Darren is the guy you want to ask for if you want to purchase a car! The guy has great patience, respectful, knowledgeable and makes time for any enquiries you might have for him. He was always available even when he wasnt at work yet. As a first time car buyer, you can trust in Darren to find you what you want or finds great alternatives in case the specific model/specs arent available at that time. Also, as you escalate in your negotiation make sure to ask for Sales Manager Evan. He is also very knowledgeable and his enormous charisma makes the negotiation ENJOYABLE. So, maybe the 5 stars is because my previous experience at a Hyundai dealership in town was straight up garbage, but I had a terrific time getting a 4Runner with these guys. I worked with Samy Elgazzar and the guy was great, respectful and not pushy. I worked out a deal with them over the phone and I believe I spoke with Sales Manager Evan Shaje (if I remember correctly) and he was also chill and respectful. Overall they were mindful of how I wanted to do business and of my timing and once we got to a deal they kept their word and didn’t try any last minute trick or what not.Overall a great experience therefore I needed to give those guys a shout out because if this is how they are working even in today’s market, they deserve the praise and customers deserve more experiences like this.

We recently bought a 2021 Toyota Highlander from Northside Toyota. Anyone thats in the new (or used) car market today knows how challenging it can be to find the right CAR and find a fair PRICE. After many disappointing encounters with other dealerships, we discovered BOTH at this dealership. Our sales person, Rafael Marin, was incredibly professional and well supported by his sales management team in structuring our deal. As customers, we felt appreciated. I got the bill of sale from my Credit Union prior to going over from northern Indiana. I took them a cashiers check. What should have been a quick transaction turned into a 2-hour journey AND they checked my credit when they had the money in hand. My credit is excellent, hence why I simply brought them a cashiers check. There was no need to run my credit with money in hand and drop my credit 60 points. Pulling credit without permission is illegal.The car ended up having a bunch of paint touch-ups on the back end. Once exposed to the elements, the paint washed right off like finger paint.I wont return to this dealership. Ill stick to the small town service around here.

I was interested in purchasing a vehicle for about 4 months and attended multiple Toyota dealerships. Once I extended my search radius I found the Northside Toyota dealership in Chicago and to be honest I was very delighted. The dealership alone is beautiful and big. It was a snowy day and their show room was inside the dealership which was amazing! That is not even the best part. What I loved most was the help I received from my saleswoman by the name of Helena. From the second I walked she was greeted me and was of wonderful help through out the process. This was my first time purchasing a vehicle from a dealership and I can promise you it will not be my last as long as Helena works for Toyota. I have never felt as comfortable and excited to purchase a vehicle, especially after searching for 4 months and not having this feeling with other Toyota dealerships. I was very please with sales rep Mo Jasim. He was genuinely professional from the moment I parked my car in the lot to the sale paperwork processing. I like the fact that he did not try to sell me something I did not want and worked with me in obtaining a reasonable price! To me this is truly legit sales professionalism, unlike typical sales gimmicks and obvious scripts that most car salesman follow.

A beautiful new building doesnt mean you provide good service. I called service to have some factory recall work performed on my vehicle. The girl said she needed to check with parts to make sure they had the part in stock and would call me back by the next day. Good thing I didnt hold my breath because its been absolutely weeks and I had the work done by bredemann. They dont care about me as a customer I certainly dont care about them. I live closer to Northside Toyota, but Ill take the drive and be provided with good customer service.

We left a deposit and made an appointment to come back when it arrived . When it arrived it did not disappoint! Rich then secured special financing and put in the remote start as we billed out . Worst experience! Noel in service missed the whole point what i requested for in service. Wasted my hours sitting there waiting! The business associate phone call person lied to me that they fixed the glass so i had to reschedule the glass replacement with other dealership. I am a physician myself. I hardly gathered time to fix my car, nothing got fixed. Wasted whole day. Not coming here in the future.

Bill in the service department is great! He is always friendly, courteous, and does a good job explaining the type of work that needs to be done on the car.

