I went in for an oil change... they seemed to be in a bit of a rush. The mechanic brought the dipstick demonstrating the new oil level. It was right on point. They normally will bring out the cabin air filter which I knew was due to be changed but when I asked him- he abruptly cut me off and said its ok and walked away. I chalked it up as them trying close on time but I left disappointed.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A ZERO I WOULD!! I TOOK MY VEHICLE IN FOR A SIMPLE OIL CHANGE AND FILTER CHANGE. I GOT THE FILTER CHANGED BECAUSE I SAW THEM DO IT, BUT APPARENTLY THEY NEVER CHANGED MY OIL!! NOW MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN ANOTHER SHOP FOR ALMOST A MONTH AND THAT SHOP INFORMS ME THAT THERE WAS NEVER AN OIL CHANGE DONE!! SO EXPLAIN TO ME WHERE MY MONEY WENT CUZ I HAVE NO IDEA!! FELT LIKE I GOT ROBBED!!

Helpful staff. Like all places that offer oil changes, its still a little pricier than doing it yourself. However, their quickness and honesty makes Quick Oil a great experience.

I always got my oil change from here one day I went to get my oil change and they had someone new work on my car and broke a piece so the oil started going into my Engine and making my car not move or anything I went to fix it and they still made me pay 130 and The problem was resolved only got worst they have bad customer service and a manager also was very rude to me they said it’s my problem I have to deal with it and once I said I’m going to call corporate manager continue to say go ahead now I have to pay a 3000 job for something they broke

Came here to get an oil changeTurns out they put a smaller size plug that didn’t fit in my car when they were done which lead the car to leak and my engine stopped workingA month later my sister comes in same thing happened to her and she had to pay thousands to get her car running againDon’t recommend this place it seems like they don’t know what they are doingMaking you waste $$$ that shouldn’t be spent in the first place if they took their job seriously!

Not sure why I keep coming to this place over and over other than the convenience to be close to my house. The second time I come here with a low tire indicator on and they did not even bother to put air. Ha, but they ask if would like a new filter or top the fluid reservoir for an additional $5 but they could not add a few pounds of pressure to the tire. I noticed this on my way out but was not going to even trouble them... Next time i will go somewhere else..... Oh, and to top it off, I would be nice for them to add some hand sanitizer to this location. They have at Costco for only $7 a bottle.

I cant say enough good things about this place. It started out as a quick place to get my oil changed and now I go to them for everything. I can show up and explain a noise I am hearing, etc and they are always so willing to jump right in and get it fixed immediately! Usually a 10 minute wait for oil change, and if they are fixing something more involved Ive never waited more than an hour. Fast service, extremely affordable, great staff (not pushy and not trying to up-sell everything). Highly recommend!

I’ve been a long time customer of this company, never had any issues,.. til today. To my surprise I pull in with just one car being worked on at 5PM, Online hours say they close at 7PM, Just to be turned away and told they were closed for cleaning. Hmmm You’re considered essential, we’re in the middle of a pandemic, and you turn customers away who NEED oil changes in order to get around? That’s NOT OK. Do you know when other essential businesses clean? WHEN THEY ARE CLOSED!!! Then I get told “You can come back tomorrow”,... No, How about I don’t come back at all. Thanks but no thanks.

Ive been going here to get my oil changed for many years and they have always done a great job. I really enjoy how quick they are and they perform full service. Yes it is around $40 but you pay that price for a full service oil change and they are the fastest in the city, in and out within 10 minutes usually. Also Chicago prices so everything is pricier. They check everything and top off everything for you: all fluids, tire pressure, etc.. They also notice any problems with your car and let you know about it. They also recommend places in the neighborhood to help if they cant fix it themselves right away. They do have an auto shop/garage and experienced mechanics, so if you need repairs or something else other than just an oil change service. They do it all.When you compare this places prices to other full service oil changes, its actually very competitive. I checked a place out in the Northern Suburbs which was actually the same price - $40. When you go to places like Jiffy Lube or Midas, you might pay cheaper prices, but there will always be a long wait of cars and the mechanics take their sweet time working on them. I went to a Midas in the neighborhood near this place 90 minutes before they closed and they had one mechanic on site and he said there was no way he could get my car in for an oil change until the next day, because he had 2 cars in front of me.If I went to Quick Oil 1 hour before closing and they had 2 cars in front of me, they would get my oil changed within 20 minutes, and this actually happened.5 stars. Great place with great people who do great work.

Good experience, I was there April 22nd everyone was extremely personable and professional, young man who changed my oil did a good job. He brought over my dipstick to show me my new oil and was very polite. I highly recommend if you need a quick oil change.

My 2nd visit to this location, 1st visit a while ago. The store MANAGER still has the same nasty attitude with the services I request. He is always very combative and makes it very hard to conduct business with him. The employees have to apologize for his attitude time and time again. Not saying ALL customers are right but in my case if I want oil out of a sealed container vs a pump I should be able to have that. He is a very angry person. I will not be back here. I will also recommend women do not come alone bring a man because they try to overcharge for services as well. No problem with the employees themselves.

Excellent speed of service, price , and customer service= A+ customer satisfaction. My muffler decided to break off whilst I was somewhat afar and I drove a.s.a.p. to this location, having bought a car battery from them before. It was almost closing time and they let me leave it there. I live a block away, so excellent location for me too. The car was ready at 11:00 am, sound as a fiddle.

