I was created promptly and warmly. I was told that my vehicle would be checked out immediately. I was directed to the waiting area which was nice. Once the issue was diagnosed I was given an estimate and a timeline for repairs. That was late yesterday afternoon. Its less than 24 hours and Im picking it up. Thank you McGrath Lexus for excellent service.

Pretty disappointed with McGrath during my most recent visit. Ive been there anymore times and usually it is a pretty good experience. For this most recent time, I specifically made an appointment for a strut repair on Monday on my Lexus es350 under warranty. When I got in, the rep told me it should be pretty quick- max 1.5 hours. After 1.5 hours no one had looked at my car so I went back home since I have work. I got a call 1.5 hours later informing me that the part isnt even in stock. Why give me an appointment for a strut replacement if the part isnt even in stock??Since it wasnt in stock they said the car wont be available till Tuesday by noon. The next day I get a call saying the replacement part broke so they need to order another one and my car will be ready by noon Wednesday. Why wouldnt you keep these parts in stock??? Then the next day I dont get a call from them in the morning, so I call and they tell me it will be done for sure by end of day (it finally was). Its pretty ridiculous that A. I got an appt without the part in stock and B. had to be without my car for 3 days for a repair that should take 1.5 hour max to fix. Very disappointed in this dealership during this last visit.

Best service! I been here twice in the last 4 months & Ive had nothing but great things to say. I was taken care of by Mark & Daniel both very professional, hard working and go above and beyond. Waiting area is always clean, comfortable, and the station always socked up with coffee. The attention to detail and customer services is astonishing. 5 stats doesnt do justice.

Nothing but great service there. Went twice while I was working in the area for 3 months, and was always taken great care of. My second appointment they told me they were running a bit behind and gave me the option to wait or take a complimentary loaner, I appreciated the option being given and I was able to finish my errands that day instead of sitting there! Crew is also friendly and helpful!

Mark in service was great. Dropped of my car and got a nice loaner to drive home. Came in for routine maintenance and once I parked we noticed a coolant leak. So also needed a new radiator. These guys arent cheap, but they let me know what was critical to fix and what could wait. They also offer financing through a third party for repairs. I have 111k miles on a 2006 RX400H. Looking forward to another 100k+!

I bought a used car gx with low miles in a rush. The sales experience was good. I got the car without detailing and was told to come back for detailing later. After driving the car for few days found out that the car vibrates at high speed. The suspension was making weird sounds. I talked to the sales person and she told me to come back to the dealership and they will fix the brakes and sounds. I dropped of the car at service they took a week and a half just to tell me that their technician thinks there is nothing wrong with the brakes. I left the dealership and got on highway right after leaving and still had the same problem car still vibrates while braking. Been going to other lexus dealership and never had this type of issue. First time went to mcgrath lexus and had this bad experience. Few days later got a email from manager frank asking how did they do. I mentioned my concern and never got a reply back. Idk if I should blame the whole dealership or some persons working there but it wasnt a satisfying experience. Now I am stuck with a expensive big car with issues they wont resolve. Nothing but bad experience and unsatisfactory car. Wish I took longer to go thru the car and checking if everything was ok. Would not recommend to anyone I know to go to this dealership. A low end brand would have a better service then theirs.

Rude and impatient technician. Though I have been at this service center several times with no issues, while attempting to clarify the latest issue with my car, the intake tech indicated that he was unable to work with me and called a manager who, conversely, was polite but seemed to have an issue with my use of a mask which I found inappropriate. The reception/intake and work area are combined - the smell of gas/vehicle emissions is strong. Long waits, depressing waiting room uncharacteristic of a Lexus Dealership. A unpleasant service experience.

Today was my first time taking my vehicle to service at McGrath. From setting the appointment over the phone to the moment I paid for my service, my customer experience was phenomenal.I was greeted promptly by a service advisor who asked if I’d be staying in the lounge or if she can arrange a ride to take my wife and I elsewhere during our wait.The lounge was comfortable, and seats were all a good distance from each other to ensure social distancing.Once my vehicle and my wife’s vehicle were near ready, our service advisor approached us to let us know what would be needed at the next service for our cars. The communication between the technicians and the advisors is crystal clear here, and I love that.Our advisor answered all of our questions, and was extremely helpful and patient.I am looking forward to being a life long customer here, and will be looking to purchase my next Lexus with McGrath in the near future as well.

