I ordered windows in early May and paid half at that time. The sales person estimated 12 weeks. I understand there can be delays in delivery, but I cant even get a human to answer a phone to tell me if this is the case. I have tried to get an update on status and no one ever answers the phone or returns my voice mails. I can leave several messages a day and no one responds. The last time someone answered the phone was in August and she said she had me on the list to update me. I have tried for two weeks to get anyone to help me. When we call Cecil the sales person for help he just refers us back to the office manager, Tara C. and takes no responsibility for delivering a product he sold us. Im beginning to think this business is a scam or they are pending bankruptcy and trying to hold us off until its finalized. There is no reason why we cannot reach anyone in said office for two weeks. Please invest your money in a more respectable and communicative company. Do not buy from this business. We are filing a complaint with BBB.

I had 6 windows installed in March of 2021. The job was never completed. One window lower pane fell out and the tenant was nearly injured. The window did not fit right and was not caulked on the inside. They also did not provide a screen for another window. I called at least 3 times for service on the window and they finally came out and fixed the window but did not caulk it last June-July. I have called and left messages at least 7-8 times and only once called back. They said they would come the next day to fix it but did not. They never answer the phone it always goes into messaging. The windows are satisfactory but the service is terrible. There lifetime warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on. If you buy from them don’t expect to get any warranty service in future years, they don’t honor their warranty

Like many others, we ordered our windows in the spring (March) from Cecil who was at the time a sales person at WP. From what I gather he is. I longer with the company.We were assured windows would be installed in June. We didn’t receive any kind of communication that there were delays, so by mid-July I reached out asking for an update. We were informed of the supply chain delays and told our delivery was scheduled to arrive on 8/09/2021. We completely understood the issues with the supply chain and appreciated the status update. Well, 8/9/2021 came and went with no installation and no communication. I again reached out and asked for an update on the status of our order, at which point I was told the order was again delayed to 9/18/2021. When that date also past with no installation or communication I again reached out via phone and email. On the day I called I was met with a message that the number I called had been disconnected. At this point I decided to visit the office in person to get direct communication. The hours listed online state the office is open from 9-4, however I found it to be closed at 2:00 on a Monday.I followed up my visit with yet another email, which has still not been addressed.To say we are disappointed is an understatement. We paid close to $4000 to WP on the day we signed the contract and I fully believe we were robbed. We are filing a complaint with the BBB and taking any legal actions necessary. If you’re considering WP please read the reviews… I certainly wish we had!

I would give zero stars but I dont think I could put this into a review without at least one star. I really dont know.Ordered windows 3/25/21, due date 6/25/21 no phone calls from window planet. Called many times before I got a girl who said shed have the mgr call. I had to call two more times before the mgr called back. Said covid was the issue. I called the manufacturing company they use recently & the windows were already made but cant be delivered to window planet. If you want to know why, call Vinyl Kraft windows in new Boston, OH. So now we have a bigger issue. I asked if I could have a refund from the first call when I spoke to the mgrs, she said no. Also, I have been calling ever since the second date she gave me which was 9/17/21. By the way Vinyl Kraft does not have my money, which was 50% of the total. I went to the window planet store & no one was there, the doors are locked & there is a piece of paper on the door blaming covid for why they arent there. I suggest you put 2 & 2 together before you think about using Window Planet.

We ordered 5 windows back at the beginning of January 2021. I have been calling since April and when they do answer, they lie and tell me the windows will be in the next month and they aren’t but most of the time they never answer or call back. I just filed a complaint with the BBB and am talking to an attorney now to see about getting my money back because they should be held responsible for selecting the manufacturer (if indeed the manufacturer is responsible for not getting the windows delivered in almost a year, but I think Window Planet never ordered them and Tar just kept the deposit).

Similar to a very recent review, I also ordered my windows in May. The sales rep, Cecil, assured installation within 10-12 weeks. I note this, because there is language in the contract that states something about not being responsible if that time frame is not met.The measurement happened quickly after the contract was signed. I started to call at the end of August to get an idea of an ETA. I understand given everything weve had going on there could be a potential delay. Someone returned my call in August to let me know they were not close to scheduling my install. I asked her to please give me something a little more concrete. She stated she would and would call me back.A week goes by and I receive no call. Ive now called multiple times this month (September) and left multiple messages not once receiving a call back.I have filed a complaint with the BBB and Im in the process of disputing the charge because I also fear the company may be in trouble and I could end up losing the money Ive put down on windows. I could not recommend spending any money here based on my experience.

Current customer, but very curious if this place is presently open! Ive left 4 messages over the last few weeks, sent an email/message through their site and left a voicemail to our sale rep Cecils cellphone in regards to a window order placed in June 2021. No one has returned my calls or messages - so Im left to wonder if they took my deposit and closed shop?? This is not the typical behavior of this company, as I have worked with them on multiple projects. However, I am very confused, disappointed and frustrated.