Came in for a quick oil change, there was no wait, they filled my washer fluid, they inflated tires and gave me lots of help on other issues with my vehicle. It was incredible value and hospitality. Wish they were everywhere. Support local, go here

Quick service but they are a ripoff. I put a lot of miles on my car and require frequent oil changes. They charge $40 more than I paid a competitor 2 months ago for the exact same thing, 0w20 synthetic oil. Thats a HUGE price difference! I am so aggravated and wish I would have just left, but due to time constraints I went ahead with the service. I will never return. Also they definitely do not check all the items they claim to do. Dont waste your money, there are much better options that are cheaper with better customer service.

Absolutely Awful!! One of the worst experiences of my life, and they almost ruined the engine in my car. I went there for a basic oil change and I let them know that as soon as they were done, I was getting on the thruway for a 500 mile trip. I asked them to double check everything please. They were too busy trying to sell me multiple services that I didnt need, rather than doing their job properly. They told me I needed new wipers when my wipers were brand new, they told me I needed an air filter when I clearly didnt, and they told me I needed my transmission fluid changed. Kia just told me a few weeks earlier that I didnt need it changed! I was already regretting coming here, but it was too late by then. When they were through, I got on the road and headed out of town. About 60 miles into my trip the oil light went on! Luckily I was near a rest stop and pulled over. I checked the oil and it was completely dry, there was NO oil in the car!! Immediately I knew that they did something wrong. Now, Im stuck in a blizzard, in the middle of nowhere, by myself, and my roadside assistance cant make it for 5 hours because of the storm. Im livid! After finally getting towed to a nearby mechanic, he noticed right away that they forgot to put the rubber seal (o ring) back into place when securing the oil filter. Because of this, all of the oil leaked out all over the engine. The rubber seal was still sitting next to it after all that time. I had to stay in a hotel and couldnt get back on the road until the next day because they wanted to make sure there was no damage to the engine. Luckily there wasnt. Throughout this whole time I was in contact with Quick oil trying to see what they were going to do about it. They did pay for the damage but not without threatening legal action and arguing with the mechanic who was fixing their mistake.I would never take my car there again, that was my first and last visit. They are overpriced, they rush their work, they dont care about the customer, they try to push services on you that arent needed to get more money out of you.There are places in Chicago that are half the price and they take their time. Such a little mistake but with a lot of consequences, and that is changing oil 101, its all they do there. Im lucky the damage was minor, but because of their carelessness, I was put into a terrible situation! STAY AWAY!

Great quick work

SHADY business. Been going here for an oil change for just over a year. Last time we left the oil light would not stop going off. We took it back, and they wanted to charge us to fix it...which we found odd since the oil light was not going off prior to the oil change.Asked friends for a trusted mechanic to double check everything. Turns out the oil filter had not been changed in forever. The current one in the car was filthy and falling apart. Which is a part of an oil change. Basically, they didnt do a complete job which could have led to further issues in the future.

It’s a scam. They have you drive up and make it seem like you have to get the most expensive oil change. To make matters worse, I went somewhere else for my next oil change and found out they did nothing except add new oil. For $80!!! I won’t be back.

About as bad as an oil change can get. My girlfriend and I pulled up and they told us it would be $39 for an oil change. There is a place down the street that does an oil change for $19. We informed the manager of the cheaper price nearby. He assured us we would get what we pay for because they do a bunch of additional checks. We decided to go ahead not because of the additional checks but because there was no line. After a speedy 10 minute oil change, they informed us our engine belt was bad. After some discussion we decided to move forward with replacing the belt. After a total of 20 minutes we were on the road. On the way home we noticed there was a vibration coming from under the hood. We drove back to Quick Oil and they informed us it was just because they didnt put the hood kickstand back in place correctly. After they fixed it, we drove off only to notice a check engine light. We came back 2 days later only to find that they forgot to connect the engine back up to the air filter. This alleviated the engine light problem. 2 days later my girlfriend was on her way back to Michigan when she heard a violent clunk from under the hood. The new belt had snapped an torn apart the insulation under the hood. After getting towed back to quick oil, she tried to get a refund for the damage to the car and the oil change for a little bit of compensation. They refused to give any additional refund. They gave us a free oil change, but this does not come close to covering the damage done to the car nor the time wasted going back and forth to fix a problem that shouldnt have been there in the first place.Save your time and money. This place is a nightmare and they do not care at all about their customers. Be warned!!!

Ive been going here for my oil changes the last 4 years. Eladio and his team noticed my Camry was leaking oil when I came in between oil changes for a top off (they do top offs for free). I came in at 8:00am the next morning to have my breaks done (177k on factory originals), the gasket replaced, and all new spark plugs (also factory). They were done in 3 hours and my Camey is running like a hamster on a wheel. Highly recommended.

Ive used this place for the last 15+ years. I have never experienced a single problem with their service. Ive used them as my primary mechanical service shop for brakes, shocks, tune-ups etc..Look, no one is perfect, but theyre close.

They try to rip you off. Went in today for an oil change. I got the $40 one. Several times they asked me if I wanted the more expensive one and I said no.They ended up charging me the more expensive one. They wrote the wrong mileage from my odometer, put 100 instead of 10000. They told me to get an oil change every 3000 miles even though my manufacturer told me every 7500 miles.My car has only 10000 miles and they told me my car has issues and it will be a few hundred dollars to fix. I didnt believe them.Be careful and stay away.

They are helpful and fix our car well. We have had significant problems with it since buying it used. I would recommend it for oil changes and mechanical work.

I work in the automotive industry and stopped by to check this place out for an oil change. The workers seemed oddly distant and did not want to explain what they were doing. Also, they charhed me to change my daylight and it still doesnt work.. just go to jiffy lube or a corporare place, they have higher customer standards.
