I am more than happy with how our installation went for our new windows. It was a 2-day install with a 1 man crew. A very respectful and knowledgeable guy. You could tell that he truly cared about his job. He kept me in the loop throughout the entire process and made sure I was satisfied with how it was going. He went above and beyond. I really do appreciate the attention to detail in the finishing touches for the windows as well. And the thorough clean up was much appreciated. My house looks absolutely amazing! I’m so happy we went with Universal Windows. The wait time was about 4 months for install, and it was well worth it. Can’t wait for a warm and cozy house this winter!

We live near Ronald Reagan Cross County highway and what we have noticed since our windows installation is how quiet inside our house is now. Over 20 plus years we got used to the noise from the highway, but we barely hear it now. We love our new windows. We should have done this years ago.

Universal installed 14 windows. The salesperson was knowledgeable and professional and the installers were excellent, some of the best workers I have experienced. The price was fair and the windows are great. I am happy to recommend Universal to anyone looking to replace windows.I had new gutters put on with gutter guards after the window replacement. Same excellent salesperson and another highly trained professional crew. Not one bit of debris left on either job. Highly recommend !!!!

Everything about my experience with Universal Windows was just fantastic. Amazing professional and knowledgeable sales and customer service teams; fair price; really great product; and quick and perfect installation. New windows were needed so badly in our 1963 home. Although we had to wait several weeks for installation (due to covid issues), we are SO happy with the installation and the already lower electric bill. Our installer was efficient, professional and kept his assistant on task.

Called to get a very rough estimate of installing a standard patio door. Woman who answered the phone wasnt very helpful. She said the company will ONLY come out to give a price. I told her that would be next if your doors fell in my budget range. She said again that they dont give rough prices over the phone. I feel this can be done w a standard door. Nonetheless they lost me as a customer.

Everyone from the salesman to the installers were very pleasant and a joy to work with. Got 15 windows replaced in one day. Im totally satisfied with the windows.

I had researched companies for window replacement in my home and chose 5 to receive estimates from. I called and scheduled a estimate with Universal. The day before I received a confirmation call to confirm my appointment. When this scheduler confirmed he stated that he would see me and my husband for the appointment. I clarified that it would just be me meeting with them, making a decision, scheduling replacement and paying for this service. They refused to meet with me unless my husband also was there. It is hard for me to believe that a company would establish a business on the premise that the homeowner is not intelligent enough and does not communicate well enough in order to make a decision for their home with a partner EVEN if the said partner hasnt met with them. That is not for them to really decide. They did not show up for the estimate, AS DISCUSSED WITH THE HUSBAND I would have turned them away at the door if they had. I did call and complained to the individual who answered the phone and also mentioned that I did not mention a husband, and she informed me that through public records they check out the homeowner and find out who the owner(s) are and that is how they know if there is a spouse.

I replaced 6 windows in our family room which included 2 picture windows and 4 trapezoid windows. They are beautiful and make the whole room pop. Thank you for a job well done.

Met with Rob Webb for free in home window consultation. Very informative and answered all of our many questions. Had three estimates and decided to go with Universal Windows Direct based on quality of window and warranty. Price was very competitive. Signed contract on Monday and just two days later already scheduled window measure. So far, very happy with the decision to go with this company. Will update this review after install but have a feeling it will be go very smoothly.

I guess in this review Ill start by saying I was not pressured whatsoever by the person that told me about universal windows. That was nice to begin with. The company treated me very fairly - above and beyond.They measured my old windows and a few weeks later they were built and installed. The crew that installed them were professional and very kind. They cleaned up every Speck of dirt and dust and washed all the windows before they left. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new windows.

Windows were installed. One of front windows has scratches on it. There were materials left behind after the crew left that were on my deck. It was a careless act. So far other than those issues. The windows appear to be working well.

I had a new roof and all new windows installed by UWD. I had a few issues one of which was a mistake made by the salesman who no longer works there and the owner was very quick to come out and address the concerns. I was impressed at the speed in which they came back to fix the issues and by the fact that they did not hesitate or try to downplay the problems I saw. The quality of the windows are incredible and to my knowledge all of their prices are on par with other companies selling similar products.

We had Universal Windows Direct of Southeaster Ohio (UWD) replace all of our windows, this summer. They did a great job. Our old windows were original to the house and we had seal issues and draft issues. UWD were able to get the job done in one day and did a nice job of installing and cleaning up afterwards. The windows are super easy to clean and look great. I cant wait to see what our energy savings will be this winter now that the drafts are gone. Great job UWD!

Made an appointment for them to come out and give me an estimate. Adjusted my client meetings to make it work for their schedule. They called me the afternoon of the appointment to cancel saying they wouldnt come out unless both homeowners were going to be available, a fact I communicated would be improbable during my initial phone call. Absolute waste of my time

We worked with Rob Bell at Universal Windows Direct to get some additional insulation in our attic. I would very highly recommend them, and Rob especially, as we had a great experience. Rob came out to provide us an estimate, and sat down with us to explain exactly what work needed to be done in an easy to understand way - he definitely earned our trust. No other estimate we had received came with this level of attention to detail.On installation day, Rob and his guys were on time, and did a great job prepping the house so that they didnt make a mess. They once again took time to share with us what work would be done, and upon completion they made sure it all met with our approval before they packed up. I am very happy with Universal Windows Direct and would recommended them to friends and family!

Always a great experience

We scheduled an appointment for a quote at the Cincinnati Home and Garden Show, the day prior to our appointment it was confirmed. The salesman came to the house and said without my wife at the house he would not measure or quote our replacement windows based on management policy. This was never told to us prior when scheduling at the show or when confirming the appointment. This is nothing more than a high pressure sales technique to sell. We have contacted other replacement window companies that do not require all parties at the time of “sale” Avoid!

Siding installed Feb 2016. Huge spring storms, water spots formed on my dinning room ceiling, 1st floor. I thought WTH??? Turns out installers did not caulk/seal any joints. Joints are exceptionally wide to boot. Cost me another $700 to have someone come out and seal it properly. Hung back patio light upside down and never re-connected flood lights. Shabby.

Terrible customer service after the fact. I had siding work done, looked great, a couple weeks later I noticed a piece missing. I have tried for weeks to get someone out to fix it. In the mean time I have had 2 sales calls wanting to upsell more repairs, yet nobody will return my calls to repair the missing siding. I do NOT recommend this company at all. CROOKS

Amazing Windows! They have amazing sales reps and noone beats their window.

Don’t expect a quote without your husband or wife present. Maybe it was a sales tactic, but it stings like an old school mindset if you are a lady. As a salesperson myself, I know that there is no need for that kind of practice if you have a good product and fair price.

Talked to multiple people the dont delay messages and always mosyly goes to voicemail. They never call back and to make matters worse they hang up on you when you ask them a simple question!!!

Had windows put in they did not finish the job had tore screen did not finish the caulking i have to call them they installed the windows in Sept still having issues i call they say were get to it they never did i have called several times i dont know what to do
