This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with. The worker they sent did not know which end of the hammer to grab hold of and they tell me Tim has been with the company for about 5 years. I had a small one floor ranch that was just a straight design with nothing complicated to do. I contracted for windows siding and gutters. It was a nightmare from start to finish. The first problem was getting the workers to show up. The first month we were lucky if they showed up once a week. The quality of the work was horrifying. Windows were install crooked and in many cases the siding was glued (not nailed) to the windows. I have tons more to add however they only let me have so many words here. The final insult is that we are still fighting them because they used our credit card and charged an extra 4400.00 on it after we paid in full and of course they act like they do not know what happened.As of this date it has been two weeks since we found the overcharge and they will not return phone calls. Dont walk away from this company RUN! Dont be fooled by a cheap price. Cecil was our salesman who will push hard for the contract and promise anything to get it done and after the sale does not want to be bothered and Bear is the install manager(dont be fooled you will be the install manager) who does not return phone calls. 2 1/2 months installing time and now trying to get our stolen money back. Too bad I had to give a star. Minus stars would be appropriate. I also call shenanigans on the artificial rating on this company on this web sight.

Paid deposit in February for replacement windows. Have been trying for a couple months to reach owner with absolutely no response. The number he leaves to call he will not pick up and mailbox is full and will not respond to text. Was hoping to have new windows by the summer now hoping for the winter but think instead may just be a lawsuit. So disappointing.

Lawyer will be in contact very soon if not corrected. Window City has done a couple houses windows for me in the past but lately it looks like something has happened. They came and measured windows and storm doors in September last year. Installed the windows on the correct date late October. We paid the balance for all the windows on the Install date and put $635 towards the storm doors. No one will return calls for months now we only ask for the storm doors to be installed so we can pay the remaining balance like we did with the windows, or refunded our money so we can hire an outfit that wants the work.

This company is professional and reasonably priced. Service was excellent making the transition from old windows to new windows a great experience. On time and always clean. I would definitely use them again.

Its been 5 months since we paid and like others, they wont answer the phone. They answered at first with excuses like, you ordered special windows and it takes longer to make. The Better Business Bureau has a red flag for this company which means they advise not using them. Im just waiting for either a class action lawsuit or bankruptcy claim. Meanwhile we luckily paid with a credit card and will be applying for a charge back.

Called Bear, Cecil and the Window City Office many times the past 8 month, note out of over 25 plus calls total only got a call back one time that was BS. Window City done work for me in the past on properties that Me and My Team flip. In the spring of 2018 Window City installed 10,000$ worth of windows on by personal property, one window and screen was delivered cracked or damaged. Did not have issues in the past, but for some reason Window City has gone way way way down hill this past year plus. With that said Im making one last call on Monday 2/18/2019 if no answer Im going to visit the Window City Office. If the issues are not corrected by 2/22/2019 on Friday, Im going to file a lawsuit. Just on a side note when Window City installed my windows in the spring, they got install over 6 month after the guaranteed install date. They only got installed in the spring of 2018, because I was getting ready to sue Window City. After that they got installed in one week.So I hope the owner will see this even replies and get back to me. Because Window City already lost 3 jobs from me alone plus all the other Companys and Friends I work with.Wish you luck and do the right thing Window City or just close up shop.Thank You

Ordered windows paid half Oct 1st. They measured and never heard from again. Will not answer or return calls. Do not use window city!!!!!!! Very unhappy and turning over to better business Bureau.

Josh and Luis were great! Showed up on time and called before coming. Never thought they could install 22 windows in a day but they did and cleaned up everything behind them. We are really glad Bear (salesman) went through the many options of windows that Window City covers so we would be happy with the products. We priced around a lot before buying and found with the lifetime guarantee, price of the window with full installation and the level of respect and professional attitude you get, you cant beat Window City. Would recommend to anyone looking for quality that wont empty out the bank.

Zero stars! Window City has install the metal work twice on our house and it still looks poor. Now, they refuse to return messages or call to reschedule a third install. I have been trying to get them to put us on the calendar for 5 weeks. It started out as We will get you on the schedule soon and now; nothing...not even a response. As you can see by the attached photo, the install is poor. Do not use Window City!!!--------Update 10/23/18After posting the original review above, Window City contacted me saying we were on the schedule for 10/23/18 (today). I was optimistic until today. I tried to confirm what time they would be here; no response. I called a few minutes ago, voicemail is full, so i cant leave a message.———-Update 11/25/18Window City has still not scheduled our repair. All I want for Christmas is my siding fixed. This is awful. Now they would even return calls or emails.———-Updated 12/2Still no reply. I feel I have been robbed!

