If I can give this dealership zero stars, I definitely would! My car has been with them for the whole month of September and now I am still having problems with my car. The service there are so rude and disrespectful. Derrick is very rude and lied to me multiple times. Doesnt know any facts about the vehicles policies and doesnt respond back to calls. I had such a horrible experience with them and never returning back

Save your money and go somewhere else. They wanted to charge us 10% over MSRP for market adjustment. Didn’t even mention it until we sat down and the first thing they wanted to do is run our credit before even telling us the price and their crazy high pricing.Went somewhere else and didn’t have this problem. They were trying to tell us all dealers do it right now. What a waste of time

Rogers is convenient to my home. However, I was not pleased with the service. I tried several times to call and set my service appointment. It wasnt until I physically came in to the dealership that I was able to set an appointment. Even in person, the young lady setting the appointment did not have the appropriate level of customer service acumen.On the day of my appointment. My entry was fine. I elected to sit in the waiting and informed my care professional that I needed to go to work and would be in the lobby. He never came to the lobby. He called and left a message. I responded to the service text to get an update and never got a response. I dont understand why he couldnt come to the lobby and get me? My car was ready for over an hour. If I hadnt gotten up to check on the status of my car, I have no idea how long I would be waiting.The receptionist, car attendant/valet, and the car care specialist were rude and unapologetic. The receptionist was snide...your car has been ready. When I asked the care specialist why he didnt come and get me, he was dismissive and said, I called you.... I then sat waiting for the valet for near 10 additional minutes. The care specialist came back and say me waiting and inquired as to why I was still waiting. I let him know this was my first time at Rogers and I was unfamiliar with their service procedures. He informed the valet at the key box. The valet, literally yelled across the garage for me to come and get my keys. I was appalled.I hope and pray this experience was an anomaly. If this is the level of service I can expect on a regular basis, Id rather drive to Oak Lawn Hyundai to get service where I have never had poor service in the 9 years that I have owned a Hyundai.

I truly take other people’s review with weight of a grain of salt. Each having reached their expectations in their experience. I work in customer service and understand all days aren’t built on our good days or with the same client personalities. Maybe it was a good day on both vehicle purchases that I’ve had with them within the past five years. My credit was horrible then, but thanks to their trust in me owning one of their vehicles, I have been able to raise it, by having a way to get to where I need to go, in a reliable vehicle. My second vehicle purchases went much smoother and their quick and speedy explanation was very clear in helping me understand terms and conditions of the entire process with minimal time. Expect more than what you hear, and maybe get a better outcome than most. Will be returning here again at the end of my journey with my new Hyundai Kona, they had given me more than expected allowance of my trade in, previously having a Hyundai Elantra. Thank you to the Rogers Hyundai team!

We have been getting our Hyundai service here for the past 8 months and have had horrible, day-ruining experiences. Today my girlfriend dropped off her car for a 915am appointment. Knowing from past experiences it would take longer than an hour for the appointment to be finished. She made it very clear that she had to be at work at 2pm. They assured her that it would only be at most 2 and a half hours. They never called, and after calling them at1:30pm, they said that theyll let her know when its ready. After walking to work in the snow, she gets a call at 4pm! So I have to walk there after work to get her car. Its freezing outside. After asking the lady at the front desk why it took 6 hours to do a scheduled service, she said I think they were busy today.-What is the point of having scheduled appointments if you cant do them in a decent amount of time?-Why not tell a girl, who has to be at work 5 hours after she drops off her car, that it will be A LOT longer than expected? She made this appointment 2 weeks ago, and you told her it was only 2.5 hour wait.-Why did it take over 6 hours for an oil change and a routine checkup?-Why can you do this to people? Take their shared car in the middle of winter in chicago and expect us to comply to your bad operation.Sorry, Im not sorry about this review. I have a couple more bad stories of this place, but have already used enough of my time writing this one.

