waiting in line for 45 minutes without a car as when they arrived some were finding out they could not get a car if they rented the day off. This was already extremely unprofessional as they did not plan for the abundance of cars the weekend of labor day. We thought about our car and were happy to remember we paid for the car weeks before and were guaranteed a car when we go there or so we thought. When we finally got to the front of the line the man at the counter was extremely rude when telling us that he could not take my moms credit card because it had my dads name on it who HAS THE SAME last name as us on it. He said its in the fine print and refused to apologize for being very rude to us. We will never use thrifty again. so unprofessional and rude to customers waiting outside for over an hour for cars that are not available when they were reserved prior.

Like many others I wish I could give a 0 or less- one of the worst experiences I have had in my travels! The check in process was slow, disorganized and quite unprofessional and sadly the was the most positive thing. Car was ok but discovered within a couple of hours, the right rear tire had a leak and after lots of phone calls it was made very clear that it was my responsibility to fix it. I was unable to drive the rental car and had to borrow a car so I could visit my friends and family. On the day I was to leave, I had to call roadside assistance because car was not drivable. They told me I would be charged and I said I would dispute it but had to get back to airport. The tow truck driver took tire off and after a brief inspection identified a previous plug repair that had a significant leak. After hours trying to get resolution during and after my trip, I was denied any amount of refund. As many others have said, I encourage you to avoid this company- they seem to make ripping customers off standard practice.

Rented a car. Had a strong smell of marijuana. We cleaned it ourselves. No exchange available. We needed a Suburban type car. Driving to hockey tournament with multiple kids. After 3 hour drive kids had headaches. Just a trash type of business.

Have booked with them before. My flight got delayed one day and they only hold your rental for 6 hours from the time you book with them. Had to argue with someone who barely spoke English about this. They wanted me to modify my booking which would cost 200 plus additional. Very shady business dealing in the future will probably go elsewhere.

These guys were awesome. I’ve paid for a compact car but got a GMC, pretty new, great condition, Apple car capabilities, seat warmers, I absolutely loved it. There was no wait time for pick up or drop off. There was an up charge for the car seat that I was unaware of, but nonetheless, great service. Thanks guys for great service.

I went to Orlando and I rented a Camry 2018. I picked up the car at LOT B and one of agent asked me to buy insurance to cover up 1 million dollars in case of accident. It cost me from July 7 to July 11 was $70.28. I was told that my auto insurance will not cover for all. When I returned the car, another agent inspected the car and he pointed to me there was a small dot on a windshield on the drive side, then he charged for the dot which was there before. The size of the dot is about the size of a toothpick tip. I was ripped off by the Thrifty. My final bill was $366.00. I booked for the car because I saw its Ad said the rental fee cost about $26-$30 per day. Please everyone must stay alert, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE THRIFTY. MY RENTAL RECORD was 834398670.On June 11, 2019, I received another final invoice in email indicated as $225.28 . I verified with my bank and I was told the Thrifty withdrew only $225.28, not $366.00..I recommend everyone who plan to rent a car for any purposes and if you have your valid personal vehicle insurance policy, you DONT need to buy insurance from the car rental agent try to sell it to you that you DO NOT need.I had seen many ads for thrifty indicated economic cars rental starts from $26 - $36 per day is not real!!!

I will never and ever rented a car from thrift in my life.So bad customer service.Our tire get flat on the highway and we call the customer service and they told us that they will send someone to pick up and there in no one to pickup ans we wait for 2 hours on road.And after that we drive and went to near firestone shop and repair tire ans drive back to ohio.When i call them later they said that they are not responsible for to pick up from road we have to contact the road side, if we have to contact road side assistance then what is the use of renting car from thrifty.Overall they said that they are not responsible if we are stuck on road it seems like we have to stay on road and they wont care.Not good to rented car from them...I will suggest other rented company its expensive too....

SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!!! I scheduled a car for my husband when he went to Ohio. My husband’s flight left Columbus at 6 am. He was instructed to park the car on the parking lot for car rentals at 4 am. That’s what he did. One month afternoon he is receiving calls asking him where the phone is. He has told them many times he parked it on the parking lot he was instructed to and they insist they don’t have the car. They have given my husband threatening and nasty calls implying he is still driving the car. My husband has told them Plenty of times to call the cops and they refuse. This too fishy. The lost their car on their parking lot and they refuse to call the cops ??

I placed a reservation for a car. Upon arriving for pickup at the reserved time, I was told there would be a 2 hour wait instead of being able to pick up the car at my requested time. I’ve cancelled my booking and was told I would get a full refund, thankfully, but I won’t bother with this company again.