I bought a rav 4 hybrid about a week ago from them. The process was fairly straightforward. The salesperson Sammy was great. The leadership in the back, however, will try and get you wherever they can. For example, they did not add all the accessories my trade in had on their trade-in value which was thousands and they also have a $3500 protection add-on to every vehicle that is non-negotiable.

We lease a vehicle from this location and recently brought it in for the 15,000 mile check. Just before bringing it in, we noticed the check tire light come on and that our rear drivers side tire was losing air. Luckily, we thought, we had a service appointment planned where they would rotate the tires and check the pressure. We mentioned it when we dropped the car off, and when we picked it up at the end of the day, the light came back on. Two days later, we had a completely flat tire in the middle of rural Wisconsin. We had to get a new tire and were left in a very unsafe position. The tire that went flat was, in fact, the rear drivers side tire - all but confirmation that they did not check pressure or rotate the tires at all.When I called the dealership to make them aware of this miss, they were unhelpful and denied it all the way. They blamed us for not reminding them to do their jobs. Now we have lost trust in them entirely - how do we know that at each service appointment they are doing what they promised?Would absolutely not recommend getting a car here. If you unfortunately have already given them your business, be sure to confirm that they are in fact doing what you pay them to do.

Do yourself a favor and do not do business with this dealership! There are way too many places to purchase a new vehicle. Save yourself the time and frustration! I purchased two vehicles from this location 3 years ago. At the time of purchase, I also purchased the extended service agreement. Earlier this year I traded in one of those vehicles. What should have been a simple phone call and email, I have now battled with this dealership for 6 months to get them to cancel the extended service agreement. Numerous calls, countless emails. Everyone acts like theyre helping but yet nothing gets done. Ive called numerous times to speak with Steve Dunn the manager, with no phone calls returned. Again do yourself a favor and buy a car elsewhere these people obviously dont want our money. They just want to waste peoples time!!

I bought my first car here (2017 Toyota Camry SE) in 11/2020 and I have not felt happy ever since with the purchase for the following reasons:- The car was given 4 different tires, yes, all of them are from different brands. One went flat within 2 months and I replaced it.- The car had tons and tons of shattered window GLASS DEBRIS inside the trunk and back seat that took me . I wish I had seen this before. Its unacceptable. The back seats? where my kids would be? Very disappointed with the car inspection or however they cleaned the car before selling it to people.- They NEVER respond to my emails of questions/concerns.- I recently got these lights on the dash. I called and asked if they could check it out. The first thing the agent told me was that the charge would be $348 for that without even looking further into it. I went to Autozone and Midas, they checked the car out thoroughly without taking any of my offered money. Apparently, one of the car tires has cupping issue, also rear strut has issue too early considering the car mileage.I would not have gone to them in the first place and I hope you wont either.

Was very thorough with explaining everything to us and willing to work the numbers out with the manager. Ended up getting the car the same day!

The financial managers at this location have no manners. They made us get the company warranty ( useless warranty and I suggest you to not get it. We had it for our first car from this location and whenever something happened they said it doesn’t cover this/ that…) and we asked them to cancel it after a short time. He acted arrogant and careless and said OK! Now almost a year passed and we had to go talk to them many times because we still can’t see the change in our account. They never apologized for their mistake and their poor Customer service.

Very unprofessional customer service. I just received a call from a salesperson at this dealer asking me if I was still shopping for a vehicle and when I responded that I already bought a vehicle already, the salesperson just responded with thanks and hung up the phone so aggressively. The first time I stopped into this dealer looking for a vehicle, nobody came up to me asking me if I needed help until the guy who wasnt even a salesperson- he was at the service desk & noticed I needed help and went to grab a salesperson for me. I could tell customer service isnt their thing especially how hostile the salespeople are to me. At least try to have better customer service even if you have to fake your way through it.