I made an appointment for service to get a mystery noise checked out. I was told it was going to be 2-3 days to get it taken care of before they even looked at my vehicle. So what is the purpose of the appointment then? They asked if I had a ride which of course I had not planned on needing. Since no one had even listened to the sound yet, I decided to just leave. This was my first time ever getting service at a dealership. I didn’t know it wasn’t normal until I took my car to Hyundai of Lincolnwood today and they actually honored my appointment time.

After months of research on which vehicle I wanted to purchase, I finally decided on the Hyundai Kona. Rogers Hyundai is close to my house, and they got great reviews, so I decided to check it out. When I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, the facility was clean and organized, and the staff was very welcoming.I was introduced to my sales consultant - Austin Osa, who was very affable and attentive to what I wanted. I knew exactly what vehicle I wanted going in, so he instantly got me into a Kona for a test drive, then did his research to find me the trim level and color I wanted. Apparently the lime twist color with interior accents (its beautiful! check it out, seriously) was a rare find, so they found ONE in illinois, and I expected to get it in a week or so, but Austin drove up to Aurora to get it and bring it down to the dealership so I could get it the next day! I was elated when he called me and told me it was there. I couldnt get to the dealership until 7:30pm, but the first thing he did was plop me in my new Kona and take me for a test drive again. Austin was just as excited as I was ha. Then we came back, started the paperwork, took care of my trade in, and off I went!Just to boast, Austin had literally been at work since the butt crack of dawn, drove hours to get my car, and stayed until 9:30pm (even stayed after they technically closed at 9pm) to finish the deal for me. I know he was exhausted, and the amount of work he put in for me was insurmountable. So mad props to Austin Osa. If you want the best sales consultant, ask for him.P.S #1. I hesitantly opted to get the extended warranty, and I know its the sales teams job to upsell them since Im assuming someone gets commission for it, but I felt unsettled by the hasty decision I made, so once I got home I did some research and decided it wasnt a good fit for me. I called Austin, told him exactly why I wanted it removed, and without hesitation he agreed. The fact that he listened to me and didnt give me a hard time was much appreciated. Hes one of the only sales consultants EVER to actually listen to me in my 15 years of purchasing cars from dealerships.P.S #2. A manager (the guy who orders the inventory, cant remember his name) came out to my car as I was getting ready to leave, politely introduced himself and told me he was so impressed with the lime twist color with matching interior accents, that he ordered a few for the dealership! Since its a brand new vehicle they were unsure if that color would sell, but once everyone at Rogers Hyundai saw it in person they were obsessed, including myself. So thanks for coming out and introducing yourself!Please come here and purchase your vehicle! I loved my experience.

Angela was the first person I had contact with and she was great. Very personable, I enjoyed chatting with her. Even though she was multi tasking between customers she did a very great job of making me feel that I was still being cared for at the same time helping others. That goes a long way in the customer service business, so Angela thank you for making a mundane task of getting an oil change more enjoyable. I have lived in a few states over the past 12 years and had amazing experiences with my first Hyundai Dealer in San Antonio and my expectations were set high because of their amazing service in both buying my car and servicing it. I used to have a strict policy against getting my cars serviced at the dealers, but they were amazing so I changed my ways. When I moved to Ohio and bought another Hyundai i was very disappointed in their lack of customer service and my interaction with them was very minimal. But now moving back to Illinois and finding Rogers Hyundai and having the experience I did and plus you washed my car for me, I am glad I found this dealership and look forward to continuing the relationship to service my Hyundai. I also want to mention that while I was in the waiting room, every person ( I am assuming sales, finance, etc...) that walked back to go to their morning meeting said Good Morning to the group of us. You dont see that a lot especially in car dealerships, but I think we all noticed it, so kudos to your staff. I received a call about trading in my car after that visit and while I dont see buying a new car until this one is paid off, I will certainly look to Rogers Hyundai when I am ready.

I had a bit of miscommunication with my service manager for my repair; instead of leaving messages with the issue and next steps, he just told me to call him back. This went on for 2 weeks of us playing phone tag. It was beyond annoying, and I was frustrated, but he apologized and stated he has been a bit overworked and—after our talk— was 100% better about following up.They have a great promo to buy 3 oil changes for $150. I wasn’t going to do it after my poor service, but after the turnaround I decided to move forward and continue to give them my business.Nakia, the service check out lady, has a terrible, terrible attitude. Didn’t want to put on her mask when I asked her as I was paying and she said “I don’t have time for that, do you want your car or not?” Luckily a supervisor heard her poor reply and told her to put on a mask.