I normally use Dollar but now Dollar and Thrifty have merged. We used them when we went to Columbus, Ohio for 4 nights. Picked car up at airport and had nice full size car at a great price. They did ask if we wanted the extra coverage which we declined. We had good service both at counter and when we returned the car. I will continue to use Dollar/Thrifty.

Overall a good experience. Got a free upgrade from a small SUV to a minivan. Rental was gassed, ready & easily found. Employee helped with adding an extra driver, with a small fee. She applied my AAA discount. No issues with rental or return & no excessive sales pitch on insurance. Good value & experience. Only downside I can think of is that the 2017 Minivan already had around 100,000 miles, though I had no issues or breakdowns. Thrifty Columbus Airport location is a good option if renting a car in Columbus.

I have rented from Thrifty and most of the major car rental places. I have found the best service with Thrifty. There prices are normally the best and I have never had a hassle with the car or billing. One particular time I arrived to pick up my car and as I drove away I spelled a very strong cleaning solution in the car. The smell was so strong it was giving me a headache. I took the car back that same evening and they quickly gave a different car with no hassle or questions. Definitely recommend.

I called to extend my rental 1 day expecting to be charged the extra day rate on my rental agreement that the agent at the counter said would apply. They said when I called that extending my agreement would completely reprice the rental and quoted an amount almost 3 times the original rental. That is ridiculous and deceptive. Needless to say I didnt extend and plan to avoid renting again from Thrifty and its partners in the future. What a racket.

Columbus Ohio - Deceptive practices. Age discrimination. Terrible Customer service both at counter and on phone. After an hour and a half on the phone was promised a call back by a Supervisor. Of course I have not heard from any one. Left a message with manager of that site. Still no return call. Next stop, Better Business Bureau. Ridiculous that you have to fight for customer service and fair business practices! My advice: choose a different rental car service regardless of the quote you get.

I rented a vehicle on May 2nd. Drove about 9 miles to my parents home. I come home one per month to visit them and my dad has been having medical problems. On May 3, I noticed damage to vehicle and contacted Thrifty. Returned vehicle, completed incident report and was issued another vehicle. June comes, I rent another vehicle as usual but mid June, I get letter in mail from collection agency to pay 772.00 for damages. I have talked to 2 different managers, submitted documentation, transferred to several department, disputed and denied that I owed and I cannot get this resolved. I didnt damage the vehicle. It was already there. I drove less than 25/30 miles and did not hit anything. Nothing at all..... Why am I being accused?

Beware of shifty agents charging you for insurance literally without ever knowing it happened.I realized what had happened and called thrifty to attempt to work it out after I got to my destination. Of course, I could never talk to a human.So, after literally losing sleep over it, I drove back to the airport the next day to talk to them at the counter. They still charged me for one day which I think is ludicrous. But, Im glad I went down to fix it as they would not have refunded me anything if I had waited until I departed.Thrifty = ShiftyNot worth it for the savings, go with a reputable company like Hertz, Enterprise or National.

Garbage car rental place. 6 people in line took 45 minutes. All the employees are complaining about management. Open dissent about how terribly it is ran usually is an indication the place is ran poorly.After waiting in line for 45 minutes, they inform me it will take another 45 minutes for them to get a car ready.Edit: they reached out after this review and gave me a 200 dollar voucher. Very deceptive business practices! We were given an estimated charge of $68.xx with a daily rental rate of $21.xx. Due to Hurrican Dorian our flights were changed. We arrived earlier than anticipated and picked up the car. No problem we were told, and we were given a PRINTED estimate of charges at the time of pick up that reflected the extra 2 hours. But when returning the car suddenly total charges SKYROCKETED and were $168.xx, a difference of $105 due to the daily rate suddenly TRIPLING to over $60 a day! No explanation was given, just a receipt. As soon as I noticed the charge (before airport security!) I called and the agent said they would fix in 24-48 hours. NOT FIXED! Instead Im told it was because we returned 30 mins later than anticipated (thanks traffic!) That they can change the rate like that. WHY WOULD WE NOT JUST BE CHARGED AN EXTRA HOUR AT THE GIVEN HOUTLY RATE?!?!Wow, what total BS! Will NEVER rent here again.

I have been charged multiple times for a car I returned ON TIME. They are inept at the Columbus airport locale. Im getting messages claiming that I will be reported as having stolen the car. This is a nightmare and in no way worth what they have and continue to charge me. Now, I can not get a hold of anyone that can help me on the phone. Over an hour of being told that this person cannot help me and being transferred to automated systems that hang up on me. I am beyond furious.