Only needed two basement windows. Salesman was nice and most of the receptionists were courteous. Ordered in July 2020 and was told that they’d be installed two months. Installers didn’t come out until December. No initiated communication on their end regarding delay. Installers said windows were measured wrong. Was told someone from office would follow up with us. There was no follow up. After multiple calls and dead ends, one receptionist finally tells us that they had the windows as installed. So asked for our money back. They did issue a refund but then we were chastised for “being abrasive” in asking for our money back. We were assertive; big difference. Overall nice people but they need to work on their business model.

Ordered my second set of windows the week of April 2021. Cecil estimated that my windows would take up to 12 weeks! I started calling in August and was told they were still doing orders from March…I was patient until September and then phone calls were not being answered! finally around the end of September I was told that I was scheduled for an October install. Now that the date is approaching,I called to get a time frame that the installer (s) would arrive, so I could make arrangements to be present doing the install. I have called numerous times …almost daily..3-4 times each! NO ANSWER! I pushed all the choices for connection ( 1thru 4 and 0 also)…I realized today that when I selected #4 , which should connect me to Cecil… it brought me back to the same initial greeting! Now I am worried. I go over to the address on E.Kemper Rd and the business is not operating from there! No one is on the phone nor are they in the warehouse! I am so disgusted that they had taken my deposit and have no intention of delivering my windows. Next step is to file a lawsuit to try and reclaim my money.

Very very bad service! Stay away from this company! Placed an order for windows last Sept (2020). quoted us 6-8 weeks for installation. Have called multiple times and left messages and voicemails. My boyfriends mom put in a deposit weeks ago. They have not contacted her, cant get anyone on the phone and we even went down to the store during said open business hours and no one is there. Gonna be getting a lawyer.

Horrible! We have been waiting forever for our door installation. They required we pay have up front. They will not call us back. We have left multiple messages. We just want a refund although they said no refunds in the beginning. We even stopped by the office and the doors were locked with no one there.

I don’t know where to begin... we had our whole house done last January. The installers took all the windows out, then smoked cigarettes outside, but all the smoke just came on in the house. All of the screws that they took out of our old windows, they threw into the mulch beds and yard. If this were the only problem I had I would be fine.These windows are just cheap junk! When cars go by outside it sounds like my window is open. My utility bill is over $100 more a month this year than it was with my old windows in all the years past. The windows don’t function properly. I had them out several times to replace windows that don’t work. I still have windows that don’t work and I am just done with it. I feel like I have been completely ripped off. I was told that there’s gas in between the window panes, but when I touch the window and it’s cold outside the window inside is cold as well.I held off as long as I could putting our review up at this place but I just can’t let people get ripped off like I did. These windows suck!

Lied to from sales to warranty work. Was told by sales 3 months to install, it was 5 months. 1 window did not work properly. Was told it was a stocked part to repair, that the repair person would be out in two days. After more than 1 month still no repair. Tara the office manager said the part would need to be ordered and that it wold take 1 to two weeks. Still waiting.

I’d definitely recommend Window Planet to anyone who needs new windows and patio doors! Very good prices, very friendly staff/installers! Even though this pandemic has affected us all negatively, I feel very valued and cared for in the hands of Window Planet!

Placed an order for 6 replacement windows last Sept/Oct (2020) with Cecil. Have called multiple times and left messages and voicemails (latest was 2 voicemails left today). No one has called me back, ever. The one and only time I got through to an actual person, she couldn’t find any information to give me any time frame of when my order would be ready for installation. This is extremely disappointing and upsetting. They had no problem taking my deposit for half the order. I’m tempted to contact my lawyer, then maybe actually get some response from this company who clearly lures people in with low quotes and friendly salespeople but don’t follow through on their business.

We are currently in the process of getting our windows redone. Let me just say they did not measure our windows correctly. Not all of the windows are the same type of windows. (we paid extra for a better quality). They did not finish the outside part of our windows thank God… because of that We were able to see The install was done incorrectly. We’ve had two other professionals come out and look at these windows who both have said they are measured incorrectly and are also installed wrong. Apparently there is only one manager available to come out to check the install. He was scheduled to come out to our house at 4 PM today. We got a call 10 minutes prior stating that he was not going to be able to make it but that the installer will be back on Friday to finish the job. At this point we don’t know what to do… We don’t want them to come back and finish the windows and cover up the fact that they were put in wrong and measured incorrectly. We are extremely upset to say the least. If this is resolved in a timely manner I will be updating my review but until then one star is all I’m giving!Update***The installers came back out and pushed the windows out more so that I could hang my blinds back up. The window quality is very nice! The installers were extremely nice and professional. The salesman however was EXTREMELY nice to us when selling us the windows but did a complete 180 when we had issues. We were in contact with him and the owner Tara throughout this process. He even went as far as texting my husband on accident that he was no longer going to communicate / answer his texts anymore (I’m assuming he meant to send that to the owner.) All In a response to my husband voicing his concerns. There was ZERO inside trim added so I’m not sure why their response to my original review stated that.The windows are in, our final sashes were replaced, and the job is done.