I always knew Lexus stood by their brand, but this dealership and service center go above and beyond. They have fixed ANY issue that has come up and I NEVER see an invoice. They actually like it when I bring them a minor issue because its a challenge to figure it out. Mark in the service dept is a saint! I have not come across an issue that they havent been able to repair. GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. Its worth its weight in gold! My car drives like its brand new every time I get it back. Thank you and I am a loyal customer for life!

My recent visit to McGrath Lexus of Chicago Service Department was a perfect example of the Lexus brands commitment to outstanding customer service through relentless pursuit of perfection. From the moment I drove in, I was treated like an honored guest by my Service Advisor Edmanuel Lopez who patiently identified my needs and expectations. McGraths Service Department Manager, Mr. Frank Tranchida, promptly communicated technicians findings and kept me constantly updated throughout the service process. Big SHOUT OUT to Jerry Delgado, Lexus certified mechanic who serviced my car. When I returned to pick up my LS, it was waiting for me freshly washed and cleaned - nice surprise, thank you. In a world of mediocrity it is exquisitely refreshing to experience excellence. Thats exactly what you will get at McGrath Lexus, pure excellence.

I stopped by the dealer today since my Lexus has some rust on the door handles. I wash my car very often and there is no other rust on my SUV other than the door handles. So I stopped by and talked to Tony Boulos and Andy Pak. Andy didnt seem to take the time to help and Tony offered to have one of the mechanics take a look on what was the problem for a minimum charge of $285. And Tony also had another idea, the body shop that leases a space in their service could take a look at it as well. So I did talk to Hernan and he told me that the screws/bolts that hold the door handles are rusted. He also mentioned that he has seen this before on other RX350. He took down my information and sent me an estimate later on. As for the Lexus service department did not make me feel as they took the time or effort to help me out and if its one in a million scenarios then they could have asked someone else but did not do so. In the future I will consider this while looking for my next Lexus vehicle. As for the place, it looks very nice and clean, Nicer and bigger location than their near location. It is convenient since its the one closes to my house in Humboldt park.

Worst service by Lexus which is strange because Ive always received good service from other dealership service centers. Ive had alignment issues ever since I got the car which kept causing uneven wear to my tires. I told them this when I went in for an oil change. They diagnosed the issue as an alignment issue and literally told me that I need an alignment even though I already knew this. They charged me an extra $100 to tell me my tires are uneven and that I need an alignment done. Complete scam. Dont get your car diagnosed from here, go to a different workshop where they give you an actual diagnosis.

Swindlers! Every time I go here they have a list of repairs totaling $1000 and up. I got suspicious this last visit when it was over 2 grand - 4 issues; battery, cv boot, heat shield, and my power steering rack was “leaking”. Just had a trusted mechanic take a look... 3/4 were a non issue. The CV boot was gunky and does need to be replaced. Battery has corrosion but tests perfect in all tests.... power steering fluid is at the perfect level and that’s after 6 months of “leaking”.... and they told me the heat shield cant be clipped back on, whatever, but it’s not as dire as they made it seem. Overall, disgusted in the fact that I cannot trust the same people that I bought a whole friggin car from. Cya jerks.

Matt Fenton is the sales manager. Not a bone of professionalism in this man. They will promise you the moon and stars to get you in a vehicle and under deliver. I have been waiting three months for work they said would be done to the vehicle and still has not been done correctly. Who paints a vehicle the wrong color and lets it roll of the lot that way? On top of that they refused to fix it, until I threatened with legal action. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE CON-ARTISTS.

Good, flexible service dept and nice staff 👋🏽 their hourly labor rate definitely reflects the zip code though, prepare you wallet for a whopping 👊🏽 but the extended warranty (best in class by far) demands a certain quality of service so the trade off is worth it in the end 😅 and a great wash EVERY. After two terrible sit downs with toyota financing (which is odd cause they are the same I thought) Karyna walked up and it was smooth sailing from there! Very little negotiating was necessary I gave her my car choice and price point and not only did she match my expected price she got me a completely better trim and saved me on the soe down payment costs. Absolutely amazing experience. Nick explained all my features and tech and even gave me his number in case I have any more questions. I cannot stress how smooth my experience was.

