When I first came to JV my nails were severely damaged and it hurt to put a new set on...after 6 weeks yes 6 weeks...Ive never had a set that lasted that long let alone went with out a fill but...however after 6 weeks my nails were healthier and there was so much growth. Today I walked in and was skeptical about a new nail tech however she made them so pretty. I love it. They have a little bit of an attitude though and I honestly can do without all that. But I will go back because my nails have never been more healthier!

Ive throughly enjoyed my entire experience. I came in relaxed, and ready for a fun deal. The staff is very welcoming. The staff greet with a warm welcome. Very busy on the weekend. Decent environment. Zen energy. Peaceful vibes. Inviting frequency.

I come here pretty often and they always do a great job with my nails. Even when they’re very busy they try to make sure you’re 100% satisfied with their work.

Ive visited several places near my home to find a good salon I can frequent for services. JV Nails spa provided excellent service. My gel polish actually lasted more than two weeks. I will return.

It was very nice. The lady that did my pedicure was really nice too. But my gel all peeled off on like 2 days.

The nail technician needs to work on her customer service skills. 🙄 She was aggressive with pulling my hands to get near her instead of saying to please move up. I ONLY went there bc it was close to my destination. She received NO tip, that was my 1st AND last time going there.

Woman who did my nails didn’t listen at all to what I wanted. She wouldn’t take no for an answer, I made it clear I didn’t want any glitter added but she continued to add glitter. I hate how my nails turned out, they are tacky and not what I asked for. I ended up painting over them because I couldn’t stand them anymore. Please listen to what your customers want!

My first time here. They were pretty good.

I came in just a few minutes before closing and they were nice enough to take me. The nail technician did not rush while doing my nails and they came out flawless! The entire staff was nice, offered beverages and were very hospitable. I will be returning again!

One of their entries was closed off for no apparent reason (Covid regulations would actually encourage entry through one door, exit through another). They were able to take a walk-in, which was appreciated. I spent $25 before tip on a gel removal and cuticle trim on which the technician depended heavily on previously used nail files and the rotary sander, the latter of which is completely unnecessary in gel removal and causes damage to the nails. Pricing on their website does not exceed $20 for manicure + gel removal. Even with an added $3 Covid service fee this doesnt add up. Will not be patronizing this salon again.

It is very clean and well maintained. After making my selection of services, I was pampered by the techniques of the skilled staff and lulled into a most relaxed state. This spa-like experience is one I plan to indulge in as often as I can.

This place was my new nail salon in Charlotte. Their services was the best. They made me feel like family from the first moment. My nail tech is so wonderful. And gave me exactly what I asked for!!! As a dad, I bring my girls here every so often but today I decided to join them and get a pedicure. The owner Buckley Nguyen was awesome and made us all feel right at home. The technician was very friendly and they all communicated with the customers unlike some other places Ive seen. It was a very good experience and I highly recommend this place, even for dads. 😁

I went J V Nails Spa for the first time last Saturday. Thats an awesome for service.I didnt have to wait long since I was a walk-in. The staff also was so good hearted. And made a good design for all nails. This place is reliable and clean.Overall, extremely satisfied! Will definitely come again.

I come here regularly and never had a problem, but this new guy is terrible. Rough handling your hands, doesn’t listen to instructions from me or his co-worker and my nails are crooked from a mile away. I am so done with this place.

Uyen was my technician and she did a great job. I actually had a big piece of nail missing due to an accident and she fixed it right up. I had a gel manicure and polish. Efficient and it looks great.

Poor experience with a employee there. I think he is the owner. He was doing a fill in and I picked one of the cats eye designs. It came out poorly so I asked him to change it and he did. I picked a new color while he was taking off the old polish so before he started applying the second color I changed to as different color mind you before he started applying the new color. He snapped you gotta make up your mind and he called me a man (I am trans by the way). I will NEVER give this place one cent of my money again. I know they dont care but they need to remember its a customer business transaction and treat people decently. Nail shops are a dime a dozen so screw them

I went to get a wax done today, the people are so sweet and friendly!! However, I just had to write a review specifically about a lady I met today named Julie!! She is SO sweet and very good at her work! If you get Julie, she deserves big tips. She was the the best at her work, sweetest, nicest and friendliest. People like her would make a killing in tips for guest sastisfaction in nail shops.

I don’t typical get my nails done but I went in for a deluxe pedicure and it was a great experience. The girl who helped me was super nice and we chatted quite a bit. Will return for more pedicures as well as manicures in the future!