This last go around, they refused to rent to me, because they apparently changed their rules. Which is fine, inconvenient, but still fine. Now at this point I havent rented a car, but I have already paid for the car rental. I contact customer service. And they give me a bullshit excuse as to why they are refusing to give me a refund. Cheap rental car; what else is there to say? The pickup/return process was a bit confusing; checkout at the counter, go upstairs and just get into your car. Then pull up to the exit, and someone should come help you. Unfortunately, when we got upstairs, we didnt realize we were supposed to just go get the car, and there was no one there. We ended up waiting for about 5 minutes before we saw an attendant to figure out what to do. Besides that, no complaints overall.

Bunch of thieves. They start with online advertisements like $9/day through third parties. However, your online payment through 3rd parties isnt respected, neither is the insurance. They add crazy hidden costs when you go to check-out the car. I just paid $450 for a 5 day rental when the online cost was ~$200.Enterprise/Hertz are at least genuine, provide much better service, and above all still cheaper when it comes to what you pay finally.

We waited in line for 40 minutes to pick up our rental, the guy at the counter was not friendly or helpful at all. Once getting the van it wasnt cleaned from the previous driver. For as much as they nickel and dime you it was disgusting. Now Im dealing with an $80 toll charge from Illinois which we never even drove through!!! We traveled from Ohio to South Carolina. I would stay away from this company, it has been nothing but problems from the start!

The trouble started when I picked up the car. The first car they tried to give me was in pretty rough shape, most notably a hub cap falling off. They were willing to switch me to a different car, although it drove like it needed a good deal of work.Then, as I have seen other people online mention, although I filled the car up immediately before returning it, I was sent a bill for fuel for nearly $15. I called the customer service line and although they were willing to reverse the charge, they were not able to do so for 5-7 days. When I asked how this could happen, as I had seen other people with the same problem, the representative I spoke with said she did not know because she just worked at the call center. Do yourself a favor and spend the few extra dollars to go to Enterprise or a more reputable agency.

We left a pair of Beats headphones in the glove box of our rental car and noticed by the time we got through security. We immediately filed a lost item report per Thrifty instructions and have been trying to get in touch with the location ever since. We have been lied to by customer service 3+ times and given the wrong number. We have been hung up on, and phone numbers that we are given ring for minutes with no answer or option to leave a message. It is quite obvious that the employees of this location like to steal forgotten items and are THIEVES. I cant wait to file the police report.

Like always thrifty at Columbus airport is the best. I love the staff( Marvin and Jim ) are amazing as well as the others. My experience here have been nothing short of fantastic. Thanks thrift yall for havi an amazing staff.

If I could give it 0 stars I would, this location is awful- long wait times, inaccurate information online vs at the rental counter and cannot cancel reservations at the desk and their “cancellations” department had phones off all day so now they won’t refund our money. You can’t speak to an actual person- you have spend a week emailing back and forth with someone who speaks broken English and doesn’t know their policies. Save yourself the hassle and rent elsewhere. It’s worth the extra money to go somewhere else.

I too wish I could rate this place a Zero. A 1 star will do.I had a reservation all set for an economy car. Upon arriving at Thrifty, I was told a credit check was conducted and needed to have a hold put on a credit card. I told the rep I didnt have a credit card, but planned to pay with debit. I was more than able to afford this rental. I was told that only credit cards are accepted. I even offered to pay in cash, but no. Really?!?!. I cant think of a more secure form of payment than cash. I left that place completely disgusted with the lack of support and sudden red flags.I have chosen to go with Enterprise and they seem to be able to work with Debit Cards. My Thrifty reservation did not indicate that a credit check would be conducted (not a big deal though), but that ONLY credit cards are accepted as a form of payment to put a hold on. Nowhere did it say this information.So Ive had to push back my reservation with Enterprise and hope I can still make my trip to Chicago this weekend. I had this reservation set for a month out and could have taken care of this damn situation ahead of time.I will never do business with you again and will never recommend. Credit Cards are dangerous, which is why I dont have one. I looked on Google Maps and your Stelzer Road location has 6 bad reviews, some pertaining to a hidden overage fees issue. I should never have done business with Thrifty.

Never will I rent from this company again. I made a reservation thru Travelocity exactly 46 days ago. I did it for a Thrifty location near me in order to be able to pick up and return near my house. I noticed a week ago that the agency seemed closing (out of business) therefore, I decided to call before I showed up and encounter complications. To make a long story short.... Thrifty could not accommodate my reservation to any other pick up location and asked for me to check at the airport agency the morning of my pick up time to check for availability. Needless to say, I book with someone else and will from now on start advising not use Thrifty.