Best in the business. I’ve been taking my LX 570 here for years. I (lovingly) joke with my wife that McGrath service treats me better than at home (Guys-know your audience if you try this line at home)!!! There’s NO bait and switch nor the classic dealership 11th hour “necessary repair.” I call Tony, he tells me what’s wrong, when they’ll be finished and they do the repair without screwing you. A very well managed shop. They make it so easy.The service is great and professional, but for me, it’s about price. The very few times my repairs weren’t under warranty, they gave me a great price. I have discovered that there are things that Dealer’s do now that are cheaper than small shop-tires, brakes, alignment, etc. Finally, I always get a loaner. I end up with a $60k Lexus to take home-that’s a no brainer for me!

Good bye, Lexus. Been a Lexus customer for quite sometime. Had great service experience in Houston, TX and Grenville, IL. After moving to Chicago, I leased a new NX. Good vehicle but I really hate coming to McGrath Chicago for a service. Not everyone is willing to help. Many of them are rude. This last visit, the car took more than an hour longer than the promised time they told me. A moody maintenance manager told me to just suck it up. It has been like this coming here for almost three years. Feel great that my lease ends at the end of this year. The next car I drive, as long as I live in Chicago, will never be another Lexus.

This service center is simply awful. I always get ready to get stressed with these assholes cause I know thats whats coming for me when I get ready to go. Why am I coming back? Its my fault and no more! I came back to get a regular 35K service that costs around 99 dollars and they hit me with an extra 500 dollars! Saying that my brand new 2 year old car needs new break pads and rotors need to be realigned costing us an extra 500 dollars! For a 2 year old car! Shouldnt the vehicle still be on warranty after being still so new? The worst part of this terrible place is how nasty these people act and how rude they are. They act and explain things in a decent way but as soon as you start to question them they get nasty and disrespectful and talk down to you. I think they rip people off and only want money. I think this is the final straw. I think were done with this death pit.

I almost dont freak out as much when I get a check engine light on! I have a 04 Lexus RX 330 that I got from them a while back. Ive only needed to bring it twice and both times were smooth as pudding. The service people are very friendly and they keep you informed in a timely matter. The chairs are comfy, pets are welcome, coffee bar, WiFi, and cookies. The ONLY thing I would change is I wish they had bagels and cream cheese because cookies in the morning are kinda ehh.

Be very WARY of these guys trying to tack on extra cost out of thin air!!!STORY: I went to get my brakes looked at as I was hearing some screeching sounds while applying them. After inspection, they recommended I replace the brakes/rotors as well as replace a tire. I had expected this, so I approved the replacement as well as the cost. I signed a receipt indicating I approved the brake/rotor + tire replacement, cost (including parts, labor, tax) was a little over $900. I signed the receipt indicating I accept the cost and parts replacement.About an hour later, the technician came out and said that they mistakenly didnt include the parts cost in the initial receipt I signed, and with the included parts cost the total would be around $1500 (!!). An extra $600 or so tacked on seemingly out of thin air!! Upon being escorted to my car, I asked if I could please see the receipt I signed and approved. On the receipt, it clearly included the labor AND parts cost, as well as tax. I told the technician that this is what I signed/approved, the parts cost CLEARLY printed (which is what they claimed was missing from the original price), and that I didnt understand why an extra $600 was being added. She said she needed to speak with her manager, and after about 5 minutes they came out and said that I would be paying the original $900 that I signed and approved before.All this being said, it appears to me that they tried to rip me off and see if they could get an extra $600 out of me for apparently no reason. And as soon as I pointed out that thats not what was signed and approved (while referencing the signed receipt), they immediately backed off and gave me the original price.I wanted to make this post so that future customers are CAUTIOUS when dealing with this Lexus service center. Please make sure they do not try and pull a fast one and rip you off.

If I could give no stars I would. The math doesnt add up, they do not cover anything they say when they sell you a car, but worse will waste your time making you come in to get an expensive quote to fix... even getting the car washed is a hassle. If you are gonna buy here go ahead but dont expect anything special with the service except bad math and lazy service. Oh yeah, no washer fluid with free oil change either....