- Fake company ( WARNING !!!)- Lied to me ALSO from sales forward in 2021.- NEVER delivered a SINGLE (5 windows @ $3k total) window, but took half payment for them.STAFF: Unresponsively elementary, not willing to provide (verbally) their company hierarchy chart/information, thus very hard to get accomplishments done/moving/started/delivered/etc.

Normally not one to post about experiences, but this one was just horrible. Last year around july, needed a window replaced in our condo so we could sell it. Set up the appointment the gentleman came out was very nice and helpful. Order had to be placed for a the window, and we were told due to covid it could take a while. No problem, thats totally understandable we placed the deposit. Well we sold that property this past October and the window was still apparently on back order. We switched everything into the new owners name since it still wasnt installed. We got a call from our realtor about a month ago stating the window has yet to be installed and no one has contacted the new owner. So we call and speak to a manager who said she would look into it and we requested a call back after she looked into it. Thats now been 2 weeks. Very unprofessional , while I understand covid has had an impact on supply, theres no reason for it to take almost a year and we still have no call back. Of course though they gladly still have our deposit

The salesman Cecil was awesome. He was very personable and funny. We ordered our windows in July and they were just installed this week. We were told bc of covid it would take a little longer so he estimated 6-9 weeks which was fine. I know this was an “estimated” time frame but it actually took 21 weeks from when we ordered to the time they were installed. I was getting a little upset that it was taking soo long, I understand covid and would have been fine if it took like 12 weeks instead of 9 but 21 weeks! That’s a long time and a big difference when your expecting 9 weeks.Fast forwarded to after installation, the windows are and look great! The installers did a great job. I have a newborn at home and they were very good about doing the windows downstairs first then keeping doors closed so it didn’t get too cold in the house.The reason for 4 stars is bc of the time it took to actually get the windows and also bc it was 2 day job. This would not have mattered but when she scheduled the day for install she didn’t mention to me that it would take 2 days so I was expecting one. This wasn’t a huge deal bc I am on maturity leave so I was home. However, had I been working that would have totally through a wrench in things and not sure what I would have done!Overall I’m very pleased with how the windows turned out and I can already tell a difference!

From Day 1 To finish the people at window planet have been A1. Donnie is an excellent Sales guy. The instillation crew were here on time and very very clean. I thank you guys for the job you have done on my home. I love the windows and the doors. I also appreciate the extra effort given by the instillation crew by putting in the door hardware for me. I cant wait till next year when I have you guys replace the rest of my windows. Thank you and your company for adding needed value to my home.

Adequate. The installers arrived late, rushed through the job- killed a plant in landscaping ( stomped on it); tore a wall paper border; dinged 2 small holes in my dry wall; & didnt clean up around 2+ Windows. Also,not getting a receipt at the end of installation, being told the installer put my check in his truck door till the next day, and none of the staff called on day of appointments to confirm they were coming - poor/ unprofessional business practices. You can do better than this!

Window Planet came out on Friday of last week to replace 12 windows and a patio door for us. We are very pleased with the entire process. Our sales rep, Donnie, was very knowledgable and personable. He said the windows would be finished and installed in 4 weeks or less, and they were (which was fast to me, considering theyre custom made to fit your house). Our installation team consisted of Luis and Chris. You can tell Luis has been doing this a long time, as hes quick, efficient, and does quality work. They were on time, didnt rush the process, and finished everything to our satisfaction. The windows have changed the entire appearance of our home, and we really love them. Weve also noticed a huge difference when it comes to noise from outside; the house is so quiet now. We are happy we decided to work with Window Planet, and have already referred them to others.

Window Planet has been the best experience I ever had with contractors. I am retired/disabled construction tradesman which made it very difficult to find someone I could trust and understood my desire for good craftsmanship. Thru years of remodeling and many mistakes, I met Donnie Norman I explain my dismay with previous contractors and that I myself could be difficult because of past experience. He was very good at matching me with just the right people. New windows and doors in one day ,which was great for me. I told him I needed my whole house wrapped in plastic and didnt want to see any wood. That is exactly what I got. I went from worse looking house to best looking in my neighborhood . The skill and workmanship of his siders was excellent. I highly recommend Window Planet for any of your remodel needs. I am very happy.

Well, after months of searching i met Donnie from window planet, i finally got rid of that dummy door and got new windows, they are beautiful and i thank them the installers and of course the salesman, trying to see what else they can help me with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a terrible experience with one employee by the name of mr.johnson he admitted that his company condones in racism and in fact he is one himself he was very agressive and verbally abusive due to my skin color I have never experienced anything like it before . I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone who isnt black Carmel or even in his eyes brown .