Chanelle the counter agent was not helpful. We prepaid the rental and had presented a debit card for security deposit. Showed 2 valid address and the flight itinerary. she did not let us rent the car because our flight out of the US was july and we only wanted to borrow the car for a week (1st week of May). She said the return would have to coincide with the return flight out of the US. She might have followed the spiel to the letter but she did not understand the essence of the policy. Poor customer service with agent having very little understanding of why the policy was put in place.

They gave me a VW bug. When you opened the car doors they sounded like they were going to fall off. The brakes needed replacing.I filled up with gas before returning the car.They said it wasnt full and charged me a fortune. I told them the pump clicked off ..Like it does when its full. The gauge indicated it was full.There was no way to prove it was full because the car was not equipped with features showing how many miles you have left based on fuel in tank like my Accord does. Trying to make a few extra bucks off your customers has a big price tag. Guess they dont know the customer rule of thumb : every dissatisfied customer tells an average of 15 people....Who in turn tell more people...and it keeps on going.One bad experience can translate into thousands of $ of lost revenue

Drove car 4 days in city, one month later was charged almost 200 dollar for toll fees ,which I did not do,yeah the company reversed the charges found out it wasnt me and no apology, nothing. WONT RENT FROM THEM AGAIN .

Very unfriendly and unwilling to help. Rental was paid in advance. I was asked to present a credit card and the employee would not accept it because she said it wouldnt work. She would not even try to use it even after i diacussed it with their customer service over the phone. The incident resulted in my husband and i being stranded at the airport and having to pay for alternate transportation home.

This company is a joke! I rented a car from their location in Columbus Ohio, and they over charged me $150. My wife called for a refund, and was told they were holding it for 7 to 10 days. Four people, and an hour and a half later they gave us our money back. Not worth the stress save yourself some headache and use someone else.

I and my 82 year old mother rented a car on May 14th and returned it full of gas and checked in on May 19th. Today (Memorial Day) I received a automated call that if I do not return the car it will be reported stolen....I tried to get help through reservations, the Columbus Airport location I rented from or any other number listed with no assistance. The corporate offices are closed on Memorial Day but they can send me an automated call the car will be reported stolen if not returned? The only thing I can do is send an email and try again tomorrow. Very poor customer service, employees not performing their duties and sending me an automated phone call on Memorial Day that the car will be reported as stolen but taking off and closing the corporate offices with no one to handle customer service is inexcusable!

Horrible experience. Was not told that there would be a hold of $350 on my card for a $191.69 weekly rental! Then pick up the suv and it was not clean, and had a huge poop stain on the trunk. When I asked the attendant if the vehicle had been cleaned he stated it had. When I pointed out the poop stain then he changed up and said that he could take it through the car wash. This was after I had to spend an hour and a half put additional money back into my account to cover the $350 hold on my debit card that I was not told over the phone with customer service days before I picked the rental up! Horrible customer service experience, I will never rent from Thrifty again!

Apparently the policies in my Booking Voucher sent from THIRFTY USA are incorrect. The official document that you sent me, that says in order to use a debit card I will need 2 forms of legal documentation. I bring my Drivers License and my Utility Bill (as listed) and now magically there are some other set of rules? In the real world we are expected to hold up what our Policy Book says.But the guy at the counter says unless I just got off a plane I need a credit card. Im in my home city, no problem, Ill ask someone to help me. But no, the reservation is canceled in 1 hour, and it is Friday at 8am, no on is coming by 9am. So he tells me I can call this number to get my refund for the first half that I already paid for the car. So I call the number, theyre in another country, also with really terrible customer service, and Surprise - They refuse to give me a refund.Never Prepay with Thirfty - Use ANYONE else if possible.

I had a great experience. I got there when it was really busy my car was reserved but there were not enough economy cars returned yet. So she called and rushed one through cleaning and asked them to bring it down to me. I went across the street to Starbucks when I came back my car was ready.

I have used Thrifty a lot but this trip had some issues. 1. You should understand that Thrifty charges $9.99 a gallon for tanks that are not full on return. This is usury. 2. They were also understaffed when I returned the car causing a major backup in the whole rental lot. 3. The staff member was friendly but said I have to go to the Thrifty desk to talk to the staff about paying for the gas. The staff at the desk said I did not need to go there.

Absolutely the worst interaction with customer service rep at ANY venue EVER. Waited over 20 minutes, in an empty lobby, for a person to show up to process my return. When she finally did emerge from a secret door behind counter...it was clear she had been napping. Then proceeds to charge me for an additional day. I have filed complaint with BBB and disputig charges on my card. I will NEVER do business wit this chain.