Amazing.First time here today.I usually just get a polish change and I found that when I go to other places they dont take the time to do it well.Not only did nails do it fast but also made sure it was absolutely perfect! And not to mention the massage chairs are the best.A bit pricey but definitely worth it!!Definitely come back, thank you!

Been here a few times but I’m going to look for a new place. Disappointed in the quality of work and some rude customer service. Over the period time I was going I felt rushed when the nail tech had no other appointments to get to, nail tech complained they weren’t feeling well because of other customers (I think complaining about customers to a customer is a no no), seemed agitated quite a bit, and snapped at me. There were consistent quality issues like my nails came out different lengths, crooked, polish is sloppy etc. probably due to the rushing. There were also some structural issues like nails cracking or breaking after a short time, which I was blamed for by the tech, even though I baby them. I shouldn’t have kept going but I wanted to give them a chance because the location is so convenient for me. I should have walked out my first appointment when I saw my nail tech and another customer get into it.

Eureka! Ive finally found a nail spot that I love and enjoy going to thats near my home. Ive been here three times and Ive had a different nail technician each time. It impressed me that each one is fully capable to do whatever kind of design(s) (not usually the norm at most nail salons) and shape your nails beautifully.

Tried this place again but a different person. Nails look okay, I really love the design

Skinny guy with glasses was way too rough. Pushing back with his hard nails on the side of my finger nails and filing down like I had rocks for hands. Fingers are sore. The nails looked ombré like I asked but were super clumpy. Looks like a big bubble on finger nails. He had his AirPods on the whole time. I don’t know if it was the time of day, 6pm, but the TV’s were off and no music playing. Straight up awkward. Never returning.

The treatment was fantastic but the outcome wasn’t. My toe polish was on my skin and the worst part is I got a bacterial infection on my finger. Tried to let them know and I never heard back. I had to go to the doctor and get on antibiotics.

I came here after another salon royally messed up my nails. The manager, Buckley, and his wife (who did my nails) bent way over backwards to make sure I left happy. I went back for my next gel mani here and another perfect nail job. A+++

When I walked into the building nobody greeted me. The person who did come help me seemed like she had an attitude, she moved quickly not taking her time. Im 19. Just walked in and got a orangic spa pedicure. The whole experience was really nice and the did a fantastic job on my feet! Usually leave most spas somewhat disappointed but no complaints here!

Great service went to get two nails that had messed up redone and they did it no problem. But I did notice that they have different techniques of doing coffin nails so now I have two that a very different. I don’t mind though it look nice just suggestions all learn the same look.

Idk the name of the woman who did my sns but she a wonderful job. She was very detailed,neat, and fast paced. I was a walk in and they were able to get started in me in a few minutes. I will definitely be coming back for my sns and trying out getting my feet done there. Highly recommend!!

JV Nail Salon has poor customer service. The lady seemed agitated that she has to come off break to do my nails. She was very rude when I asked her anything. I picked out a color and didnt like it Before she started and she said, its the color you chose like I couldnt change my mind. I didnt let her paint them and paid only for the fill in. Geez, nail salons are a dime a dozen, dont pay for rude service ever!

I went there a few months ago for a gel manicure. The polish cracked the following day. I decided to try the place again today for a regular manicure. I noticed that lots of things seem dirty there. And the lotion used for the massage of my hands smelled horrible. So, I left before the polishing. I will not go back there.

Ive been going to this place for a while to get my eye brows done. Nina does a superb job. However, I went one Friday evening signed in at 6:32 pm no one acknowledged me. I sat and waited for 10 mins. Nina looked over and saw me and still didnt acknowledge me. I thought to myself maybe shes going to come around and ask me what I needed. That didnt happen. Another lady walks in from the other entrance they asked her what she needed she said pedicure and eye brows. They told her no were closed. The time was 6:42pm. They close at 7pm. If thats the case then they really need to post a sign stating, no customers after a certain time. So I got up and asked can you do my eyebrows, at first Nina said no, then she said 15 mins. She wanted me to wait 15 more mins. So I left and wont be going back! When you have paying and returning customers you dont treat them any kind of way. Lesson 101 customer service. Your customers are the ones who refer people and help build your business, so remember that the next time when you turn people away.

The only Asian guy that works in jv nails was very disrespectful! I had an appointment with another tech he proceeds to help trying to rush on my nails. Drilling the mess out of them and Im very sensitive. He said GO OVER THERE AND WAIT ! I told him I had a scheduled appointment but he wanted the money! Lol! Smh If I wasnt a changed person he would have gotten what he may have never expected! I will tell everyone to go somewhere else ! I have been to this establishment two times, each time receiving a mani/pedicure. The technicians are friendly, the establishment is clean, and the service is very good. I reccommend this business everyone.