Update: No one picks up at the number provided nor returns phone calls. Went by there office in Pisgah and they are no longer there. Crooks!I have been calling for months to get our replacement window and screen. They broke a window upon installation. Also, it took them over 6 months to install our windows. This was only after I told them I was contacting our lawyer for fraud. Owner, made sure he got his money though . They breached their contract by not installing it within the time frame. We drove by their Pisgah office and they are no longer there. Stay away from this business!Provided a number in which no one returns calls or picks up. I still have a broken window that they installed. Filing suit again this fraud of a company

I had Window City of Cincinnati install replacement windows and doors, 15 windows,1 large picture window,front and back entry doors and two storm doors. I have had zero issues with these products because the quality of the product and the installation was excellent. One service that they offer that most window companies do not offer is the covering of painted services with a maintenance free covering on the wood surfaces that are exposed around the outside of the windows and doors that they install. I highly recommend Window City of Cincinnati to anyone that needs old windows and doors replaced.Stephen Brunner.

We have used Window City on both of the houses we have owned and will continue to use them. Our first house was built in the 50s and after we had the windows put in we noticed an immediate change in comfort and energy prices. Easily the best windows for the price. I reccomend to anyone looking to have windows installed.

Window City was a great choice when it came time to replace all the old windows in our house with more energy-efficient ones. They were professional and courteous and the operations manager, Bear, was very knowledgeable, nice and professional. I would recommend them to anyone!

We called three times to this place. Not once did the person identify themselves or the company. The first time he said he was with a customer and would call back. He did not, but i doubted he would as he sounded very annoyed. Second time he didnt listen at all to what I was saying and tried to redirect me to call service to fix the window. No, i said i wanted a NEW window installed. It is an old house! My hisband called and got the same response. Then was told we would have to buy 4 Windows for the $189 price. When we told him we had windows done before with the company and it was only 2, the guy said he would talk with the manager and call back. Yeah, right. Dont call this place. Whoever works here cant be bothered with customers.

Best window company I could ever recommend. Moved into a house in Milford Ohio, a little fixer upper. All the windows needed replaced, sunroom, second floor, patio. I was completely taken care of and on time.

Many times I have had contractors come work on my homes. A lot of times a company will blow itself up with pretty websites and trucks and uniforms etc, only to be followed up with terrible service and sub par products. Not the case here. These guys came and replaced 10 windows in my parents home in Covington with the utmost skill and customer service. I highly recommend Window City for your remodeling needs. They definitely put an exclamation point in the category of professionalism from start to finish.

A rep came out, gave me a quote. I put a deposit down and was told 2 weeks ..its been 2 weeks and I have been calling for 3 days with no return call. They took my money and now I still cant get anyone to call me back or return my money. I wouldnt suggest this company to anyone! I will be filing a police report if I dont get someone to return my calls to return my money!

Like others posting recently, had utilized previously and been very happy. Check for 50% deposit cashed Dec 4th 2018. Calls after first of year got me to week of Feb 15th install estimate. Several calls since resulting in excuses: cant find order will call you back weather has put us behind schedule will have to check with warehouse and other excuses. Answering machine message changed aboutaa week ago to were making internal changes to our team and personnel to service you better with additional number to call if questions. Left messages 2x day on both lines. No return phone call. As of yesterday, main number automatically forwards to that number. Still no return phone call. Looks like legal action only slim shred of hope of getting any of my money back.

If I could give a negative star I would have. I contracted with Window City on June 15, 2018 and gave them a deposit of $3050.00 to screen in my patio and replace the leaking roof on it. The owner came out and took measurements 2 weeks later and has not been back since. I have been given every excuse in the book from family illness to waiting on materials and weather and permit delays. July passed and no word even though I called and left messages and texts. August came and I told them I needed a start date. Bear gave me August 17th. But they did not show up. I called their office in Sept and told them I wanted to come get my money back but Kevin said there was no one in the office to write a check and the owner was out of town. He promised to call me back but never did. Nick did call me and said he would have a crew out on Wed Sept. 26th and would give me 1000.00 off my total job but they never showed. I texted Bear and he said he would be out today but no one has shown up so I am turning it over to my attorney. I am done with this company. Hire them at your own risk. We never knew if they were going to show up or not so we kept the covers on the outdoor kitchen appliances and did not get to use them once this summer. Also the leaking roof has done more damage to the bead board ceiling and we are not sure about the lights, if they have been damaged due to non completion of work. That is why we hired them. To repair the roof and screen in the patio. Also I called Bear about a leaking window which is a separate issue but he did not send anyone out even though I had water pouring down my wall. He acted as if it was no big deal. The guys who built my deck fixed that leak for me.