Ive been to this location for service twice. Definitely expect them to try and upsell you unneeded service. Stealership. The second time, they forgot to install new wiper blades that I PAID for, and I now have to return to the site again just to get my refund.The first time I went, the service salesmen definitely felt pushy trying to get me to get the Hybrid Fan cleaning service. Something that requires just a couple tools, a can of compressed air, and about an hour of your time to clean. But here, that was almost $500. To clean a fan with a can of compressed air.Then, about an hour after I got the results from my vehicle inspection, the service salesman came up to me and said the guys in the shop found out my car was leaking coolant. Strange. Seems like something that DEFINITELY shouldve come up during a vehicle inspection they did merely an hour ago. No notes of it on the report at all. Sounds like incompetence to me.The last time I went, I had the service on that coolant loop issue mentioned above, and they quoted me for just around $550. Sure. AFTER I agreed, the service person then said I would also need to change out the coolant if I wanted to do that. Which makes sense, but shouldve ---definitely--- been included in the quote, as it was $200+ extra on top of the $550. It definitely felt like they waited to tell me about the extra cost until I had agreed. I had not heard about the extra cost until that moment.I will not be returning.

I had a great experience with Christian in the service department. I bought a 2002 Tacoma from a non-Toyota dealer and brought it in for a general inspection and to get the a/c system recharged. Even with COVID-19, the service experience was quick and painless! Thank you for getting my ride all step up!!

The service person who attended me was quite hostile when asking if my car was ready or not. He knew absolutely nothing, they didn’t even call me to let me know that my car was ready. He just told me look for him and left. Is seriously? It seems to me a super bad treatment and not only today , it is the second time that I receive bad service and treatment from these guys. The building and everything are very comfortable, but the treatment between the sales and service personnel is totally different. I am very disappointed and upset.

Zero stars would be the only option for this business!My son brought in his Prius for the service department to look at the A/C. It was blowing warm air and making a hissing sound. They claimed they scanned it for codes, found nothing, checked for leaks found none, and recharged the freon for a total of $400. They also performed their safety check, stating that the he needed throttle body service, and the cooling fan needed to be cleaned, all for $1000. He thankfully declined further service. I took the prius to my mechanic who immediately noted that the compressor for the A/C was broken and needed to be replaced, that the cars brake pads and rotors were completely gone, and the cooling fan and throttle issues(?), were not an issue at all. Car is running like a top, blowing ice cubes. Not sure how this dealership could ever explain this? Not only would we never go back there, I hope if you read this you will also stay away from their service department, as its an old school shake you down, put the fear in you, boiler room operation. I will be reporting them to Toyota and the BBB!

I was trying to avoid a car dealership because I didnt want to deal with high-pressure sales tactics or anything, so I had my guard up when walking in here. But Darren was extremely helpful and not high-pressure at all.I purchased through the Costco program. Its straight-forwarded and easy.I would definitely buy from here again, and I would seek out Darren - hes an honest, hard-working guy and was very pleasant to deal with.

From March 2021 - Came in inquiring about a used Toyota Prius. As usual, they encouraged me to make an appointment and assured me that the car would be pulled up and available when I arrived. Not only was it not pulled up, it was blocked in, and the 12V battery was dead. I said I would like to run a diagnostic on it, the sales person told me she was certain there was no issue with it.I said I was not comfortable having someone in the car with me for the test drive because I had to help take care of elderly relatives and I did not want to take any chances because of covid. Helena (the salesperson) told me that she had to come with me because I was not insured - so far theyre the only dealership who had this requirement, and I feel it had more to do with giving her the opportunity to spend time selling the vehicle.The car was close to empty on gas so we had to stop to get gas during the test drive. After getting gas, again the car would not start. Again, Helena assured me nothing was wrong. It was clear I knew more about the Prius than she did.I had only intended to test drive the car and was not going to make a decision that day as I was short on time. However they kept me there by making me believe they would provide some break on the price, but never offered anything more than throwing in remote start. Further to that, they tried to charge me an additional $2000 to activate the certification which was absolute BS since the car was already listed and priced as a Toyota Certified Pre-Owned vehicle and insisted this was what all Toyota dealers do. This was a lie.They also came up with many other lies about other dealerships and why their cars were priced low because the cars were bad, or that they werent actually certified. My feeling was because I said that I could afford to pay cash, that I needed a car soon, and that I had no car to trade in that they thought they could take advantage of me to sell me a car for a higher price that probably had many problems. Im really glad I called myself a Lyft and got myself out of there as soon as I could. They have a nice and pretty showroom, but thats about it. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy.I did wind up buying the same Prius for less mileage for much less at another dealership. I asked Northside Toyota to not contact me anymore, and that if I heard from them again, I would post a new review about my experience to another site, so here I am.