I took my car in May 21st to get it looked at because it stopped on me while I was driving. Oscar was my service advisor. The entire time my car was up there I never received an update. I went up there a week after I dropped it off because I just picked up my rental and I had to pass the dealership on the way home. That’s when I was told I needed an engine and he was sending the information to Hyundai to get it under warranty. I’m like ok, I just picked up a rental. Oscar then told me to try and rent a Hyundai next time they may cover it. No one ever mentioned to me I could get a loaner vehicle until I called Hyundai and they were the ones who kept me updated on the status of my car. Not one time did the dealership call with an update. Hyundai were the ones who told me that I was getting an engine due to the recall. My car was at the dealership for almost 4 weeks and they finally provided me a loaner on week 3. I got my car back on June 18th. My car alarm doesn’t beep now and my steering wheel is peeling badly after they had it. Also, there’s now a noise that my car makes when I turn left. This was terrible service and I would never recommend this place. They didn’t even bother to wash the outside of my car. If it wasn’t for Hyundai keeping me updated I wouldn’t even known what was going on with my car. I will never take my car back here. Still no one has contacted me regarding the horrible service. This place is so unprofessional.

I bought my car here which was great. No issues during the buying process. But now that I need to schedule routine service or even call about an issue I am having, you cannot get through to service. It will either ring and ring or it goes to some generic voicemail. And forget about speaking to the receptionist because she is rude and acts like she has more important things to do than answer any questions. What is the point in giving free oil changes or even having a service department if you are not going to answer calls? And it’s not like I live down the street where I can just drive there to get information. I had to call a completely different Hyandai dealership to get answers. This is not acceptable.

Let’s start off with Daniel Lopez is awesome! I had a lease ending on a 2016 Chevy Malibu. I went in to look for something smaller and cheaper I could use to move from leasing to owning. At the end of the journey I left with a vehicle that was great for me with a lower monthly payment, lower interest rate, cash back and a 10 year warranty. This is my third vehicle here and there’s a reason for that. Great job to the team at Rogers Hyundai and special thanks to Dan. Great job!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I actually had to take a day to calm myself before writing this review, because this is the most UNPROFESSIONAL establishment I have ever visited for service. The customer service in their service department is at an all time low, from the managers on down. Let me start by saying this is coming from a loyal customer since 2016, since I purchased the Hyundai, by this being my only local Hyundai dealership. The thing is you try to do the right thing by taking your vehicle to a reputable dealership, but you still receive subpar service. This is not the first, second, or third issue I have had with these people. As a matter of fact I still have a free oil change with them from a previous unrelated issue other than what prompted this review today, that I won’t be taking advantage of because I no longer want to leave my vehicle in their less than capable hands. So to speak to this incident, I most recently had someone drop my vehicle off on last Wednesday, 9/16/2020, at 11:30am for my service appointment I had already waited two weeks for. From that Wednesday morning, 9/16/2020, up until this Monday afternoon, 9/21/2020, I received absolutely NO communication or update from the service advisor, Derrick Parks, who was to manage this visit. It was only after about 3 separate voicemails on separate days to both the SERVICE ADVISOR, DERRICK PARKS, and the SERVICE MANAGER, ED WOODS, that I received any type of communication. Their response was, “After putting gas in your vehicle(since it was apparently *really low on gas* when they FINALLY got in that MONDAY for a test drive), they could not get the issue to replicate.” The issue being the car is slipping for a second whilst in the midst of accelerating, hence there may be a major issue which is why I was willing to wait weeks for the appointment expecting to get this issue resolved in a timely manner. What a joke! After informing me of this Mr.Parks even went as far as to open his mouth and tell me I could either leave the car there for another day so that they could possibly check it again tomorrow(or let’s be honest just leave it sitting), or if I were to come pick it up that day, 9/21/2020, there was “just a $28 charge” for the $10 in gas and $18 for the person who dropped the vehicle offs shuttle ride home(which is usually complimentary). I told this man I wouldn’t be paying them $28 for anything!!! Especially wasting my time and inconveniencing me for damn near a whole week for them to do NOTHING, besides leave my vehicle smelling like a cigarette! I am a full time worker and I worked those 5 days straight that they had my vehicle just sitting and had to figure out my transportation since it is essential to my job, but nobody at Rogers gave a flying f*** about that. Just as they obviously don’t care about their “appointments”. I received no true acknowledgement or apology from ANYONE. I will not be back for ANY reason and I advise you not to either. Also, my gas light had just come on the morning the vehicle was dropped off & still has a reserve of 30 miles until empty at that point so what they wrote on my paperwork at the end about “issue may have been due to lack of fuel” is total bs and a cop out. And I hope when the real issue is revealed these guys can be somehow held responsible for their NEGLIGENCE. Also when the service manager, Ed Woods, did finally call me back Monday after service being closed over the weekend, I suppose he just wanted to tell me what I wanted to hear and advised me the technician had a code they were calling Hyundai manufacturers to figure out. Obviously nothing ever came of that LIE. And I knew it was a lie because Derrick actually called me back within a few minutes of that phone call to inform me the technician would be getting to my vehicle shortly and he would definitely let me know something by today. Total lack of communication in their office. In short, find a better dealership.