Dont know how there is a 4.8 review first off left a mess at my house my wife ask them to leve the old Windows that didnt happen one of the Windows will not latch close some of the other ones wont stay open without a prop because thay were not shimed right. Thay sent a guy here his nickname was bare told my wife to just duct tape the Windows dont know if he was joking or not but he never came back to make repairs. Called a few times never got a call back. At this point i dont even want anyone from this company in my house i will do it myself.

TLDR: Good for the money, easy to work with.Full:I had Window City redo the entire exterior of my house, just finished today. This included 11 window replacements, 4 new window installs, removal of aluminum siding (circa 1967 yall) and replacement with solid vinyl. On top of this, they did fascia and soffet repairs and a few other small things like that.I opted for basically the bottom-rung window options and I am still quite pleased with them (good look, easy open, seem high-quality). There is already a noticeable improvement in the noise penetration from the nearby street; old windows were wood frame single-pane originals. We will see how the energy savings works out this winter.The siding looks great, good install. Appears to be durable. I had then Tyvec and foam wrap the whole house for improved insulation. They wrap all the old frames etc with trim coil and everything looks brand new.The teams that do the installation were very helpful, nice, and knowledgeable. Everything was done very well.My only complaint thus far is that it took awhile to get the custom windows fabricated (granted I added more windows after the initial placement) - it was about 5 months from initial down-payment to installation start.Will write another review once I figure out how things go this winter, and when dealing with their customer service (which does NOT have good reviews from some of these other posts).-Z

Window City replaced my windows in May of 2015. The installer installed a cracked window and told me he reported the cracked window. Window City NEVER came back out to replace the cracked window. I called Rose, very sweet person, but Rose always took my contact information down and never called me back. I gave up.Earlier this year, I posted a gig on Thumbtack looking for someone to fix my soffit. Window City responded to me very quickly and I explained to them how terrible their service was and I will never come back. The seller, Josh Swann seemed very apologetic and offered to fix the soffit for free and asked me to contact Alice to file the report of the cracked window. I went through all this trouble, again, for no one to call back or follow up on the cracked window. The window is still cracked.I recently bought another property and looking to replace all 18 windows and will DEFINITELY pass up Window City.

Bought a 20 year old home and had an energy audit by Duke Engery and we found out our windows were causing an energy deficit. We obtained 3 esitmates and decided to go with Window City even though they were not the least expensive. The communication and customer service was a type that we felt we needed to share. It was better than we expected. Its the customer service and communciation that went above our expectations. They did everything on the estimate and more than we expected. Window City talks the talk but they certainly dont walk the walk. Waiting on an overpayment for 6-8 months now. They had to replace the windows the first time - honestly was more their window supplier who messed up than it was them (bad color on exterior - the grids were laughably not straight, parts of the grids on the inside were YELLOW not white). the installers should have said THESE ARE HORRIBLE but they didnt and installed anyway. neither set of window installers cleaned behind themselves. they agreed to send a professional window cleaner but SURPRISE that never happened. we hired one locally, were told theyd reimburse us, but go figure- havent seen that check either.Have over a dozen message from the owner and Project Manager confirming theyd pay for cleaning and/or mail the overpayment (everything from OH IT WAS MAILED LET ME WAIT TO MAKE SURE IT DOESN’T CLEAR to a few months later WHAT, I TOLD THEM TO SEND THAT A MONTH AGO to OK ILL BRING YOU PAYMENT THIS WEEKEND MYSELF).Also... isnt it curious that all their positive reviews are accounts with just a single review - a positive one for Window City... Hhhmmmm Im not saying that they are creating fake accounts to give themselves good reviews but if you wanted to draw that conclusion....

I had windows installed in May that I ordered in late March. The installer broke a window in transit but installed it anyway. He put a piece of sheet metal over both sides as both pieces were damaged. I had a large window installed in my living room and he set the ladder on my gutters and pulled them down.The gutters were haphazardly repaired about a month ago, but not correctly. I have made about 7 phone calls and keep getting smoke blown up my butt. My window is still broken at the end of October and I am being told the manufacturer hasn’t sent a new one. It took 3 weeks for them to make all my custom windows. I may have to escalate this now.