I needed help learning all the buttons and things on my 2021 Corolla. Im 69 and not as quick as I used to be. Maria was wonderful and all the service people were attentive, friendly and patient. Very important to get service like that. I love my new car.

I have had an appointment for test drive at 12pm. After 30 min I am still sitting and waiting for a car to test it.My lunch time from work is half of the way and I really don’t like the customer service at this location.Managers have to put their work of upper management over managers here.

They are fraudester! Salesman Nishat Khoso sold me car and he concealed the error of car that I got just after 3 miles of driving, engine light, my mechanic said it’s transmission error, now they are not taking back this car. Really disappointed.

Terrible customer service! People would just barely look at me and walk away. I went to talk to Kelly Desrochers, she set up an appointment for me, and when I came she wouldn’t come out so I would talk to her, instead I ended up talking to Richard Bertsche. He was very disrespectful, and very difficult to talk with, I told him to give me a quote on how much it would take to buy my car. He never actually looked at the vehicle and was giving me random numbers. He was literally trying to force me to buy a car. One of the most terrible customer service people I’ve ever met with! Stay away from him and Kelly! They’re not going to get you anywhere good with deals for your cars. I know I won’t be bringing them my business!

The finance department looked out for me as well. I think it was Ivan who worked with me and got me an even better rate than I was expecting. I went in to buy a Toyota Tacoma. The window price on their website was $34,000 plus $3,000 in dealer add-ones. When I met with Mohammed, he quoted a price that appeared to double charge for the add-ons. So even with a Costco lower price the truck was $39,000 in stead of the roughly $36,000 it should have have been. When I called him out on it, he was unapologetic and said something about inventory shortage. I wouldn’t buy a cup of coffee from these scammers.

Best place to buy a car, the saleman Richard Bersche, was a great gent, he help me out with all the questions and insure me on every concern that I have! got a great deal from this dealership! i would suggest you all just to stop in and talk to him! the finance manager was really nice and professional, i wish i wouldve remembered his name! the rav4 hybrid premium that i got here was a steal.

My experience with these guys was awesome! Despite being in another state at the time of interesting, Stuart took great are of us and made the process very easy. Stuart (sales) and Evan (finance) were able to answer all our questions and we never had that uncomfortable feeling like at other dealerships (where they are trying to take advantage of you). Highly recommend these guys as they were very professional and knowledgeable.

Purchased a whole bunch of vehicles here, but got me screwed up last time. Been Waiting for the title for more than 6 weeks now, still have no idea when will receive it, multiple visits didn’t help, a single vehicle is holding up an entire container and vessel going overseas now. Hopefully will resolve this issue soon. But good people though, Richie from sales, Nick from sales, Christie from finance and manager Mark are great people to work with.

I purchased a car here at the end of July. At the time of sale, there was a minor issue with the car that the salesperson said could be resolved once materials were in. The last response from the salesperson was Aug. 7. It is Aug. 31. No updates were provided and my emails have not been responded to since then.Plz throw this dealership in the trash.

Nice place. Rico is nice and friendly. I was ordering a car which they didnt have in stock. They got me an excellent match in 2 days at no extra charge.
