You dont allow enough room for me to be as specific as possible to explain the entire situation to you in this little box. But if you look up rental agreement number 383-779-911 you will see four five six calls that were placed by me to the customer support and what the issue was. One thing you wont see in this most likely is the fact that the first person I was talking to the lady that I first reached out to in customer support hung up on me. Completely inappropriate unprofessional and I dont appreciate it. At this point even though your customer service supervisors did try to make it right in the end I would still not go to budget. This was probably one of the worst experiences with a company I have ever had.

They do not accept debit cards which would have been nice to know prior to reserving. They also do not clean their vehicles when returning, that is on you, which would have also been nice to know prior to returning. The people working there are clueless, including the manager. I wont be back and Ive rented a bunch of cars over the years. It was that bad. I will pay a higher price for better service and convenience. Dollar Rental Car is great to work with. Id recommend them.

The customer service at this location is something you do not see anymore these days. They were polite and took the time to speak to me and hear me out. They were very informative and willing to help. I will only use this budget location in the future. I strongly recommend using this budget location if you are in need of a rental. They will hook you up!

The vehicle that was given to me initially had multiple issues. Including smelling like marijuana, it was given to me on less than a quarter tank of gas, it also had a front left blinker light out which caused the blinker to quick click, the oil change light was on, and the service engine light was on for the auto restart.This is not typical of my budget experience and I was very disappointed that the initial rental facility had little to say about it. However I did get in contact with the customer service department and they made it available for me to swap out the vehicle when I reached my destination. The Budget car rental facility in Atlanta was more than accommodating ensuring that everything was checked off for the vehicle because of my experience that Id had.

Gave us a dirty vehicle, completely gross. We went to return it and they made us clean it or else we would be charged $450. We were also promised a full size SUV and they offered a mid-size SUV, only after complaining were we offered a van. Honestly would not have left a review if they didnt make my mother-in-law go out and deep clean the rental for them.

I prepaid the entire rental get there and dont have a credit card but have a debit that can be ran as credit but they wouldnt take it. Totally unfriendly told me to just cancel and gave me the number to do so. I was basically stranded and suppose to leave for vacation. I called my mom and she came back and changed rental into her name so I could keep my reservation. But was charged extra to do so. I paid for gas as additional charge and then had to pay 61 more dollars when I dropped off and the man said it was for gas. Ive rented from alamo many times and never had an issue. Ill pay for enterprise cost before ever going through budget again. The staff was the most unfriendly unhelpful people I have ever met. Dont waste your time. Zero stars!!!!!!

Worst customer service I have ever received!!! The first vehicle they placed me in had 5 dash lights on,one being check engine light so when I let the guy know Im not driving this vehicle out of town he proceeded to tell me the check engine light on is the oil light and its nothing to be worried about seriously? Im not stupid I know what lights are on the dash so after 5 min he gets me another vehicle but this vehicle not only was dirty but the gas was not full and I got charged for itYou will never get my business again and I strongly encourage everyone going to them to be careful

The car was dirty, specifically the seats and there were numerous scratches and dings all over the car. Urgency made it necessary to go ahead with the rental. The fuel was verified while I was outside of the car making note of the varies dings. As aI pulled out I realized is was short less than an eighth of a gallon. It was already past closing and I didnt think it would be an issue upon return if at the same level. Well it was. After reiterating to the young man that I was not paying one more cent for the dirty dinged up car and his mistake. He quibbled back and forth until another customer clearly was just as done as I was showed her frustration. A completely unnecessary exchange for an easily explained mistake. He made an error. It happens and customer service sometimes is more valuable than the win.

I have gotten many rentals for our family vacation, I normally go with Enterprise because of their prices and customer service. On the 3/8 I decided to go with budget ( because of a 20$, which I would regret)I needed to upgrade my vehicle and gave E long st Budget a call to be met by a very rude, snide and unprofessional individual I have had to encounter . He couldnt actively listen to my inquiries to answer them. And was quite rude, when I asked him to calm his demeanor he informed hes the manager and hung up. In this moment I am looking for another vehicle for my trip to return this one.Hopefully Budget will learn who, they employ and the positions they put individuals in reflect greatly on the company and mohammed is a perfect example for a bad example.