Antoine was absolutely awesome!! Not only did he get me into a newer vehicle than what I had but he lowered my interest rate & payment as well. He was very calm with how he approached helping me with this situation. I can definitely appreciate not being with a pushy sales person. Got car serviced and price included a car wash. about 5 seconds after i left the dealer i realized they didnt wash my car. i called and they said bring it back. i said no, i left it there for several hours so they could perform everything i paid for. i asked to speak with service manager and was transferred to Tonys voicemail. he has yet to call back, clearly they dont care. makes you wonder what other shortcuts they take while servicing the car. will never take car back there to get serviced.

I took my car in for excessive oil consumption concern on June 4, 2019.Last Sunday I discovered that the technician cross-threaded one of the wheel lug nuts on the driver-side rear wheel while doing the multi-point inspection.I brought the car back in on Wednesday to address this issue and the Director of Service flatly denied that the dealership had performed the multi-point inspection listed on the repair order(650155).When I pressed him for why its on the invoice if they didnt do it, he said it was something that automatically generated by the system.He told me theyre going to repair it anyway as a goodwill gesture.About two hours later, another employee informed me that they wouldnt do it because theyve never removed that wheel to do brake inspection in the first place.This person stated that they do only visual inspection for the multi-point inspection and they couldnt find anything wrong with the car.Actually a couple of exterior lamps are out on my car and its hard to believe they passed on that kind of gravy job.Also anyone can check for a loose tie rod end by shaking the wheel, so why would a repair shop pass on that job too by performing only visual inspection?Two other dealers had noted that the driver-side tie-rod end was needed to be changed. Replacement of the drive belt was also recommended by them. Another impossible-to-pass easy-money job for a car dealer.When I got the invoice on that day, I found it odd that I didnt get a multi-point inspection report with it showing all kinds of checked items including how much brake pad materials have left, but I didnt think much of it because that was not the purpose of the visit.Now I have no doubt in my mind that they were trying to hide the evidence that the technician had damaged the wheel nut and stud while putting the wheel back on.

I’m extremely detailed person and customer service is KEY when I’m spending my hard earned money. I came into the dealership this afternoon extremely nervous. I was working a deal with CarMax but I wanted to visit Roger Hyundai to see what they could offer me. I was immediately greeted by my sales associate Gary who was heaven sent. He was honest and pushed the process along SMOOTH and QUICK. I was met by Duane who wanted to ensure my needs were being met and said he would buy me pizza :) Brian was relentless in making sure I got the BEST finance rate possible, we was able to beat the best rate that was offered to me from the previous dealership.