They will allow online reservations without telling you that upon arrival there will be a credit check. They accepted over $400 in payment. Then refused to rent the car to us due to a failed credit check. Then they said we have to call customer service for a refund & customer service said it can take up to 10 business days. This company has the worst customer service & staff that seem like they couldnt care less about the business or their customers. Honestly they dont deserve the one star i had to give to write this review.

This was a horrible experience! The first vehicle started over heating. The 2nd was not a SUV then said need maintenance on engine. Service was extremely horrible. Spent over 4 hrs on phone. Still waiting on a customer service manager to contact me. No one has been willing to assist me. Our whole trip was completely rearranged due to the inconvenience of vehicles. I have never had issues of this sort with rentals through any other rental company.

I was so upset I booked online and accidentally prepaid with my cc well I thought nothing of it until I got to the counter. The guy at the counter said if you prepay online you have to pay $250 deposit. They haven’t refunded me and they are making me wait 5-7 business days to get my money. My cc company said since it was done today it should be able to cancel today

Worst customer service experience from any car rental place. The agent at the desk, Marie, who claims to be the manager, was extremely rude right from the get go, I tried to defuse the situation to no avail, I had to leave and go with a different company.

I have reserved a car at this location twice. Each time the car was not on the lot at the time of the reservation. The first time was an hour delay and the second time was a three hour delayed and not the vehicle I reserved. I was told I could call the other locations to see if they had an available cars but they wouldn’t answer the phone for the Budget employees. The territory manager would not assist in moving of vehicles around to the different locations. They expected me, the customer, to make the calls to other Budget locations to have a car moved. Absolutely horrible, horrible customer service by all.

I never have any issues with Budget rentals. The cars are always clean and in good shape, and the rental process is always smooth and easy. Thank you! And the staff at the Long St. location in Columbus are the best - always friendly, dont push extras on you, make sure youre satisfied before leaving, and treat you like a friend.

Horrible experience Muhammed no customer service at all. I came in because my rental was shaking it felt like it was breaking down. He was rude and sarcastic the entire time. I got the rental from the airport he you should drive it back there. Why would I drive a rental that is breaking down on me back to the airport youre closer. Horrible

I decided to use this location based on user reviews and they were right! Although there are many rental locations closer to me I will only use this one and will be happy to recommend to all of my friends. The women who work there were so helpful and kind. I forgot my sunglasses in the car and called the next day, the lady looked in lost and found but could not locate them. Then to my surprise she said hold on a minute and I will find the car in the lot and look. Well she found them and I am very grateful she took the extra time to help me out.

Never before anywhere, so this is a first for me - I had booked the car for 8 AM Saturday, but no one ever showed up for the 45 Minutes I waited at the front door. The customer service guy is not at all surprised, also a big waste, not even trying to help. My planned trip was screwed as I wanted a 8 seater, which I could not get in any other rental locations. Thank god, I had not paid the before, so am saved on few phone calls. I do not recommend to book the cars from this location, especially on weekends...worst experience!

I just got off the phone with a lady and I was acquiring about different rental rates at different Budget locations and she tried to lecture me about credit cards with high interest rates and all these things I never even ask about. I guess she was assuming I was a scumbag with bad credit. She was impersonal, dry, and very rude. I hope that is not how Budget rental treats all their customers because Its very easy to pick up a phone and call Enterprise or Hertz and get great customer service. I kid you not. The agent working at budget told two people in front of me that “they’re not honoring reservations to people who made that were made within a week. We’re sold out. You’ll have to call our call center for a refund”. Told them it’s it was a rental deferment (whatever the hell that is) and they’ll understand what that means.” This was the same agent who screwed up my reservation and gave me a car without license plates and signed me up for rental insurance when I told him I didn’t want any add ons. This place is a FRAUD. BEWARE! my rental agreement went from 239 to 674 in random charges that the people working there couldn’t explain so now I’m having to deal with it on the phone with people who barely speak English.

FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD. BUYER BEWARE!Horrific Experience!!!Prepaid in full online. The total was incorrect. I had to go back and forth with customer service to have this corrected. At the counter I was told there would be a $95 hold, even though I paid in full online; but that it would be released upon the return of the vehicle.Once I arrived at my destination, I checked my balance and transaction history to make sure nothing else was charged. There was the $95 charge, but was under the name Conoco. I thought that was kind of weird, but dismissed it remembering being told of the hold.Came back, returned the vehicle with no issues and a full tank of gas. Thought we were done, but a few days later the hold still hadnt been released.I ended up disputing the charge because Budget was adamant that they released it even though my credit card company said they did not. So they temporarily accredited my account while addressing the issue with Budget. About a week later I get a text from my creditor asking if I had just tried to make a declined purchase.I called them immediately and found that my credit card (literally) had just been declined two states away. It had been maxed out with several transactions from Conoco Fuel . The same place that the Budget counter person said was a hold for a deposit.I havent confirmed yet, if this location is an Independent Operator, but I warn you, DO NOT COME HERE! They are not to be trusted with your money and personal information.

The gentleman Tom that works there at 104 e long st. was Great. Budget the company themselves is horrible. They pulled the money off my card twice and wasnt supposed to pull it at all. Now I wont have access to my money for 24 hours afterwards. Was denied for a soft credit check because I didnt have a major credit card. Which I dont understand because my credit is a little less than 600. My mother has a major credit card but didnt have the funds available at the time and she was denied for a soft credit check as well and owns her own house and credit is over 750. Complete nonsense. Everything about theyre process.

Overall ok, but customer should be aware of the extra charges if not returned exact on time or before. Large delays in traffic due roadwork construction made med 6 min late and was a shock to get one extra full day 125 dollar for being 6 min late. txs to helpful manager ( not staff) it was waived

After calling Budgrt and being told that the car would available for pickup later in the afternoon than planned, we showed up to no car, and more infuriatingly, an employee who was not only unapologetic and unhelpful, but who seemed amused at the situation.An amazingly poor experience, even by car rental standards.Will certainly never use this location again, and am reconsidering my use of Budget as a whole.

I had rented from this location at least monthly for the last year. I rented a car on 12/30/17 at 12:13pm and per my rental agreement was to return the car at 12:00pm 12/31/17. Due to a fatal accident I71 was closed and all other routes extremely congested. I made a phone call to the location at 11:54am to explain the traffic situation and that I was only a few blocks away. I was assured by the person on the phone that it was fine. At 12:06pm I arrived in the parking lot and made eye contact with the Budget employee as she rushed to her car and drove away. My car was parked in the lot and key dropped in buildings key drop at 12:08pm on 12/31/2017. After several phone calls I was able to get no where and long story short charged an additional $117.84. I guess that is what being loyal a customer gets you.

I have rented from here multiple times in that last 4 months. The location usually has very few cars to choose from. Jus one of each kind. Whoever comes first, will get it. If you want to rent a specific car,forget about it. chances are they have only one that is booked by someone else who arrived 2 mins before you or they just dont have it.The reception lady is punctual only while closing the location for the day. Kinda rude too. Customer service is really lacking here. I will probably not rent from here again. Id recommend avoiding this location altogether.

Horrible experience fraud location overall he kept saying my card was declining which was a lure because I went to another budget and got my car and he kept trying to force insurance on me which I denied and that’s when all of a sudden my card was denied and then he didn’t have cars at the location I wanted at all

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!! Equifax declined my rental AFTER I paid for it. And they still use f@#$%^& EQUIFAX!!! I paid $260.00 for one weeks rental. Only after biking to the location was I told that they needed ANOTHER $100 to rent me the car. I offered my card but they told me Lifelock was preventing them from completing the transaction, and cash is no good apparently. I paid for the car, then they changed the terms. It also takes and entire week to process a return.
